Given the recent discussions about a potential Vice President pick by Donald Trump, several people have asked for my perspective.
Because I look at the office of the presidency slightly different than most, and specifically because the real challenge that needs to be addressed is located deep inside each institution of government, my perspective on the running mate is somewhat different than most.
The Vice President is the safety mechanism for continuity of government in the event that something happens to the President.
Additionally, for the unique nature of the 2024 election, the VP pick technically becomes the 2028 MAGA candidate by default and general intention. Therefore, the selection of Trump’s running mate holds a greater weight of importance given the single term objective.
The primary factor of President Trump’s pick for VP should be, who will be the 2028 nominee.
Prior to President Trump’s first term in office, traditionally the role of the Vice-President, the actual tasks they are assigned to carry out, were generally ceremonial in nature. However, President Trump approached the VP role differently, and gave substantive policy initiatives to Vice President Mike Pence. [Pence proved he was not a good executive]
It should also be remembered that another unique aspect to President Trump’s term was his control over every of aspect of economic policy and trade. This level of economic focus, with controls completely retained by President Trump, was then used as a mechanism to influence President Trump’s foreign policy.
As stated by several Trump economic officials when describing the Trump doctrine, “economic security is national security.” The America-First outlook was a domestic economic focus, used as a lever to influence foreign policy activity.
As a consequence, the President Trump economic team was extremely stable throughout his term. USTR Robert Lighthizer, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, CEA Chairman Larry Kudlow and Trade/Manufacturing Advisor Peter Navarro all worked in close coordination on their specific assignments that were instructions from President Trump.
The globe was broken into two general regions, west (Pacific) and east (Atlantic). Lighthizer was assigned eyes and trade policy toward Asia, while Ross assigned trade policy toward Europe. The total team were in close communication at all times and Donald Trump made every important decision for the econ/trade team. The team carried out Trump’s agenda; it was a very effective approach.
The reason I mention this economic and foreign policy aspect is because there’s little doubt this would again be the focus of President Trump in a second term. Trump is likely going to be the driving force of economic policy and foreign policy, in granular detail again. The VP needs to learn how Trump does it so effectively, so that MAGA continues into 2028.
Meanwhile, all of the other agencies need serious wolverines at the helm, fearlessly chewing down the mechanisms of, (a) the intelligence apparatus; and (b) the controlled bureaucratic and administrative state.
No executive can micromanage the details of this scale, the office of the president can only support their efforts and provide tools and resources for the dismantling.
Knowing this, and fully understanding the skills, strengths and weaknesses of each potential VP selection, I look at the Big Picture through the prism of who do I want at the helm, that has enough loyalty to ensure the deconstruction takes place and/or continues and holds the integrity/fortitude to provide me some measure of assurance. I guess this is the proverbial trust factor, only this time it’s even more important.
Right now, only one person hits that level of integrity for me, Dr. Ben Carson.
I trust Dr Ben Carson to understand the MAGA vision; to understand how the MAGA vision becomes manifest through policy; and, more importantly, to stay true to the MAGA vision if called upon to execute.
Perhaps there is someone else with the loyalty trait, the principal trait, the integrity trait, and the practical trait to continue after 4 years; however, if there is such a person, they don’t jump readily to mind.
The other cabinet members would all have big jobs, and none of them can come from the traditional system within DC. They need to be wolverines baring teeth and ready to start the “retribution phase” on day one.
Secretary of State: Ric Grenell
Defense Secretary: Vivek Ramaswamy
Treasury Secretary: Ron Paul
USTR: Robert Lighthizer or Peter Navarro
Commerce Secretary: Peter Navarro or Robert Lighthizer
EPA Administrator: Sarah Palin
FCC Commissioner: Mike Benz
CIA Director: Robert Kennedy Jr
FBI Director: Matt Gaetz
DOJ Attorney General: Ken Paxton
Office of the Director of National Intelligence: Rand Paul
NSA Director: Thomas Massie
Interior Secretary: Marjorie Taylor Greene
Something like that….

Sundance…I believe you left out a very important position….”Chief of Staff”. Reince Priebus was DJT’s first one…I think he was a set of “training wheels” installed to help the Pres. navigate the duties, White House and keep the Pres. on the right course. There was much turnover in that position until Mark Meadows and he has proven to also be a snake in the grass.
Any suggestions for this position???
Maybe Sundance?
yes that was my first thought but I don’t want to lose him as an independent outside analytical resource.
