An early airplane departure meant landing in tidal water or stuck on mudflat hoping that the tide was not coming in anytime soon.

Biden is getting 80% of the vote in some states, including several primary/caucuses which occurred prior to today.
That is very, very low support for an incumbent and in normal times would be a death knell.

Report from Central Maine. This area CD 2 went for Trump in 2016.
I worked the election and here are the results. We are in a very small town with about 150 registered voters. We had a total of 32 ballots; 27 Republican and 5 Democrat. Two of the Dems voted for Trump. Nimrata received received 5 votes. The remaining 22 went to Trump.
Man on the street comments were quite revealing. A lot of people were shaking their heads and are very concerned about the country. I was surprised by the level of candour expressed.
I will say I was disappointed by the turnout as I expected (hoped) more people would turn out to slap the Sec of State here in Maine across her face.
Not sure what will happen downstate where the libs dominate.

Nothing surprises me in this state anymore. I rent an apartment because I don’t have enough money to buy a house. It’s an endless cycle. Rent goes up and wages don’t keep up so I can’t save a considerable amount, and home prices are skyrocketing. You get the picture.
I’m trying to find a place closer to my parents in Wisconsin. I’m hoping I can move there later this year or next year.
There are TONs of good high paying jobs here in Southern California. You’d love climate and the ocean. Jobs start at $25 hour at MacDonald’s so salaries are much higher at the major employers like Scripps, Hoag, Intuit, Rivian, etc!!! Rents are going to be more but there’s plenty of people sharing apartments and condos here. Food and other items are the same as Minnesota and Wisconsin!
Minnesota has heating costs while South California has a warm climate. A lot of money saved.
