The details and cause are unknown; however, Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie announced his wife’s passing on his Twitter account [HERE]
Prayers extended to his entire family.
(Via FOX NEWS) – Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky on Friday announced the passing of his wife, Rhonda.
“Yesterday my high school sweetheart, the love of my life for over 35 years, the loving mother of our 4 children, the smartest kindest woman I ever knew, my beautiful and wise queen forever, Rhonda went to Heaven,” the Republican wrote on X. “Thank you for your prayers for our family in this difficult time.”
Massie said just prior to Rhonda’s death, “We spent last week touring Mt Rainier with our grandson.”
“She was valedictorian at our high school where we went to the Prom together, accepted at MIT and Harvard, earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from MIT, and devoted her life to our family,” he added, sharing images of the couple and their family. (link)
A cause of death was not immediately known as thoughtful tributes from House colleagues began to follow on Twitter. Rhonda was 51.
Thank you @anncormican for reminding me of this rare recording of Rhonda singing (on YouTube). I loved her singing voice and she tolerated my out-of-time swarping at a banjo. This was Mike Maggard’s #nothinfancyfarm liberty event, August 28, 2011. pic.twitter.com/MZ71NBdjvC

A true partnership of equals.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
She must have been killer smart, and extraordinarily tolerant to live in a mobile home for as long as it took him to build their incredible home.
Lovely lady, I hope her loss sends him further right rather than further left.
He posted a UTube video of their completely off grid home they built for themselves, cutting timber and solid stone blocks from their property. Incredible life together, and very down to earth.
I would live in a van down by the river if it was with the right person.
Well said. Unfortunately for many in our current culture it’s getting harder and harder to find that right person.
Heck, it’s getting harder to find a decent but affordable van to live in too.
Here’s the video, it’s worth a few minutes of your time:
https://x.com/repthomasmassie/status/1799406403498480063?s=46
Thank you for the link. I have an entirely different perspective of Mr. Massie than what I comprehended from the snapshots and sound bites.
Thank you for that amazing video. What a sad thing that his wife is now gone to glory. Such a brilliant yet humble man!
“extraordinarily tolerant to live in a mobile home”
Why?
More than 20 million Americans live in mobile homes. Most of them debt free!
Massie doesn’t strike me as an elitist.
May she RIP
Good grief, didn’t mean that to be triggering, but you do realize they were [and are] off grid don’t you? It can’t have been easy before all their systems were set up.
mobile homes are mostly OK unless a hurricane or tornado hits your vicinity
For those of us who have moved off-grid, “easy” is not and never was part of the equation. It’s a choice, a lifestyle, and a mindset. She wanted, chose, and strived to earn that life for them and their children.
Precisely so. Very similar to the mindset that our westward-moving pioneer settlers carried, that enabled most of them to survive the rigors and hazards of their journeys to reach territory where they could live according to God’s plan.
Its extremely easy if you have the mindset, and its also where you find God.
With 4 kids. Two years.
Mrs. Massie had a Mechanical Engineering degree from MIT ….. very smart indeed !
Prayers for the Massie family

God Bless America
Can’t imagine loosing a lifelong friend.
Losing, not loosing. Sorry, that error is so bizarrely common I feel compelled to correct it.
She is not lost but in the arms of her Savior. And we praise Him for her marvelous life! And we know that the family too is held by our glorious God.
Mine is: “then” vs “than.”
It’s everywhere.
“too” and “to”
“It’s” vs “its”.
Thanx. Didn’t look
strange …you feel compelled to correct other’s spelling 🤔 have you sought professional help with this compulsion?
just couldn’t let it go could you.😁
your compulsion is showing bigly
you did what you accused marisa of doing
you are the one who couldn’t let it go
It makes me crazy too, but sometimes, it’s spell check that gets it wrong and the finger gets ahead of the eyes and the mind.
As a former teacher, I can tell you it’s not spell check. I tried my best but some “students'” (and many adults) will go on spelling it wrong no matter what.
Lose is the opposite of win.
Loose is the opposite of tight.
Not hard.
BTW, the “compulsion” comes from a love of the English language.

