Given the recent discussions about a potential Vice President pick by Donald Trump, several people have asked for my perspective.
Because I look at the office of the presidency slightly different than most, and specifically because the real challenge that needs to be addressed is located deep inside each institution of government, my perspective on the running mate is somewhat different than most.
The Vice President is the safety mechanism for continuity of government in the event that something happens to the President.
Additionally, for the unique nature of the 2024 election, the VP pick technically becomes the 2028 MAGA candidate by default and general intention. Therefore, the selection of Trump’s running mate holds a greater weight of importance given the single term objective.
The primary factor of President Trump’s pick for VP should be, who will be the 2028 nominee.
Prior to President Trump’s first term in office, traditionally the role of the Vice-President, the actual tasks they are assigned to carry out, were generally ceremonial in nature. However, President Trump approached the VP role differently, and gave substantive policy initiatives to Vice President Mike Pence. [Pence proved he was not a good executive]
It should also be remembered that another unique aspect to President Trump’s term was his control over every of aspect of economic policy and trade. This level of economic focus, with controls completely retained by President Trump, was then used as a mechanism to influence President Trump’s foreign policy.
As stated by several Trump economic officials when describing the Trump doctrine, “economic security is national security.” The America-First outlook was a domestic economic focus, used as a lever to influence foreign policy activity.
As a consequence, the President Trump economic team was extremely stable throughout his term. USTR Robert Lighthizer, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, CEA Chairman Larry Kudlow and Trade/Manufacturing Advisor Peter Navarro all worked in close coordination on their specific assignments that were instructions from President Trump.
The globe was broken into two general regions, west (Pacific) and east (Atlantic). Lighthizer was assigned eyes and trade policy toward Asia, while Ross assigned trade policy toward Europe. The total team were in close communication at all times and Donald Trump made every important decision for the econ/trade team. The team carried out Trump’s agenda; it was a very effective approach.
The reason I mention this economic and foreign policy aspect is because there’s little doubt this would again be the focus of President Trump in a second term. Trump is likely going to be the driving force of economic policy and foreign policy, in granular detail again. The VP needs to learn how Trump does it so effectively, so that MAGA continues into 2028.
Meanwhile, all of the other agencies need serious wolverines at the helm, fearlessly chewing down the mechanisms of, (a) the intelligence apparatus; and (b) the controlled bureaucratic and administrative state.
No executive can micromanage the details of this scale, the office of the president can only support their efforts and provide tools and resources for the dismantling.
Knowing this, and fully understanding the skills, strengths and weaknesses of each potential VP selection, I look at the Big Picture through the prism of who do I want at the helm, that has enough loyalty to ensure the deconstruction takes place and/or continues and holds the integrity/fortitude to provide me some measure of assurance. I guess this is the proverbial trust factor, only this time it’s even more important.
Right now, only one person hits that level of integrity for me, Dr. Ben Carson.
I trust Dr Ben Carson to understand the MAGA vision; to understand how the MAGA vision becomes manifest through policy; and, more importantly, to stay true to the MAGA vision if called upon to execute.
Perhaps there is someone else with the loyalty trait, the principal trait, the integrity trait, and the practical trait to continue after 4 years; however, if there is such a person, they don’t jump readily to mind.
The other cabinet members would all have big jobs, and none of them can come from the traditional system within DC. They need to be wolverines baring teeth and ready to start the “retribution phase” on day one.
Secretary of State: Ric Grenell
Defense Secretary: Vivek Ramaswamy
Treasury Secretary: Ron Paul
USTR: Robert Lighthizer or Peter Navarro
Commerce Secretary: Peter Navarro or Robert Lighthizer
EPA Administrator: Sarah Palin
FCC Commissioner: Mike Benz
CIA Director: Robert Kennedy Jr
FBI Director: Matt Gaetz
DOJ Attorney General: Ken Paxton
Office of the Director of National Intelligence: Rand Paul
NSA Director: Thomas Massie
Interior Secretary: Marjorie Taylor Greene
Something like that….

