Julian Assange, his lawyers and the Wikileaks organization will be holding a press conference in Australia at 7:30am Eastern USA time.
Mr. Assange walked free from a court in the US Pacific Island territory of Saipan, after pleading guilty to violating US espionage law, in a deal that will see him return home to Australia. Assange made no statement when he left the federal court.
A lot of people have optimistic hopes for Julian Assange, and/or the Wikileaks organization, to deliver information that will further evidence and outline the corrupt nature of the colluding governments who targeted him. However, when you consider the current weaponized intents of the U.S. government, you would be wise to remember no plea agreement will be detrimental to their interests.

Because it is likely to be a subject of interest in the days, weeks and months that will follow, the link to the 23-page plea agreement is above. I would strongly urge everyone to spend a few minutes reviewing it to understand the highly restrictive parameters within it.
Despite the public face of Assange’s lawyers and Wikileaks in general, the plea agreement severely puts limits on the ability of Wikileaks to continue their operations.
It should be noted that part of the agreement outlines how Wikileaks will give the USA any/all unpublished information, or destroy all unpublished information that Wikileaks possesses that is not limited to USA interests, classified information or national security.
In essence, any/all information in the care/custody of Wikileaks that has not been published is no longer available for Wikileaks to use. This would presumably include documents, messages, videos, audio recordings and any “information” in the possession of the Wikileaks organization.

I would strongly temper all expectations. Do not expect Julian Assange, or any member of his organization, to suddenly begin revealing information that has previously been withheld.

All Wikileaks’ DNC Emails Were Deleted to Free Assange
The case against Julian Assange rested on his allegedly encouraging Private Bradley Manning to download secret military files. Although unrelated to that charge, the Democrat National Committee files were deleted — all 20,000 of them.
In August 2018, the Democratic National Committee served Wikileaks via Twitter. The case was filed in a New York City court. The suit claimed publishing its emails in 2016 violated federal copyright laws and the Trade Secrets Act.
The DNC accused the site of working with the Trump campaign and Russia to swing the 2016 election in Donald Trump’s favor.
It was a stunt, and a judge dismissed it.
KimDotCom posited a theory at the time. He said he knows Russia didn’t do it, and the Mueller indictment of 12 Russians [the troll farm lawsuit] is a scam initiated by Hillary Clinton. “Mueller is a political hitman tasked to end Trump,” he wrote on Twitter.

I’m glad Assange is out of prison, but he’s hardly free. Right now, we need to focus on Trump and all the talk concerning whom he will have in his admin.

Trump had a chance to pardon Assange but was talked out of it by Pompeo and others. Also, let’s not forget it was Donald J. Trump who put Assange behind bars in solitary confinement for five years. Trump is no potential “hero” in this scenario. He is and will always be the number one villain. He cannot give back to Assange the five years that he lost.
How many times are you going to repeat that lie ? Trump did not arrest JA and put him in prison.

Help me out here. I read the plea deal and I saw zero references to the leaked DNC Hillary emails. This deal is all about Iraq, GITMO, and state department cables classified stuff. Are the DNC-Hillary emails in the leaked state dept.cables? Where is the murder of Seth Rich in all this?
Anyone as capable as Julian Assange can and will find a way to extract a “pound of flesh” (or more) once he has rested, recovered and decided how to set about it. One only wonders what would happen if JA offered to open an Academy to instruct people in the “finer arts” of hacking..? How many would be in the first graduation class?

Nope. The RNC leaders, now Trump people, will control the agenda with convention rules like “There will be no nominations from the floor for the office of President of the US”. Anyone who tries will be ruled out of order. If anyone challenges that ruling and calls for a vote it must be 2/3 to override the chair. Not likely 2/3 of delegates want any other candidate on the ballot for nomination.
Now….if Wikileaks is/was hacked before it could fully comply with/harden the information it has stored and was released by many other outlets, how could that be a violation of the plea agreement? Circumstances outside of Assange’s control.
But that would mean that there really are operators inside Wikileaks who aren’t controlled by US intelligence officials.

Let’s not forget who it was who put Assange in prison for five years. Donald J. Trump! Had Trump not put Assange in prison (a stupid and inexcusable action by a malleable Trump) it is very likely Wikileaks would have been in business in 2020 making it harder to suppress Hunter Biden’s laptop. Imagine if Wikileaks had received the Hunter Biden laptop instead of Rudy Giuliani. Wikileaks would have revealed to the world the contents just as they did in 2016 with Hilary’s and DNC emails.

According to court documents Trump gave the direct order to Rick Grinnell to have Assange arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy.
I agree with Sundance that we should not expect Wikileaks to leak any documents any time soon if ever again especially if those documents somehow favor Trump in the way that the DNC and Hilary email leaks helped sway the 2016 election. Why would they? Trump’s CIA chief Pompeo wanted to assassinate Julian (was Trump aware).

I read the entire agreement just now. Nowhere does it refer to the alleged DNC hack, or to who gave him the DNC material. Hmmmm … The G only required he remove/destroy USG classified material, that would NOT include the DNC material, which is private material, not classified/national security type data.
