How is the Key Bridge disaster any different than the East Palestine rail disaster? It seems to me that both are major accidents involving federal thoroughfares, whether railways, waterways, or interstate bridges. But Norfolk Southern Railroad has had a giant spotlight on them since it happened, and they have already had to pay plenty in restoration and damages, and will continue doing so now and for years to come.
For Biden to grandly announce that the govt (taxpayers) will foot the bill bristled me the wrong way. We may end up paying for some of it. But as with East Palestine, they should be pursuing a rebuild through the guilty parties and their insurers. As Margaret Thatcher observed, it’s easy to be generous with other people’s money.

Could write a book on this. Short answer is you can’t. …not by yourself. What you can do as an individual is to learn the “rules”, i.e. the Constitution. Then elect those who show knowledge of the “rules” and promise to adhere to them.

harm, unique to these new election laws, you must be able to show that IF you prove your case, if you prove “X” # of ballots are illegitimate and must be thrown out, that there are enough such ballots to change the outcome.
The second change that works hand in glove with this, is a challenger must file their challenge w/in 10-14 days of the election, and at that time be able to submit proof to pass this “standing” test.
THIS is why almost none of the 2020 election challenges survived “standing” and why we must go back and completely re-write (UN-write?) current State Election laws.

Think of the phrase ‘stock up’ as delineating sufficient assets to support one’s life, and that of their loved ones as appropriate, for a period of transition to a different form of lifestyle and community interaction.
My current state, with no human loved ones alive anymore, is a year. Concurrent with that plan execution, I have trained myself to live on what I’ve ‘stocked up’ for at least six months now with no venturing into the ‘normal’ world most people take for granted.
Just yesterday, a neighbor I was walking with mentioned potassium. I told her I hadn’t seen the banana she mentioned in at least six months and instead consume potassium supplements or extract it from the choice of supplies I have. She looked at me kind of funny. Then I asked her about the herbal remedies she uses instead of medications and smiled 🙂
Digital currency, if enacted, definitely could be a long term thing. However, if it becomes employed as a weapon to target certain groups or individuals, then I would expect adverse action relevant to that to begin very quickly.
I’m dealing with it by cultivating alternative methods of commerce with like-minded people. Imagine the Amish before they went commercial. That kind of long-term thinking, adapted to the 21st century.

Agents are supposed to supply their ID’s, credentials, shields etc upon request when they identify themselves. The woman rightfully contacted the local authorities and probably completed a field report documenting the situation. The agents should be disciplined or counseled but won’t be. This was in fact an act of deception and intimidation under color of law.

Where my wife works at, there’s a nurse, that’s a friend of her’s that is missing. Her car was found a few blocks from her home in Vancouver Washington. The morning she went missing she called in and said she would be late, she never showed up. This was a few days ago.
My wife is very heart broken and in a state of deep contemplation. Yesterday she asked me to go grocery shopping with her, I think she’s fearful of just how crazy and evil the world has become and she wanted my protection. A new report has found that 68% of small business owners say Gen Z employees are the “least reliable,” while 71% say they’re most likely to have a mental health issue in the workplace.
One of the employers surveyed spoke of Gen Z’s “absolute delusion, complete lack of common sense, and zero critical reasoning or basic analytical skills,” according to the Freedom Economy Index report conducted by PublicSquare and RedBalloon this month.
Less than 4% of those surveyed said Gen Z was the generation that most aligns with their workplace culture, while 62% said Gen Z’s were most likely to create division and toxicity in the workplace.
Another employer surveyed said the generation is “expecting promotions for simply showing up every day.”
What’s more, 57% of those surveyed said that Gen Z runs the most risk of creating a workplace lawsuit.

As an adjunct to this article, while channel-surfing Friday evening, happened upon the PBS Washington Week panel discussing “a $60 “God Bless the USA” Bible complete with copies of the nation’s founding documents so invested time in a program that this household does not waste time watching.
Derogatory comments, assumptions, presumptions and typically leftist opinions permeated the entire segment. An article posted at NPR (“Cash-strapped Trump is now selling $60 Bibles, U.S. Constitution” – Rachel Treisman – 3-27-24) appears to have served as points of discussion for the panel that included a comparison of President Trump’s church attendance being sporadic versus Joe Biden’s being weekly; a comparison of struggling campaign funds for President Trump versus the well-funded Biden campaign; and, the personal financial plight of President Trump’s legal expenses.
Ultimately, the skepticism about profits from the sales of the Bible being used for President Trump’s reelection campaign emerged despite the Bible website indicating the sales and website are not political and nothing to do with any political campaign. That distrust was underscored by finding it necessary to point out the website “uses President Trump’s name, likeness and image ‘under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC’ that has President Trump “listed as the manager, president, secretary and treasurer of CIC Ventures LLC in a financial disclosure from last year.”
For the record, a bit of research shows that Mr. Greenwood tried to promote the Bible in 2021 without success due to problems with publishing; publishers would agree to publish then “reverse their decision due to separation of church and state” as well as having business partners drop out. Mr. Greenwood and President Trump have been friends for many years and he found “a publisher and marketing partner in the former President Trump to move the production and sale of the Bible forward.” If it possibly took the formation of CIC Ventures LLC to help Mr. Greenwood get the Bible published, God bless President Trump!
To this point in time, President Trump has done his best to keep his promises to the American people so to question his statement that profits will not be going to his campaign is inappropriate. Based on the sarcastic headline of the NPR article, it is clear that NPR and PBS appear to hold sway to a specific partisan bias rather than nonpartisan using government-funded taxpayer money.