Have to agree with Mass psychosis. Great list except for Massie. And does need to be in there somewhere
Flynn needs to be in there somewhere. There fixed
Something about Speaker of the House. Might Trump in-a-sense test several different speakers as a matter of positioning for next president? If there were many speakers and each participate in other significant MAGA activities within Executive Administration the result could be multi-faceted beneficial in the long-term. Speaker of the House format could be reworked for the truth has no agenda. And, determining who can take the heat and hold true to restoring our Republic simultaneously to growing trust and uniting the American people. MSM is our biggest enemy.
Kash knows where the bodies are buried! Kash knows who the Government Gangsters are.
Curt: “Kash knows where the bodies are buried! Kash knows who the Government Gangsters are.”
The best and highest use for Kash Patel is to be assigned as Special Presidential Assistant for Deconstruction of the Administrative State (SPADAS).
Patel would manage a staff of experts, one for each major federal department and agency. These people would act in an advisory capacity to each department secretary and agency head and would independently monitor the progress of administrative deconstruction as the process of deep reformation of the federal bureaucracy goes forward.
Within that new agency will be the Department of LawFare and Retribution headed by Representative Clay Higgins
Ramaswamy as SECDEF? Oh gawd, no! You need someone with at least a tad of personal military experience in there.
Flynn?
My second choice after Don Jr.
He has no military experience either.
You really think Pentagon queers like Milley and Austin, in the military for 30 yrs, are some kind of stellar warfare tacticians??
Look how well Trump’s first term went with no political experience.
And seriously, you haven’t learned about the ‘experts’ by now?
or the gravitas required.
MTG. The compromised one. Trying to get back into the good graces of the voters.
Where is the Marjorie who protested at the prison for the J 6ers?
Why did she then say they got what they deserved?
Has anyone ever seen her stand up for the prisoners after that comment?
Why the selfies with Kevin?
Trust her in the cabinet?
Havent we had enough of compromised people in our government without going back for more?
Under Donald Trump, Secretary of Defense is just an honorary position.
I like it – a lot!
There are many, many retired military who were no-nonsense, bucked the system while enlisted, and still made it to the level of Colonel. None of whom we’ve ever seen on TV.
I like Colonel Douglas MacGregor for that job.
Me too
Gen Flynn?
. Paxton as VP . Yes I would have Carson but in another position. Paxton has shown all the qualities listed as Carsons positives, but Paxton has the courageous nature to fight back. Knows how to deal with the bad actors.
I believe Dr. Carson would be a good choice, but I still have hopes for General Flynn. I also would like to see Allen West included in President Trump’s team. Matt Gaetz: my hope is he runs for Governor after DeRINOsantis completes his last term. Matt’s a true gem, but we need him in FL a bit longer. No doubt, he’ll be a future Presidential candidate. Additionally: Ted Cruz for next Supreme Court Justice opening, Matthew Whitaker might be a good FBI Director.
I don’t recall Ben Carson ever accomplishing anything at Housing & Urban Development in the years he was there. Where’s the results? Nice, smart, loyal man but not administratively aggressive which should be a high priority.
This. I have high trust levels with Carson, and really like him as a person, but he’s not aggressive. We need fighters. Maybe Ken Paxton?
Also, MTG made the list and Kari Lake didn’t? Hmmm.
Carson seemed to accomplish every goal President Trump set for the HUD as President Trump stated in a White House meeting he had with Carson and his right hand man, praising them for their accomplishments. I watched it myself. Leading HUD also gave Carson executive experience in a government department. Still, can’t see him as VP at all and certainly not as a future president. Sorry to say no sure name comes to mind for that position although I’m very partial to Steven Miller whose conservative creds go clear back to his college days.
If I remember correctly, our treasonous Senate refused to put in his people. Some were waiting still at the end of the term to take their spots. Blame the Turtle….he refused to go into recess so PDJT could put in his people through recess appointments.
Nobody to this day has ever cornered Turtle in a media presser why he did such a douchecanoe move like that. At least Bartiromo unexpectedly burned Lady Lindsey Graham about NEVER scheduling any Russiagate hearings after promising for 2 years to do so.
He never was working with a full HUD team as the Senate under Turtle McConnell never scheduled nominees for all the assistants/deputies slots under him in the organizational tree. That was my understanding.
(Why he was not made Health Services Sec. where he would have reformed medical malpractice (a huge contributor to healthcare costs) is a headscratcher. Also would be nice to get rid of “prior authorizations” as physicians win the argument over insurers about 85% of the time and that process harms patients by delaying urgent tests and correct meds and sends a lot of patients to the ERs to waste more time and money for the tests that were needed yesterday. Paperwork and EMR waste half of the office time of doctors.)
