I’m having trouble believing the constructed narrative around President Trump’s attempted assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks.
First, I’m not talking about the ridiculously sketchy events that day. I’m also not talking about the hours, days and weeks leading up to the shooting and the background of what he would be doing in those timeframes. I’m talking about the actual personage of Thomas Mattew Crooks, the description of him, his identity, who he is.
According to what little data footprint is available and shared by media, Thomas Matthew Crooks, age 20, DOB: 09-20-2003, had no social media presence. Let that sink in for a moment. A 20-year-old in 2024 with no social media presence.
No TikTok, WhatsAp, Telegram, SnapChat, Insta, Twit, FB, gaming profile or Apple ID to correspond with his almost guaranteed iPhone, XBox or Playstation? Sorry, not even close to plausible.
Second, it’s Deja-vu all over again with the picture (seen above left) that is widely being used by media in stories about Matthew Crooks. The above image is his freshman high school picture. [SEE HERE] There are no recent or current pictures of 20-year-old Crooks taken by friends, family, or in this era, selfies? And the picture on the left is the best image the media can come up with?
Compare that picture above to the screen grab of Thomas Matthew Crooks taken during the shooting.
The most recent photograph of him is something from High School, with a flag T-Shirt? Seriously?
This, optical narrative control has serious Trayvon Martin vibes to it.
For those who do not know, below is the picture of Trayvon Martin that was used to set the “if I had a son” narrative, as advanced by President Barack Obama. However, on the right is a selfie taken by 17-year-old Trayvon Martin the week he encountered George Zimmerman.
I detect a similarity between the imagery of Thomas Crooks presented by media, in comparison to what we can seemingly identify from the blurry images of him as he carried out his assassination attempt. Someone inside a silo is intent on establishing a very specific narrative.
In the days, weeks and months after the Trayvon, Mike Brown (Big Mike) and Freddie Gray constructs, we were able to dig deep and discover the reality hidden by media pretense. However, just as DHS began controlling the content on social media, the people within the Deep State silos modified and organized in the years that followed the Trayvon fraud.
The issue seems small but looms large because the ramifications of control over the identity of Thomas Matthew Crooks. If this much exhaustive effort is put into concealing his footprint, it only makes the sketchy outcomes of his activity seem that much more nefarious.
If Crooks is what government silos claim he is, then there’s no reason to have such a strong level of control over his data footprint. Something isn’t right.
At this point, I’m not sure what it means, because the absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence.
As we learned in the months and years after the Trayvon Martin shooting, there are little known agencies within government with capabilities to permanently control information. The Community Relations Service (CRS) within Main Justice is one such omnipotent agency.
It was the DOJ-CRS that took control over the Vegas shooter background and information. However, this is even another level stronger than that.
I do not expect the legislative branch to unpeel this issue because the legislative branch is subservient to the CRS; but it’s amazing how so many people just accept the absence of a 20-year-old’s social media footprint as just something that can, well, maybe, just happen. It doesn’t happen.

I’ve trained in long distance shooting both as a kid with my dad growing up and in the USMC…was expert rifleman every qualification…he was a rookie who did not properly adjust for wind. That was a rookie mistake. IF there was another shooter, they would not have missed. I was hitting the x ring at 500 yards with an M16 with iron sights….his shot was easy at that range.
Reports are that he was confronted by law enforcement, trained his weapon on them, LEO retreated, and then he turned back to quickly fire on the stage. Is it possible he wasn’t as dialed-in as he would have normally been?

Without data from a living Crooks in a database somewhere, all they have is a sample from a dead guy with nothing to match it to.

A professional interviewed states that there was a program in the UK where a covid shot recipient’s DNA was taken at the time of the jab. If that happened here, there is a database of the DNA of MANY available at the touch of a keyboard. Crooks had no ID on him, and they told media they ID’ed him based on his DNA (within an hour after shooting).
Witnesses say there were other shooter(s) on July 14. One was at water tower.
Did Crooks shoot at all? He was on lower part of an uphill roof slope. How can a good shot be made from a position where the gun would be pointed up?

Iron sights work well enough at that range for someone at least proficient with a rifle.
I’ve qualified expert a number of times on the M16/M4 with range targets as far as 300m, but I digress.
Agreed. At that range a scope might be more of a hindrance than a help, especially if it’s not perfectly zeroed.
Also, at that range a 5.56 bullet strike is going to be above the aiming point. He was probably aiming center of mass, not for a head shot. If he were aiming for a head shot, the bullet would have been high.
There’s a notable constraint on the timeline for the shots. He was just spotted by law enforcement and pointed his weapon at them, then to reposition immediately again to shoot at Trump.
I am thinking it’s possible he likely pulled his shot(s) to the left or right of President Trump in his haste.
Why would he aim for center of mass? Even my kids know Trump has plates.
It would have been one hell of a head shot had Trump not turned his head, though… at most, the shooter was at most only 2-3″ off target at just the right millisecond.
It ain’t that much higher at 130 meters. About 1-2″ at most. Battle sight zero is or was 250 on a M16.
Aim at the ear, might be just above the ear.

