CNN’s Jake Tapper on Thursday called out independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over a new campaign ad featuring an out-of-context comment from the anchor.
The spot is “so misleading and deceptive it should be taken down at once,” Tapper urged on X, formerly Twitter.

Hundreds of millions of gallons of water in Lake Shasta and other major reservoirs in northern California have been disappearing into thin air. Higher evaporation levels are expected during the summer.
The issue of fresh water evaporation has been studied for many years. In 2015, the University of Colorado published a report noting water loss on reservoirs throughout the West.
While covering reservoirs such as Lake Shasta might not seem feasible, some have considered such proposals. During the 2015 drought, the city of Los Angeles experimented with reducing evaporation by covering reservoirs with plastic balls to reduce the heat over the water.

Polls are not worth the paper or “1s” & “0s” (digital) they are written on. The latest NPR/PBS/Marist poll, a usual left leaning poll, has FJB at 50% and DJT at 48%, well within the 3% statistical margin of error. This poll was of 1309 US adults. That’s all the description of those polled that was listed. So FJB was chosen by 655 US adults, DJT had 628 and undecided had 26. In that same poll, 64% of those polled (I assume the same 1309 people) said FJB does NOT have the mental acuity to hold the job, which is 838 people, or 183 people more than would select FJB for the job. How does this happen? I guess those people would have no issue with voting for a walking cadaver. That’s crazy! And they (Dems) talk about losing our Democracy. They are very unserious people!
I am hearing a lot of voices on this blog talking a “swinging to the middle” strategy and proposing all kinds of rinos and even dims as possible President Trump VP picks or cabinet picks.