He seems to be at peace in his loving memories of his lifetime of years with this lovely woman. Prayers indeed. Blessings.
It sounds like it was not expected…there is no good way to lose someone we love but there is a specific kind of grief when there was no chance to say goodbye. 😭
A poignant reminder to never miss a chance to give a hug, take a picture, or say, “I love you.”
This boosts your assumption that this was not expected. Steve Baker had an appointment scheduled to meet with Massie yesterday. Here is what Steve Baker wrote:
“I was in Massie’s office just yesterday afternoon,” Blaze Media’s Steve Baker noted. “I had a scheduled appointment with him and other members of his staff. His chief of staff messaged me just before I arrived and said his boss had to go to Kentucky for a ‘family emergency.’ The meeting went on with the staffers, and they showed no sign of this tragedy. (They may not have even known.) I even joked with them that Massie needed to clean his desk – which was piled high with papers and books and other junk. One staffer said, ‘We always make him clean it before the August recess.’ My gut aches right now. Prayers up for Thomas Massie and his family.”

May God provide Massie and his family comfort, wisdom, and heightened faith to get through this terrible time.
Completely tragic. A beautiful wife with a good husband and family!!!
Think of all the totally useless billions of dollars wasted by the FDA and NIH on the Covid-19 Debacle instead of on a cure for cancer which I assume is what Mrs Massie had!
I cant help but think of all the innocent, nameless American families who the UniParty Congress helped destroy over what they knew damn well was a fake politically motivated pandemic and all the political prisoners they held hostage for protesting their abuses while forcing a fake President down our throats. Looks like they will get away with murder, on earth anyway.
Leronlimab could’ve helped her if it was cancer …
and on that note ……how many billions (trillions?) of dollars have we spent on cancer research?
Not saying we should stop; its a dreadful disease, however, shouldn’t we be farther along with the
research, etc. with this disease? It seems that the patients still get chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
After the covid vaccine I smell a rat as far as cancer treatment goes. Whose making all the money?
And why are we not farther along with treatments?
Can’t have Big Pharma running America unless we have “incurable” disease now can we. We need a cure for Big Pharma and Big Government
Toss “Climate Change” into that mess also. Just keep that grant money coming and tell us what answer you want we will finagle the data to match.
I am reading more and more about ivermectin in high doses. Some doctors are saying that cancer is probably a parasite that’s why the ivermectin works.
But ivermectin won’t help Pfizer’s bottom line.
No. People don’t suddenly drop dead unexpectedly from cancer a few days after a happy and seemingly physically active vacation.
They don’t want to cure cancer, just like they didn’t want to cure COVID-1984. Pig Pfarma and their FedGov puppets see all human suffering as their gravy train. Everything they do should be filtered through that lense. Effective, inexpensive treatments and lifestyle changes that cure illnesses interfere with that gravy train. I’ll assume Mrs Massie is another victim of the Vex (e.g., clotting issue, immune compromise turbo cancer, myo/pericarditis, etc) until given reason to think otherwise. RIP. Prayers and sympathy to her family!
A lovely & heartfelt tribute to the love of his life.
God’s Grace & peace to Rep Massie & his/their family & friends. May Rhonda Massie rest in the Lord our God’s eternal peace & loving embrace.
AMEN.

No one is mentioning the elephant in the room.
Was it the vax? Possible.
We may never know.
Prayers and peace to her family.
I suspect Yvonne meant the other elephant in the room – Massie saying way too much to Tucker Carlson.
The one that shall not be named?
That shall not be named? Would that be Israel? You can name her. You can join mobs in the street, destroying property and blocking streets, demanding she be wiped off the face of the earth. And there will be no consequences except maybe sex with some homely desperate Antifa sorts.
Close.
AIPAC– there I said it.
“Rep. Thomas Massie: Israel Lobbyists, the Cowards in Congress, and Living off the Grid”

Hmm. One thing I found interesting in Mr. Massie’s announcement was yes, of course he loved his wife, but it seemed to lack the shock / grief level one might expect to see. With this TC interview reminder in mind, am I seeing a refusal to be broken? Wow. CTH insights…
One of the most enjoyable Tucker episodes. What a refreshing person Massey is. May His family be truly comforted due to their loss of wife and mother.
