WASHINGTON – Wisconsin Republican Rep. Mike Gallagher plans to take a job with the data analytics company Palantir after his sudden retirement from Congress next month, according to media reports.
The Green Bay Republican said last week that he would leave Congress April 19 after initially saying he planned to retire at the end of his current term. A Puck News reporter soon after said Gallagher told people he would take a job with Palantir, the data analytics and security firm started by Peter Thiel. Forbes later reported Gallagher planned to take a job with the company.
