Alright, alright, alright. All the right people are pearl clutching as the new MAGA RNC leadership starts eliminating positions, reprioritizing the Republican National Committee on the functions that matter, and canceling professionally republican vendor contracts.
Essentially, the business end of the professionally republican RNC is being taken apart and retooled as a more election centric operation.
WASHINGTON – Donald Trump’s newly installed leadership team at the Republican National Committee on Monday began the process of pushing out dozens of officials, according to two people close to the Trump campaign and the RNC.
All told, the expectation is that more than 60 RNC staffers who work across the political, communications and data departments will be let go. Those being asked to resign include five members of the senior staff, though the names were not made public. Additionally, some vendor contracts are expected to be cut.
In a letter to some political and data staff, Sean Cairncross, the RNC’s new chief operating officer, said that the new committee leadership was “in the process of evaluating the organization and staff to ensure the building is aligned” with its vision. “During this process, certain staff are being asked to resign and reapply for a position on the team.”
The overhaul is aimed at cutting, what one of the people described as, “bureaucracy” at the RNC. But the move also underscores the swiftness with which Trump’s operation is moving to take over the Republican Party’s operations after the former president all but clinched the party’s presidential nomination last week.
Trump’s campaign took over operational control of the RNC on Monday. On Friday, former North Carolina GOP Chair Michael Whatley was elected the RNC’s new chair, and Trump daughter-in-law Lara Trump was elected as co-chair. Both had Trump’s endorsement. Additionally, Trump senior campaign adviser Chris LaCivita was named as the RNC’s new chief of staff. (read more)
Oh dear, vendor contracts are being cut.
I am holding my enthusiasm for now especially since I just read that what Rand Paul said about Trump’s endorsement of one Michael Rogers in MI, a senate candidate. I know it is not the same issue as the RNC “clean out”, but it speaks to my own caution over Trump’s judgement.
You should feel more caution about demanding someone, any human being, must be 100% perfect. Go with the 80:20 rule.
But then folks can’t pretend saving our Republic will be at the hand of Miss Congeniality.
I agree with the 80/20 rule, but the way I look at it is we must realize none of us gets everything we want.
This doesn’t have anything to do with being perfect or not. The reality is President Trump must make deals. Most of us in our lives must as well.
What I admire about President Trump is that he can make deals with people who hurt him, his family, and our country. That’s what adults do. I for one have a hard time with that. But year after year, our President keeps working for the good of us all.
Wise words, thank you.
Well up to this point the Democrats have gotten everything they want.
They didn’t get what they wanted in 2016. They didn’t get what they in Russia, Russia, Russia. They didn’t get what they anted in trade agreements. They did steal an election, but at a huge price because many people now realize the level of corruption. I could go on (if you think more about it, you’ll see that is true).
Now, the dimocrats aren’t getting what they want either in terms of putting President Trump in jail. They aren’t getting what they want in making President Trump go broke. They are costing him a lot of money and time and effort. But also at a huge cost of yet again making many people recognize the horror we are living in and that our country is nothing like many people thought. And it could be said, getting more and more people to join MAGA. Same could be said about all the people they’ve brought across the border and Ukraine.
They try to convince you they are powerful and that they are winning. They do that with the corrupt media and by keeping other reporting from getting out. Start reading alternative news sources. For example, you will learn a lot about how many people are making changes in the election process.
Don’t allow yourself to be defeated by their propaganda. Become informed and also know it will be a slow go. We’ll get hurt. We’ll lose sometimes. But if we fight we can win because we have the numbers. The alternative is we lose because we believe they are so strong and we don’t try.
100%
Hardly, they got Trump for 2024.
Look what they tried to do to prevent that . And are still trying. So now, Democrats are not getting everything they want. Plus who would want Bide nand Kamala Harris again and it sure looks like they got that too.
Trump has proven he does know the art of the deal – they typically come out in his favor. Some times it is a long wait to finally see those results. But many who took on Trump, ended up eating humble pie.
You don’t send in firemen to put out 80% of the fire.
I am thinking that Rogers was the price for Mitch McConnell’s departure.
We may not know what it is, but there is always a deal in what Trump does. No sense in giving it away for free.
Politics makes for strange bedfellows. Sometimes you have to ally with your enemies enemy.
