When President Obama famously told incoming President Trump the largest foreign policy concern was the potential for near-term military conflict with North Korea, Trump curiously asked Obama, “Well, have you talked to Kim Jong-un?”
President Trump has never revealed how Obama responded to that question; however, given the nature of the circumstances, what we know about DC and the background involved, we can assume the Obama reply was akin to the lightbringer telling Trump, “Things just are not done that way.”
We know what happened next; President Trump engaged directly with Chairman Kim, met with him several times and even crossed into the demilitarized zone as a physical expression of a new approach.
This was only one example of President Trump’s policy doctrine, which ran completely counter to the traditions of the professional administrative state. This was/is part of the reason why DC hated Trump.
The bureaucracy of DC exists to sustain the career influence and affluence of a group of people who would never survive in the private sector. Their weak work ethic, selfish worldview, insufferably annoying character traits, flawed logic, silly outlooks and disconnected opinions, created in a bubble that has no relationship to reality, are only useful within their echo-chambered system.
President Trump has a skillset of commonsense accomplishment that runs completely counter to the mindset of the administrative state. President Trump thinks like you and me; Trump finds optimal solutions. Washington DC simply cannot fathom successful policy outcomes that do not come from their creation. Trump succeeded with a doctrine that was entirely unfamiliar to the DC bureaucracy. {GO DEEP} It is absolutely critical that we never forget this.
It is important to remind ourselves of what is possible in a positive way, because everything discussed about our challenges is framed from the perspective of a flawed and corrupt DC system. From the traditional perspective, the challenge seems overwhelming, but that’s really a misnomer.
Here’s the key – The DC challenges are not overwhelming when you take a non-traditional approach toward finding solutions.
Consider the issue of SSI supplemental benefits and budgets. Yes, from the traditional perspective the financial drain on the system can collapse the federal budget. However, if we double the size of the economy and/or modify import tariffs, we can increase tax revenue and resolve the SSI budget problem. The problem for DC is that no one knows how to double the economy or leverage tariffs to expand the domestic pie. President Trump does.
Again, we mistakenly view our problems through the prism of how they were created.
This paralysis by analysis is emphasized by tradition, by DC punditry and by the media complex who exist to talk about the problems. But thankfully, President Trump views our problems through the prism of how to solve them. President Trump doesn’t look backward, he looks forward; it is a very unique and effective approach.
We look at the problem as if we individually are given an elephant to eat. President Trump looks at the problem as if there needs to be more of us with forks. It is, essentially, the feed a man a fish or teach a man to fish conversation. Which one creates the larger economic pie?
Despite the naysayers, backbiters and backseat drivers, we must continually remind ourselves that Trump’s optimal solution approach works. We have the history of the Trump Doctrine (2017 through 2020) to review as a reminder. It just works.
So, with that in mind…. here’s a little back-and-forth that might help break the funk and remind us to smile.

I have no doubt that Trump can do all that (quickly fix the foreign policy issues) and has good ideas and plans on hw to fix the domestic issues as well. However, here are my concerns:
-Where will Trump get the people who will execute his policies? Trump 1.0 was undermined by government people (both appointed and career types) who “drug their feet” and/or out right ignored/sabotaged the MAGA policies and plan. Trump 2.0 has to have better personnel to carry things out. And the pool of DC “talent” is full of RINOs and globalists, so he has to look beyond that (and no more retired generals and admirals – they are some of the worst!).
-And the “high level” appointments all have to get confirmed by the corrupt Senate. Even if the GOP retakes the Senate, there will be more RINOs and dems combined than real conservative and/or MAGA Senators. So what is the plan to get around the Senate stalling and/or failing to confirm Trump’s appointments? I see a lot of executive orders and “acting” appointments in the Trump 2.0 administration’s future, and those are not efficient, will be challenged in court and can be undone with the stroke of a pen by the next regime.
Bottom line – I have confidence in Trump, but no confidence in the GOP actually backing him and even less confidence in the various state and federal judges doing the right thing when Trump’s policies end up in court.
PS – And this all assumes the deepstate doesn’t just steal the 2024 election like they did in 2020, and/or kill/remove Trump to put the VP in charge (so the VP pick had better be an insurance policy, so MAGA scary to them that they will think twice before pulling the trigger).

I used to be ambivalent/tending positive toward term limits. It sounds like a good idea, on its face.
But now I strongly oppose term limits. It would have the effect of immediately rendering every RINO and loony democrat into a lame duck politician. A politician who doesn’t have to worry about accountability to and getting reelected by his constituency can be a very dangerous creature.

