I’m not sure exactly what the motive is behind this, nor do I fully understand how it ties into the FISA-702 renewal effort by the insufferable HPSCI Chairman Mike Turner, but everything negative being said about Michael Shellenberger is accurate.
Trust me, if there’s one person on this planet right now without the time to deal with this nonsense, it’s me. However, from what I can ascertain, Shellenberger is reciting old information dug up by independent researchers on the Spygate operation as it pertained to the CIA, FBI and larger IC.
Shellenberger is then claiming “sources” have confirmed the CIA ran intel operations against the Trump campaign in 2016 using foreign assets and foreign intelligence partners. This is old, old, very old, information being repackaged as if it was new information and sold to an audience for the price of $9.99 subscription. In my opinion, it’s a complete con.
I have no idea who this Shellenberger idiot is, nor do I really care. You cannot plagiarize me because I give all the CTH research and analytical writing away free – openly telling people to take it and make it their own, just don’t monetize it.
It appears Michael Shellenberger is a man of low moral character who is taking the independent research work of others, repackaging it and selling it as his own work product.
This activity is likely because Shellenberger, a leftist, didn’t believe it when the Spygate researchers were tearing apart the preferred narrative and delivering atomic truth bombs in 2017 and 2018. Suddenly, as the weight of the truth comes forth, there is no denying what was previously proven. Everything Shellenberger is claiming now is a rehash of old information, repackaged and sold to a duped audience for $9.99 each.
Everything he claims is new, isn’t. It’s all previously cited, sourced and disseminated information. It’s pretty low-class to try and dupe people just to make money, but hey… that’s what some people do.

Some cats, lost or abandoned by their owners, will insist on staying where they were last with their owner.
People who have taken them in and rescued them are forever having to go get them again, in some cases having to go a few miles to retrieve them.
It is true that cats will return to their last home. When I was 7, we moved across town, about 2 miles as the crow flies, about 3 by car. My father had befriended a homeless Tom, often battered and bruised from his battles. The cat would disappear for a few days, returning to sleep in our bushes at night. In poor weather, they made him a bed in the garage.
If the garage got too cold, my dad would take him into our house where the cat was happy sleeping on a wooden dining chair. Although he had never hurt us, his Tom cat raspy vocals were a bit intimidating so Dad was the only one who picked him up, scratched behind his ears, and carried on a conversation with him.
My mother had told the family and our neighbors, “Frank understands this cat and the cat knows it. After all, he ] didn’t settle down until his mid-thirties and it looks like Frankie (yes, we named him after our father) will do the same.”
When I turned 7, we moved, the last family member, Frankie, having been gently put in a carrier was placed in the car. My parents thought they had carefully planned out the transition from the old house to the new for Frankie, but he bolted first chance he got. We spent that day and the whole of the next looking for him to no avail.
We were not very wise to the ways of cats in those days, not as we are today. Thus, we didn’t know that, unlike a dog, the cat was likely to travel back to the old neighborhood. We alerted our neighbors, who assured us they’d keep an eye out for him.
IIRC, it was about a week later when we got word: “Guess who’s waiting for your dad in the bush next to the front porch?” Frankie, pretty hungry.
The vet told us our mistake was letting the cat out of the carrier before making sure he understood that Dad was going to be staying at this new house from then on. He said it would only take the cat a few days of seeing my father and the family were staying put and he’d stay put as well. And he did. f
I look back on that and think how stupid we were, but that’s what you get when you don’t understand they aren’t dogs.
We love both. Cats will sit with you when you are sick, place their paws on you to comfort you, sense your moods. They’re great.

Ironically, I was listening to the Bongino podcast the other day on which he was talking about this report as if it was new news. The ironic part is that Bongino reported everything Shellenberger – I think he also mentioned Matt Taibbi – was reporting back when it was happening. He even wrote a book about it called Spygate.
He specifically said it was NOT news.
Bongino did play a tape on Friday of Biden bribing/threatening the former President of Ukraine, Poroschenko, to fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma, the company Hunter was paid $1 million/year to sit on the board. Bongino kept referring to this tape as “new news”, and “never heard before” . That was not true. I have heard the tape many times before on other new programs.
I listen to his radio show every weekday including this past Friday’s show and he did NOT say that the Bidumb “well son of a b***h” audio was “new news”. Stop your prevaricating.

