The bold-italic phrase is a bit of a problem now that the SCOTUS has shot down the Chevron thingy. The opinions of selected (unelected) federal agencies no longer MATTER. All things which deprive people of their rights require DUE PROCESS and those acts must be carried out by parties accountable to elected officials.
So…. there’s that among so many other new freedoms this SCOTUS ruling has created. EPA? Afuera! ATF? Afuera! The IRS? Afuera!!
The fact that so many government agencies have enjoyed powers without recourse or appeals for so long? THIS is partially how “THE DEEP STATE” is defined. And the CIA and other intel groups are ALSO affected by this SCOTUS ruling.
The SCOTUS just set the stage for the biggest draining of the swamp we’ve ever seen or believed to be impossible.

To me, the Chevron ruling is just the tip of the iceberg, of applying FEDERALISM, to cut WAY back on the powers and authorities the Federal Government has expropriated to itself, that are without any Constitutional basis, but that since the States and We, the People have not pushed back, have led to our out of control, way too big for its britches Federal Government.
I have posted comments about this before, and I believe an ESSENTIAL aspect of MAGA will be US getting at LEAST one State with a truly MAGA Gov., AG, and State legislature majority, in order to complement what PDJT is doing “from the top, down” with an attack “from the bottom, up” to reign in the Fed. gov.
Frankly, there are so many areas where the Fed. Agencies have engaged in blatant, unconstitutional overreach, that you hardly need to aim.
And, any State Challenge of Fed authority gets fast tracked to SCOTUS, any favorable decision automatically applies nationwide, and despite all of the SCOTUS bashing, both recent and long term history indicates WHEN the States actually “push back” they tend to prevail, to the point that the Federal agencies often bluster but then back down; because they KNOW they have no Constitutional authority.
Not only this Chevron case, but the EPA case a couple of years ago are recent examples of what usually happens; the State prevails.
WE, the People just need to focus on getting real MAGA State Governors, SoS’s, A.G.’s and supportive legislatures, to make the case.
Continue the work to purge the RINORATS from our State R parties, and do NOT let up.

As soon as the “special grand jury” (whatever that made up BS is) was enpanelled, Kemp ‘appointed’ McAfee as a judge.
Just months later and after the real grand jury was enpanelled to bring formal charged against Trump in Georgia, McAfee mysteriously is selected as the judge for the trial (just months after even becoming a judge).
He accomplished all of these feats before the age of 35 and less than 10 years out of law school. 👀

I hope the F-35 would not be the fallback aircraft. Only 27% are fully operational at any given time. The government has contracted with the manufacturer for maintenance on a proprietary basis. That’s right — when an F-35 needs specific maintenance but the Lockheed Martin technician is thousands of miles away, the airplane is out of commission until the contract repairman and the airplane can meet up in the same place.
This is the same practice that John Deere tried to impose on their customers. Deere was sued and lost except for control of their proprietary software. I guess suing the DoD for abject failure in this area of their fiduciary duties would not be a possibility.
This is a further blow to young people who join the military for the purpose of getting training and job skills that can lead to meaningful employment in the aviation industry.

There is NO MECHANISM for insuring or forcing the political parties to obey or conform to their own rules.
In fact, numerous court cases litigated over many years have established just the opposite, as precedence.
The Courts take the view that their is a stark line dividing LEGAL and POLITICAL, that the Courts will NOT cross.
Essentially, saying if a political party violates its own rules, betraying it’s constituency (party base/members) the resolution is for the base to leave or withdraw it’s support, rather than for the Courts to force the party to follow its own rules.
Point being, both wings of the Uniparty have regularly ignored their own rules, most often to “cheat” during the primary process and when the primary victim of such cheating has sued, and offered clear, convincing evidence of the parties cheating, the Courts have never the less refused to overturn the primary results.
In the Court of Public Opinion is, however a different matter. The Dem party took a major “hit” when it pushed Hillary aside for Barach, with its “Superdelegates” ploy, and again when it pushed aside Bernie for Hillary.

Houston is in a tropical weather zone. It is not a surprise that hurricanes will strike the area.
I lived in one of those zones — specifically, NW FL — for 20 years. Historically the area where I resided was hit by a strong Tropical Storm or Cat 1 hurricane every year or two. Historically-speaking about every ten years the area got hit by a nasty hurricane, defined as Strong 2 or better, frequently Cat 3s.

As a result efficiency does not help their bottom line since increasing operating margin by being more efficient (better) means the state forces you to lower premiums. They are thus intentionally inefficient to whatever level they can get away with.
The only way to grow as an insurer due to this is to have more claims or have more-expensive claims.

If you want to know why the Federal Government is going bankrupt and intentionally creating a roughly 6% monetary inflation rate which has not declined at all since the pandemic you need only look for instances like this. This is just one and there almost-certainly thousands, but if you shut down the scams all the people who get paychecks from said scams become unemployed, including a crap-ton of government workers.
And spare me the bullshit about how doctors, nurses or both aren’t involved in and profiting from this, or that its just “a few bad apples.” How many nurses do these insurance companies employ? Thousands, and worse they know other nurses and doctors and nobody is blowing the whistle on it either so every one of them should be tagged with joint and several liability for all of it as the only reason a huge number of them are employed at all is these scams.
Think that’s new? How many nurses stuffed tubes down covid patient’s throats? Plenty. How many times do you need to do that and watch the person die before its obvious to you that the “treatment” is worthless and might be killing the person? Now how many blew the whistle and said “I ain’t doing that and if you keep that crap up I’m going to do what I can to make sure you go to prison!” instead of, at in the case of travel nurses, raking in a huge amount of money?

Turkish Airlines office closed in Iran over hijab violation – media
Police have reportedly shut the location after its employees defied the country’s Islamic headscarf law
Iranian police have shut down the office of Turkish Airlines in Tehran after local female employees refused to comply with Iran’s hijab law, the country’s media reported on Tuesday.
Officers reportedly visited the airline on Monday to deliver their first warning over “non-observance of hijab,” the Islamic headscarf which is mandatory for women in Iran.
However, the employees “made trouble for the police officers” by refusing to wear hijab, prompting the closure of the office, according to Tasnim news agency.
The sealed Turkish Airlines premises might reopen on Wednesday, the media said, but police have not confirmed the information. According to Turkish media, Turkish Airlines did not immediately comment on the incident.
The hijab became compulsory for women in Iran following the 1979 revolution. Women who do not wear a headscarf or are deemed to be wearing it improperly can face fines or imprisonment. Last year, Iranian MPs pushed for stricter punishments for violations of Tehran’s religious dress code, including prison sentences of up to a decade for those involved in organized protests against the law.
In 2022, the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, while in the custody of Iran’s ‘morality police’ after being accused of breaking the hijab mandate sparked months of violent protests across Iran, resulting in thousands of arrests.