Now we have former CA AG Becerra whose wife is an abortion-providing OB-GYN and he himself has NO medical experience.
Don’t trust Cruz.
the fight between them 2 was to personal to ever trust each other.
basic,
Don’t even trust Cruz for Supreme Court. He came out on national TV accusing Trump of everything the left was accusing him of concerning J6. He’s doing a good job (I think) as a Senator. Haven’t checked all his votes though. Let Texans sort him out, I just know he doesn’t need to be in any position that would harm Trump’s administration.
Allen West for Defense Secretary!
To my knowledge West has never said one word about President Trump’s presidency or accomplishments. Every thing he writes about is about the problems we’re facing, his views on them, etc. That is not a bad thing, in it self, but to totally ignore President Trump is a dead give away he’s not the kind of supporter we need in any government office in a Trump presidency.
I do not see Dr. Ben Carson as an effective president. Extremely loyal and smart but does not appear to possess those qualities needed right now, an iron will and fighting spirit. He would be eaten alive in my estimation. Who then? Sadly I do not see a true election in our future at all. We have gone off the deep end completely. Revolution is required to reset the boundaries of legitimacy of the our society and government. The election process is a sham so the results will change nothing. It is time to kick the card table over and begin anew. Unfortunately blood must flow and people once again learn that freedom is not free. It is going to get ugly ferreting out the traitors in our midst who will fight tooth and nail to retain that which they stole from us, integrity of life itself. May God have mercy upon us all for the struggle is going to be cataclysmic.
I have a hunch that the Deep State will permit Mr. Trump to win, especially if his VP is viewed as a “moderate,” and then they will intentionally collapse the economy, blaming it on Mr. Trump.
Afterwards Mr. Trump will be eliminated and his “moderate” VP will show his true Deep State/Globalist colors.
I’m convinced PDJT will win AND NOT BE STOLEN from because the NSA chatter shows he could LEAD A REAL REVOLUTION AND WIN IF STOLEN.
thats the only reason, HAS NOTHING to do with anything else. Self preservation based on FACTS
Best laid plans. . .
Somewhere between February and June, though the DS may try to stave it off. IMHO.
I believe you are spot on about Ben Carson, but I do not share your opinion that the only hope is a revolt. We just have to convince the people that this time all the cards are on the table and we have to elect Trump. This means all of our friends and neighbors should be seeing us over the next 10 months. I believe we can win and I do not prefer to resort to revolution until all reasonable alternatives have been exhausted. I did give you a thumb up for your opinion that PDJT needs a fighter for his VP.
I’m shocked people think Carson is a weak, submissive loser basically.
After watching his STAND FIRM when talking back to the enemy on every platform.
WE judge off of visuals and subtittles like we are missing the audio?
I think you’re missing it. I don’t think anyone is calling him a weak loser. He has a really solid, immovable kind of energy. Rock solid pick if you’re playing defence.
But MAGA’s not looking to play defence. We need a “burn it all” kind of energy in the VP spot.
Someone with a cold hard anger that has control over it, and can unleash when needed.
Here’s a clue of too nice….when he stood back after his name wasn’t called….not assertive. Remember at the NATO (not sure) meeting where all the leaders were in front of Trump and he basically pulled them aside and back to make himself front of the pack…..Carson would not do that.
I’m contradicting my own earlier posts, which mirror many of others here on Dr. Carson. But I think, by the way we are thinking here at the Treehouse, we would have rejected Jesus Himself, if Sundance had suggested him.
I rather hopelessly voted for Carson in the primaries, saying to myself, he would be praying the hardest while the evil took down our once sacred nation, but I am chiding myself at my lack of faith.
How many of the patriots who took this country back from England, would we have disallowed from positions, not thinking them capable.?
Do we really think this country is going to be preserved thinking only at the level of capabilities of mere men?
Our effort MUST put God at the center, seeking His will, His victories, His ways. We must be acknowledging our Creator whose hand shapes the affairs of all men, in the same way our Founders did.
I suspect Ben Carsons personality is not that far from General George Washington’s — veteran of French and indian wars, British Commander, Head of the Colonial Army, and first President of the United States.
