Spoiler alert. That might be my $20 (inflation!) word for a rant. And open season, nothing is off limits guys. Whatever’s on your mind.
I will start with truth. After a few things I’ve observed lately, let’s start with the basics. Apparently people on both sides need a primer.

I found something worth a little thought from Webster’s 1913 online.
1. The quality or being true; as: — (a) Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been; or shall be.
It also goes on to expand the meaning of truth, and I’d like to come back to that later.
Fidelity; constancy; steadfastness; faithfulness.
There is truth, and it isn’t fungible. In the real world, we don’t have my truth and your truth. An orange is an orange and a man is a man. Vows are vows, and you don’t get to interpret them after the fact. If you make a commitment, pledge a vow, sign a contract, then you go into knowing and accepting the reality as is, not as you think it should be.
Everyone who has been married understands that we all bit off more than we thought, and reality is different from romance. Most of us buckle down, put in the work, and deal with that, with varying degrees of success.
But suppose your spouse decides they don’t like fidelity and want an open marriage. Nope. Not what you pledged. Suppose your husband decides he wants to be your wife. Again, no.
Those are the easy ones. Let’s do harder. Suppose you work at a low paying job, your boss is abusive, and you are really in desperate straits financially. You begin to take small amounts from the cash register, never really missed, and after all, you are underpaid, and asked to work off the clock.
Again, no. It is a truth that theft is wrong. A truth that is not subject to your interpretation.
I have had people I really do not like offer me good counsel, telling me things that might be difficult to take, especially from them. Some of them had my best interests at heart, and some of them had their own best interests at heart, but helping me in some way suited that interest. My feelings about them, and about whatever difficult truth I was being challenged to face didn’t change facts.
I like this person, it’s easier to agree with their course of action. I hate this one, therefore every thing they do is wrong. Not valid, nor is it productive.
Moving on.
Every American, right, left, Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative, really ought to unite in digging through muck and filth and coverup for answers about why the government has been run by proxy, and who is running it.
And yeah, for us, we saw this way back, before Obama even, but let’s just deal with today and the “wink,wink” crowd who just got outraged. Okay, man up, own it, walk back from the brink and fix things.
I can’t calculate that infinitesimal percentage of chance.
For the love of little green apples, climate cultists, EVs are not immaculately conceived. They get here by way of petroleum based manufacturing. But before that, look into lithium mining. The process, the human labor, the precious CO2 emissions in the process, water used. You know, stuff.
Why aren’t parents trustworthy enough to teach reading, writing, and math to their own kids at home, but they know enough medicine and psychology to “understand” that their non verbal 18 month old baby is transgender?
And may I return, yet again, to one of my perennial questions.
Young ladies, why would you enter into a relationship with a man who is more effeminate than you, wears more jewelry, styles his hair, and, Great Aunt Gertie’s garters, wears skinny jeans. No man belongs in skinny jeans. And have you seen the suit pants men wear now? I don’t want them to look like leggings, and I don’t want to see your socks.
Someday life is going to slam you with a level 5 tornado you didn’t see coming, and man bun skinny jeans boys will fold and buckle.
If you’re using buttermilk, it should never be low-fat.

Oh yeah, big add. Okay, I consider liberals stupid, to say the least. But pass the popcorn. They finally have to own up, on the international stage, no less, to poor decision making and irresponsible, dangerous actions having unavoidable repercussions. Even for them, epic stupid.
I was never able to find truth while looking for it through rose colored glasses. Truth cannot be found until it is revealed. Somewhere, SomeOne said something about possessing ‘eyes that can see and ears that can hear’.
That “someone” is Jesus!
Yup, that’s why I said, ‘SomeOne’.
That would be Jesus Christ Who is the Truth and came to bear witness to the truth.
According to the Bible, the god of this world, Satan, has the power to blind the minds of unbelievers, preventing them from seeing the light of the gospel of Christ. This is mentioned in 2 Corinthians 4:4, which states: “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
This blinding of the mind is not just a physical phenomenon, but a spiritual one.
In today’s world the only truth I believe in is what makes common sense to me, what I see with my own eyes, and my Lord Jesus.

Is your front door sheltered under a porch or some sort of overhang? Birds prefer to not have wet nests when possible. Some varieties have a stronger drive toward this than others. I had a hanging planter on my front porch in the country that every year little warbles insisted on building a nest in amongst my flowers. We always waited for them to raise their babies before we removed it.
Likewise, on our large covered patio every year barn swallows returned to their mud nest in the corner by our back door. They would raise two sets of babies and while we had the inconvenience of their mess on the patio, there was also the joy of watching God’s beautiful creatures as they fledged and began their lives of aerial acrobatics, racing through the sky devouring the flying varmints that plagued us. Mosquitoes were never a problem in our back yard.

