While everyone says that the looming commercial real estate crash is nothing to worry about since, well, everyone’s been worrying about it for so long and nothing bad has happened yet (except for the whole regional bank crisis last March when virtually anyone who is not JPM almost imploded), every day we get a new and more shocking foreclosure or default.
Today, it is the infamous Brooklyn Tower, the 1066-foot building, sometimes called the Eye of Sauron, which is the tallest in all of Brooklyn. According to marketing materials from JLL, Silverstein Capital Partners has scheduled a foreclosure auction for 9 DeKalb Ave., JDS Development’s Brooklyn Tower.
JDS took out a $240M mezzanine loan from Larry Silverstein’s firm in 2019 as part of a $664M debt package to build the 93-story, 1,066-foot tower in Downtown Brooklyn. Yet despite what the media said was a flood of interest in the property, less than five years later, JDS has defaulted on the loan, according to the foreclosure notice, first reported by ten31 on X, triggering the foreclosure auction, scheduled for June 10.

Illegal ‘migrant influencer’ Leonel Moreno, who mocked America on social media in several viral videos, has been nabbed by federal immigration authorities.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) fugitive operations officers arrested Moreno in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday and he is currently being held at Geauga County Jail, according to ICE records.

We see the above quotation every day, and perhaps it has lost its impact for some of us, but today please consider it in the light of Holy Saturday’s Descent into Hell.

Abraham Lincoln’s restoration of the Republic – whatever that might have been (one can assume it would not have been a Socialist/Communist revision) – was of course thwarted by his assassination.
Nevertheless, the Union was restored, and America became a place of great accomplishment, helping to push the world into the age of the airplane, the rocket ship, nuclear energy, etc.
America was not a perfect place, of course, and there was corruption in government (the later 1800’s, “political machines” in New York and other cities, etc.) and in business, but it seems that, in general, America was still a moral, diligent, and creative country, where self-importance was suppressed by self-improvement through belief in God and through accomplishing great goals.
With the creeping influence of Envy and Greed via Socialism/Communism, America has seen the rise of The Corrupt and The Incompetent throughout its society, accompanied by the general decline of Religion.
“America is great, because America is good,” wrote Alexis de Tocqueville.
One realizes that America cannot become great again, unless America becomes good again.
A personal resurrection of energy and accomplishment coming from a renewed faith in Divinity is the first step to “restoring the Republic after it has fallen into corruption.”
America rebuilt itself after a terrible war with massive casualties and destruction: whether it can rebuild itself after a massive spiritual and psychological onslaught from Socialism/Communism, Corruption, and the Elevation of Incompetence is a question which we must answer in the positive.
The alternative is a gray future of mediocrity and enslavement.
I agree that it will take a supernatural miracle to get the US back to what it was before its total subversion by the CCP and “the long march through the institutions” of neo-Marxist/Maoist Postmodernism.

Of course, he was the guy who thought of that slogan, but Antonio Gramsci was the godfather of Cultural Marxism that describes that technique: “Gramsci spoke of organizations including churches, charities, the media, schools, universities and “economic corporate” power as organizations that needed to be invaded by socialist thinkers.”
Unfortunately I’m not religious, so I don’t believe any miracle will save us and see Armageddon as a more likely future for the world due to human nature and even a passage in the Bible that says Satan rules the world who is, in this case, largely represented by neo-Marxism/Maoism.

Regime media are screaming loudly and with remarkable energy to anyone who will listen that there is nothing to see here. Die Zeitcomplains that it is “A Gift for the Conspiracy Theorists”; Der Spiegel declares that the protocols have caused “great excitement” but contain “little that is new”; and tagesschau have their own writeup on “the RKI files and the scandal that isn’t one.” All of these pieces are very long on special pleading and very short on direct citations to the documents in question. When it comes to lockdowns and mass vaccination, the incuriosity of our journalists knows no bounds.
arl Lauterbach, Europe’s dumbest health minister, is having a particularly bad time. He started the week claiming that the protocols were extensively redacted primarily to protect employees from the “hatred and agitation” of the people they work for; the RKI, he said, worked “independently of politics” and “saved many lives during the pandemic.” He also blamed “foreign governments” for promoting “conspiracy theories” relating to the protocols in social media.
As so often, Lauterbach had misread the room. The virologist Hendrik Streeck noted that “entire pages relating to the vaccines have been blacked out” and said he found himself “asking what the public isn’t supposed to see here.” FDP politician Walter Kubicki, meanwhile, called for more transparency and demanded access to the unredacted documents. He also renewed an older request that the RKI release their heretofore secret “Stop Covid” study, which according to Lauterbach shows that the German management of the pandemic was a fantastic success and saved all manner of lives, but which for some reason he has refused to let anybody read. It was at this point that the chancellor’s office had enough of the terrible publicity and forced their arrant minister to stop embarrassing an already widely loathed government. Suddenly Lauterbach promised to release his secret (and presumably deeply stupid) study at the end of the year, but his minders must’ve told him that wasn’t good enough. Now he says that was a mere typographical error and that he’ll provide it by the end of the month. He has also changed his tune on the RKI protocols, promising to re-issue them in “substantially unredacted form” and professing a newfound devotion to “full transparency.” I for one am enjoying Lauterbach’s public humiliation and hope that it continues indefinitely.
All the while, German Twitter continues to investigate the releases, finding in their many pages ever new reasons to doubt Lauterbach’s claims that the RKI operated purely scientifically and independent of politics.

It’s getting more and more difficult for me to believe that this pandemic wasn’t intentionally started and then inflated for political purposes.
I learned of this topic because of a news blurb of the Baltimore mayor, I think, saying that there needs to be more attention paid to immigrant worker safety, a diversion from the topic of possibly illegal aliens working, in this case, for a road work contractor.
All six of the dead are from Latin America and I’d bet dollars to donuts came here illegally. This needs to be thoroughly investigated, but won’t be.

Hispanic workers are more likely than other racial and ethnic groups to die on the job, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, with construction being a particularly deadly industry.

Why I don’t spend a lot of time on the Republicans:
1) There is a enormous army of MSM reporters already going after them from every angle, with most major news organizations little more than proxies for the DNC, to the point where stations hire Biden spokespeople as anchors;
2) The Republicans have very little institutional power nationally. It’s not their point of view prevailing in schools, on campuses, in newsrooms (where over 90% of working reporters vote blue), and especially in the intelligence and military apparatus, which has openly aligned itself with Democrats. Even if Donald Trump were a “threat to Democracy” he lacks the institutional pull to do much damage, which can’t be said of Democrats;
3) The Democrats’ ambitions are significantly more dangerous than those of the Republicans. From digital surveillance to censorship to making Intel and enforcement agencies central players in domestic governance — all plans being executed globally as well as in our one country — they are thinking on a much bigger and more dangerous scale than Republicans. I lived in third world countries and the endless criminal indictments of people like Trump and ongoing lawfare efforts to prevent even third party challenges are classic authoritarian symptoms. The Republicans aren’t near this kind of capability;
4) Last and most important, the Democrats are being organized around a more potent but also much dumber, more cultlike ideology. People like Yuval Harari and his Transhumanist “divinity” concept scare me a lot more than the Rs, and I was once undercover in an apocalyptic church in Texas. Ask your average Russian or Cuban what overempowered pseudo-intellectuals are capable of.
I have a pretty good record of picking dangerous phenomena ahead of time. I feel confident on this one, and that’s before we get to the demographic/class shifts in the parties.