If Rhonda was hurt because of the cabal, then hell hath no fury. Thomas is a formidable adversary. Smart as a whip and could wire Washington DC with C-4 in a minute… probably with the help of the Squad. He had what Trump has, the power to unite and conquer. Is Rhonda’s the face that will unify and launch a thousand ships? Maybe so. Thomas’s tenacity to hold up bad policies despite scrutiny from all around – is admirable – and should be noticed. Would love to see him oversee the EPA and utility infrastructure. He’s got the chops for it.
Here’s the Tucker interview for anyone interested. It’s a really good one.
Thanks for sharing! The interview is delightful and only makes the tragic loss of Massie’s wife all the more sad.
Incidentally, he didn’t unite the “uniparty” – they hated him. He disrupted a few things.
I thought that too, but reality says none of theim either side did but who knows. Its just so sad, i wonder if they will release the Autopsy results. Have a nice eve be safe
On June 26 Massie was holding a congressional hearing on the Covid vaccine
No. But we all know what it is.
In an earlier thread I posited “message received” and apologized for being so cynical.
the fact he outed the Aipac
and congress?
Brought Tears to my Eyes Several Times during the Tucker Interview, NOW that i Know She was Sitting there with Them and Thomas was BRAGGING On RHONDA about HOW PATIENT She was of HIM and His being a ” MacGyver “.
EXTREMELY RARE to FIND and MARRY a MATE That IS ” EQUALLY YOKED ” and PRODUCES A FULFILLED FAMILY.
PRAYERS for The MASSIE FAMILY.
qrw
Tucker did a podcast about 10 days ago with him. She must have just been his true love. Wonderful to know it’s still a thing. Prayers given.
How heartbreaking to do all that work believing you will be together through old age to enjoy the fruits of your labor. So sad. I wish I could fix it.
You have such a good heart, Leave.
The helplessness in knowing we cannot.
I hope…no, pray…that as time passes they will all feel her enduring presence in that beautiful home. Her legacy befitting the love he and she shared.
What an amazing man and amazing farm. Massie is Founding Father caliber –I had no idea how brilliant he was. Extremely heartbreaking that his soul mate and best friend is gone.
And genial. Fun.
So sad to lose someone that was obviously his soulmate for life. My heartfelt prayers for him and his family. RIP.
Condolences and sympathy for the Massie family in the upmost.
It will be very interesting to see what the official cause of death and circumstances related are reported or revealed.
Massie has been controversial in political circles.
It should be noted that he recently went after SOH Johnson and has been somewhat steadfast against foreign aid to anyone, two subjects that are near and dear to the IC.
May God bless the Massie family.
What a hole is left in their lives.
She sounded like an incredible lady.
This is very sad, indeed. I enjoyed immensely hearing about Thomas Massey building his family’s home off-grid in Kentucky. Truly, his wife’s partnership – both MIT graduates – and her understanding his mad scientist ways, was such a delightful story. Soar high amongst the angels, Mrs. Massey. Condolences to the Massey family and I pray for Thomas as he seeks to serve his nation and minster to his children.
I also loved his recent interview with Tucker. I wasn’t sure about him prior to that, but he won me over with his outlook on life, the whole off-the-grid thing, and his great sense of humor. In addition to being a legit genius, he’s funny as hell. I’m so sorry for his and their children’s loss. They were just on vacation last week with their grandson. She looked great in a family pic he posted. I don’t think she was sick, or if she was, no one knew.
I have half mind to send him a condolence card and some peanut butter pretzels. We really need him in Congress. A gift of peanut butter pretzels may sound ridiculous, but the meaning of them… means everything. He traveled and lived in his wife’s mini van, driving to stop a bad vote, and he subsisted on peanut butter pretzels. That’s the dedication we need for representation.
Listen, also, to the story of when he changed out the water heater / boiler for his county’s jail and what it took to circumvent the system to do it. He’s a hero.
I posted the Tucker interview link above.