And yeah, Barn Swallows got their name from nesting in barns, Chimney Swifts from nesting in chimneys, House Sparrows from nesting on houses, etc.
We were always amused that the birds chose to nest by our front and back doors, yet were always offended when we used said doors to exit and enter. They would fly away to distract us from the nests, and sit on a tree branch chattering at us. I always imagined they were indignantly lecturing us on the nerve we had to disturb them! I miss it. But we now live in a city close to our grandchildren who are great compensations for what we left behind.
Kinda gives meaning to “when one door closes, another opens” on a whole nother one or two levels. Being near close family is a blessing indeed! 🙂
Just the other day, I was able to get my front porch back. We had two broods that were hatched and raised just outside my front door.

I get it!! Same here! We had the cicadas and the birds camping out on our front and back porches. Thankfully, the cicadas have departed!! Birds… eh, not so much😉.
Lol, I wonder that myself. This spring we had a robin’s nest at one end of the front porch with 3 babies, and a wren’s nest at the other. The robins kept attacking the wrens until they abandoned the nest. It was sad since the little wrens had been nesting there over the past 3 years. Last year the robins nested on top of our back porch light. It’s beside the back door in front of the kitchen window. They weren’t happy at all at being constantly disturbed by our dogs in and out the doggy door or us humans goggling at them thru the window. They stayed though to raise two sets of babies, 7 altogether. We are surrounded by trees on all sides along with hedges and bushes and the chose our porches!

Rain was in the forecast, so I heard the first neighborhood firework go off about an hour before sunset. Yes, in broad daylight.
It rained briefly, then the clouds parted near sunset. For at least the next two hours, it sounded like a war zone. Which was great! The fireworks going off were constant. And every firework that exploded spoke of a patriotic American whose spirits won’t be dampened. From my window vantage point, I could see fireworks going all up and down the tree line, from multiple locations. In some cases, the trees were blocking my view but hey, I’m a Treeper so it’s all good.
I can imagine the neighborhood dogs weren’t too thrilled by the noise.
Anyways, they say my area in Ohio isn’t the reddest. I say, give us a free and fair election, and bring all my fireworks-loving neighbors to the polls, and we’ll re-elect President Trump in a skyslide … er, landslide! 🙂

Northeast Oh used to be heavy union territory until the auto industry closed all those parts factories. Trump tried to get industry back in there, but I don’t know what the area is like now.
The fireworks have just terrorized my dog. So much so, she vomited all of her days’ food on my bed just as I was wanting to sleep. My entire neighborhood is full of chuckle heads.
There are definitely still liberal-heavy elements in place in Northeast Ohio … once in a while, you can still see someone wearing a mask, and in at least one case doing so consistently, all year long.
And that said, during the last presidential election, the line to get in to vote was a two-hour wait all day long, … something not seen before. And afterwards, there were a good number of people who would turn out for regular “Stop the Steal” peaceful protests … until J6 happened. Afterwards, when Oliver Anthony’s song came out, there was a day I was driving down the street with the windows open and heard “Rich Men North of Richmond” blaring at full blast from two different vehicles, minutes apart, with one young guy loudly singing along.

I can watch from afar all the fireworks from adjoining communities from my windows in my house. Why 50- year old men in my neighborhood have to set off God knows what at 2:30 AM is beyond me!

Fireworks here tend to start at the end of June and go until people run out around mid July. Last night for example someone put on quite a display from 10 PM until midnight. Then they stock up again to ring in the New Year at midnight January 1.
At least this year my closest neighbor was not setting off fireworks that were drifting my way and literally exploding a few feet in front of my face! Now that was different … and that said, I still personally overall enjoy fireworks since they bring me hope for the country.
(And I still get a child-like kick out of seeing them! Always been a fan of Gandalf the Grey from Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “Lord of the Rings” and the grand fireworks display at the Party Tree in the Shire …) 🙂 So I suppose we differ in that way …
Tolkien’s books are fantastic reads. I have read them several times (more than I care to enumerate).
When Peter Jackson undertook the huge task of transforming the books into film, I had great expectations. However, about ten minutes into the first film, the story line was completely changed. I had such a negative reaction in the theater that I’m afraid I embarrassed my wife with my protestations.
I admit, I watched the movies and they were well done, except for the omissions, deviations and additions which were not in the books.
By shear happenstance, I discovered an audio soundscape of the books. I downloaded them to my phone and listen to them while driving. I travel 10 to 12 hours at a time down to Texas to see clients. They are greatly entertaining and have several very good voice actors, sound effects and a great musical score (sometimes borrowing from the films). As far as I can tell, they are faithful to the books, word by word.
This was evidently a labor of great love produced and directed by Phil Dragash, and to him I am profoundly grateful. I found them on Archive.org which is an internet archive site.
I also found Librevox at the same site, which is a free audio book site that has many books that are read by various volunteers. The books are all in the public domain. I have downloaded many books and enjoyed listening to them while taking my long trips to Texas.

