I certainly wish more people were aware. When my lifelong Democrat Mom moved here three years ago I got her to start watching FOX News, yes I know but baby steps were warranted. She has since come to understand the difference in reporting and the clear bias. She still watches one of the top 3 networks in the morning and has noticed they don’t report on the criminal wide open border. My response was, “you don’t say” and what else aren’t they reporting.

My tempered views – the first step is to rid the military of the terminally woke and overly political ranks of what should be leaders and, where appropriate, they should be tried by a military court under the UCMJ. The 2nd is for the new leaders, both civilian and military, to formally apologize to the men and women of the armed forces for what was done to them. The 3rd step is for said new leaders to eliminate the marxist, communist, WEF, and DIE policies – a significant portion of which has been in place since Dopey first squatted in the WH – and reteach the principles and concepts upon which this great nation was founded, including those of duty, honor, hard work, self- sacrifice, and responsibility – things which those who wish to destroy our nation falsely and with malice label with such terms as “whiteness”, “racist”, “toxic masculinity.”
Unfortunately at this point in time the 4th and final step may take some time – the healing of the fractures and wounds, both between service members and within them. The trust, the common vision, and the unity have suffered grave damage. To further underline the point of common differences, while reading a recent analysis of the legal aspects of Georgia’s Fanni and her farcical prosecutor events involving PDJT, the writer commented that Fanni’s lover had billed hours that indicated he had worked 24 hours in a row. The writer stated it was obviously a lie, because working for 24 hours straight was “impossible.”
It was more often than I care to remember that we worked for closer to 72 hours at a level of focus and intensity that the average person can not even obtained for 1.

I believe I was called out a bit last year when I made some dumb comments about a process I didn’t understand. I don’t know much. It must be that because I cannot get excited over the deficits. We are nearly reaching a trillion dollars in interest and I just do not care.
I have a friend who took out a loan from a bank to start a business. The bank, which is Wells Fargo, advanced a couple 100G’s at around 7 to 9%. My friend signed a contract which required life insurance with the bank as the beneficiary and, upon his death, the business belongs to the bank, if the loan is not paid off. The contract has a schedule to repay the loan. This is clear as a bell and standard. There is a lender, a borrower, and a contract with additional reassurances, ie, life insurance.
It is not clear to me how the Fed is creating the currency, to whom the debt is owed, and to whom the interest on the debt is paid. But, I will give it my best shot.
The Federal Reserve prints the money or, more accurately, orders the printing of the money. So, the president wants, say, 9 trillion dollars of currency so he must ask or order (I am not clear on this) from the head of the Fed, Jay Powell. The Fed buys 9 trillion dollars worth of T-bills to finance this order. So, the government, or more accurately, the tax payers, We the People, are now holding a 9 trillion dollar debt obligation to the Fed in order for the Fed to order 9 trillion dollars worth of currency. This currency is created by the Treasury. I think that is how it goes.
Since the Fed, a private organization, holds the t-bills, the interest is paid to this private organization. So, when the 9 trillion dollars are released to the economy to wealthy, powerful friends, I mean, banks, the currency is inflated, the value of the dollar the we hold goes down and the friends, by dint of given these newly minted notes, acquire our lost currency value.
So, the Fed piles on a debt obligation on us and this includes servicing a massive interest to the debt to a private corporation plus the value of our currency is stolen and given to friends, I mean, banks.
I have heard of governments going into debt to, say, wage a war like England did against France. The English government owed money to banks in order to purchase weapons, pay for soldiers, etc. But, this act does not deflate the value of the currency. Printing money deflates the value of the dollar. However, in this brilliant scheme of the politicians – and I am on the level, that is, I am serious in this description of brilliant – We the People have our currency devalued, assume a massive debt, and pay an astronomical interest to a private corporation all in one fell swoop and without complaint. Life is good for the treasonous politicians. I should not be hard on us; we trusted them at one point. We fought their wars, buried our valiant dead, and took care of the tortured wreckage who survived and came home. Without complaint. We trusted them.
We are paying billions of tax payers’ dollars to an unaccountable people, a private organization. The money flows into the Fed. Where does it go? I suspect that a lot of people are stupendously wealthy by this alone and I strongly suspect that this is the revenue which powers the deep state.
So, if our politicians adhered to the Constitution then Congress would order the currency and our currency would be created. The value of the note would be devalued if trillions were recklessly dumped into the economy, but, there would be no debt. This debt is the severe aberration in this scheme, which gives money in the form of interest on some conjured obligation to a debt to people outside of the government – brilliant. This notion of the obligation to this debt is the con, the fraud, the poison. There is no ‘obligation’ to a debt – they already f–ked us with the devaluing of the currency. There is no free lunch with the creation of currency. The ramification is the currency is devalued. However, they made a free lunch for themselves by servicing the interest to a debt that we actually have no obligation whatsoever, IF the Constitution was followed.
The Fed must end tomorrow. It is a cancer on this Republic.
One last thought: Because the Fed is ordering the money and releasing it to the banks then they have the power to dictate the interest on the money. This power does not belong to the Fed who is given free, massive amount of money in the form of ‘interest’ to a debt, which has no Constitutional basis. I would call this a conflict of interest.