Re: counting the votes – there must still be a back-up paper ballot that corresponds to the computer tabulation… so I don’t see a real concern at the time ballots are counted (usually in front of poll watchers/monitors) unless you have a really corrupt precinct/city like Philly… where they are blatant about their fraud.
I’m more concerned about the verification process re: mail-in ballots.

Who verifies the outer envelope against the voter reg database lists and then separates that outer IDentifiable envelope from the inner UNidentifiable envelope containing the completed ballot? That inner UNidentifiable envelope & ballot is tossed in a box and stored for weeks… until counted election day.
How do we know the election board staffers –that verify the outer ID envelope, then separate them/their ballots from the ID envelope — are trustworthy?
How do we know that the REAL mail-in ballot was put in the box for future (weeks) counting by the staffer? I see no reason why a fraud mail-in ballot couldn’t be waiting in a pile to replace real ballot in unidentifiable envelopes. It seems like a voters real ballot/vote COULD be stolen easily from them, replaced with a fraud Biden ballot. Ya just need an unethical partisan staffer doing the verifying.
And, a political operatives election board staffer COULD figure out from the Voter Reg Database he/she is using to VERIFY Voter ID
… which ballots are LIKELY Trump votes and switch a chunk of those w/Biden fraud ballots…and toss the fraud ballots in the box and the real ballots in the trash (or burn them).
Then….actual counting of the votes on election day makes little difference. The real Trump ballot was already switched with a Biden fraud ballot … at the time of verification weeks b4

And then there are many in all the private sectors to consider. There are lots of options available to form a good pool of qualified people if one ignores the current ‘political operating standards’.
As to the Senate not wanting to confirm any of them…that’s where our loud, proud, and enduring voices and actions should be heard, seen, and felt by the Senate. PT can not do this by himself, we must all take an active part. And of course there are other means of pressure that a President can bring to bear against a ‘Obstinate and Do Nothing Congress’, but they work much better with the power of a strong willed citizenry behind him.

SD, I love you Brother. I would however digress on one small yet important “s”. It should be “pies”. There is the obvious pie of finance that gets bigger under our VSG, yet the other pies (i.e. security, safety, nationalism, peace, etc.) grow larger as well. A bigger slice for each that sit at the table. It is enticing for leaders that care of their citizens. Those that refuse to join in freely are shown to be the children that they are.
Correct, it is fixable…by adults. My worry is not the children outside our borders but the impetuous children within. A tantrum of the bureaucratic DS bullies is fairly inevitable.

Anyway, Sundance calls the typical government approach to solving problems “traditional”. He is right in a way, given enough time things become a tradition. But, if you research engineering, which is simply problem solving, the government method is far from traditional. Trumps method runs very near the traditional engineering method.
Gather data, plan, determine cost vs benefit, test data, devise solutions, plan for implementation, test for correct solution, implement, and continue testing to verify the problem is solved within parameters developed. This is a concept completely foreign to most politicians but not to Trump because he did this in NY when developing his real estate. A key to this is the willingness to declare mistakes and stop or change the process.
Government hardly ever stops doing anything. If they do it is almost secret. What makes Trump different is no qualms about saying something is broken and doesn’t work. He also has no problem with government no longer hitting themselves in the head with a hammer. Stopping the pain is easy sometimes!

I’m probably too tainted as MAGA for the Office of Personnel Managment to accept a resume, and the FBI would certainly find that out when determining if I should have my clearances reinstated, but another four years in DC to do what tiny bit I could to restore the Constitutional Republic? Well, patriots have sacrificed much, much more than that.
In the meantime, I do my part to help at the local level–and throw sands in the gears as much as I can……
I’m done with Federal Clearances. It’s private industry contracts or I got enough projects at home to keep busy.

Every time I get discouraged about the leviathan we face, I remember the successful outcome of our Revolutionary War and the Spartans (with other Greeks) in the battle of Thermopylae.
Each exhibits how determination and strategy can overcome what seems to be the overwhelming might of an opponent.
I can’t think of anyone more suited to leading the effort than Donald Trump.
Unfortunately many will consider the administration a lame duck as soon as it starts. The problem is the globalists have already moved so far along on their Agenda 2030 plan that it will take generations to undo.

Many here think President Trump can succeed in this next term. I believe he can. But he is going to have to declare a national state of emergency. Using federal troops and maybe federal marshals along with state and local authorities to make the immediate changes. ie, closing down Langley, the DOJ and FBLie. There is also the 10-15 million intruders that need to be jettisoned back out of this country in short order. A state of emergency is what will need to take place in order to accomplish this huge task. The arrest and incarceration of those responsible for the treasonous actions from the Obama crime time until now can take place after the upheaval as listed above.