Sometimes you have to play the game and sometimes you have to “play” the game; I suspect this is a case of the latter rather than the former. The 2024 edition of DJT is not the same one that existed in 2020 or 2016; he’s aware of the pot holes.
Nice try, but readers here know that President Trump must make deals to achieve his goal. He is a genius at making deals that further our cause.
The downside is this gives people like you — people who live in a fairytale world where people always get what they want — an opportunity to slip a knife in his back. If I didn’t have to suffer along with you, I’d almost hope you get what you want.
You are aware that Rand Paul is supporting Justin Amash, one of the more outspoken Repukes when he was in the House who supported and voted for Trump’s impeachment.
Then post elsewhere. We don’t want to hear it. If you aren’t clear on what the choices are– go do some more research.
So, you are for Bidet then? The choice could not be clearer. You need to evaluate your situation better.
Rogers was the best choice of the three Republicans in the primary. Better a full-blown RINO than give the seat to a Democrat.
The Art of the Deal – in living color. Orangeman Good.
Mike Rogers knew who Obama was spying on. Way back in 2016. He was key to the whole Obama in-house snooping scandal. Perhaps that is why.
I felt better when SD put it in perspective.
Clean house, not so fast. The RNC has about 200 employees. 60 let go and replaced? What about the other 160? All TRUMP supporters ? Don’t think so.
Prepare for more disappointments
There will be no Republican Ragnarok
There will be a new configuration as Trump Maga takeover the RINO and GOPe and make them work for Main Street
Think mRNA but in politics
It sucks, but winning means deals
Is there ANY evidence that President WarpSpeed’s 4-D Chess Judgement has improved?
No it isn’t the same. The RNC clean up is one of the most important political moves we’ve seen, almost forever, against the Republican establishment. For years all I’ve heard from many Republicans is how they hated and never contributed to the RNC because it was useless and untrustworthy. The same complainers thought we should form a new Party, which I never agreed with. Trump has done in one fell swoop all we could wish for at the national level and the effects will be felt all the way down the chain. This is huge and we should be celebrating it as a coup against the establishment GOPe.
The strategy Trump uses means he has to decide about more than just the candidates given him to support. We have a Senate and House to control and I’m sure much of his decision making has to include that dimension as much as who the candidate is.
In my reading, small tho it is, all 3 are not MAGA candidates. But Rogers is the best if these worst.
Said “bloodbath” is nothing more than a shrewd corporate takeover by a famous billionaire, and a productive one at that… this is common fare and seen as a good sign… finally, smart fiscal governance. Bye bye cosmetic surgery, outrageous flower arrangements and other unnecessary expenditures.
Power on Whatley, Trump, LaCivita, Cairncross…
Well. It is what it is, but I’m worried about saboteurs in mix. Has anyone noticed the severe change in pattern of aggressive bot solicitations coming from that disaster called “WinRed” that solicits for the RNC?
I have had seven bot messages dumped on my iPhone just this morning. Stupid, facile and ludicrously unserious and juvenile solicitations for money from WinRed.
This is a brand-damaging scheme of abuse of WinRed donor lists by technicians deep in the beast. To some extent I might raise more money in the short term, but being spammed with facile bullshit to hell and back, every day, is bad business and NOT a good faith behavior in pursuit of donations. Disingenuousness is just another form of dishonesty.
I would put nothing past the evil duplicity that prospers in DC political culture. This misuse of WinRed by faceless bot operators spamming facile phony messages in a way damaging to the reputations of the republican politicians being exploited in name as first person creators of the false and dishonest message begging for money is not the right strategic path. Instead, such is more consistent with self-destructive behavior being perniciously amplified by what can only be described as bad actors in the weeds of the system.
How rotten is the RNC. How deep does the culture of sloth and parasitism go?
WinRed is the portal into a sick, sick culture. Flush it all. Swirl every turd.
WinRed was the worst – how to alienate every single person who sincerely wanted to help Trump and the GOP. I had to file a complaint with my credit card company for fraudulent misrepresentation, to cancel a donation.
Quite possible this was a “parting shot” by the DeSantis type arseholes, that KNEW they were going to get the boot, when Ronna did.
Yes, I made a donation to President Trump through Winred, and the text messages have been constant for years now, despite daily sending them to spam. It is so annoying that I’m considering getting a new phone number. It is definitely a DISINCENTIVE for me to ever donate ever again.
Rule number one: don’t annoy your donors with daily spam, sometimes hourly spam.