My biggest disappointment in the films was the actress they selected for Galadriel. And it sure would have been cool to see Tom Bombadil … providing they could find a decent actor to portray him!

My neighbors to the north, south, east and west of my new home in an unincorporated part of the county provided me with free fireworks. Last year there were some, this year there was an abundance and more flags out. It was glorious.
One of the neighbors on my block was doing a light show in the street for his children, my son did that last year. So, I took my 7 month old puppy out to see how she would react to the show, she was not happy about all the kabooms. She was eager to check out the light show, in fact too eager. I had to keep her further away than she liked because sometimes those sparks fly many feet. She loved it all.

But, anybody, democrat or republican, who was awakened by the debate, should be outraged. Their world should have collapsed. To know the man who was installed is running nothing, who the heck is? That the democrats are ok with unelected people running the country and still voting in lockstep means they ALL need to go. No newly awakened republicans are sounding any alarms either. WE THE PEOPLE need to know what the heck happened to put us in this mess. It didn’t just happen recently. Get the popcorn ready. Summer should be interesting.

Which, in case you didn’t know, is just as valid an opinion.” To say she was shocked (as was everyone else in the car) is an understatement. That was somewhere in the 80’s. So, I’ve merrily marched on always speaking truth (in love, of course!), which, funnily enough, ALWAYS inflames those who don’t.

We will not be able to come together to fix the ‘mess’ until everyone understands and accepts the fact that Biden did not get 81M votes. He got 81M BALLOTS — maybe — but he did not get 81M VOTES. The 2020 election was rigged.
Not everyone – because that will be impossible – but a significant majority, given the magnitude and depth of corruption across both the federal and most state governments.
Remember it only took the support of about 10% of the population of the 13 colonies (about 2.5 M with 1/2 M being slaves) in the latter 18th century to defeat the British army in the war of independence.

It used to be if someone gave you their word, you could count on it!

It’s important for me to always keep my word – even if it hurts. I take it seriously.
That’s why it hurts when others freely say things, and later forget about it.
It is true that kindness is rarely the wrong choice. The axiom that no good deed goes unpunished is overused and usually not true. The good that kindness does for the one performing the kind deed cannot be understated. It is good for the soul.
Whether God created man (as most believe) or man created God (a belief held by the cynical) it is true that society needs God to function in a just and moral fashion.
Perfection is not attainable for mankind. Pursuing it will generate excellence, but an obsession with it will create insanity. Failure to pursue it will result in unhappiness and a tendency to vote Democrat.

I believe that one of the major issues in our society is that people think it is okay to “take”, to “steal”.

And one of my pet peeves is when a clerk gives someone too much change or mistakenly does not charge
for an item, one keeps it.
Example: I purchased online and received a coat from a major department store. The shipping box did not contain a packing
slip or invoice, the coat did not have a tag. I went online to see my account purchases and it showed that
it never shipped. I called customer service and they told me to keep the coat. I called the personal shopper who assisted
me with the purchase online and she said to keep the coat. I finally got the name of the store manager who told me
to come in, call him on his cell phone, and he would meet me at the register to handle the situation.
And, if you are a parent, always use opportunities like this to teach your kids.

In Georgia law stealing is defined as theft by taking. Simple yet truth.

Good for its part I guess in that it heads right into ‘the pretending’ as we’ve been using the term here, but seems to miss the center?
In my read of things, people don’t first decide that they’re the opposite sex, or that stealing is OK, and then proceed to a general acceptance of untruth.
They first interiorly decide that they don’t wish to abide in truth (or in Truth, with 100% correlation, more in a sec), and *then* flow from this ideas like being entitled to other people’s property, or that they can be a cat and not a person, or that the person growing in them is both not actually a person and completely disassociated from their own behavior choices.
This, at its root, is selfishness, which is pride, which of course puts us back to capital T Truth again. All of it comes back to self-will, non serviam. “I want to decide” what is right or wrong, whether I’m a boy or a girl or a dog, that what I don’t want to see doesn’t exist and what I imagine is.
Also, this is why arguing with leftists is so frustrating to normal people. All the mental gymnastics on their part is simply weaseling around what they really think and don’t want to say, because it sounds exactly like the toddler-speak it is — never mind reality, “I want.”
At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child – miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.

