Additionally, with DeSantis failing in the objective to win Iowa, it looks like the Christina Pushaw group of online influencers, herself included, have been dropped as a priority from the campaign strategy.

“When Nikki Haley fails to win her home state, she’ll be finished and this will be a two-person race,” Andrew Romeo, a campaign spokesman, said in a statement. “We’re wasting no time in taking the fight directly to Haley on her home turf.”
But the move showed that Mr. DeSantis was all but giving up on competing in New Hampshire, where his poll numbers have been abysmal, trailing in the single digits far behind Mr. Trump and Ms. Haley. (read more)

Every poll I’ve seen has the DeSantis vote split between Trump and Randhawa if he drops out. So Trump gets into the mid 60%’s and Nimrata Kaur gets all the way up to the low 30%’s. Fact is Trump’s support jumps up high enough that the Establishment mouthpieces lose their ability to say he doesn’t have the support of nearly half of Republicans like they do in current numbers. At a certain point in the campaign, it became clear to me that Vivek’s continued presence as a candidate could only work against Trump’s effort and it was my opinion that it was time for him to move from declared opposition to surrogate. Bravo to Vivek for recognizing where he would be most useful to the cause.
But Ron is right now right where he needs to be – dividing the anti-Trump vote, thus weakening that effort. The time for Ron to make official what has been clear for some time now – that he is not the alternative to Trump and never has been – will be after Haley has been defeated in her home state of South Carolina. At that point, even the corrupt state media will not be able to carry her along and it will be time for Ron to go.
Perhaps Ron can find himself again and be a factor in the future. But he’ll first have to check his ambition and remember that loyalty and gratitude, trite though they are in our jaded, “sophisticated” society of today, are still eternal values of importance to millions of people. Maybe Ron will reflect then and a real character, not one bought and paid for, will begin to develop. God is good and he offers second chances where the heart is willing. Time will tell.

Watched a recent speech of Haley’s in NH. It was 7 rows of chairs, people sitting down. The rare applause was less than tepid. It gave me the feeling that it was a bunch of Democrats that were paid to attend and would have rather been home. Haley has no support based on that 45 minutes.