You must have been well trained. Are you suggesting the shooter was similarly trained with iron sights?
A trainee going through basic would be proficient enough to do that with lesser marksmanship at least some of the time. That is not a high bar.
It is plausible enough this one could have made those shots with only some practice which is the point.
Here we have a plausible shots made by a gunmen who could have made those shots.
The other details in this simply don’t jive with all the evidence. Unless you want to believe what is being said by the media then dig no further for the truth. This is all about the appearance of something this is not entirely real.
Does the AR-15’s have the same sight configuration as an M-16, which they were modeled after? THAT’S what I’d like to know. If so, and I don’t think they are, they would be a puzzlement to anyone not trained in how to set/zero them. At any rate, an AR-15 is a poor choice for sniper work. We were told that the 16 was designed mostly for “quick kill” shooting (a method taught by the military as far back as WW II that I’m certain of), where you don’t have time to aim, just throw it up, point and shoot. Any large caliber hunting rifle would have been a better choice.
The M16 was derived from the semi-automatic AR-15. So yes some of those original features carried over with the conversion to a select-fire rifle.
I just know that the typical .223/5.56 cartridge is not ideal for a sniper at range.

ARs are semi automatic versions of M16s. They are deadly accurate.
The open sight is the same for both weapons, rear aperture, front post. However, this weapon had a scope.
It was designed for multiple uses, not just “quick kill” which is nothing ever heard of military circles. It is a premier military assault rifle or the military would not have been using it for 60+ years, and was designed for making multiple shots before having to reload (20-30 rounds per magazine vs 8 for the M1 of WWII) and yet remain relatively light in weight when fully loaded, and have full auto selection that was later modified to 3 round burst selection.
It was sighted in no matter which sight was used or he would not have even been close to the target.
The M16 was introduced in Vietnam 20 years after WWII, not WWII, and has been improved in every variation since then.
R F…: The rifle appeared to be a flat-top AR; no carry handle. The photo quality is poor. Really hard to see details.
There are removable flip-up iron sights made for the flat tops. Some are usable with red dots and the like. But this is getting out into the weeds.

I saw some interview of a kid claiming to have gone to school with. He said Crooks was bullied relentlessly & on a daily basis. Asked why, he said he guessed b/c of his appearance.
But when asked for specific examples of things said or done to him… he couldn’t recall any, only that he sat alone at lunch.

I was watching CNN’s livestream on Youtube Saturday night when they said they had already contacted his father and his father was shocked, had no idea what was going on, and would not be speaking with them until he talked to law enforcement. I remember thinking it was weird later, when another feed announced when SWAT arrived at their house. There was between half an hour to an hour difference between them announcing the call and the SWAT arrival.
I’ve read, somewhere or another, that when the parents heard about the shooting on TV, that the father immediately called the police.
I’ve been waiting for further details on this peculiar tidbit, but either what I read was incorrect, very possible, …… or else they are withholding all details until the investigation concludes

I read that the young shooter was identified through his DNA only a few hrs after the shooting. How was a match achieved so quickly? Was his DNA record already contained in a database somewhere? If so why? Who supplied the sample? His doctor, dentist, the Red Cross from a blood donation? How long does it take to perform an accurate DNA test?
Way too tidy to be believable. A “gamer” with no digital footprint? Were all the members of his online team/guild/group agents? Perhaps so.
Isn’t there a way to find him on social media from comments he made to others, replies to others, posts he liked/disliked, even his name mentioned by others?
There must be people who are savvy in computers who can find him somewhere.
Or does that all get erased when his profiles are deleted?
What about his family, friends and classmates who may have taken a picture or video of him? They must have something.

So true. At the first press conference, we were told that while they had identified the suspect, they did not want to release the name until they were sure. My first thought was that meant they had not quite finished scrubbing his social media. But now, we are to believe that he had no social media presence. Today we are told by Cheatle that the slope on the roof was unsafe for Secret Service Agents. My first thought was that was the most idiotic statement I have ever heard. Then I started thinking it was such a stupid statement that maybe the purpose of her statement was to help the narrative along of gross incompetence to take our eyes off the very real potential of an inside operation. It isn’t working.

Yet today we’re hearing that the shooters father called 9-1-1 shortly after the shooting to report his son & weapon were gone. This would’ve made the shooters identity known to LE within a couple of hours tops. So why the information desert for so long unless you were sterilizing his footprint?!

Remember how the bleachers were set up? Left side, center and right side. Corey, the innocent man was sitting near the top, most likely far right middle on those bleachers to President Trumps right.

A big red flag for me was/is the confusion about the identity.
Yes, it is usual for initial reports to identify the wrong suspect. Yes, it usually takes some hours to get the correct name and photos out.
But in this instance the confusion lasted for nearly 24 hours. The name, age, and photos of the suspect changed wildly. And the shooter was misidentified multiple times, something which I do not recall happening in recent years.
It is very, very unusual for that level of confusion to last for that long, especially considering the shooter was dead and his body was in custody. The whole thing just seems off to me.
