Daron Shaw should be well known to CTH readers {Go Deep}. Shaw has been the Fox News poll manipulator and narrative engineer for over a decade. Knowing the Trump v Biden debate was coming, we knew Fox News would arrange some anti-Trumpism media narrative to capitalize on the predictable corporate theme. However, to see the Fox team make “Threats To Democracy” the #1 concern of voters, is just a talking point too far.
Fox News creating/promoting the “Trump is a Danger to Democracy” narrative via polling, is as predictable as Megyn Kelly and her 2015 “Trump is a sexist” debate narrative. Keep in mind, in order to see the strings on the marionettes you first have to stop pretending the performance is real life. Far too many people are comfortable pretending.

I live in California.I’m so sick of seeing seniors in line at the grocery store putting items back because they don’t have the money to pay. Catholic Charities (I’m Catholic and am not a fan) just held a huge good giveaway in a small Fresno County town. No ID, no income requirement, just go to the Church and get in line. I’ve not seen this kind of giving from them since the Carter era. School is out and hunger is a problem on the West side of Fresno County.
All of this is attributable to Dem policies. I don’t say Biden because I don’t believe he is running anything. We now have a draft because they mishandled the military and now have recruitment problems, Instead of fixing their misguided policies, they put the draft back in our lives. Either my search skills are rusty (could be) or the cable companies are doing a fantastic job hiding their viewership numbers by quarter and by channel. Nothing for 2024, 1st quarter, and most search engines, even when putting in 2024 are coming up with numbers for 2012!
What I could find, the average daily viewership of Fox (news and sports combined), which is the highest viewership, is only 1.5 million households. Given we are a population of around +/- 340 million, that’s not many people, or households, buying what Fox is selling.
Did see an old story, from 5 years ago, where US viewership of foreign news channels is way up. Will try another search later after the morning coffee does its thing.

As I approached this article, I had a negative bias against Daron Shaw and his “Threats To Democracy” poll. As I began reading, and thinking, it seems to me we need to define our terms, especially what “threats” exist. Threats to whom?
If one considers the threats that Lawfare and political corruption present (Deep State), Shaw is absolutely correct. That threat is very high on my list, as in, the possible demise of our country as we know it.
However, being my naturally cynical self, I don’t think that is what Shaw is promoting. I have a sneaking suspicion that Shaw is stating that “Trump is a Danger to Democracy” because he challenges the dims and their establishment and has the possibility of upsetting their cart.
I read the “Read More” section of the poll and am convinced that it is babble, text for sale to Fox. I think his numbers have little to do with reality.
I would be surprised to learn that “Biden”‘s true polling is greater than 15%. BTW, the guy you see in the picture is NOT the real Joe Biden.

Fox uses “registered” voters instead of “actual” or”likely” voters which is much more accurate in polling. As a result, they over-sample Democrats. That is a good thing. Our government is a Constitutional Republic. The Dims have been pushing democracy. The Founding Fathers knew a democracy would implode and put many failsafe’s in place to prevent the US from becoming a democracy.
“Future of Democracy” is not very specific. Both people who fear President Trump becoming a dictator and Trump supporters angry about ballot fraud are worried about the future of democracy.
Fox is disgusting. The FIRST PICTURE side-by-side of Biden and Trump shows a larger image of Biden than Trump; the second image is, again, a smiling Biden (closer image) and a Trump image of him standing on a stage without a smile and looking stiff and uncomfortable.
It’s so obvious who Fox is promoting BIGLY, it makes me sick and angry.