You know… we do have mirror images of our Founding Fathers who live and breathe today. Just make the comparisons. Maybe not all 100% right, or 100% agree, but we have Patriots and they have an army of citizenry.
Who could we relate one to the other? Washington to Trump, Benjamin Franklin to Thomas Massie, Thomas Jefferson to Rand Paul… are there similar personality traits? Admittedly, I do not know enough about each great man’s behaviors and traits, short of seen in some studies and movies (a great one was John Adams series by Showtime years ago). But, we do have Patriots.
May God help us all.
Prayers for the Massie family.
🙏 🙏
💔
I agree, the pretzels story 👏👏
I also enjoyed the Tucker interview.
I never realized he had such a sense
of humor.
After watching that interview, I had
even more respect for him.
Yes this is the video I saw yesterday and couldn’t find again, thank you for posting. I cannot name one Dem politician that has had a tragedy like the Republicans seem to face–The train full of Republicans that collided with the truck on the way to a retreat at Greenbriar, The Republicans baseball practice where Scalise was shot, Katie Arrington head on collision, Rand Paul attacked and beaten by neighbor, Jim Jordan nephew dying in car accident…to name a few. May Mrs. Massie rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
Ivana Trump “falling” down the stairs.
Indiana Representative Jackie Walorski and two of her staff who died in a car accident.
Bingo.
Thomas Massie is no idiot. He’s not a dummy in any way, shape, or form and it is incredibly telling that no cause of death has been reported. He has to know what kind of imagery that creates. He has to know that the American people are going to question, as well as he is likely questioning now. If it was something like a long term illness, I can’t believe for a minute he would keep that under his hat.
If she was terminally ill I believe he would have left Congress to be by her side as well.
The Vaccine? Died Suddenly like so many thousands….
All four know they could be next.
Depart, O Christian soul, out of this world,
In the Name of God the Father Almighty Who created thee.
In the Name of Jesus Christ Who redeemed thee.
In the Name if the Holy Ghost Who sanctified thee.
May they rest be this day in peace, and they dwelling place in the paradise of God.
Amen.
We never know the day. I pray that the Massie family in their terrible grief will be able to take comfort in knowing with certainty that they will all be reunited in the presence of God where we are promised there will be no tears. He will wipe them all away 🙏🏻
Amén Amén sister!
🙏💕
Heartbreaking.
Just watched him last week talking about their home and how it was completely off grid. They were both extremely smart and had thoengineering genes thoroughly in their bodies and their marriage. I guess God just needed a good mother who was also an engineer. Rest in Peace with the Lord.
I read about this yesterday and I was surprised to hear of it. A terrible, terrible loss for the Massie family. It saddens me.
May she rest in peace. Strength to the family. 🙏🏻
That broke my heart. I just watched on Tucker being interviewed. She sounded like quite a brilliant and devoted woman. So unfair.
So very sad. Prayers for the family.
Today, Thomas Massie’s family gun pictures came up as I read about his family.
Democrats have to start with a lie to make them hate the Massie’s family.
Rest in peace, Rhonda.
A prayer of consolation for her family.
His interview with Tucker was amazing. Very exceptional guy, and she was his perfect mate. So sorry. May the Lord comfort and strengthen him.
Prayers for the Massie family.🙏🙏🙏

You decide.
Horrible to think she was arkcancided, but at this point it is plausible. Even though he is a public figure I really don’t want to be a voyeur because I like him and want to respect their privacy.
Not “Arkancided”, but higher up on the Evil Pyramid.
what was it Schumer said? 7 ways from sunday…
I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. 😞
The lack of reporting is interesting. A major political conservative’s wife dies unexpectly at a youthful middle age, and NO ONE is talking or writing about it.
How very strange.
Reminds me of Justice Scalia’s sudden death at a time he had obvious enemies and at least publicly there seemed to neither be gloating nor mourning about his death, just sort of a “great, now we can get something done” from his enemies. (And since then from what I’ve heard, yes he was murdered.) I would have thought his family would have said something about it, since what do they have to lose at that point? But they didn’t – so we’ll see what happens here.
Terrible and heartbreaking. But I doubt she had any political enemies. Why would anyone even go there at a time like this?