Sundance is busy for the foreseeable future.😊
either Carson or just go with Don Jr.
we aren’t trusting anyone else
No disrespect to Don Jr or anyone else, but let’s dispense with family ties. Kennedy, Bush, Clinton, et al, dynasties always lead us dark places.
Don Jr is no Donald J. Trump Sr.
Who is?
Who’s that ex-wrestler out in Minnesota. Was governor. Might be a thought.
Wouldn’t it be so much easier if President Trump simply took over as the King of Great Britain?
It certainly would solve a lot of problems. It would free up America to Make America Great, Canada to Make Canada Great, Australia to Make Australia Great, New Zealand to Make New Zealand Great, England to Make England Great, etc.
Take over the apex of Power and Control so it can be given back to the people.
Then again, maybe that’s exactly what’s been taking place, but we can’t see it clearly just yet. A rising tide that not only lifts all boats, but it cuts them free of their restrictive moorings and allows them the safe passage and freedom to operate under their own power.
Seeing that recently posted Christmas picture of President Trump and our First Lady certainly gave the appearance of Royalty.
The deep state is in firm control. Don’t put all your eggs in the Trump basket. This could become a hot domestic war when the lizard people decide to begin cutting off our energy and food. It could get really ugly here if you believe what the WEF and UN flat out tell us what their plans are for the future. Depopulation is their goal. It seems counter intuitive when you see them flooding America with the third world. But this invasion of millions consists mostly of men of military age. Millions. What if the deep state starts dropping off pallets of m16s, rpgs, and other weapons in the dem cities like they dropped pallets of bricks and water bottles filled with gasoline? There are not enough jobs for these men and the country is in too much debt to continue paying them $2400 a month to do nothing with free housing and everything else. They have been brought here for a reason IMO. A reliable source said one of the migrants told him he was hired by the UN and to wait for instructions once he made it to the US. 10 million armed foreign mercenaries could take over most of the country and they would have no problem killing Americans. The Chinese brought in Mongolian troops to kill the students at Tiananmin Square because Chinese troops refused to kill their own people. Think about it. I would not put anything past these lizard people who control DC.
How about abolishing epa, state dept, fcc, fbi?
. . .and the doe. . .
He has stated. Numerous times he will abolish doe and give power back to the states.
And a whole bunch of other non-sense alphabet agencies!
Good list, Sundance. I especially like Dr. Carson as Vice-President.
Just one other factor I would consider: does a nominee possess the thickness of hide which will be required of any Trump selection, qua Trump Selection?
No, Dr. Carson doesn’t, sorry. But Mark Robinson of North Carolina does.
I disagree, and here’s why:
Dr. Ben Carson performed the first ever successful separation of twins conjoined at the back of the head. What kind of opposition to the attempt do you suppose he faced, given that it had never been done? How many naysayers were in his face? And yet, he did it.
And how many people do you suppose have tried to talk Ben out of his support for Trump, given that he is a black man? And yet, he has never wavered.
Don’t mistake calm and polite for weak. Ben Carson has a steel rod where most have a spine.
Did Dr. Carson ever accomplish anything over in Housing and Urban Development in the years he was at the helm there???
Totally agree. Speaks softly but carries a big stick.
With all due respect to Mark Robinson, I do not believe he’s as intelligent as Dr. Ben Carson and we should not underestimate the necessity of intelligence at that high a level.
Mark Robinson worked in furniture manufacturing until he gave a barnburner speech at the Greensboro City Council in 2018, that is how his political career started. Not sure why people here think he is infinitely more qualified than Ben Carson.
Probably not, but Vivek does and he has the same values needed to stay on course.
You might want to do a little more research on Vivek. He most certainly DOES NOT have the same values as Trump or us.
I attended the Turning Point event last week in Phoenix. Several of the people listed for Trumps Cabinet attended that event, including Dr. Carson. He was actually asked the question about being VP and demurred. He seemed authentically and enthusiastically ALL IN for Trump. A black man. A smart man. A wise man. A successful man. He seems like a credible choice, but these are strange dangerous times.
I notice Mike Flynn and Rudolph Guliani absent from the list. What gives there ?
“I notice Mike Flynn and Rudolph Guliani absent from the list. What gives there ?”
– too much baggage and not enough marbles.
Ben Carson is a voice of reason and a reason to solidify the highly sought votes the democrats squander after an election.
