“Jim Jordan Threatens Letitia James with Subpoena Over Trump Prosecutor”

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan of Ohio threatened to subpoena New York Attorney General Letitia James on Tuesday for failing to comply with providing information his committee seeks regarding the top prosecutor in former President Donald Trump’s Manhattan criminal case.
On May 15, Jordan had written James seeking correspondence and other information regarding Matthew Colangelo, who previously worked in her office.
While employed by James during the latter end of the Trump administration, Colangelo was involved with her office’s probe into the Trump Organization. That investigation became the basis of the attorney general’s civil fraud case against the former president, The Hill said.
A Manhattan judge ultimately found Trump guilty in February and directed he pay over $450 million to the state of New York. The case is currently on Appeal.

Defendants then hired Director of Elections (James) Allen shortly after the November 2020 elections, who was previously the public Communications Officer for elections in Cook County (Chicago), Illinois, who is now providing (or not providing) false attestations of election machine certifications and logic and accuracy testing since.

56. Savage did NOT conduct, or sign sworn attestation for, certification and testing of election machines, as required by statutory law.

It was then that I realized if PDJT wasn’t careful, he would be impeached by the House and we were only 17 squishy Senate Rs away from him being removed from office. The feigned outrage of the left would have been at volume 11 and, I think, Rs (e.g., McConnell, Romney, Murkowski, Collins, etc.) may have caved.
I also recall Scarf-Lady wrote in her book that if PDJT fired any one of them (Redfield, Fauci, Collins, etc.) they all would have quit. Had that fantasy of hers come to fruition, I believe PDJT would have been removed from office and we wouldn’t be watching him on the cusp of winning the presidency for a third time!

I’ve resolved most of the old-unresolved grief, fear, sadness, anger, resentment, etc from previous personal traumas so there is very little leftover clouding my vision in any now moment – I’m not “triggered’ by… there are no emotional landmines left to explode & compound my negative emotional experiences in any present moment.
I see what IS, I discern, I feel what I feel, and I use what I know to resolve my negative emotions in the moment now; nothing leftover; no residual-unresolved to rear its ugly head later to be ‘triggered’ by an “unfair” moment to re-activate/compound emotional response & make that moment even worse.
I wasn’t always thusly abled; many/most people aren’t free from emotional landmines made of leftover unresolved traumas;
I’m very glad I learned how to free myself… it allows me to stay in observer position and not be sucked down into negative (triangle) positions – into dramas that I can’t personally remediate or resolve anyway; I’m instead cued to channel my energies toward the opposite.
It’s a choice anyone can make, and most people don’t see or feel the Truth of that choice.

Fellow Treepers, the people that say the divisive leftist DEI crap has been going on for many decades are right. I was involved in a DEI incident in 1977.
I wanted to join the US Coast Guard to save lives. When I took the US Coast Guard test and did the entrance application in 1977, most of the questions were about knowledge, not politics. But towards the end of the application there was one question that was (I did not understand that back then, that question was about what is now called DEI) about race. Several races were listed, to the left of each one there was a little spot you could checkmark.
It puzzled me, I thought “Why do they even ask that? We are all human beings!”
On the race listing section, at the end, there was one spot, ‘Other’, where you could check it and write in the name of a group that was not included on the list. I checked it, and wrote down HUMAN ⚡.
When the recruiter checked out my application, he told me that he understood and agreed 100% with why I had done that (he was a true Coast Guard recruiter, not a fake military recruiter like the ones on all branches of the military today). He warned me that unfortunately, if I did not check as being a member of a specific racial group, the Coast Guard would reject my application (politics 😡 🤬 , DEI 😡🤬). He liked me so much and was so impressed by my test score that he gave me a second copy of the application so I could redo that line. I did. I wanted to join the US Coast Guard to save people so I check marked ‘Hispanic’. I was accepted by the US Coast Guard.
Life is full of surprises.
While on my first ship, I discussed what I told you above with a fellow crew member. He told me that when I took the test and did the application he was the secretary for the admiral that ran the ‘USCG seventh district’ who was also in charge of accepting or rejecting the applications. He told me that not only had the admiral accepted my application, he had also added 10 points to my test score (politics 😡 🤬 ). That angered me, I told my crewmate that my life is my own, and that what I achieve or do not achieve should be based on what I do, not on politics.
My crewmate calmed me down. He told me that even if the admiral had not added 10 points to my test score, I would have still made it in, because my unaltered test score was the highest one of all who took the test on that day, and it was well within the score required to join the US Coast Guard 😃💖. I calmed down.
Over 20 years, I helped save about 1,000 people, of all groups, and a few times even their pets too 😃💖.
As I have told my fellow treepers before, I am not perfect, but I have done something right which led to my soul leaving my body to have a one on one meeting with God on June 16, 2016 😃🙏💖😃. The most amazing and beautiful moment of my life 😃🙏💖😃.

