We SHARE a lot here, of our insights, thinking, fears and aspirations, and our view of how the World works.
And yet, unless its apparent by our screen names, or unless we say, longtime readers really have no idea of our demographics; male/female, black/white/hispanic/asian, young or old, or our income or even education level.
All those questions they ask in polls, all the distinctions that Dems think are SO important.

Former President Trump has expanded his lead over President Biden in recent polling after last weekend’s assassination attempt.
A survey, released Thursday by CBS News, found that among likely voters, 52 percent say their choice for president is Trump. Forty-seven percent say the same about Biden.
A Morning Consult survey released Thursday also found Trump widened his lead after the shooting.
Forty-six percent of respondents say they will vote for Trump while 42 percent say they will support Biden. Eight percent say they will cast their ballot for someone else and 5 percent say they don’t know.
Independent voters lean toward Trump. Thirty-eight percent support the former president’s reelection bid compared to 32 percent supporting Biden’s. Eighteen percent say they will vote for someone else and 12 percent are undecided.

The short position in 12 million shares of DJT stock is allegedly the largest Austin Private Wealth, LLC has ever taken and the trade represents 6% of total shares and over 16% of the float of the DJT stock. It’s highly unlikely to have been “an error” as they now try to claim.
Even without the assassination attempt, the short position would have been interesting as it was opened just days before the RNC was to take place.
Given that Donald Trump was generally accepted as the Republican nominee – and given President Biden’s recent debate and interview performance – it is probable DJT stock would have risen after the nomination was officially announced, even without the attack.
Austin Private Wealth amended their filing on 7/16 and removed their put option – no surprises there.