My feeling has always been a VP who is just as MAGA as Trump. The reason is that eliminating Trump (which I fear) would only bring forward someone who will do exactly the same policies. Then the House Leader needs to be the same. This the best way to protect President Trump.
I agree. If we secure elections, we can get enough MAGA reps to vote Gaetz in as Speaker.
Gaetz was the lead for the chsrade of ‘9 days to elect McCarthy’ and after all that, our reassurance that McCarthy would represent US was A) supposedly commitments in writing and B) the motion to vacate.
So, McCarthy broke all of the alleged commitments, backstabbed us in negotiations to continue spending, etc. and only AFTER all that was accomplished, did Gaetz “pull the plug” and orchestrate McCarthy leaving and being replaced by,….? McCarthy, part deux.
And WHAT have we got with Johnson? More of the same, as he orchestrates insuring the House will be D majority after 2024, as part of them again insuring that “in the unlikely event (actually QUITE likely!) that PDJT wins, the D’s can be positioned to initiate Impeachment against him, as soon as they bring the New House into session.
And you want GAETZ as Speaker? You still don’t GET it. HE put Mike Johnson in, and so HE owns the consequences.
The UNIPARTY retains control of the House, regardless which face of the Uniparty is assigned majority status.
After 2024 it will be Dems, BECAUSE Impeachment must begin in the House.
And, by the way this is why Kari Lake is the only viable option as PDJT’s VP, as SHE is the only one theycare TERRIFIED of having in the oval office, to the point of being a major deterence to his enemies pursueing ANY path of removing PDJT from office, making him Impeachment proof.
Interesting to say the least. Probably explains why the financial “experts” are essentially clueless, all contrarian to one another. The life story and why at the beginning is rather dull, but it sets the stage for the information he provides, the fact that he is making the book free as a pdf shows good intent IMO.

in wrong thread apologies
OK. I don’t like the Don Jr aspect. Jr is not his father.
SD … given your acute skill set analysis, perhaps Presidential Advisor for yourself? Awesome list!
Wow so many comments – just checking page now -without checking them out – my 2 cents – Dr Carson is a great human being -maybe too nice /too human for this VP/2028 scenario ? Can he be PDJT’s successful “apprentice “ to make it work ? IDK – btw this page is refreshing like crazy this morning –
That page refreshing must mean something. It only happens to me at the CTH.
Every single time.
Now that is a line up that would win the championship!
Although National Review has been running a high fever with its Trump Derangement Syndrome, its founder, the late William F. Bickley, Jr., Did a great deal in the latter half of the Twentieth Century to establish the intellectual and pragmatic foundations of American conservatism. One of his sound bits of of advice was:
“Vote for the most electable conservative.”
He was admitting that there were conservatives he’d like to see in office, but he knew they could not get a majority of votes from the voters, and he wasn’t about to throw his vote away by acting like a libertarian.
So, who is the most electable person for VP who could help Trump win the following critical states:
Pennsylvania
Virginia
Georgia
Ohio
Michigan
Wisconsin
Nevada
Arizona
It isn’t not-ready-for-prime-time Kari Lake. She made a rookie error by telling McCain voters that their votes didn’t matter. Everyone‘s votes matter in 2024. She may be able to win a senate seat in a three-way race, and I hope she does.
The swing voters will help decide this election. Trump needs the votes of independents, moderate Republicans, disaffected Democrats, even hypocrites who are publicly anti-Trump but who could stand in the voting booth and think about their 401K, their teenage daughters undressing in the swimming pool locker room when a man comes in in a dress….
The issues are: the economy, crime, national security (including the border), parental rights, for starters. Trump has been focusing on these more, and that is a good thing. The Dems will have massive funds for ads, for GOTV, for fraud.
And when it comes to state elections, vote for the most electable conservative. Even though McConnell appears to be holding on to power in the GOP caucus with his cold, not-quite-dead hands, a GOP senate would be important for federal judicial appointments. Although I agree with Sundance’s many criticisms of McConnell, I do have to acknowledge that it is because of him that we do not have Associate Justice Merrick Garland.
(And if you’re disappointed with Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett, please remember that McConnell and Trump had to put forth nominees that could get the votes of the likes of Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.)
But back to the VP pick. Who is the most electable conservative?
“Vote for the most electable conservative” was – as you admitted – good in 2nd half of past century. BUT with the appearance of “Barry” 15 years ago, the political spectrum shifted to a Marxist agenda on the Democratic side (at the time you are talking about, it was unthinkable to go into presidential elections with the content of a “Biden-Sanders Manifesto”).
