Did you by any chance look at who is running against Mike Rogers? Justin Amash and Peter Meijer – complete disasters. There is a field of 13 GOP candidates.
Amash and Meijer have money behind them. They will likely be among the top vote-getters. With so many candidates running, there will likely be a runoff. Of the candidates other than Amash and Meijer, who have any chance of winning, Mike Rogers is probably the best choice of some very bad choices.

Last fall, hospitals in Chicago were mandating masks for employees entering patient rooms. Hard for some not to comply.
When a patient has Covid, a doctor entering that room is exposed to the aerosols that the patient is breathing out and has been breathing out for a while. An N-95 or KN-95 mask does provide protection to the doctor or nurse.
I have a doctor friend who wears an N-95 mask in patients’ rooms when the patient is positive for Covid. He has never gotten Covid and doesn’t want to get it.
He never wears a mask while at a hardware store, farmers’ market, or similar because he says that in such circumstances, a person isn’t exposed long enough to enough virus to cause Covid.
If you don’t want to wear a mask, that is fine, but it is also fine if someone for some reason wants to wear a mask. It’s not my problem or your problem if they choose to do so, unless some idiot politician or administrator makes a blanket requirement that all people MUST wear a mask.
I tried to avoid the mask as much as possible…I caught covid a year ago…mild case.
In the people’s republic of Chicago…your low info co workers would throw you under the bus…Its happened to me…not pleasant…
Your Dr. friend is apperently ignorant of the difference between the size of the covid virus molecules/particles whatever, and the size of the pores in the N-95 mask.
However, he IS doing a great service, by clearly communicating to any potential patients, that have educated themselves regarding the size of the virus vs. the size of the pores, that despite his degree he is as dumb as a sack of rocks, something for them to take into consideration, when deciding whether to avail themself of his services.
He has never got Covid because despite being stupid about masks, he’s not an idiot; in Jan. of 2020, when first reports came out of China about Covid, he PROBABLY did what all Dr.s did; went on Pubmed, read the research and wrote a Rx for Hcq. to take as a prophlyactic, for him and his family.
After all, in a pandemic, medical personelle have an obligation to protect themselves, SO THAT they can minister to those afflicted.
When PDJT first said “Hydrochloriquine” I was awaiting my order of HCQ and AZT to clear customs, ordered from India.
And I first heard about it, indirectly from a group of Drs. who as I say were all Rx it for themselves and their families.
I then went on pubmed read the research and ordered it. i.e. “How I know”.
As I intentionally have no “healthcare Insurance”, I can pick my own Dr.’s, and any that demand I wear a mask, like any who give no discount for self pay, automatically disqualify themselves.

You don’t need to know what a nm (nanometer) is to know the N95 mask can’t filter out the virus.
It can only filter something three times larger. In relative terms, it’s like trying to use something that can only filter out something the size of a softball when the virus is the size of a golf ball.
Or as another example, using a chain link fence to try to keep mosquitos out.
Or using a window screen as an umbrella during a rainstorm. You would get all wet.
I like this comparison the best because any water initially trapped in the screen would totally soak you with the slightest movement/adjustment of the screen. Any virus that initially got trapped by the mask would simply build up there and totally soak you with a huge viral load just like any water that initially got trapped by the screen.

Well … the good Doctor said the mask is part of a “layered” approach to COVID protection. Those are called weasel-words … for the good Doctor to hide behind when confronted by his misinformation.

WOW! I am really, really surprised at the ugly name-calling through the responses. I called nobody names, condemned nobody for any belief that they had or anything they chose to do.
I will try to explain, though from other responses, I’m not sure anyone is willing to read.
Developing Covid requires that a person gets what is called “a significant viral load”. How much is a significant viral load – this varies from one person to another depending on the condition of their immune systems, but “a significant viral load” means you get a lot of viruses. If you get only a few hundred viruses, your body can destroy them in the nasal passages, the mouth, or the eyes so that they don’t replicate.
An N-95 mask doesn’t prevent all virus from getting through. But it does prevent part of them because a large number of those tiny Covid viruses are attached to much larger water vapor that people also breath out at the same time. That may be enough so that a doctor who is in a patient’s room for only a few minutes with the usual good ventilation system as in doctors’ offices and hospitals doesn’t get enough of a viral load to develop Covid.
This friend doesn’t require patients to wear a mask……I never said that. I said that he wears an N-95 mask when he is in the room of a Covid patient. It has worked for him.
If you want to visit for several hours a day in sick patients’ rooms when they have Covid or any other viral disease, you are certainly welcome to rely on whatever you want.