And like you said, I’m not even sure it’s Winred, but the contractors that Winred makes its list available to.
I’m even getting pleas from local politicians who reside in other states! It is an absurd level of spam.
I mail payments. I wish I could do that for CTH. I have been compromised. The fraud dept. I dealt with cautioned me — no online transactions ever. If I can mail donations — I do bigly. This is so inconvenient — but beyond my control!
Have you tried to reply with “STOP”?
These are coming from hundreds of different campaigns, hundreds of different phone numbers.
Stop one, and another comes in . . . as far as I can tell, Winred has sold/given my information to hundreds of campaigns.
And it’s all RINO campaigns, or mostly. Tim Scott et al . . . Nikki Haley . . . nonsense candidates spamming me. I only gave to President Trump through WinRed, and now they all want money from me. They have been pestering me for years.
If you look at Winred’s site, you can see that many people have complained about this.
WinRed denies it is doing it. They say they have no control over the campaigns they give your information to.
Had to block them -they are awful.
I blocked them, but the contractors or whoever they sell their donor list to . . . are relentless. I report every one of them to spam, and yet every day, there it is: a new text from some politician, often from another state, asking for money. Sometimes, it’s every hour. Infuriating.
NEVER use “winred”. Go directly to candidate sites & contact them. These are the money changers we need to get rid of because they take a big percentage of donations for BOTOX, FLOWERS and commissions. Count on it.
Unsubscribe solves that.
In my experience as a consultant, mergers often would look something like an army of lawyers showing up with paper payroll and severance checks in their pockets and on the other side of the property job interviews would be taking place. Saw it happen at BNY Mellon Boston and State Street Boston.
Excellent news. After running the RINOs at the national level out, they need to boot the RINOs at the state level too. The party must then focus on securing the elections and getting real republican candidates into the upcoming 2024 and beyond elections.
We may have booted out the old guard from our local RNC, but since this is the state of the Long Count we won’t know for several more weeks. SEIU election office workers still have thousands of ballots to count, or discount. One week after “election day” in California.
“Trump’s campaign took over operational control of the RNC on Monday.”
That hits hard.
The surrender has begun.
“Vendor contracts”… like the funeral home providing the flowers? Those were expensive flowers!
Anyway, GOOD!
If the RNC was and NFL team, you might say they just signed Lara Trump as the GM/President of football operations. Now let her get to work cutting the “veterans” who won’t buy into the new culture and upgrade the team through the draft and free agency. All RINO’s must go.
Please belay my last. Apparently, Lara Trump thinks the best way to ensure Republican success is to increase efforts to out ballot harvest the Democrats. Rather than cleaning up voter rolls, demanding voter ID, one day, in person voting, and totals counted by hand, she thinks we can out cheat the cheaters. In the words of the aging Pete Townsend of The Who, “meet the new boss, same as the old boss.” Apparently, Lara will get fooled again.
I noticed that earlier, too.
I still have some hope that either she’s only pretending to be stupid or that she’s not actually in charge of anything important, and the real work will be done elsewhere. If they’re reforming the RNC, why make pointless changes?
Otherwise she’s insane by Einstein’s definition (doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results). Or she’s corrupt. We’ll see.
Well said Lark. But it’s possible that both things can be true. She’s definitely stupid. Maybe she’s corrupt also.
Broken Arrow,
What do you base your claim that, “She’s definitely stupid” upon?

Thus Ronna’a crocodile tears.
Winning!
Interesting news about the RNC the other day noted that the email list, if I understand correctly, went from 3m to 50m starting right before Trump entered the scene. Of course some of these are negative but just imagine if the RNC were to reform itself into an America First organization and every email address gave just one dollar.
Not much risk to give one dollar is there? If these reforms take shape and are perceived positively, would 5 dollars be a big deal for most? Not trying to solicit, just talking about the impact if the RNC were to actually work for the people.
Unfortunately there are some states that need their GOP “parties” to be ruined. Minnesota should be at the top of the list with the defeat of every single statewide office losing to democrats. The MNGOP, under chair David Hann, also lost major city councils, the state senate majority, and everything else except dogcatcher. Even with this massive defeat, the RINO swamp re-elected him as chair.
The State Central Committee which has the authority to remove the chair has tried twice and got close but still too many swampers to do it. Maybe a request from the new and improved RNC might swing the balance.