I think I have found the problem and it’s no fault of theirs and I’m not blaming them in any way. Looking at maps, it’s about 40-50 miles from Mikwaukee. Unfortunately, looks like in the middle of a 3 interstate triangle. And possibly a major sort of US highway right out of Milwaukee to them. I’m sure it used to be a nice sleepy bedroom commuter town to Milwaukee years ago.
I have said before that the safe distance from any really major city is 100 miles minimum. And preferrably 20-30 miles from an interstate. I know this is hard to do. We were fortunate enough about 10 years ago to find our south georgia place. It’s about 150-200 miles south of Atlanta. About 100 miles from Macon. About 100 miles north of Tallahassee, FL. And about 20-30 miles from an interstate.
Their plight was talked about a few weeks ago…no sympathy from me.
Not sure such great distance from InterState is neccesary.
Only mb 10 miles from I-40, and yet feel really comfortable.

So, I just read an email we get when a comment reaches the maximum number of flaggings and is removed. This one from a longtime, prolific Treeper. It was nasty, stupid, and it made no point, except to use in your face contemptible language in a smart ass way.
99.99 of our commenters, especially those who have been here so long, are the greatest people on the internet, and I’d love to have a cup of coffee with you and chat. Every once in awhile we get something like this.
This person has no comment here today that I can locate and respond to, so, I’m just putting this here for all to see, and I’m sure they will also.
This site, and Sundance, deserve better from you. It’s a private site, hosted for you at great expense, and assisted by some damned good volunteers. When we have to ban someone we often get cries about freedom of speech. That’s bull and they know it. Don’t feed the trolls….I have noticed that at night, on the weekend, on peripheral threads, there are a lot of names that I don’t recognize…with sometimes, weird comments…
Yes. We receive what I call “the night shift” posters who must be in another country and are hired to disrupt the discourse. We also get a lot of “new names” who take over an entire page. It gives me the thought that it is one person with multiple accounts who dominate over and deflect from the main topic at hand.
Too many times I get the creepy feeling that there are “Ray Epps” types trying infiltrate the comment sections.
If I go to the comment section of an article and see these occurring then I just exit and go pursue a hobby.
I have asked them if they are drinking. Some of these late (or weekend) back-and-forth posts sound like bar talk after a few rounds.

There’s this risk principle involved when people seek attention in text. Sometimes they mistake unkindness (with attempts at clever phrasing) for being satiric or clever. Comedians struggle with it constantly, because the “how far is too far” boundary shifts over time. It’s never an excuse to be directly impolite.
When I do have a serious beef with someone, I think they deserve the respect to be told face-to-face, and invited to discuss it further. It sort of keeps people more in line to be sharing the rest of a message – facial expressions, tone of voice, all the info that can’t easily come across in textual posts. That “Grandma Principle” (If she would be upset reading it, don’t post it online on any public forum) works for me. I get goaded from time to time and bark back, but I regret doing that afterwards.

Interestingly, years ago when there would be those photos with notations of “earliest galaxies” formed “soon” after the Big Bang, I w0uld wonder, all those billions of stars (with their probable planetary systems) and formed very quickly after Big Bang. I wondered this years ago.
The NYT article is very timid compared to the Asia times article.
And it is an important observation. One that has been bugging science for a while. Adhoc theories that get more and more complex are usually a sign of the basic theory being wrong. And that is what has been happening.
But first, there are different standard models. One from particle physics and one in cosmology. Both leave physicists unsatisfied. Particle physicists keep hoping that experiments will fall outside of explanation via their standard model, to great disappointment. Cosmologists keep retooling theirs to explain observations. Both are used together to explain the big bang.

That author holds that the smooth unvarying plasma is unquestionable.
Having worked with plasmas, but not having the knowledge of an expert like the author of the Asia times article, I find that suspect. Plasmas aren’t typically smooth and unvarying. But the author speaks from data.
There are other quibbles conflicting with our current understanding. Dark anything is yet to be brought into particle physics despite all the theoretical and experimental efforts to do so. Supermassive black holes have yet to be explained. Gravity has not yet been successfully unified into particle physics. Gravitational waves exist, showing that there should be a light like particle to mediate gravity the way light mediates electrical force, but we haven’t measured it. Higgs gives an explanation for inertial mass, but does not explain gravitational mass or why they are identical.

I suspect the early times of the big bang would result in a different speed of light, therefore a varying Hubble constant over time. As you know, you can’t base science on a constant that varies with time.