Why, after being impressed with PDJT skills did I abandon my faith in the God of Ben Carson to lead us.
I think the most important thing Sundance did on this post, is open up the comments to this Treehouse fellowship. We are a Republic, after all — if we can keep it. As imperfect as each individual man was in contrast to the perfection of God, almost everyone of our founders were most concerned that the Republic would be weakenrd, when the common pursuit of God became weak.
How do you plan on getting past the election cheating, because the Democrats are already printing fake ballots for 2024.
“audits” will be common place 2024. And this go around they will have to do legit audits. Also the people know exactly what to look for in the AUDITS.
The most necessary need is someone that the left hates as much as Trump, and is not blackmailable (2 almost impossible qualifications). Necessary to keep Trump alive and assassination free.
and he is BLACK.
counter weight to LIES AND HELL from the Left
He’s only black if he voted for Biden, according to Joe.
VP Navarro.
You need someone who’s been tested and is pissed enough to clean house with prejudice.
Also General Flynn for VP would have those fighting qualities.
Age is an issue with Navarro as VP. Also not universally likable. I like him but get fatigued with listening to him.
Great List!
How about positions for Bannon and Patel? Madison Cawthorne for Inspector General or Ethics?
Bannon changed back to being a great supporter but “trust” I don’t think so. Can’t even see what he brings to the table in any position. He’s a reporter.
You were reading my mind. I felt Ben Carson would be a great VP for Trump. Carson is low key, loyal and brilliant. I can’t see putting Kari Lake or Kristi Noem in the spot, there both too alpha.
I would choose Matt Whitaker for attorney general. The other choices are a toss up.
Whitaker is all talk. Probably blackmailable.
Judy, I think you have a point about Carson. At first, I thought ‘no way,’ his nice, mild mannered approach is exactly what we don’t need.
But “low key, loyal and brilliant,” with “loyal” being the cornerstone for any of Pres Trump’s picks, as well as already being tested with his HUD position, might be the direction to take.
No one can surpass Pres Trump’s tenacity, love of America, resilience, charisma and willingness to sacrifice everything for us so his VP just needs to be a genuine and trustworthy supporter of the MAGA agenda without compromise, not a pit bull.
Matt was a “do nothing”. By the way …in that position you can not be too Alpha.
Noem caved to the NCAA with transexuals in women’s sports pulling away money from her state’s colleges.
Romney, (take your pick), for dog catcher.
Wait, never mind, it’s above their pay grade.
Agreed about Romney, because I want someone with a kind heart to be dog catcher.
Here’s Trump’s 10-Point Plan to “Shatter the Deep State”
https://www.independentsentinel.com/heres-trumps-10-point-plan-to-shatter-the-deep-state/
PeeEss…keep looking….a vetted unknown….
SD, why not someone like General Flynn for VP? He was screwed over by the DC KGB. He knows where the bodies are buried and I’m sure he would love the opportunity to go scorched earth on the KGB. Why not a strong military leader? In case you are unaware, we are at WAR with the Menshevik globalists. This is a zero sum game. The deep state committed TREASON in broad daylight when they stole 2020 and 2022. They are all in and risk being frog-marched into Gitmo if they lose control. I like Carson but I don’t see him as a strong leader to face off with the deranged mutant murderous communist lizard people. He’s too nice of a guy. And WEF trained decepticon Vivek in Trump’s cabinet? Seriously? Kennedy as CIA director is genius. I’m sure he would love some payback. Also, why can’t Trump serve two consecutive terms? FDR served three consecutive terms in WW2. We are at war with a globalist infiltrated domestic enemy. DJT would in fact be a war president, if ALLOWED to be elected, unless Mr. Potatus Head and his arrogant incompetent handlers steer us into nuclear oblivion…
because he is effective elsewhere. THE VP position is complete garbage, besides warning people who will be the 2028 nominee.
its training.
I believe a law for Presidential term limits was passed after FDR’s fourth election.
I believe he made breakthroughs in combat intel in Iraq and we won some missions. Seems more able than the yearly Afghan commander we would put in and do the status quo without gains.
