CTH has stated several times that Texas is not as politically solid red as most believe; in part this is driven by the nature of how Texas politics are organized. The open primary in Texas is part of the political construct that permits Democrats to influence Republican races, and as a result controls the outcomes of legislative policy. AG Ken Paxton talks about how the Republican speaker of the house is decided by Democrats.
At the 7:00 minute mark of the video (prompted), AG Paxton begins discussing his own interactions with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as it pertains to his federal targeting by them. Attorney General Paxton does not pull punches as he describes a totally rogue FBI institution that is now fully weaponized against the interests of the American people. For us this is not a surprise {GO DEEP}; however, for the average person who is not as dialed in to the details of the corruption, these comments by Ken Paxton are a big trumpet siren.

Think Continuity of Government. The duty of the military under those circumstances is to secure national essential functions, not to run the country domestically. When people say military, it’s not because the National Guard is going to be running your local trash pick up service.
And they wouldn’t necessarily announce it either, if President Trump signed PEADS declaring a C of G situation (which I believe he did, based on his changes to C of G executive orders in late 2020, plus his personnel changes – Patel and Miller).
Who has the football?
Is Cheyenne Mountain open again, or still closed?
What if Space Force answers to the C in C in exile, in an occupied country scenario? Even if the Air Force and other elements of the Armed Forces don’t?
You might want to talk to some actual people in the military. Ask them: do they use pronouns? do they go along with the military’s vaccine schedule? do they know about the J6 prisoners and what do they think of them? is Trump actively President?
And then ask yourself whether these sound like people with more courage and sense than the average American, or do they sound like what you get after systematically removing intelligent, principled people from the military for decades, and super-accelerating the removal the past 4 years.
Not saying everyone in the military is messed up, but the burden of proof is on you – where are these military members with the numbers and power to stand up against the generals and how long have you been told “they’re about to act!” while America sinks further into destruction?
What you should be doing is finding and making good friends with America’s veterans, the ones who were in the military when it was a military. They know a thing or two.

Sorry, while MacArthur and Patton were certainly heroes when it came to fighting overseas, they were disgraceful at home when they used tanks and bayonets to attack thousands of WWI veterans and their families – the Bonus Army – in July 1932 in Washington DC; just following orders of a Republican president (Hoover). For over a hundred years since the turn of the 20th Century, at least, our government officials have done less to fulfill the contract between the people and government as written in the Preamble of our Constitution and more to use the unprecedented power of the state to protect their own interests above all else.

I live in a conservative, pretty much forever, county that was easily 2/3 for PDJT in both elections. That’s unremarkable across the wide swath of rural Oregon. As you stated in another response upthread, our battles are at the local and state level first and foremost.

Open primaries are such a bad idea the California law starting open primaries was thrown out by the California Supreme Court. Because it essentially is the state telling a private corporation (contrary to popular opinion the Democrat and Republican parties are NOT part of the government) how to run itself.
So they brought the law (and a lot of Californians) to Colorado and changed it slightly to say “oh, you can opt out of it – for two years – if 75% of the entire state central committee of the party votes to opt out, and two years later you have to do it again.” It is incredibly hard to even get that many of the state central committee to show up, so every absence is essentially a vote for open primaries.
It was incredibly complicated to explain to everybody – yet, patriots in Colorado communicated enough last year to come within a few percentage points of opting out ANYWAY (big surprise – it was our “elected” officials in the party who mostly voted to keep primaries open), and this year we are finishing the process. IT CAN BE DEFEATED EVEN IN A TRIPLE-BLUE STATE!

I worked in the ATD/DOJ 7 years in the Seventies.as a senior trial attorney. In thinning about that time, the most significant characteristic that distinguished it from the years afterwards was that many of the men I worked with then were veterans of WWII. Texas was ruled by dems for generations, ruthless, corrupt dems at all levels of government. The country does not remember or even know that Texas was a dem state until George Bush. How do you stop them: I will use this analogy: During the covid lockdowns when the police were abusing their powers on the people, someone knew who these police were and where they lived. All we had to do was harass them and their families in their communities and ostracize their wives and kids from any social activities. I will say that when enough of this would have happened, the police would have forced their superiors to back down. How would a wife react when she and her children are mocked and ridiculed every day. People may say this is extreme, but this is exactly what the D RATS do every day. We are at war now, you don’t play NICEY NICE anymore. Use the D RATS tactics against them.

The people need to get off their asses and get rid of the machines. Go to your state legislature and demand the end of machine voting. If they refuse then thousands need to show up at their next public appearance and demand they do what they are told. Make it clear if they defy the will of their voters they will soon join the ranks of the unemployed.

When they say there is election fraud, but not enough to change elections, ask them then why do pols do election fraud. It would be all downside (risk of exposure) with no upside (no change in elections). Give me a break. Of course election fraud changes elections OR THEY WOULD NOT DO IT.
