This is what is happening in the town I used to live in in So. CA. Very affluent area where friends live are in one of these schools. Guess what? The “education” has gotten so bad, they are pulling their child out of public school. It’s such a messed up system. And oh by the way, they pay some of the highest property taxes in the country. And the schools are so bad that the children are not being educated. But by God, three squares a day whether you need them or not. Seems to me that the education they’re receiving is that anything the government does is crap.
Free meal programs funnel lots of money to the major corporations that just so happen to make products that exactly fit “Michele Obama’s” nutritional guidelines.
The very harsh reality is that for some kids this is the only assured meals that they have. The cafeteria would fix breakfast for them as well as lunch. Then, they would send the “leftovers” home with them. (There were always “leftovers …”) Hunger is real, folks. And it ain’t pretty.
When schools around here were closed because of covid, the cafeterias stayed open and they fixed meals and delivered them every day.
Schools have always had free or reduced-cost meals for the poorest kids, where they even have lunch programs.
The very poor get SNAP benefits.
Kids going hungry is a matter for Social Services, not schools.
All humans get hungry.
When you leave everything up to the government, including 3 squares a day, the government always has the power to pull the rug out from you.

Many try to frame the battles as one country vs another country or one political party vs another party, but those comparisons don’t properly describe what’s taking place.
The “capturing” is done by those who operate above countries and above political parties so “Elite Capture” properly describes it.
What we are witnessing is the attempted “managed decline” of the US and the “managed rise” of China to replace the US on the world stage.

Lefties are concerned that the “scientists” in administrative agencies will not be able to use their “expertise” to use the “best science” to use in regulating the public. (Fauci immediately comes to mind, followed by the EPA, “Rachel” Levine, etc.). Judges might be interpreting statutes. (“The horror, the horror!”)
Supreme Court Admits To Accidentally Posting Ruling On Pending Abortion Case
The Supreme Court (SCOTUS) on Wednesday admitted to accidentally posting a document online related to a pending abortion case in Idaho, which was obtained by Bloomberg Law before it was removed from the website.
According to Supreme Court spokesperson Patricia McCabe, a document was inadvertently and briefly uploaded” to the court website, but added that the ruling “has not been released.”
However, the opinion piece obtained by Bloomberg stated that the majority of the SCOTUS ruled to dismiss the case as “improvidently granted,” which will now send it back to a lower court that had previously reinstated emergency abortions for the health of patients.

This is odd, because the Court usually uploads opinions one-by-one to its website as they are released on opinion days.
Uploading is not a new procedure for which they need to “practice.”
It’s hard to see this as someone accidentally hitting the wrong button after the opinions are readied for the next day.
It’s already finished, so it’s not like the Dobbs leak, which may have been to influence justices’ votes.
Could have something to do with giving Biden another talking point for the debate tonight, but then, with Biden, there is always the problem of him having sufficient memory ability to retain what he’s told earlier in the day.

MeetKevin filed a lawsuit seeking an emergency injunction against CNN so other “media” outlets can use Fair Use and comment on the debate. He does a good job explaining the ridiculousness of the rules and controls in very neutral examples (non-partisan). I haven’t gone to PACER yet to pull it up.
