On the heels of his flub-filled Fourth of July, President Biden’s Friday appearances did nothing to reverse his humiliating march to a seemingly inevitable exit from the 2024 presidential campaign. The day brought more head-scratching misstatements and garbled lines on the campaign trail, along with a much-anticipated primetime ABC interview that prominent Democrats called “sad” and “chilling.”
Perhaps most significantly of all, however, more Democratic legislators called for Biden to leave the race — and Virginia Sen. Mark Warner is reportedly organizing a meeting building a united plea for Biden to quit.
According to anonymous sources cited by the Washington Post, Warner and allies are weighing various means of intervening, including a meeting at the White House with Biden. While the count of House Democrats who’ve urged Biden to quit climbed to four on Friday — as Illinois Rep. Mike Quiqley made his feelings known on MSNBC — no sitting senators have yet crossed that line. However, per the Washington Post:
There’s a growing consensus among Senate Democrats that the situation with Biden at the top of the ticket is untenable, and senators are trying to determine the best way to relay that message to an insulated president. Some senators don’t think Biden has people around him who are giving him an accurate picture of the fallout.
Tellingly, a Warner spokeswoman refused to confirm or deny the reports about his machinations, instead saying, “Like many other people in Washington and across the country, Senator Warner believes these are critical days for the president’s campaign, and he has made that clear to the White House.”
While Warner – the chair of the Senate intelligence committee -maneuvered, Biden spent the day in the battleground state of Wisconsin, which he officially won in the last election by only 20,682 votes. At a rally at a middle school gymnasium in Madison, Biden added to his ever-growing stack of gaffes, confidently predicting he’d beat Donald Trump “again in 2020”:
Friday’s main event was Biden’s sit-down interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. Though it was pre-recorded after his middle-school-gym rally before airing in a primetime special, ABC said it showed the entire interview without edits.
As we’d predicted, Stephanopoulos, who’s demonstrated all the worst tendencies of big-media leftists, played this interview relatively straight. He challenged Biden’s previous attempt to blame his debate performance on jet lag from travel that ended a dozen days before the event. He confronted Biden with pointed quotes from a New York Times report, where sources claimed his mental lapses have become more frequent. He also asked pointed follow-up questions when Biden was evasive.
At one point, however, Stephanopoulos sounded like an empathetic family member gently confronting an elderly person with the hard truth about their condition, telling Biden:
“I’ve heard from dozens of your supporters over the last few days…They love you, and they will be forever grateful to you for defeating Donald Trump in 2020. They think you’ve done a great job as president, a lot of the successes you outlined. But they are worried about you and the country. And they don’t think you can win. They want you to go with grace, and they will cheer you if you do.”
One of Biden’s worst moments of the interview came in response to what may have been the simplest question. Asked if he’d watched the debate afterwards, Biden said, “I don’t think I did, no.” Stephanopoulos’s follow-up question about when Biden realized the debate wasn’t going well triggered a particularly incoherent reply:
“The whole way I prepared, nobody’s fault mine. Nobody’s fault, mine. I, uh, prepared what I usually would do, sitting down as I did, come back with foreign leaders or National Security Council for explicit detail.
And I realized about partway through that, you know, I quoted The New York Times had me down 10 points before the debate, 9 now or whatever the hell it is. The fact of the matter is that what I looked at is that he also lied 28 times. I couldn’t, I mean, the way the debate ran, not — my fault, no one else’s fault — no one else’s fault.”

Someone who has lived in Ukraine for years (but not now) and speaks the language, and who is also a historian, totally lays the blame on Russia.
He says that Russia uses fear od invasion as an excuse, but has only been invaded once since the beginning of the 20th century, while invading other nations multiple times.

I have read much about The Russian Communists in the 1930’s starving c. 12 million Ukrainians to death.
One book quoted a Russian general after World War II shrugging at the Jewish Holocaust of 6 millions, saying basically that Stalin and Company had killed that many long ago and had even more waiting to die in Siberia.

So one can understand the historical background to a dislike of Russia in the Ukraine and elsewhere, e.g. Poland, Czechoslovakia, et al.

The Ukrainian People consider themselves Russians, speak the Russian language, and since the demise of the USSR, and in spite of what their politicians attempted to do, wanted to rejoin the Russia that they consider to be their “mother country”.

I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you only lived and worked in the ethnic Russian provinces of eastern Ukraine. The Soviets starved millions of native Ukrainians to death to move ethnic Russians into the eastern provinces of what was always ethnic Ukrainian lands.

Urkaine had their borders redrawn during Soviet rule.

He undoubtedly has Parkinson’s disease, and is increasingly suffering from Parkinson’s dementia. The signs are unmistakable:
-his shuffling gait
-the absence of associated movements (facial expression, arm swinging). When he does swing his arms, it appears stilted – probably because his handlers have told him to swing his arms when he walks. It’s something we all do naturally, but it goes away in Parkinson’s disease
-gait instability
-soft voice
-ON and OFF periods – times when the medication seems to be working well, and when it isn’t (also explains how a good dose of Sinemet times [sic timed?] right could get him more animated
-resting tremor is not prominent in Biden’s case, but this is true of many cases of Parkinsonism
His physicians UNDOUBTEDLY know this, and it is unconscionable that we do not know this about his health record. I understand HIPAA issues, but this is worse than the Roosevelt secret – he couldn’t walk. At least he had his mind about him! For me as a brain specialist, it was concerning to watch President Joe Biden, and it quickly became clear that I was not alone in my reaction. Over the past week, I received more than a dozen calls, texts and emails from medical colleagues who, like me, specialize in the brain. It wasn’t that what we noticed was necessarily new but that it was particularly pronounced, and right from the start of the debate.

