Greg Abbott Sounds Alarm Over Houston ‘Voter Fraud’
Governor Greg Abbott has declared that “voter fraud is real” after a Texas judge ordered a new election in Houston.
In May, a judge ordered a new election in Harris County’s November 2022 180th District Court judicial race following the finding that more than 1,400 vote cast were illegal and that it was impossible to determine which candidate received them.
Republican candidate Tami Pierce lost by just under 450 votes to Democrat DaSean Jones, who is currently a Texas district court judge, at the time.

While I think that this is really nice and perhaps, lawyers will be brought into the fold. The rest of us who want to be poll workers simply give Lara/RNC our information and they pass it on to the local RNC who decides if they want/need you or not. Then, if the local RNC wants to train you MAGA-style then it is up to them to want to do so.
I thought that the national RNC had fired up a program to train us with an online course specific to our state where we could get accredited and then put into a role at a local level.

Simple fix: don’t take a cell phone to avoid tracking and take the proof of delivery photo with a $20-30 pocket pen video camera which is even more clandestine than a using a cell phone. They could make it less obvious by covering fewer boxes in one trip AND by coming up with, as you said, a decentralized operation, dropping many ballots to be stuffed at many different volunteer locations to be picked up by mules at those locations. I’m sure they’re smart enough to figure this out.

Thirty-seven states have so far changed their mail-in voting procedures this year in response to the Coronavirus. Despite frequent claims that President Trump’s warning about vote fraud/voting buying with mail-in ballots is “baselessly” or “without evidence” about mail-in vote fraud, there are numerous examples of vote fraud and vote buying with mail-in ballots in the United States and across the world. Indeed, concerns over vote fraud and vote buying with mail-in ballots causes the vast majority of countries to ban mail-in voting unless the citizen is living abroad.
There are fraud problems with mail-in absentee ballots but the problems with universal mail-in ballots are much more significant. Still most countries ban even absentee ballots for people living in their countries.
Most developed countries ban absentee ballots unless the citizen is living abroad or require Photo-IDs to obtain those ballots. Even higher percentages of European Union or other European countries ban absentee for in country voters. In addition, some countries that allow voting by mail for citizens living the country don’t allow it for everyone. For example, Japan and Poland have limited mail-in voting to those who have special certificates verifying that they are disabled.
France has made an exception this year to the ban on absentee ballots to those who are sick or at particular risk during the Coronavirus pandemic. Poland and two cities in Russia have adopted mail-in ballots for elections this year only, but most countries haven’t changed their regulations.
France banned absentee voting in 1975 because of massive fraud in Corsica, where postal ballots were stolen or bought and voters cast multiple votes. Mail-in ballots were used to cast the votes of dead people. Examples for other countries are provided.

There has never been effective oversight of the NSA’s bulk collections programs, or indeed, intelligence agencies in general. There’s been a lot of noise made about this vaunted oversight in defense of programs revealed by leaked documents, but this is nothing more than a talking point.
At The Big Picture, a clip of Sen. John D. Rockefeller (then Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence) discussing how oversight actually works has been posted. It’s from an interview given in 2007, about the time the FISA Amendments Act was being put together to replace the expiring Protect America Act. The amendments act, among other things, extended the length of warrantless surveillance and gave telecoms retroactive immunity for their participation in the NSA’s bulk collections.

Many weekends I drive to/from Columbus, OH up to Lake Erie. The drive takes me through many small, rural Ohio towns. One such town is called New Washington: Population 873. It is a no stop light, two stop sign town.
On every phone pole in town is mounted with a picture of a son, brother, father who gave is life in the military. Such a small town, so many lives lost, literally dozens. At first I was deeply appreciative of all the sacrifices made then, over the years it made me sad…now it makes me very angry.

Our company was ordered to help retrieve the Black Hawk Down people. We were on a ship just off the coast, and for days, the captain broadcasted the audio from all the units on the ground. For political expediency, Clinton was hoping that the BHD people would get killed quickly, so he refused to allow us to go in to help them. We had to sit and listen to their pleas for help for days and were not allowed to assist them. Finally, the captain of our ship said we could go in to save them because it was quickly turning into bad press for Clinton. BUT….there was a caveat. We were not allowed to use any of our military equipment, not one vehicle, not one bullet, nothing. We had to beg NATO to use their rusted down, broken down vehicles.
But we were willing to go into that cesspool completely defenseless to help our brothers. I won’t describe the carnage of that event. Your dreams would be as disturbed as mine. Just suffice to say that I was one of the very few lucky ones that survived. We were fish in a barrel, all because Clinton did not want to upset the Muslim population. “Expendable” took on a whole new meaning that day.
I wonder, after reading your post, just how many of those boys from that town were with me that day and whether the military lied to their families about the circumstances of their death.

The Israeli military earlier announced plans to halt fighting in parts of the enclave to allow aid in to the territory
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has criticized a decision by the military to implement a daily halt to fighting along a route through southern Gaza to facilitate aid delivery, Reuters and Israeli media have reported.
The IDF announced the 11-hour ‘tactical pauses’ in the area on Sunday. When Netanyahu heard the military’s initial announcement, he contacted his military secretary and “made it clear that this was unacceptable to him,” an unnamed Israeli official said, as quoted by Reuters.
According to Israeli news outlet N12, Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant had not been informed in advance about the IDF’s decision to pause the fighting in the Rafah area.
“After an inquiry, the prime minister was informed that there was no change🤔 in IDF policy and that the fighting in Rafah continues as planned,” the Times of Israel newspaper reported, citing a diplomatic source.
After the initial announcement, the IDF issued a clarification on X (formerly Twitter) saying that the fighting in southern Gaza and Rafah would continue as normal, and that a road in a specific area would only be open for the transportation of humanitarian aid. The IDF said the pause was being coordinated with international aid agencies.🙄
Several top politicians in the Netanyahu government have also condemned the ‘tactical pause’.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, a leading right-wing member of the cabinet, said in a statement on X that whoever decided on such a “delusional” approach was a “fool who should not remain in his position.” The move was not brought before the cabinet and is contrary to its decisions, the statement added.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also slammed the IDF’s announcement as “delusional,” arguing that the “aid goes largely to Hamas and helps it to continue civilian control” of Gaza “in direct contradiction to the goals of the war.”
Here’s Caroline Glick’s take. “Israel’s Deep State is undermining our war effort and placing obstacles before us on the path to victory. There, I said it.”
