If the president tells SEAL Team 6 to kill his opponent, he will be impeached, removed from office, arrested, and imprisoned for life. His official duties do not including killing his opponent.

How quickly the left have forgotten the significance of today, July 11th.
Today was the day that Judge Merchan was to have sentenced President Trump and possibly sent him to prison.
The SCOTUS July 1 Immunity decision put a stop to that and Merchan moved the date all the way up to September 18th, with the proviso “if it’s still necessary”.
Instead, on this day we now have Biden holding on for dear life, after he and his administration’s Lawfare did everything they could to stop President Trump.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
