I’m laughing thinking about leftists forced to listen to a Trump speech looking for “violations”.
Lately, the political left has been trying to shift the term “populism” to be a synonym for, among other things, “racism” and “xenophobia.” That was just one of the fallacies that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi trotted out during an Oxford Union debate last month in the U.K. where she received a well-deserved drubbing from opponent Winston Marshal. That was far from her only malapropism.
I loved his presentation on populism and how it is democracy in action today. Except for his defense of the stolen 2020 election and slap at Trump for not “accepting the results.”
I also suffered through Nancy Pelosi’s attack on populism. How she erected a straw man of “ethno nationalism” to distinguish today’s nationalism from the nationalism she claimed Marshall was describing as only fitting in the world of 200 years ago. She built that straw man, for which there’s no basis, and then endlessly bashed it. Typical leftist debate strategy.
The format of the entirety of the debate was heavily favoring anti-populism, the populist arguments were given much less total time. And from the applause during the different speakers the audience was largely anti-populist. Pelosi, who had the closing presentation, was given the loudest enthusiastic applause. The applause for Marshall was comparatively muted and polite. So the audience was stacked. Which makes it unsurprising that the attendees voted in agreement with the proposition that Nationalism is a threat to Democracy.
The video of Marshall is wonderful (his slap of Trump notwithstanding). More should see it, incorporate it into their communications.
Yeah, I agree with you about the slap at Trump for the 2020 election which WAS STOLEN! And the world knows it, whether they say it out loud or not!

I watched this yesterday. It was so fun seeing Nancy Pisslosi having to sit in there and listen to the FACTS about what the left is. RIGHT to her face. This young man will be in politics for sure. He has a huge grasp of the facts and threw it in her face. She tried to interrupt him at times too, showing how disrespectful she is and how she HATES The facts.
DJT is in New Jersey. My read:
1) Expanding the battlefield is an excellent concept, and I support a national campaign. It puts the enemy on the defensive.
2) Certified 2020 margin in NJ was Biden +15.9%. My revised margin is Biden +5.5%, making NJ one of the most fraudulent states in the country with an estimated 503,211 fraudulent Biden votes.
3) NJ was won by every GOP nominee from 1968 through 1988 but joined the blue wall in 1992 as the GOP became disassociated from the working class.
4) NJ is loaded with mail-in balloting abuse and has Automatic Voter Registration, which is the telltale sign of a blue state (Biden won 18 of 20 with AVR in 2020, 243 electoral votes to 9).
5) Trump’s polling numbers must mean that my estimate for NJ is close to reality, or he wouldn’t be campaigning there.
6) Trump would win NJ in a fair 2024 race based on trends and working-class coalition shifts alone. Unfortunately, this is the post 2020 election era and I think his campaigning in NJ is a feint maneuver to make the enemy divert resources.

I know my county Ocean and Monmouth vote 78% republican. Our counties are on the east coast and I believe all counties south of us are also republican. The problem is the city of Trenton (mostly African American) as well as the other counties up north close to NYC. Multiple (D)politicians have been caught paying for votes and thankfully charged. This is rampant in the majority minority (D ))controlled cities in Nj. We need to out number them in those counties.Or, interrupt their ballot stealing system of using illegal immigrants name and address to receive a mail in ballots that get picked up by mules for a small payment. The mules bring the ballots to the local coordination center who fill them out and drop them in a drop box . There is no ballot signature verification. We need hundreds of volunteers to sit next to a drop box and observe and photograph them dropping the multiple ballots they drop. You will notice them because they take videos of all the ballots they are dropping, so they can get paid. Just say thank you ,we are trying save democracy and are proud of the work you are doing. 😂

80,000 to 100,000 voters would disagree with you. They have friends and families who could not attend the rally. None of us can say how motivated the attendees might now be to step up and get involved in the election. None of us can say who was fence-sitting, and now isn’t.

I am guessing that the group of people sitting behind PDJT were sitting / standing in line with each other for at least 24 hours, as it was reported as such, and the man was just taking some last pics of his new MAGA friends that he’ll likely never see again.
It was the same for me in Schnecksville, PA a few weeks ago and standing in line for over fours hours. I met some very nice people and made ‘new’ rally friends, and when we finally got up to and through security we shook hands, hugged good-bye and wished each other well as we knew that we would prolly not see each other again.