There are times in all of our lives when we see things we wish we hadn’t. It could be a text, sent or received by a loved one, that reveals a secret. It could be a bill or bank statement, left out at a friend’s house, that tells a different financial story than what you thought you knew about your friend. It could be a shitty test result, confirming something you’d previously been able to deny.
Or it could be last Thursday’s presidential debate, which revealed that President Biden is indeed an old man who appears to be in no condition to be running this country, even now—not to mention in another four years.
The debate was shocking, upsetting, nearly impossible to watch. Based on my anecdotal research, lots of folks turned it off after 10 minutes, unable to witness the humiliating performance by our current president. Others held out hope it would turn around in real time, that Biden’s jaw would be vacuumed shut again, eyes refocused. Still more of us had the sinking, correct assumption: This would not come to pass. We knew what was happening. We were watching the president of the United States, un-teleprompted, fail in a spectacularly human way in front of us. He was not OK. Which meant the impending presidential election was more like an impending disaster.
But even worse than those unbearable 90 minutes has been the spin that followed. Democratic operatives and Biden’s friends in high places came to his defense; Barack Obama himself brushed off the president’s dismal performance, posting on Twitter that “bad debate nights happen.” C’mon. Yes, a bad debate night happened to Obama when he was running again in 2012. A bad debate night is not what happened last week.
Pushing this line is offensive, and contemptuous of the American voting public. [LOL! So what’s new for the Dimocrats and considering they managed to get this senile clown into the WH, who can blame them for their impression of the public? – W]

For most of us, we saw nothing new, just the same old Biden. I’m torn at times on the humiliation part as I’m 86 and having some of the same issues as Biden, just not nearly as bad yet. If his family really cared about him, they would tell him the truth. IMO they should be charged with elder abuse. The same goes for our Fake Media that has hidden all this from people.
My complaints with Biden are the insane liberal left politics that he has had all his life, and should never have been president. His medical condition and his politics were taken advantage of by those who operated the strings they attached to him. Those are the ones that will get the day of reckoning that they deserve!

My observations, based on the suffering of close family members and friends, is that discernible decline can be observed over a period of 4 weeks. Those suffering from the condition never recover and the progression never stops. They have an occasional “good day.”
If Joe Biden remains as the candidate, his dementia will be worse in the coming months. The Democrats well-developed election cheating skills will probably not be able to prevent losses at all levels. If they do successfully steal this election, Harris will inevitably become the President.

“Mr. Grosse said he was so upset by the episode that he confronted his commander. He said he spoke to The New York Times after what he regarded as unwarranted killings continued. It is highly unusual for a soldier to speak publicly about battlefield conduct, particularly involving men whom he still considers friends.”
The Chosen Company is one of the best-known units of international troops – a.k.a. mercenaries – fighting for Ukraine.
“In a second episode, a Chosen member lobbed a grenade at and killed a surrendering Russian soldier who had his hands raised, video footage reviewed by The Times shows. The Ukrainian military released video of the episode to showcase its battlefield prowess, but it edited out the surrender.

The Geneva Conventions clearly forbid the killing of prisoners of war. Combatants that surrender cannot be attacked and must be safely taken into custody.
According to the German medic, a Greek soldier known as Zeus was at the center of all three episodes.
Retired U.S. Army National Guardsman from Iowa, Ryan O’Leary is the ‘de facto’ commander of Chosen Company.
O’Leary denies that members had committed war crimes.
“Soon after The Times began asking questions, Mr. O’Leary vowed to find out who was speaking to journalists. ‘Some stuff the reporter brought up was only known by a few people’, he wrote in a group chat. ‘But we will cast a wide net regardless to snare the rabbit’.”
Grosse has said that the ‘recruiter’ that sent him to Ukraine told him that it was OK to kill P.O.W.s ‘if they didn’t surrender in the strictest Geneva Convention standards’.

The Diagnosis is In, and Joe’s Not Going to Get Well

Many moons ago, while conservative pundits were blaming Sleepy Joe’s odd behavior on his brain aneurysm surgeries, I said, “No.” All we can clearly see is a narcissistic sociopath with a mixed pattern dementia in the early stages. Prefrontal dementia seemed to explain his hair sniffing and bursts of anger. Since I have not examined the Occupant of 1600 and am a real doctor, not one who plays a doctor on TV, I declined to go further. Calls for more videos fell on deaf ears.
As time passed, I commented that Joe clearly had an “organic brain syndrome.” This means that most of what we see comes from biological changes in the brain, not psychiatric illness. Meanwhile, Joe avoided prolonged exposure to cameras and microphones, so we didn’t have much to go on.
Then, a column on the “The Free Press” website posted a note from an academic neurologist who felt that his survival required that he remain anonymous. We know how accurate anonymous sources can be (sarcasm alert), so I was rather cautious until I compared this neurologist’s comments with my education and training, mixed with a liberal dose of Joe’s performance at the debate:

The RNC need to monitor the absentee ballot request and mailing process on a daily basis. Every absentee ballot must be requested by a registered voter in writing and the Republicans need to verify that the voter is legitimate and living at the address specified in the request! If you do that then you control the total number of ballots mailed out.
Watching the dropboxes is a waste of time. The courts laughed at videos and photos the last time. They wouldn’t even look at them.
For the WI State GOP to try and placate their constituency with their “monitoring of drop boxes” assurances, is just more pretending. Don’t insult our intelligence.

Republicans can monitor the process verifying that the request was made by a registered voter at the address specified and that the voter lives at that address. This way 10,000 ballots aren’t mailed out to a PO Box or vacant building! They can still monitor the dropboxes but videos don’t prove the ballots aren’t legitimate.
