To give some scale as to the descent into weaponized government madness that surrounds us, think about the headline.
Imagine a world where the sitting president of the United States has a national intelligence apparatus giving him advice that his political opponent, and those who support that opponent, should be considered “domestic terrorists.” Then accept that we don’t have to imagine it, because this is the reality of the current situation.
They started out by saying Trump supporters were extremists, then went through a phase normalizing government hatred by saying unmasked and unvaccinated people should be placed in camps, and now the evolution of Trump supporters and our military being the largest domestic terrorist threat.

These are documents extracted via a FOIA lawsuit against the Biden administration. Can you imagine the apoplectic “Threat to Democracy” media if these same words of advice were said by a President Trump group about supporters of Barack Obama.
Yet, it is exactly the Obama era shift to fine tune the domestic intelligence apparatus that has created this dynamic.
Barack Obama and Eric Holder did not create a weaponized DOJ and FBI; the institutions were already weaponized by the Patriot Act. What Obama and Holder did was take the preexisting system and retool it, so the weapons of government only targeted one side of the political continuum.
This point is where many people understandably get confused.
Elevator Speech:
(1) The Patriot Act turned the intel surveillance radar from foreign searches for terrorists to domestic searches for terrorists.
(2) Obama/Biden then redefined what is a “terrorist” to include their political opposition.
In the era shortly after 9/11, the DC national security apparatus, instructed by Vice President Dick Cheney, was constructed to preserve continuity of government and simultaneously view all Americans as potential threats. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) were created specifically for this purpose.
After 9/11/01, the electronic surveillance system, that was originally created to monitor threats from abroad, was retooled to monitor threats inside our country. That is when all of our electronic ‘metadata’ came under federal surveillance.
That inflection point, and the process that followed, was exactly what Edward Snowden tried to point out.
What Barack Obama and Eric Holder did with that new construct was refine the internal targeting mechanisms, so that only their political opposition became the target of this new national security system.
The problems we face now as a country are directly an outcome of two very distinct points that were merged by Barack Obama. (1) The post 9/11 monitoring of electronic communication of American citizens; and (2) Obama’s team creating a fine-tuning knob that it focused on the politics of the targets. This is very important to understand if you choose to dig deep and learn the origin of how this began….

Once you see the Patriot Act in this light, there is no going back. This is why the Bush wing of the GOP has gone full Lincoln Project crazy. Supporters of GWOT like me, once we see the Patriot Act as the most evil tool it has become (always was), we will NEVER back a neocon world government, world police candidate. Worse yet we don’t trust our own party. The Bergum love fest has been a major reveal. I’m beside myself that PDJT endorsed Larry Hogan, but I see the long game. I live in MD, Hogan is/was and always we be toast politically. The state cannot forget how he mismanaged Covid and gave him no coat-tails. We don’t want Hogan, he was pushed by forces outside the state. He is going to lose, but now at least PDJT cannot be blamed.
It hasn’t just started. I’m very much a Constitutionalist. My work truck has 2 or, 3 very strong but, tasteful words of wisdom from our Founding Fathers. I’ve been pulled over for the bogus no seat belt or, thought you had a light out reasons. Mostly state troopers who always stop & read my bumper stickers too whomever they’re talking with on their radios. This started in Bush years & was very frequent during obama admin.
What do your bumper stickers say? Do you have one that says, Don’t blame poopy pants biden for everything blame Trump?

Their logic tells of who they FEAR. While failing to identify real threats.
There are those who would seek to expand government power any chance they get. The reason is to reduce liberty and freedom. The goal is power. Government power is always bad. However, American history is filled with examples of horror. The Indians, the Japanese, the Bonus marchers, the Covid vaccines, Lincoln’s summarily imprisoning 50,000 citizens without trial, his waging war on civilians and execution of civilians without trial. We see it with the weaponization of the judicial system and law enforcement.
This is the route to civil war or revolution.
Both, actually.
The manipulated, controlled, organized and weaponized systems of out government were perverted much more when a suspected pervered politician was elected, who to this day is manipulating the biden regime. He must have at least a legion of devils possessing him.
