It says it does not wash off & can not be scrubbed off. One of the people commenting at the bottom of the article (in America) said “It’s already on potatoes. I tried to peel a russet potato last week and my peeler wouldn’t catch the skin and kept sliding over it. I also noticed that the apples I just purchased are not being eaten by the raccoons now which is absolutely bizarre since they love their apples. All the apples were left and not a single one was eaten. So now we must peel all our produce which degrades the nutritional value even further.
Amongst many peoples comments, another was –
“So, if the produce has been sprayed with pesticides, does this coating seal in the pesticide? And what compounds would be created by mixing them all together”?

On the fresh fruit and vegetable labels if the number is 3 or 4 digits the food is grown by conventional methods, if 5 digits the food is considered but if the first number is 8 it is genetically modified but if the first number is 9 the food is not genetically modified.

So… silly little thing.
I mentioned before that Savannah took about $60 of her own money and purchased the whole DVD set of “Little House and the Prairie” at our Menards hardware store. This might take some of you back… when Mr. Edwards was becoming like family to the Ingalls, he gave Laura a very simple little gift. Laura loved the Lemon Verbena perfume that her teacher, Mrs. Beadle wore. Edwards gifted her some.
As I was stocking shelves last night, working alone and not allowed to have earbuds or anything, so really just alone with my thoughts… I came across a Meyers brand LEMON VERBENA hand soap. Couldn’t believe it. Then, later yesterday evening, saw a post somewhere online of a picture of Melissa Gilbert. Heading back to the store to get a Lemon Verbena hand soap. Can’t resist.

If you have a nice sunny spot in your yard, lemon verbena can be easy to grow. It’s a heavenly scent. LV leaves mixed with mint leaves and brewed as sun tea, a little sweetened, makes a most refreshing summertime tea.
I was first introduced to it in Tequis, central Mexico. The property owner had a bush growing in a corner against the outside wall, large bush, sun-soaked corner, desert climate. I grew it in a container in northern California wine country and had a little bit of trouble; but I got enough leaves to enjoy.

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
Give me patience to wait for Your perfect timing, and may I not trust in my own abilities and scheming, but rather rest in Your love and trust my future into Your hands.