Virus’s need warmth and moisure to live. The wearers exhalation is going to keep the mask warm and moist, and their inhalations are going to draw any virus floating in the air, from the patients exhalation, right into the pores of the mask, where they can accumulate until, like the windowscreen umbrella, they dump a major viral load, right into the mask wearers upper respiratory tract.
Try as you might, you really can not justify n-95 masks, for preventing the transmission of respiratory viruses.
And no one an justify the insanity of mandating mask wearing, especially for children, or really any/all of the Public Health officiald responce to Covid.

When you have seen several thousand patients with active Covid, visited with them, treated them with the most well-researched treatments available, and have done this day in and day out for several years now, and have never worn a mask throughout and have never gotten Covid, then you might have a right to judge how dumb he is or isn’t.

It actually makes no sense to wear masks -N95 or no- without being fitted for goggles, as well. Airborne droplets are as likely to land in our eyes as they are to land in our nose or mouth.
And while we’re at it, we may as well don hazmat suits to avoid contamination of our clothing. The bottom line is that regular hand washing and avoidance of touching our own faces greatly reduces viral transmission. Masks and other coverings not only give wearers a false sense of security, they serve as visual reminders of our continued weakness in the face of their *escalating* tyranny.
During prolonged Covid lockdowns, the security personnel in our local ER directed visitors to remove their disposable gloves and dispose of them at the entrance. The hospital identified disposable gloves as contaminants. Instead, visitors were directed to wash their hands frequently.
In any case, Zinc, a Zinc Ionophore and vitamin supplements like C and D are known to prevent viral surges in respiratory illnesses like Covid-19. We must stop obsessing about germs that are here to stay, so that we can ALL begin to live our best lives -as a FREE people- again.

N-95, and K-95 are respirators, not masks.
The Covid-19 virus is smaller than the openings in a N95 mask. They are nearly useless.
COVID 19 virus particle size is 125 nanometers (0.125 microns); the range is 0.06 microns to .14 microns; the N95 mask filters down to 0.3 microns, or over 2x larger which allows the virus to get through.
The N-95 mask does NOT stop individual viruses floating around in the air. It DOES stop little droplets of water that contain viruses and bacteria (not just COVID). Look at the “fog” from your breath on a cold day. We are all doing that all the time, breathing out water droplets that are normally invisible. Think especially about someone who is coughing and what he or she is putting out in the air. In an enclosed room with a sick person, there are likely to be millions and millions of little water droplets floating around, which anyone coming into the room will breathe in. Especially a person who is going room to room, who could spread an infection (not just COVID), it makes sense to mask up if you’re going into a room with someone who is known to be infected. But outside of that environment, it’s excessive. I think the doctor probably knows what he’s doing wearing a mask in a known infected patient’s room, and he’s not just protecting himself, he’s protecting everyone else. He probably wears a disposable gown too.
Six years ago one of my sisters had to have her hip replaced. She’d lost her hearing when she was 10 years old, and refused to learn American Sign Language. Instead, she learned — on her own — how to read lips. She stayed in a hearing school throughout it all, and continued to get straight As, too.
It takes my sister a few minutes with each new person she meets to see how they form their lips and move their mouths to know what they are saying. She has to read them first before she can read what they’re saying.
When she knew she’d be staying in the hospital for five days she asked if I would come stay with her — the entire time, day and night — so she would have an advocate to make sure she’d understand what was being said. With new docs and nurses coming in and out all day and night, she would not have time to figure out how they were saying things to know what they were saying.
They put a cot in her room so I could sleep in there with her, and things were going swimmingly, until one day a bunch of people came into her room and put up MRSA warning signs, and a temporary changing station outside her door. Every person who entered her room needed to mask-up, put on a clean gown and shoe coverings, and put on disposable gloves. And when they left they needed to remove all those things and throw them in a hazmat container outside her door.
So there I am, freaked out big time. Every person looks like they’re an alien and my sister is being treated for having MRSA besides healing from her operation.
I asked the doctors, ‘What about me? What I am supposed to do, since you know my sister has MRSA and you’re treating her for it? What am I supposed to do?’
Their answer? Nothing.
I didn’t need to do anything.
I could come and go from her room all I wanted. I could roam the halls of Mayo Clinic freely without a peep being said. But WHOA! to anyone who worked at the hospital if they did such a dastardly deed.
Sheesh, if the virus could be spread by someone’s clothing, why was I allowed free range to spread it throughout that “prestigious” institution? If my shoes could carry it around, why wasn’t I told to cover them? And if I could have caught it via my sister’s breath, they should have told me, because without a doubt, they would have been held liable by me — for lying — if I had caught it.