I want someone who will be proud to reopen the kabaa as a permanent pork BBQ smokehouse for all the Marine Divisions without being afraid of being called a bigot. wink wink
yep you called it exactly right.
the moment Cruz passed Carson (after he missed his name being called to walk out) and PDJT WAITED with Carson… was the moment I knew there was something unique about those 2 versus the other camera hogs.
I believe Dr Carson is an excellent VP choice, he is calm, strong and able to visualize and comprehend complex multi dimensional problems. “Fire in the belly” comes in different personality perspectives.
I believe Dr. Ben Carson could very well take over the helm under tense and difficult circumstances.
Look at his skill set as a surgeon who saved unborn babies under immense pressure. That’s where his calm demeanor came in handy. He appears to be stoic and positive minded.
I think he could one of those leaders who “speak softly but carries a big stick”.
Good choice Sundance.
As much as proggies and commies mock him, they would cut off their left legs to procure his neurosurgery services if their little kid needed an emergency surgery at 3AM.
Around 2008 I had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Carson give a commencement speech.
At the time I had never heard of Dr. Carson and I did not have high expectations, was only there to celebrate a graduation.
But wow, he held my attention and was inspiring. Don’t recall anymore exactly what Dr. Carson said, except that I felt very uplifted after listening to his words.
No idea what post this good man would want to hold in scuzzy DC but he is a fine and principled person, and I would consider anything he has to say, and he raised my appraisal of Seventh Day Adventists in general.
Absolutely love Ben Carson. I also like Josh Hawley. MTG needs to be in Congress.
I would like to see Peter Navarro as Vice President go in on Day 1 and exercise his Constitutional authority to preside over the Senate. Watching him kick Schumer and McConnell-Thune to the curb would be epic.
Never happen. But epic if it did.
Navarro is a fighter and the Deep State would think twice about offing PTrump if he was VP. Sweet, kind Carson as VP would be another story.
Good point.
Holy Cow, excellent starting lineup!!!
Great list. Subtle msg may also be VR is a backup to 2028 plans by getting him key defense and foreign relations experience during these troubled times to get creds if BC goes elsewhere.
positions sometimes eliminate future enemies, or neutralize them.
like Haley’s record is all under PDJT so she cant debate that she did anything solely, and PDJT can credit all to himself.
Mr. Trump needs to take care to choose a very anti-Deep State VP.
If he chooses a “compromise” VP, he will be setting himself up as a target for the Deep State.
A stealth anti deep stater. If the VP is too open about it the DS will try to destroy who ever it is. Trump will nominate someone who may not be all in on draining the swamp to help keep them off guard. We have to trust his choice in that he knows more than we do about the person. I think it could turn out to be a relatively unknown business person with a military background.
I am fine with a stealth anti-Deep Stater.
I just want the Deep State dismantled, and preferably with actual trials and serious penalties for those convicted of treason.
I think Tucker Carlson could be the best choice. But I am not convinced that he would have the appetite for being this involved in the actual political world. He is a much better observer than his is as a political actor. But I believe there should be a cabinet level position for someone so familiar with the real world of information media. This is from where most of the stupid voters get their news and Tucker isn’t afraid to call out his own media cohorts. He could at least bring the needs of our Republic back into our information networks. The truth does matter to Carlson, which makes him a possibility for the VP job.
I think Ben Carson is a good man with a great aptitude and who seems grounded in the basic ideals of our Republic. But I don’t think he has much of an agenda for how to remove the 4th Branch from power. He doesn’t seem to have the appetite for the struggle that will take. Whoever PDJT chooses must be able to carry the torch for America First into the next decade, and Carson may be too old to be a force by then.
Tucker is an oppotunist, that rolled from left to right, WAS A TEAM PLAYER ON FOX, Covid moved him home to a home studio (WHICH naturally set up a future of going rogue eventually).
he doesnt want AMERICA do be anything. HE is doing a job he has done forever and wants that job to continue.
wants to TALK about shit.
people get turned on by him, because there is little to no one at that level speaking for us.
His role my be to simply talk about stuff.
Somebody needs to get the truth, or at least a part of the truth, out to the public.
its like the Left picking Rachael Maddow as a VP
TC as press secretary is more realistic.
he’d do that.
that job is for rookies and people willing to have their lives and reputation destroyed.
he wouldnt take that job EVER
might be the reason why it doesnt look like Sanders (Arkansas) and PDJT are 100% aligned.
and the new Fox girl, its obvious she isnt with PDJT anymore.
