I think I will prepare a business plan offering the government–especially the US Navy, an opportunity to hire my new company/venture where we will examine why and how the $320,000,000.00 floating dock has not operated as designed and claimed (after it is lifted from the bottom of the seas and transported to a safe shore and the supporting ships that ran aground are retrieved and re-positioned correctly).
I think my charges will be in the neighborhood of $32,000,000.00 for a first phase inquiry, with options if more studies are required…(god, I just love options and of course “change orders” too!)

The turnout for that race was the highest of any of the Texas state rep races yesterday. Under our current laws, any registered voter in the House District 21 jurisdiction was qualified to vote in the Republican primary runoff as long as he/she did not vote in the Democrat primary on Super Tuesday. We could have had a bunch of Democrats stroll in and vote in the HD 21 Republican runoff. No RINOs necessary.

These Constitutional protections, and their flagrant violations here, are so basic, they teach them as basic Constitutional law in law schools. Every competent lawyer is aware of these principles.
And if they don’t convict, they will likely be blackballed for future work and business. That happened to many larger firms that wanted to help PDJT in the 2020 Election Theft. That is a purely political punishment.

I don’t think it’s irrelevant, especially not in NYC. Just because a Columbian immigrant can make a good citizen doesn’t mean they all get a pass. They do not have to be unanimous on what the other crime was: that’s the rule under NY law.

The argument made by the prosecution, and bought by Merchan, was to analogize to common law burglary — “Breaking and entering into the dwelling house of another for the purpose of committing a felony therein.”
There is a 40 year old NY state case saying the jury need not agree on what the intended “felony” was.
But “breaking and entering into the dwelling house of another” is malum in se, and the undefined felony doesn’t elevate the charge from a misdemeanor to a felony.
That is a pretty obvious “due process” violation under the 5th Amendment based on lack of notice.
So if they are not unanimous on the falsifying of the records, the other three potential charges are moot and they never need to consider them.

With respect to the “charges” against President Trump:
Problem is in this case there is NO Crime to be covered up at the end of those listed in the statuettes, per the FEC and DoJ, at the end of any business records covered in the trial. So, there is no foundation to the claims by the NY DA.
President Trump’s Company did not even use payments to Cohen as a tax adjustment or deduction.
The FEC and DoJ reviewed the entire chain of events covered by the false charges by the NY DA and the lying witnesses presented by the DA, to make that determination. Previous statements by the DA’s witnesses even stated there was no crime.
The NY Judge, in this case, disallowed the expert witness for the defense who would have described the actions and conclusions of the FEC and DoJ.
The NY Judge, in this case, sustained every objection, by DA Bragg’s Team, during defense corss examination of the DA’s witnesses that would have exposed their previous contradictory testimony and statements.
It is all a judge driven 1-sided fabricated illusion end to end.

There was no crime at the beginning of the case either. It is perfectly okay to log payments on an attorney’s invoice for “legal services” as “legal services”. If they weren’t that, it’s the lawyer who is committing fraud unless there’s proved conspiracy — and the records have to be something that matters, e.g. for tax purposes, campaign finance regulations, or some other kind of required reporting.
Not to mention, Donald Trump didn’t set up the accounting system, didn’t write the checks, and didn’t do the bookkeeping.

It was first reported that Alito will recuse himself from any Trump related cases, now it is reported as he will not step aside from any Trump related cases (which he should not).
SD is right, though, the knives are out for Justice Alito. I do not think the first (mistaken) report by NBC was an accident.

Tuesday, Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson sat out of a decision in Brunson v. Sotomayor, et al. Each of the three liberal justices was named as a defendant in the case. They did not provide a specific reason for sitting out and are not required to do so.
The case was brought by Raland Brunson, who attempted to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election and named the three justices as defendants for denying a writ of certiorari in a previous appeals case.

Mayo Clinic just lost in a federal court of appeals in a case involving it denying religious exemptions to Mayo’s vaccine mandates on employees. A lower court judge (Clinton appointee) threw out the case. The EEOC was even on the side of the employees and was either a party or issued favorable findings on the charges filed with it.

It seems the fake NY Trump judge didn’t give the jurors written instructions as is normal. They can ask to have them read again. My take is the fake judge doesn’t want anything in print.
Let’s see if any jurors ask for them. I’m not following the minute by minute so perhaps they already have. Quite an exercise in peer pressure psychometrics going on there.

Some of you may remember two days ago when I wrote about a very large, very VERY loud, parade of screaming crazies swaggering by in front of my house in a sleepy St. Louis neighborhood.
Today I called and inquired of the City clerk. No, they definitely did not have a permit. Yes, the police were aware. Yes, better that I stayed in my house out of sight. They actually left vandalism in the area, apparently mostly in the form of graffiti. The City clerk is determined to get it cleaned up directly, agreeing with me about the “broken windows” theory.
It doesn’t remove the threat from our lives, but somehow it was a relief to know that there was no official imprimatur on it from my little city.

The new note at 3:51 is asking to reread the judge’s instructions. They may reflect disagreements in the jury on the standards etc. The only reason to hear the instructions again is to clarify the standard if jurors are in disagreement. They are looking at 30 pages for transcript to read.
The request for instructions is particularly interesting. I cannot imagine a need for the instruction unless there was an early disagreement in that room on the evidence and the standards. That could indicate at least one juror who is not convinced by either Steinglass or Blanche saying that this is a no brainer.

The Israeli military announced on Wednesday that it had established “operational control” over the entire so-called Philadelphi Route along the Gaza-Egypt border, discovering dozens of rocket launchers and at least 20 cross-border smuggling tunnels there so far.
At a press conference Wednesday evening, IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said that the now-captured strip of land, which runs for a total of 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) all along the Gaza-Egypt border, served as “Hamas’s oxygen pipeline” for smuggling weapons.
Along the corridor, adjacent to the southern city of Rafah, the IDF said it has located so far some 20 tunnels that cross into Egypt. Hamas has been known to use such tunnels to smuggle weapons into Gaza, something the IDF believes it can no longer do as the military controls the area.
Some of the tunnels were already known to the IDF, and others were discovered for the first time. Some have already been demolished, and Israel has also been updating Egypt on the developments. Another 82 tunnel shafts leading into the tunnels have been located in the Philadelphi Corridor area, according to the military.
IDF troops are now physically located in most of the corridor. There is a small section near the coast where ground forces are not present, but the IDF said it is controlling the area with surveillance and firepower.
Most of the buildings in Gaza were built by the Israelis including the tunnels.
