Very close to the same azimuth.
Where was President Trump looking at the exact moment he took the round to his ear? From that podium his head was facing almost directly at the shooter on the roofs position. For that one shot the azimuth has to agree exactly with the shooter on the roof. From another position President Trump doesn’t just get a round through the ear but through the forehead or the back of the head.
The windows on the second floor of the building behind the roof the “shooter” was on would give a very similar path.

This one picture illustrates what is possible or impossible for that one shot that pierces the ear of President Trump.
The water tower that everyone keeps mentioning is much farther to the right, may not have clear line of sight from those trees but is not on the correct azimuth line. That tower presents an almost impossible exfil for anyone positioned there and no concealment or cover from the catwalk to hide behind. Anyone there would have been spotted and photographed by someone in all likelihood.
Again all evidence at this time that we can know (given the videos, audio and pictures haven’t been edited) points at one shooter from that roof position where a man was videoed crawling and then photographed dead.
The graze injuries on Trumps face are almost horizontal, those shots could not have come from a high elevation.
Also of note that no where have I read about the video showing the High-Lift that was positioned with the large speaker. If you WATCH closely at the time one of the shots was fired, it appears that hydraulic line was PIERCED and sent out a large spray of fluid and the extended boom slowly going down. I believe this was where one of the shots landed! It was in the Line of Fire!

How did the rifle appear on scene? Crooks was seen walking around the area prior to Trump appearing on stage. He did have a range finder while checking through security which was odd but maybe odd enough for people to notice and remember this individual.
Google earth shows a second story window directly behind where this “shooter” is positioned. One can think that there is more than one shooter. One to shoot at the crowd (Crooks) and spray bullets for a distraction while the “real” shooter takes a shot at Trump (misses when he turns his head) and then finally shoots Crooks to complete the deed.
Crooks’ autopsy should answer the question if he was shot from the front by the counter snipers and or shot from behind by the second shooter. The report will read that they cannot confirm bullet entry in the back of the head because of massive wound damage.

that he was identified as a possible threat but not accosted
That he had a broken down and easily and quickly reassembled AR 15 in that backpack.
that the counter sniper team hesitated in part because there were known “good guys” in the building below the roof.
that the counter sniper team also hesitated because though highly trained they were not battle hardened veterans. (their reaction to the sound of actual shots)
Finally the last category of media reports and government statements:

Crooks may or may not be the shooter, not enough evidence that we actually know, pictures not clear.
Crooks or someone else may or may not have explosives in a van or other ride (reports differ).
Forget about ladders and other distractions…….there was a shooter on that roof that day and later a body on that roof that day. Forget that “the body was below the peak and that a rifle was not within reach…..reports and bodies move after they’re shot as do weapons on roofs.

I will say that AT THIS TIME there is not enough evidence to support any other shooter than the one upon that roof that day. That there was negligence bordering on maliciousness displayed by the SS who were in command at that site.
There is also the possibility that someone whispered into someone’s ear that a certain roof would not be covered on 13 Jul 24 in Butler, Pa but thus far there is no evidence.
Sadly we may never KNOW definitely and beyond a doubt anymore than we KNOW right now.