Or Michelle Malkin.
Or ANGRY COP the former airborne Drill Instructor.
Mr. Carson is a good man. Smart and ethical who talks sense BUT we need a VP who can win in 2028. Even with a Trump endorsement that is doubtful.
If we get Trump in there for 2024….Do you think anyone but the coo coo would vote for another D. Especially after PT shows the corruption.
Tucker Carlson who just had an interview with Kevin Spacey and who seem to enjoy Casey flirting with him? No thanks, I haven’t forgotten the bow tie wearing NeoCon Tucker from the Bush days…
Sarah Sanders, as the most successful Trump spokesperson, is the best choice for VP. As governor she has leadership experience and nobody has been more loyal to Trump.
does it look like there is some Riff between them 2. not a big one, but something?
She’s waaay too young. Too green to be trusted and doesn’t have the same appeal as you would expect from a woman candidate compared to the likes of Noem, Gabbard, Lake and even Haley. Sorry, looks matter for a compelling female candidate for VP or President
Not Haley, not ever Haley.
If Mr. Trump chooses her the Deep State will grin and activate an agent to eliminate him after they permit him to win the election.
Have we not learned anything from the consequences of Obama ….the greatest con artist of all time?
Vivek has hit his stride….an Obama repeat.
Make the people think he’s the biggest Trump supporter and clean up guy there is. Con, con and con some more.
And, havent we seen enough foreign influence in our country?
How about Americans running America for a change.
I’m going to assume CTH has reached a level where all the names above read her occasionally or has some staff membe that does.
so mentioning some of the names might be strategic in cooling them off
My goodness, Ramaswamy is nothing like Obama. Ramaswamy is a genius, an entrepreneur, a lawyer, a self-made man, and loves America. He speaks the truth, has morals, values, integrity, and doesn’t let anyone push him around
He is not a jive talking ghetto reprobate like Obama, whose goal was to bamboozle the public, push destructive concepts like transgenderism, and destroy America. Obama did not accomplish anything prior to a career in politics.
FYI: What people fail to understand is that Ramaswsmy speaks so quickly because he is brilliant and his mind works just that fast.
I like most of your picks…except 🤣.. Defense Secretary I would pick Michael Flynn
DOJ I would pick Eric Schmitt
CIA..anyone but RFK…for that matter, just close it down and turn off the lights
Don’t know what the thinking was for RFK so I can only give my opinion. No job anywhere in a Trump administration for RFK…ever. He’s the very kind of person were trying to get rid of in government.
I like Gaetz and Lake but they must be vetted. Too many of Trump appointee’s (Pence to start) were/are backstabbers, not MAGA.
Gaetz is a no to me on every angle.
he felt power, it tasted to good, and he got lost.
His act resulted in only people praising him, YET BITCHINGABOUT THE RESULT EVENTUALLY. — that makes no sense in reality.
In so much as it’s true about V.P.’s becoming Presidential candidates after the current President’s two terms, then I’d like to see Don Jr. as Don Sr.’s running mate…Donnie Jr. is a chip off the block of his old man and full of piss and vinegar and he’d give the deep state hell for sure.
VP no. NY Governor would be nice in order to clean out the waste that has inhabited that state for decades. Then maybe look at the WH.
Perfect!
FDA, CDC, NIH all need extreme focus. They need to be completely obliterated, as they are instruments of terror on the world. They are the back-door control mechanism. Quasi government, quasi pharma, quasi WHO. They will propagate diseases and cures and they will decide who is essential in a health state of emergency. They have “emergency powers” so they will create emergencies. They control the people, but are not accountable to the people.
…
All special “emergency powers” need stripping from the federal register.
Not sure I’d agree with you on Ben Carson. I just think he’s too nice a guy and somewhat of a middle of the roader. He was also being courted by all the wrong people in 2016 as a candidate. The position of VP IS what the individual makes of it. You can be a transformational and effective VP or you can simply go on auto pilot and do nothing with the position.
I’d love LOVE to see Sarah Palin in some kind of role in the 2nd Trump administration. I really thought it would happen in the 1st administration but for some reason Trump didn’t hire her. I never understood that. After all, she had given him a key endorsement in Iowa. It didn’t help him win the state at the time, but it did signal to me, who had been leery of and who didn’t really trust Trump, that he was the guy. Especially when I realized that the same people who attacked her for years were now attacking him.