She consulted a lawyer who told her that had she become ill/diagnosed with the infection while still in the hospital she could collect a settlement – he affirmed this is very common – but since she was home for a couple of days prior to being diagnosed she would be unable to prove she acquired the infection before she left the hospital; incubation time post-exposure routinely disregarded & denied by ‘the medical experts’, apparently. They dodge responsibility/accountability for iatrogenesis whenever possible; it’s one of the things they are absolutely best at.
She had holistic medicine knowledge, and knowledgable friends, so she overcame it, but she was very ill from it. Knowing her experience inspired me to learn about it for future reference, just in case.

However, your argument that either experience or training, in and of itself, makes the Drs judgement superior, is weak.
The list of errors, iatogenic deaths, etc. caused by experienced, trained professionals is too long.
Its entirely possible early on he “caught” Covid, had no noticeable symptoms, and developed natural “herd immunity” and from that point on was in no danger of getting infected, and wearing a mask had notbing to do with it.
As I said earlier, when you have visited in the small rooms of thousands of patients with active Covid without a mask, then I will listen to you call someone who wears a mask under those circumstances “dumb as a sack of rocks”. Until then, your argument is moot.

Since many Covid sufffers now have minor symptoms, I wear a Sonovia mask from Israel. Its zinc and silver coated and can be washed 50 x .
I also have N95 masks and I sometimes wear those. If theres a lot of Covid in the community in Australia, I limit my exposure and if I have to go out, I sometimes wear both as the Sonovia mask goes right up to your ears. People who have had Covid and who have had the vaccine shed the spike protein so whether you like it or not, in any closed space you will inhale that spike protein (passive immunisation that was engineered to be like that)
I have never had Covid.
I also take Quercetin, Bromelain, curcumin, Nattokinase Vits B C and D and Zinc, NAC and fish oil dailyas well as horse paste every few days and daily if I think I have been exposed. I have so far finished 26 + tubes of actual horse paste and Im still ok.
BTW those blue hospital masks do not work at all. They are made in Chyna, allow particles to penetrate and are ill fitting.
If they mandate asks at work they should supply body armor to make it home. I know which one would save more lives.
I had the same issue last year when visiting my Mom in a NY nursing home. I put on the mask to get in the building. Then pulled it below my chin when visiting my Mom in her room. When asked by a nurse, I told her that masks don’t work, it restricts my breathing, and most important of all, my Mom suffers from dementia and I want her to recognize my face while she still can. Nothing more was said.
It ends when ENOUGH citisens refuse to comply.
And when thst happens, those in charge STILL won’t admit they were wrong, they will engage in one or more forms of denial; either ignore thr issue entirely, and just move on, OR actually deny that they ever MANDATED masks in the first place.

I did not comply throughout the whole scam. people looked at me askance, others (very few) who were defiant came up to me and said they were glad to see someone else on the same page. I was asked to leave a few places, I didn’t have to but my parting shot was “OK you don’t want my money, it’s OK with me.”
Most disheartening was the day a little girl yelled at me “you need to put on a mask” poor little thing was so angry. I just smiled. Her dad looked like he was proud of her.

That article is conflating two different events. One event was the Houthis firing at US ships 3 missiles which were shot down.
The other event was the Houthis firing at a tanker, Pacific 01. At least one of the missiles hit and caused damage to the ship, but none of the crew was hurt.
A hypersonic missile travels at a much higher speed than conventional weapons. It will be very hard to shoot those down.

