Tonight, the republican primary voters of New Hampshire will choose their candidate. Polls close between 7 pm and 8 pm ET, depending on the city or town. Results will generally start being announced around 8:00pm ET
New Hampshire requires a valid reason to cast an absentee mail-in ballot, so most voters will appear in person. Same-day registration is allowed. Voters who are registered with a party will be provided with that party’s ballot, and undeclared/independent voters will be able to choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot. Voters had until Oct. 6th, 2023, to change their party affiliation. The state’s 22 Republican delegates will be allocated to candidates proportionally based on the final vote count.

Just watching tonight’s victory speech. Trump asked Vivek to come up and speak …while warning him to keep it to a minute! YES!!! That was my problem with Vivek last time he got up there. He talks too much and too long. Trump also called Vivek “perfect,” with a hint of snide in his voice and a wink to the audience.
For me that was a moment of truth.
Just from that one observation and exchange, I want to believe: Vivek will NOT be Trump’s VP choice. Trump is keeping him close, using his considerable talents and watching what’s lurking within that guy. He’s useful and Trump plans on using him. How? Maybe he’ll be given the same role Kellyanne Conway had in 2016. Run the whole general campaign and be a rousing interface with the media.
