US Cyber Command is a part of the DOD.
The US A/G is a civilian position and as such, other than POTUS, has no authority over the DOD.

A review of the types of “Operations” defined by the US DoD shows at least 2 of them place DoD assets under civil government control … outside DoD.
This is especially true of DHS, which was founded as “coordinating” agency within the Executive Branch of the US Government.
Also, the EVERY EXECUTIVE AGENCY within the Executive Branch of the US Government falls “constitutionally” under the command and control of the President of the US. The DoD is an Executive Branch Agency.
By the way … the DoD is headed and lead and staffed by “Civilians” who control the Uniformed Services within DoD.
This is the reason the key FBI directorate handling this case is from the FBI-INTEL side of the FBI Organization … same reason Crossfire Hurricane was and remains an FBI-INTEL Operation.
Idk about now, but there was a time when US Army INSCOM came under NO civilian control other than POTUS.

Hamas’ grisly terror raid on Oct. 7 has proved to be the single most stunningly successful act in gaining support for the Palestinian cause—not among Israeli or American voters, of course, but among top Democratic policymakers, and their counterparts across the Western world. One might think that a campaign of unrepentant killing, torture, rape, and hostage-taking would be disqualifying for a national independence movement. But in Washington, Hamas’ ongoing crimes have resulted in much of the weight of the U.S. government being brought to bear on advancing the cause of Palestinian statehood, and its correlate, the punishment and demonization of the Jewish state.
Months of U.S. backing for the Palestinian national cause have produced glorious results for Palestinian diplomacy. Whereas less than two years ago, at a meeting with President Mahmoud Abbas, President Biden had declared that “the ground is not ripe” for renewing negotiations between Ramallah and Jerusalem, the Oct. 7 massacres made Biden change his mind—and make the establishment of a Palestinian state with all deliberate speed a central priority of U.S. Middle East policy. Since Oct. 7, four countries have recognized the “State of Palestine,” with three European states indicating their intent to do so in May. That is more recognition than the PA has won in the entire past decade (notably, only one country moved to recognize Palestinian statehood during the Trump administration).

Recent polling data from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ has revealed that former President Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden in North Carolina by 5.4 percent in a three-way race that includes independent candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr, based on an average of 24 polls. Additionally, the polling has revealed that Kennedy is attracting more support from President Biden than Trump in the state.
Since January, Trump has consistently maintained a lead of 4 to 6 percent over Biden in North Carolina in the two-way race. Trump narrowly won the state in 2020 by less than 2 percent.

And he vowed to never pressure colleagues to vote against what they campaigned on or what is not in the interests of their constituents.
Scott said he thinks the GOP leader should be limited to a six-year term and that the appropriations process should follow a “realistic schedule” to keep Congress from relying on continuous resolutions and omnibus packages to fund government.
I’m with you. Scott hasn’t been a true conservative or really outspoken but more often than not he’s at least voted the right way. Much better record than compromised Rubio.

U.S. Court Rules University’s Covid Vaccine Mandate Was Illegal,
Opening Door to Massive Lawsuits – 21st Century Wire:
A Colorado university’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate violates the U.S. Constitution, a federal court has ruled.
“The Sept. 1, 2021, mandate “clearly violates the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause as interpreted by our precedents,” a majority of a U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit said in the May 7 decision. While the mandate was later updated, the newer version also violates the Constitution, the judges said.
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2021 required COVID-19 vaccination of all students and employees. It initially offered religious exemptions to anyone who checked a box, but later said administrators would “only recognize religious exemptions based on religious beliefs whose teachings are opposed to all immunizations.”
Officials, for instance, said that Christian Scientists would qualify for an exemption but Buddhists would not. They also said that exemptions would only be granted to people who never received any vaccinations.
Medical exemptions, on the other hand, were available if a doctor said the prospective recipient’s health or life would be endangered.
Seventeen students and employees, all of whose applications were denied, sued over the policy, alleging it was discriminatory.
U.S. District Judge Raymond Moore, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, in 2022 ruled that the plaintiffs did not show they would suffer irreparable harm absent a stay of the initial mandate, and that they had not met the burden of showing the updated mandate was not neutral.
The case against the Sept. 1 mandate also became moot because the requirements were updated, the judge said.
That ruling was wrong, according to the appeals court, in part because the initial mandate was used to fire two employee plaintiffs and Judge Moore placed the burden regarding mootness on the plaintiffs. …

“Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, New Jersey, owner Ian Smith kept his business open despite Gov. Phil Murphy’s COVID-19 lockdown and has finally been cleared of all charges, his attorney announced Tuesday.
Smith, along with co-owner Frank Trumbetti, were hit with more than 80 summonses and charged with violating a governor’s orders, operating without a mercantile license, creating a public nuisance, and disturbing the peace, Lehigh Valley Live reported.
Many of the charges also carried up to six months in jail, according to Smith’s attorney, John McCann. The gym had been ordered to pay about $165,000 in state fines for violating the public health emergency rules issued by Murphy and state Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli, according to the report.
The two gym owners faced state and municipal cases. McCann said now that the local charges have been dismissed he is trying to determine if the state fines can be refunded. “When you look at this, it didn’t make a lot of sense at the time,” McCann said. “It kind of looked like they were throwing everything they could at these guys.”

They’ll do it on the grounds of anti-money-laundering and financial safety. The gov’t will enforce laws onto banks (among the many ID and verification laws already mandated on banks) that if you don’t have the digital ID, you won’t be able to open, keep, or use a bank account.
If your refuse, you’ll effectively be locked out of society. Because in today’s modern world, you need access to banking services to survive.
Banking will be first. Then everything else in society will be linked to your digital ID.
Nothing will ever again be private. Just like in Iceland today, the government will know everything. Always. Forever.
So, are there ways to opt-out or protect yourself?
Yes, and also no.
It all comes down to having other options.
If you’re solely a citizen or resident of Australia and nowhere else, you will have no other options. You will be forced to stay in the ecosystem of Australia.
If you have a second passport however, you will have a second nation to fall back on to use its banking, economic, and social system if you don’t want to be forced into adopting Australia’s. You can still live in Australia, but potentially hold bank accounts in your other nation.
If you don’t have a second passport, but know you’re eligible for one via a parent, grandparent, or other means, I would seriously suggest taking action to claim it as soon as possible.
But what if you are stuck? Sure, you could leave Australia. But that’s not for everyone.
One backup plan that may help you for a while, is becoming an eResident of another country.
eResidency (or digital residency) allows you to access the services of another nation (like banking, etc) without living there. The two major eResidency programs offered today exist in the Baltic EU nation of Estonia, and the island nation of Palau.
You never have to go to either country to claim eResidency. It’s a background check, and a small payment, and you can be then sent a nationally-recognised ID card from that nation, that will allow you to among many other things, set up a bank account.
Simply search for “Palau digital residency” or “Estonia eResidency” online if you’re interested in either.
It’s not a perfect solution. It won’t completely protect you if your decision will be to stay in Australia long-term. On a long enough timeline—like in Iceland—you will eventually have to get Australia’s digital ID.
The government will make it impossible for you to live otherwise.
But having a backup plan—like a bank account, or money/assets in a location that is harder for the Australian government to access or block you from—might be something you are interested in.
And I’m all for having backup plans.
But again, the best backup plan will always be a citizenship/passport of at least one more nation, or at the very least, you having a permanent residency permit elsewhere. Somewhere that believed in citizens having freedom and privacy.

Political news of the day here in Ohio is that our Secretary of State wrote a letter to the DNC stating that if things don’t change there will be no democrat on the presidential ballot in November. Tell me if I am wrong, but that the tone I got was that he placed the ball in the court of the DNC. Also, I wonder if the DNC can state to Ohio that it is Biden before their convention – but, if they do this, will this negate the possibility of the DNC pulling a switcheroo at their convention in late August? This is getting interesting as the Ohio House has basically said they are not going to change the law… If they are going to pull a switcher, does this force it to be earlier than planned?
It’s really not a hard problem to solve. The Ohio law requires that each nominee be FORMALLY nominated. Usually, that happens at a convention when delegate votes are OFFICIALLY counted and the winner gets nominated.
All the DNC Ned’s to do is to EITHER move convention to a date prior to Ohio deadline….or do the official delegate count before the convention.