The story came from RIA Novosti. They got their hypersonic missile story from a Houthi official, who is most likely Abdul Malik al-Houthi. It seems unlikely he would have talked to any Western news media like the Washington Post or New York Times. Maybe the Houthis view Russian news media as more friendly.
What motivated the Houthis to “divulge” their possession of hypersonic missiles? Wouldn’t it be a better strategy to keep it secret until time to actually use it to sink a US warship?

The Houthi-controlled area in the west is led by the Supreme Political Council. There is also a UAE backed area led by the Southern Transitional Council.
It seems that the $5.4 billion from USAID would have gone to the internationally recognized Yemen under the Presidential Leadership Council and not to the Houthis.
But, if the Houthis gained the $5.4 billion or a significant portion of it, where would they buy their hypersonic missiles?
The US is developing them but doesn’t yet have a war-ready arsenal to sell from that we know of.
(Why would the US sell hypersonic missiles to the Houthis when the US Navy is actively fighting them?)
Iran claims to have hypersonic missiles, but how to confirm? Possibly they would sell the Houthis some. But that technology is very advanced, and Iran would have to furnish advisors. There are reports that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps has advisors to the Houthis.
One motivation for Iran is to give the Houthis hypersonic missiles to test them in actual war conditions.
But it seems that first Iran would have the missiles, which is still uncertain, and the Houthis would have significant funds, which is possible, but not likely the $5.4 billion in USAID, and then lastly the Houthis would be able to learn how to use them from advisors sent from Iran. I doubt the Houthis are that advanced to use the hypersonics effectively.
All of these events coinciding seems like a long shot. And I don’t see where the CIA would be needed or could play a role in any of it other than spreading disinformation.

I don’t know the location of where the cables crossed the Red Sea, but possibly this information is available somewhere. The timing of the Rubymar sinking and cable cutting is coincident. Could the Rubymar anchor have dragged against the cables and damaged them?

And likely there are CIA operatives (most likely mid-eastern assets) in Yemen. I just doubt that those assets can transfer hypersonic missile technology to the Houthis. And I also am skeptical of their involvement in communicating information to RIA Novosti about the hypersonic missiles.
The Russians probably have techniques to verify who the official Houthi leaders are and RIA Novosti would likely only deal with them rather than agents attempting to pose as officials.

This video reports that on Saturday US warships shot down at least 28 Houthi drones. This is the biggest drone attack yet. This illustrates that while the US Navy has the ability to shoot down drones, this comes at great cost. The SA-2 missiles cost around $2 million, while a drone cost about $2000.

Conclusion
The USD 1.048 Quadrillion Play of derivatives remains colossal at 23 times world GDP. Even if 1% of the derivatives pyramid loses counterparties because they have become insolvent, that is more than 10 trillion dollars of a black hole. If that 1% becomes 5%, that is more than 50 trillion dollars, ie, more than the GDP of the entire world.
The possibility of a house of cards collapse is still very much on the table, and should one begin, the flexibility of governments to avert it will have been reduced by the enormous debt they’ve run up trying to paper over the first wave of The Great Unwind and The Great Reset (note that term being used in a 14 year old article – W).

WInston, do you know of any independent financial consultants or lawyers who could verify this claim of senior claimant? whether from you or others the last few months, i have read about this a few times and take it seriously, but its always from the same source, basically…
i’d love to see some other experts opinion on this claim. its the type of thing that one cannot put past these fascists, but also worth seeing other analysis, IMO. i’ve actually gone to the terms of some of my financial assets themselves, though not an expert, and read through these portions. while there is a risk there, it is limited to certain asset classes and companies, at least that is my take.
That hypothetical worst case scenario where title to your assets are stored electronically. Bank,stock accounts, title to your transportation, title to your house. In the name of keeping the country solvent, overnight everything transferred to the state so they can provide services.
Most people have the title to their car, unless they are still paying for it, which, it seems, is part of what they are talking about.
And if you own your home, but don’t have the deed in a locked, fireproof safe, with a few copies saved elsewhere, that needs to be done asap.

Just finished watching this documentary.

