An eyewitness gave a statement to BBC news, very angry about why nothing was done by secret service to secure a specific area.
The eyewitness describes watching the shooter carry a long rifle onto a barn roof. The eyewitness alerted police; no immediate action was taken. The eyewitness grew frustrated with police and secret service. The eyewitness saw the gunman prepare in position for 2 to 3 minutes before shooting 5 shots at President Donald Trump. The eyewitness saw law enforcement then engage and kill the shooter.

This appears to be just the right amount of competence by the shooter, enough to get the job done but not so overwhelming that there would be no doubt about a conspiracy.
A 200 yard hit with a 22 rifle is no mean feat. Being able to clamber up and fire accurate rounds within a couple minutes. Seems like there would have been a prior scope out of the position.
But there was no tripod (?), no silencer, and it wasn’t a military grade sniper caliber. Evidently no exit plan. Wasn’t already in place long before.

FBI and most cops are notoriously poor shots. Whoever was the assasin had to be somewhat competent yet too stupid to realize the exit plan for him was immediate death. We will never know for sure who that person was.
If it is a 22-250 you can reach out from a long ways away and a suppressor will hush it significantly.
The exit plan for the assasin was a bullet in the head, a few seconds after the assassin quit shooting and Trump was down.
I’m just an average guy, not a security expert, but if someone put me in charge of the president’s safety at an event like this, one thing I’d definitely do would be to have any building and rooftop within rifle range that had a line of sight to the president guarded. I find it suspicious that this evidently wasn’t done.
Or even drones overhead patrolling these buildings in real time.
Biden’s DHS refused Trump extra money and help for protection despite his SS asking for it.
No doubt Trump does not have enough security, but securing the roof tops was the priority. There was a SS sniper immediately behind Trump with his rifle on a tripod aimed at the assasin. The SS agent gave the shooter time for several shots before eliminating him. The SS knew exactly where the hired hit man was positioned. The SS agent undoubtedly had an ear piece and given the order to shoot when the coordinator deemed Trump was down.
I think this plan was hatched a while back and I connect it to why Biden staunchly refused to quit in spite of how badly his debate and interviews turned out. Biden knew what the IC were going to do. Biden is again (Afghanistan withdrawal) and again ( President Trump assassination attempt) at the very least an accessary to attempted murder. It is what it is!

I have been to a couple of Trump’s rallies and the July 4th Event in DC. I can tell you that the security was on high detail at each especially in D.C. on July 4. There were SS snipers on the rooftops all around that day. We saw them. We were also next to someone who had all kinds of equipment and was using a telescope like instrument scanning the crowd every five minutes taking pictures. He also knew a lot of information about the security there and pointed out all of the locations of the snipers. He gave us an arial picture of the crowd to keep.
My first thought was why was there not someone on every rooftop at this rally? Someone dropped the ball big time and should be fired.
Even a state trooper or sheriffs deputy???
How did the shooter know that the roof was unguarded???.
When did the shooter get into position at the perfect building, knowing there was no security present, before the crowds arrived to be able to just crawl onto roof?
Personally, I was looking around for “proactive” at the event videos. Their is not much- being reactive is not acceptable – the SS, are not prepared. A good citizen, running to stop, or possibly taking a warning shot at the perp, would have been the one to die. What I want to know is every zit and mark, race, age, DEI experience and all of the credit cards on the deceased.

The Secret Service will have a lot to answer for in the aftermath of this assassination attempt. If you see the sniper’s position, it’s a clean shot on Trump’s podium. That should have been blocked off before the rally ever began.
It’s very possible the wind and heat sheer off a hot roof which the shooter didn’t account for is the only reason Trump survived the assassination attempt.

How did the shooter gain access the business building – considering the business likely shut down early for the rally?
