Once again, the President has refused to take a single question after his latest remarks. The President is certainly right to say that we should not make assumptions about the shooter’s motivations. However, there remains a lack of self-criticism for his own rage rhetoric…
…This environment has become a tinderbox due to such reckless rhetoric. If the President wants to unify the nation, he could start by answering questions from the nation about the poisonous political environment…and his own contribution to it.

As the old saying goes- “you knew he was lying because his lips were moving”, even though Biden’s lip movements result in slurring.

I think the “end story” detail that destroys the Secret Service in this attempt on Trump is the fact that the “rules of engagement” were set requiring the shooter to take the first shot?!
This is more of the same “policing” that has destroyed so many Democrat run cities. It’s INTENDED to lose. It’s INTENDED to Demoralize the people.
And I cite this as the most significant evidence of what went wrong that the secret service will not attempt to deny. We know all of the other things and they are at least equally damning but it’s all “fog of war” stuff. But a “bad guy shoots first” policy when defending a president?!? That’s beyond insane and very condemning on its own with no additional information needed.
Look, we know they like to pretend all of these things “just happen.” Especially all of the one-sided political violence, the looting and burning. But it is the executive branch activists who set the conditions for all of these things to occur. All they have to do is announce “we will not prosecute…” and the hordes will flood the area in a very short time. I believe there is coordination but we don’t need to prove it. We only need to show they set the conditions for exactly the things that happen. They did all of that then. And they did all of that the other day with Trump’s life.
Yes, Biden has “the sadness” after his failed attempt. Even he knows he cannot come back from this and this will have doomed the entire Democratic party along with him because NO ONE is buying any of this.