He needs Palin, and people like Palin, in the new administration. Our government and it’s institutions are corrupt and are in need of reform. You need reform minded people in these key positions. Palin has a clear track record of being a reformer going all the way back to when she was a small town mayor. She doesn’t mess around when tested.
Head of the EPA would be great for her. Me personally I’d like to see her take over the VA. Veterans are very near and dear to her heart and that place is just a dysfunctional mess that needs an enema.
I can’t see Vivek ramadamawasy in PDJT’ cabinet. Having a struggle with RFK.
Thank you Sundance for a great wakeup call.
dangling hope, to offset the Deep State from recruiting them to be another Christie mouthpiece.
once elected dont give them shit
Ramaswamy as RNC chair. That would put his appeal to the young and quick wit to use, and an excellent foil against the media.
I’d submit my resume. Probably would cost me my family. Sacred honor…
If Steve Martin commented on this list, instead of How to Become a Millionaire:
“First, get 67 Senators…”
Kennedy would be perfect to take down the Cai. Gen Flynn needs to be in there somewhere. Not sure I trust Comer.
Holy Shite. From Your Words To God’s Ears.
Ben Carson could help abolish the Democrat plantation.
and we would have so much fun using the word racism and racist until their throats are raw
I think Biden is doing a pretty good job of that, himself.
Sundance, you will need to explain how you selected Robert Kennedy Jr and Vivek Ramaswamy. Kennedy is by and large a left wing ideologue and Ramaswamy is untrustworthy. Some of his comments sound MAGA but my spidey senses say that Vivek is at the core a GOPe.
dangling hope as they read here, and then once PDJT win they dont get shit.
Really? VR is not backing down on calling transgenderism what is is, a mental disorder.
IMO Vivek is a complete unknow except for what he’s said while running for office. It’ll be a cold day in hell before I ever trust a second generation Indian for any position in government. All you have to do is look at Ireland and Britain to see what I mean. Both are now being run by second generation Indians who pretended to be conservative and are now allowing massive immigration to the countries where their supposed to be representing all the people not just the brown and black that make up the entirely of all immigrants. Second generation is not long enough to be American as far as political office is concerned.
Ben Carson is low key, is a true Christian, intelligent, discerning, trustworthy and has a spine of steel. I agree with Sundance, Ben Carson would be an excellent VP to carry on after President Trump’s wrecking ball destroys the Deep State actors.
Well…. there is a dream team if I ever read one. Whoever is the team, we need to make sure they are not only prepared to continue in the 2028 elections, but for the next two decades. I believe it will take that long to correct the wrongs of the Democrat/progressive damage that had been done to America.
Once we get our country back on track we need to keep it that way.
It will take a hundred years of blood, sweat and tears to right this ship of state.
Beautiful.
Simply put: VPs historically don’t really do much.
So it doesn’t matter.
But then again: It seems that it no longer matters who the President is either.
Or who we vote for. (If the system is rigged as many suggest.)
So why the continued obsession over Presidential politics?
Historically, we have only had vice presidents who were nonproductive. President Trump had and will continue to have high expectations of his cabinet and vp. President Trump will expect much from Vice President Carson, who will be tasked with an intense amount of responsibility and who will handle the responsibility without fail.
Ok, I like it and can see how Dr. Ben Carson could fill that roll; calm, Christian, intelligent, somewhat pragmatic without compromising on key ethical presuppositions.
Some of your choices, I’m guessing, are meant to be funny – at least I laughed.
But two of your BEST choices as I see it are Ron Paul for Sec Tres and Rand Paul for
DNI and Massie for NSA as directors and secretaries.
I know you must have been kidding with Sarah Palin. Matt Gaetz, while I love him, could never get approved for the FBI – but, damn, that would be a hoot.
Devin Nunes?
Chief of Staff.
Knows the procedures and the backstabbers.
Would be an excellent choice as Chief of Staff
I like Carson a lot but to affable?
I miss my Wolverines! I can’t wait for a new pride of Wolverines to be introduced in 2024!
Pretty doggone good.
My absolute favorite is RFKjr heading up the CIA.