When there’s open acknowledgment that an events’s circumstances were not true to the point that it has to have a token response that it was a lie.
Even if the truth is reported it’s never done with the fervor the lie was spread.
Good examples:
Jussie Smollet being attacked, George Forman was choked to death, Biden has no cognitive issues, elections are not stolen all the time, and there was a January 6th insurrection, Covid vaccines benefit a person.
The truth is so elusive in the above examples that even as it becomes too obvious to continue to perpetuate the lies there’s still organized efforts to control/ stifle the information that media reports.
And as Truth is timeless, changeless, ever present omnipresence it is All the Truth there IS.

Because they’d have to get off their iPhone and do something physical. Also, in order to evaluate the drug, the threat, and trusting the government , etc, they’d have to think. Easier to let the government think for you. Therefore, you must never consider that the government might be wrong. Or evil.
Exactly – they are too busy looking at their phones instead of actually thinking. And not just the kids. I see plenty of so-called “adults” walking around with their phone in hand. God help them if they need two hands to do something. They are not putting that phone down for any reason.

They were protesting as thinly veiled communists. Their actions and the politicians they elected, Biden and Pelosi being two excellent examples, have damaged our nation immensely. Their selfish and cowardly world view has wrecked everything it touched. The children and grandchildren of that generation volunteered and fought the wars after, only to be defeated by the same sacks of excrement still in office 50 years later.
Kids do not and were not protesting against risk of death or injury. Kids do all sorts of things risking death or injury for fun.
They were protesting somebody making them do something they didn’t want to do. That’s it. Nothing more.
All the narrative about injury, death, immorality, politics, international law, world opinions etc. is/was merely rhetorical flourishes exploited to win sympathy from, or inspire shame in, their elders.

yes, fashion is so terrible these days, it is almost unbelievable. I do not pay attention to it, but never aspired to be a fashion plate to begin with. I married a good guy who was born and raised in Lansing Michigan, from a good Christian family. I am grateful.

According to Jay it got a Senator elected in Wisconsin by uncovering and confronting election officials with the fraud fractal computing was able to uncover.

Yeah, what is UP with these latest-style men’s suits? I see these things on websites and get men’s style emails. Just wow.
The men in the big cities are done. Finished. Zero chance for survival.
But some younger people are embracing certain traditional clothing styles and even used but gently-worn, high-end clothing that looks good. It’s great, too, because people are saving a ton of money this way, and there is a sort of cottage industry of used stylish clothing.
I follow some on social media and there is a big interest in traditional style clothing. Thank goodness.
Truth: We will soon see a new depth to demoRat control mechanics. They (it) will not sit pat while FJB crashes and burns. I cannot see how just yet, but my prediction is that it will take TWO rather obvious, in-your-face events to pull this off. The first one will only be the primer.
My guess is that it will involve the continued unleashing of blm/antifa types…riots not only in the cities but spreading into the formerly safe burbs. More extreme weather, grid down situations, and more social pressures around Nov. 5th to keep MAGA voters away from the polling places. We saw the voting machine “glitches” in 2020 in AZ…the plan worked so why not use that tactic again?

How historic and great would it be to have President Donald J. Trump in office for the 250th anniversary of our nation???

I’m sick and tired of hearing African-American from all the politicians and media because it’s a constant reminder to the Black communities that they’re still slaves.
I’m tired of all those so called constitutional lawyers who pretend to “Stand-up” for the rule of law when they can’t even admit that the 16th Amendment changed NOTHING in our tax system, it’s still 100% Constitutional and has always been considered an Excise Tax from the founding of this country.
I’m tired of people pretending to know the laws who’ve never even studied it, who don’t even know that when terms are defined in Law, those terms have specific meanings, even if they are identical to their common meanings.
I can’t prove what happened in Russia, Europe, Japan or even in the United States or any other country for that matter, to me, that’s all speculation. But what I can prove, is what happens in my house as I’m the one with personal knowledge.
My speculation is that the leftists/government cabal will NEVER let Trump take office again, no matter what, as reflected in these lines from “In need of a course correction”:

killing the so-called tyrant may be the ultimate play
for the so-called elite to keep their stranglehold on power
no matter the consequences, even if it leads to our darkest hour