Interesting dynamics,…in most States, MAGAfocuses on getting a MAGA State Chair, only to find they are totally usurped by the State Party Executive Committee, you are saying its the opposite?
I was on theMNGOP Exec Committee in 2016 when the NeverTrumper chair almost got Trump eliminated from the November ballot because of a missed deadline. Most of the 8 delegates for the 8 CDs were pro-Trump. Minnesota outside the Twin Cities is bigly for Trump.
This is one of the only sources of news on all this. Our chair recently decided that an entire county, Ottertail, of newly elected delegates are invalid and is trying to stop the grass roots from taking over and removing him.

A4L is one of MN biggest America First orgs and the swamp does not like them at all.
Now THIS is something to smile about!
This is how you drain a swamp. Get ready for 2024. This is just a trial run.
Next get rid of Peggy Noonan, and her totally out of touch drivel at the WSJ. Force her to read the Biden-Hur transcripts 24/7.
The sooner the better!
Peggy Noonan has seemed out of touch for more than 20 years.
WSJ is owned by an Australian billionaire who hates President Trump and has no love for America, why read it?
We want a winning team at the RNC; not a losing status quo RNC team. They are Republicans. They can deal with this. RNC is now a no whining-zone.
WinRed intentionally sabotaged the entire RNC operations, and Trump campaign fund raising.
Great! About freaking time!
Let’s hope Harmeet Dillon’s plumb legal defense contract is one of those axed!
I expect investigations and harrassment by the ptb and the IC into Michael Whatley, Lara Trump, Chris LaCivita and Sean Cairncross to begin in…3……2……
Just in from the AP: DNC ANNOUNCES HIRING 60 NEW STAFF AND VENDORS
Probably some of those fired from the RNC. Mercenaries all.
Yes – I’ll believe it when I see it. Trump better be more shrewd about who is near him.
He is shrewd. And seasoned.. What is your excuse?
I hear the Lincoln “Brigade” from 2020 needs to find a consistent source of funding so they can feed George Conway and have his sty regularly mucked out. Maybe they should hang out by the toll plazas near the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges in Queens with their palms out.
Get ’em all outta there. AMERICA FIRST only candidates.
Great news, but we need Trump to state EXACTLY who to send our money to.
Nobody trusts WinRed.
Donald, tell us please where to send our donations and know it’s going to the right place.
I think everything should go to the new MAGA RNC, and let the vetted MAGA officers and DJT decide who to support on the down ticket.
These beggar texts have caused a lot of us to withhold donations and become skeptical.
It’s got to stop!
Show us they way and we’ll support wholeheartedly.
MAGA!!
Sundance, I always like to read the ground report from other states that might know the lay of their land better than anyone else.
https://dailyhaymaker.com/team-whatley-planning-to-install-simmons-as-party-chairman-trump-supposedly-wants-this/
I got directed to this state news page by a funny item someone sent to me and read this every now and then to get another perspective of a different state.
The donkey should be facing to the right, to better depict what is actually going on. The Repubs have their noses up the Dems butts. Cool Trump logo!
They going need more smelling salts and swooning couches…
Does this mean RNC will no longer be LOSER-Centric?
Republicans need to drop the toxic Abortion issue that lost them the women’s vote in recent elections. With the presidential election projected to be close again, it is absolutely essential to not let the Democrats claim the pro-Abortion vote so popular among young women.
if I wasn’t seeing it and living it, there’s no way I could believe it.
A better term than “bloodbath” would be “mole-purge”.
There needs to be a bloodbath at the RNC, which has totally lost sight of what their job actually is supposed to consist of. They have focused on their own wealth and comfort and lost sight of what matters. It isn’t thousand dollar hotel rooms, massive bouquets of flowers and mind boggling priced dinner parties. Nor is it private aircraft trips or slapping each other on the back for achieving nothing. It’s about winning political races, which is something they lost sight of about 5 or 6 years ago.
One must remember there are three political parties Trump must deal with: Republicans, socialist democrats and RINOS.
Trump is the guy to ruthlessly get rid of the dead weight and the Rhinos- the Dems are devious(they campaigned their last candidate from the basement to hide the start of his cogiative difficulties and look where we are now…Bring in the sharks! We have to make this an even fight.
Only 60 heads will roll?
So the Limo wont be picking up us this Friday night ?