Things that stuck out to me were —
— when he spoke of how everything you own, that you actually own free and clear, can still be taken away as though it belonged to someone else — if that person or company has written that item down on their “assets” inventory. I understood a car company not remembering to take your newly purchased car off of their inventory sheet, thus making the vehicle susceptible to repossession (or you’ll own nothing and be happy), but how would they do that with a house or land?
— when he said people got through the depression fairly unscathed when, and because, they had no debt when it started. Didn’t seem to matter where they lived, or if they’d ever been farmers, it was having no debt that was key to making it in one piece on the other side.
— how FDR forced everyone to turn in their gold, only for it to then be given to the Federal Reserve (already rich people getting richer), and how today gold is not the underlying collateral it was in the 1930s, but instead securities are. I’ve heard every ounce of gold has been sold a hundred times over, and only one of 100 people actually own that ounce of gold.
— when he said the app on your phone that you will use to buy things (when Mad Max goes live) will not be a way for you to access your money to purchase things, instead you will be taking out a loan and building debt that they will eventually use against you.
— when he said the first big bank failure happened in 1930, followed by smaller bank closures, that led to FDR closing all the banks in 1933. A short time span of failures to be closely watching.
And I found it most interesting when he said towards the end of the documentary that rich people think they are “special,” implying that they will be untouchable when the crash comes. His next words were most poignant, “You are special, they’re saving you for dessert.”

The documents from the Feds were already available to SDNY when they decided not to prosecute Trump. For Bragg to now bring them into his case is so out of bounds that he should be sanctioned by the court.

There are 5,500 District Attorneys in the United States. Can you imagine what it means if any one of them or all of them can second guess and ultimately OVERRULE the decisions and actions taken by the President of the United States once he leaves office?
Under the Constitution, no local county DA can indict and prosecute the President of the United States for actions he took while President and within (at the very minimum!) the outer perimeter of his official duties, ie, taking care that the laws of the United States are enforced!
This case should have been dismissed by a Federal Judge a week after it was filed. Can you imagine county prosecutors second-guessing the actions of the President and then overruling those actions via a criminal prosecution when he leaves office? We wouldnt have a President or a country anymore.
Only the President of the United States is elected by all of people.

Much of what is termed post-modernist architecture actually has a humanity and warmth to it. One of my favorite buildings is Frank Geary’s Disney concert hall in LA. The stunning stainless steel exterior of curving-intersecting pieces of paper make a heroic artistic statement (a very human endeavor) … but the building also functions beautifully INSIDE for its intended users – a large assembly of people and music. And the interiors have a warmth to them that is belied by the cold stainless exterior.

Peter Hitchens, brother of the late Christopher Hitchens, tells the story of his return to the Christian faith in his excellent book, “Rage Against God”. He clearly says that the contrast between modern architecture and the beauty of the old buildings was one of the things that convinced him of the existence of God. It is a fascinating book that I highly recommend!

In free enterprise, the old rule is that the customer is always right. That’s a wonderful system sometimes called consumer sovereignty. Its advent in history, dating perhaps from the 16th century, represented a tremendous advance over the old guild system of feudalism and certainly a major step over ancient despotisms. It’s been the rallying cry of market-based economics ever since.
What happens, however, when government itself becomes a main and even dominant customer? The ethos of private enterprise is thereby changed. No longer primarily interested in serving the general public, enterprise turns its attention to serving its powerful masters in the halls of the state, gradually weaving close relationships and forming a ruling class that becomes a conspiracy against the public.
This used to go by the name “crony capitalism” which perhaps describes some of the problems on a small scale. This is another level of reality that needs an entirely different name. That name is corporatism, a coinage from the 1930s and a synonym for fascism back before that became a curse word due to wartime alliances. Corporatism is a specific thing, not capitalism and not socialism but a system of private property ownership with cartelized industry that primarily serves the state.
The old binaries of the public and private sector – widely assumed by every main ideological system –have become so blurred that they no longer make much sense. And yet we are ideologically and philosophically unprepared to deal with this new world with anything like intellectual insight. Not only that, it can be extremely difficult even to tell the good guys from the bad guys in the news stream. We hardly know anymore for whom to cheer or boo in the great struggles of our time.