Um, because she was married to a person who isn’t doing what the Deep State wanted, and this sends a powerful message to anyone else who loves their family, about the cost of speaking the truth?
Maybe it was supposed to be him, and she was at the wrong place at the wrong time?
She was only 51. So very sad.
I think she was 60ish
They were married 35 years
51, only 51 short years. They met in high school.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Massie
She was 51. They weren’t married 35 years.
I think they were married in college.
They considered themselves life partners since high school. They married in college and had a business together. Then 4 children and living off the grid but near her family’s farm. At 51 she was perimenopausal. That’s life changing in a big way. Getting a mechanical engineering degree from MIT was easy peasy compared to living off the grid with its 24 hr a day challenges and utter loneliness when her life partner was away. Its just so sad.
An abundance of prayers and my condolences to the Massie Family. Rhonda Massie, RIP.
Sundance thank you..I know you’re no fan of Massie but times like this deserves to put differences aside.
Why is Sundance not a fan of Massie?
Voting against bills Trump wanted passed and trashing him repeatedly in the past.
Oh! Good reason!
Sure Massie is more like us than not, same with MTG–but then sometimes, you do one stupid thing and the bad guys have you over a barrel.
Massie endorsed DeSantis, sided with MTG to remove Speaker Johnson–someone is definitely holding his IOU.
The loss of his wife is suspicious–maybe he was getting rebellious, and needed to be reminded who runs things.
If one looks at all the legislation Rep. Massie has sponsored – all of it antithetical to the interests of tyrants – and the fact he revealed that every representative and Senator in Congress has a dedicated AIPAC handler, I am not going to be surprised at all if it ever comes to light there is more to her “sudden death” than natural causes. There is absolutely no doubt the tyrant class or the Israelis would do something that dastardly to control an enemy. The only question is, “Did they?”
This is so sad. Saying prayers for Rep. Massie, his children and grandchildren. May God give them peace and strength.
I hope he releases the details of her death. None of my businesses but it is so tragic.
He was on committee in DC on Wed 26. He voted on a few bills on 6-27. There were other bills but whether there was a vote? He is marked as not voting.
I wonder if someone found his wife Thursday afternoon/evening and he was alerted or he returned home and found her?
It feels as if there is a blanket over info on the “case”. Why would things be kept so quiet unless they were gathering evidence and data.
I have no doubt that she is in the incredible embrace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and surrounded by the angels!
May God keep her family safe and protected.
God bless the entire Massie family!
Did he sacrifice her to the Illuminati for a key position?? It is sad she passed but face it this guy is one of the more duplicitous politically expedient “Great Pretenders” in congress on “our side.” He knows Trump had a coup against him, he knows Jan 6 is a hoax and those people have had their constitutional rights shit on, he knows Biden was installed and he knows who is running the show. Don’t ever forget his pension means more to him than all your lives put together.
Nope.
Marc, go to the search box at the top right hand corner of this site and type in Thomas Massie’s name and read some the articles again as a refresher course…
Jewish people have a saying, in times of grief,
“May her memory be a blessing”
I certainly hope this is true for her family and friends.
Massie called out AIPAC and they tried to primary him unsuccessfully. He has enemies.
Two incredible people from a small hillbilly town in Ky. Incredibly intelligent. In one of the photos she looks terribly thin which leads me to believe cancer. His interview with Tucker was really good.
Prayers are with the Massies. What a loss for a true patriot in Congress. If only there were more like him.
I hope there was no foul play. There is this that makes me wonder….very upsetting if this is a threat.
Reference his recent interview with Tucker and what was said about AIPAC.

Wow I think they should investigate. Whoever sent that message. That is creepy. They hope he’s going to adjust his attitude now?
God’s Peace for all those negatively affected. https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/15.0.3/svg/1f64f.svg
Israel lobby possibly involved?
I hope he knows how sincere we are in our condolences.
Massie said something very prescient in his wonderful video about being off grid–That WATER is the most important thing to human survival –it is so very true. The oligarchs have been quietly buying up water rights in the West for decades. Water is a huge issue in Arizona–makes me very nervous to have retirement home there.