It was previously packaged as originating as a Hillary and her hired law firm Perkins Coie operation. Now, it appears to be packaged as originating as an Obama/Brennen Intel operation.

There was never any debate that both were true.

Well, actually the Obama operations started with the IRS attacks on the Tea Party. As that was hitting the fan, 2012, it morphed into abuse of the NSA spying on Americans. Sundance has explained all this. He also told us how Admiral Rogers tried to stop that NSA spying abuse, and how it shifted to law enforcement abuse.
Just getting the FISA warrant allowed them to legitimize all the previous illegal abuses. At least those against Trump.
I do think there are many more details and proofs that can be reported on. But I am disappointed that we are not actually getting any. When was the request made? What did the 5 eyes actually do? How much of that was used by the FBI and the Special Counsel?
Did this happen in 2015, before they believed Trump would win? Or only after Rogers shut their previous spying system down?
And there is a little detail I keep in mind. Lots of the victims were on a list Sessions released of Trump’s Foreign Advisors. How does the list compare? And, why did Mifsud first target Papadopoulos before the list was released?
Remember, it was Australia focusing on Papadopoulos relating what Mifsud said that was part of the justification.
But, lots of prior legal investigations were thrown into Mueller’s hodgepodge investigation. Manafort, Flynn, these long predated any of this. They were resurrected.
And Halper was a US CHS. Not likely to be from 5 eyes.
What the first of these new reports was based on, is actually multiple interviews with people who had seen these documents, not actual proof of the documents. The people were part of Nunes/Patel investigation. They had to breach multiple silos, and this part of the team worked in the CIA SCIF silo, which was supposedly the only place with proof of Brennan’s request.
The next was Brennan’s abuse of the ICA. Sundance has been on this for years. So have others. So much was based on the phony assessment that Russia had actually helped Trump. They hadn’t and we knew they preferred Hillary. But Brennan created a lie so we could impeach Trump, and call him Putin’s stooge. That lie has marched on, and is believed even now.
There was going to be a third, but I either missed that or have forgotten it. Putting things behind paywalls stops them from getting serious coverage.
I would love to have intrepid reporters dig up more solid proof of the nefarious Obama’s actions. Even if it is just an unredacted version of Collyer’s report that had the outline of the organized NSA spying abuses.

Handing these foreign intelligence agencies a target list of 26 Trump associates. These 26 Trump associates were to be bumped, meaning they would be approached by assets, bumped into. And these interactions and relationships would be reported to the FBI as suspicious. These were people the CIA considered easy marks like George Papadopoulos, a 20-year-old.
Foreign spies didn’t discover evidence of Trump-Russia collusion and turned it over to the Feds. Foreign spies were assigned by Obama’s CIA to create a false impression of collusion, to trigger an FBI counterintelligence investigation. Obama’s CIA worked with Hillary’s foreign agents in London to hatch the hoax which led to the FBI investigation, the illegal wiretapping, the Mike Flynn sting. And when Trump got wind of it, the Comey firing. Then Comey leaks the memos which triggered the Muller investigation. The Muller investigation was designed to cover up for Obama and Hillary and tee-up impeachment.
It failed on impeachment, but the cover-up worked. Until now. New reporting by Matt and Michael revealed that House investigators had discovered the root causes, but their investigation and all of their documents were confined to secure rooms in Langley. When Trump was leaving office in those hectic final days, he attempted to declassify this material which started a battle between former CIA director Gina hospital, the Department of Justice and the National Archives. The report says someone may have taken this binder of material exposing the entire intelligence community out of Langley. And it may have been what the FBI was looking for when they raided Mar-a-Lago. Others say that is not true. But the point remains. The Obama Biden white house, their CIA and FBI director launched an illegal preemptive war against democracy, got caught, and have been covering it up for eight years. Shellenberger and Taibbi also said redacted FOIA documents suggested that Biden has been conspiring against Donald Trump with the intelligence committee to prosecute the former president in federal court. Which would be an impeachable offense.
As I recall, Fox News Channel fired Judge Napolitano when he reported a source disclosed that US Intelligence Community was using the “Five Eyes” network to spy on Trump, the Trump Campaign and the new Trump Administration. This was March or April 2017, I recall. Seems to me this is the same story Shellenberger is running now.

Michael Shellenberger was one of the very first to publicly criticise the Global Warming and renewable energy nonsense. He has published books and articles on the topic and is hated by the left for it.