There are a lot of great private programs out there that can help parents by supplementing subjects like math and reading. I ran one for years and had a lot if homeschool families because I could get their kids into calculus before 15-16 yrs of age. Huge advantage in the world, and the parents were humble enough to know that they topped out at algebra I and a 6th grade reading level. The programs aren’t free, but $150/mo is cheap once you you can master all of K-12 math in about 5-6 years. All of it, up through calculus.
I agree COVID revealed a lot of frauds. Parents were suddenly able to see how bad a lot of teachers are, and how little the kids actually learn.
Yes, sure, home schooled test scores are 30 percent or more higher than public school scores, but as the article says, most of these parents don’t have teaching degrees, or -horror- don’t have college degrees. So by all means make home schooling like public education and get those test scores down where they belong! /s

And why was this a mistake?
Then I started receive, without exaggeration, 100+ text messages per day from every dirtbag pol under the sun begging for money.
I did some research and found out that robo texts are illegal and that the texts you get are sent by actual people. Texting “stop” is pointless.
So I started replying with gif’s saying “Eff Off” but not the PG version. It took about a week, but the text messages have not only declined, they’re less than they were before I donated.
Lesson learned.

This happened to me too. I had donated multiple times but evidently one time, I didnt click the right opt out box, or something. Was getting dozens of texts a day, so annoying. Replying “STOP” didnt stop them. I eventually found a setting in my iphone that blocked texts from unknown senders and that seems to have worked. It was maddening.

In some earlier discussions about a few “head-scratching” congressional candidate endorsements by President Trump, there’s was talk here in CTH about his endorsement of Claudia Tenney in the newly drawn (and very red) NY-24. The primary is next Tuesday, 6/25. I found an article that somewhat fairly describes the race for those interested but not familiar with the inside local info. (Link below.)
The winner of next week’s Republican primary will almost certainly be elected to Congress in November. That’s why I don’t understand why President Trump didn’t go for an outsider MAGA like Mario Fratto, instead of someone squishy like Tenney. Her challenger, Mario Fratto, is a non-politician, much like President Trump. He’s a businessman and strong family man.
Tenney is a carpetbagger who has taken money from Pfizer and Google, as well as from other well-financed, beltway and swampy PACS. Although she talks a good MAGA, her positions and votes on some immigration and 4th amendment issues are awful. She has run ugly and unnecessary personal attack ads against a good and decent family man. After watching some of her campaign commercials, I feel like I need a shower.
I can’t count how many time over the years I’ve heard the refrain, “Primary them all!” But when we have fresh MAGA candidates, we watch them go by for the most part unendorsed, underfunded and self-financed. Maybe that explains why our bench and bullpen for candidates are consistently so shallow. I apologize if this sounded too much like a rant, but at nearly 70, I feel like I’m running out of time to right the ship. 😉
I certainly understand the political reasons and strategies involved in President Trump’s endorsement of Tenney. Perhaps if I lived elsewhere, I’d follow the President’s endorsement. But remember, endorsements by President Trump are just that….endorsements. They are not orders. And that’s how I expect he intends them to be received.

I hear you. I am left puzzled by some of the endorsements, as if he is endorsing folks we know will back-stab him the first chance they get. He can endorse whoever he wants, but it’s up to us to vote in (for) the candidate we know to be MAGA ,and not the interloper. MAGA is the counter to the RINO/Uniparty. But. . . The kid was more jacked up on psychotropic “treatment meds” after he went into “the program” than he was jacked up on fentanyl going in, and he clearly put on that weight as a result.