As a counterpart, President Trump has presented guidelines that have been well received by “We the People.” But “American 1st” has a lot to do with patriotism and little to do with Bush/Cheney conservatism. Consequently, DJT is not a conservative, which explains the resentment of “National Review” and many other” conservative” media.
When the time is right, President Trump will choose an electable patriot as his running-mate. It would be nice if the choice fell on someone who can represent “American 1st” in the presidential elections of ’28 and ’32.
I don’t consider Bush/Cheney or the current staff of National Review as conservatives. They can call themselves that. We don’t have to accept it.
But, yes, an electable running mate who could carry on Trump’s policies in 2028 and 2032 would be a wise pick.
The media will want to drive a wedge between Trump and his pick for VP.
So, their first question to the nominee will be if he/she agrees that the 2020 election was stolen.
If the choice can’t answer in the affirmative, that subject will be front and center until election day.
That’s why I think Kari Lake would be the best choice.
There would be no wedge.
It would give her the four years she could profit from, under Trump’s tutelage, to be prepared to take the helm in 2028, and she is the fighter we need.
She doesn’t back down.
Which of the above swing states could Kari Lake help Trump win? Pennsylvania, for example.
I lived in the Philly suburbs for 40+ years. Tell me what voters she would appeal to? There are a lot of independents and people who still consider themselves “moderate” whose votes Trump needs.
How about minority votes? How would Kari Lake appeal to black, Hispanic and Asian voters in PA?
Your “most electable” argument is a subtle entrance to the slippery slope that inevitably leads to “vote for the lesser of two weavils” ,..”RINO cause the D is worse” “heart in the primary, but party in the general” pragmatic path that R voters followed for so many years, and that has lead us to where we are.
Put bluntly, SCREW THAT.
Kari Lake is a rock star, wherever she goes, and not just in Az.
As for ‘minority votes’ PDJT has broken the hackneyed idea that a party has to PANDER to ‘minorities’ by BEING a minority, or have a minority VP, or SPEAK Spanish or Eubonics.
All he has to dobis have POLICIES which benefit ALL Americans, and he will (and has!) get support from Blacks, hispanics, women, men, young, old, etc.
But, if you want the old school argument, KL’s husband is hispanic, so the “rascist” card doesn’t play well against her.
Kari Lake is a rock star in Pennsylvania? Really? Has she ever been to Pennsylvania? In Montgomery County? Delaware County? Bucks County? Chester County?
Those are the four swing suburb counties. Bring in enough votes there and in the rest of the state (minus Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre), and he can probably carry the state.
Wisconsin? Virginia? Has she ever been to either state? Can she bring in votes past the margin of fraud in Dane County and Milwaukee County?
Trump did not “pander” to minorities. He simply got his message out to voters that the GOP had usually considered locked-in Dem votes. He went looking for votes everywhere, and found enough to win by letting them hear about his policies.
He just needs to do that again. Send out his conservative/America First/whatever to every voting bloc, including independents, Democrats, Libertarians, whatever.
Anyone who is even marginally concerned with presidential elections should have found out that in addition to the states President Trump won in ’20, he needs victories in GA & AZ thus his chances of making it back to the WH remain intact. In addition to that he needs either win in
IMO under the given conditions, a victory in PA is out of reach.
The first prerequisite for a victory is a massive “take out the vote” initiative which I don’t see so far, then a “wise pick” for a running mate. Whatever we think of Kari Lake, her nomination is out of the picture for the following reasons:
True. And Michigan may be a harder win because the Dems took the provisions of the federal “steal the vote act” they wanted to pass in Congress and passed it as a state constitutional amendment establishing “voting rights” under their constitution.
I lived in the Philly suburbs for 40+ years, and they have been getting more purple with people fleeing Philadelphia Country. However, the economy, crime, and public school quality still matter a great deal.
I think PA is winnable, in particular because the outgoing mayor declared Philly a “sanctuary city,” and now they have illegals coming in – not as many as Chicago or NYC, but enough for people to be concerned. There have also been “Free Palestine” demonstrations/riots, including the targeting of an Israeli-owned restaurant in Philly. Trump should also emphasize his foreign policy, and not just in PA.
And there is vote fraud in Philadelphia. There is always vote fraud in Philadelphia. It’s not Cook County, but it comes close.
1960 Presidential Election in Cook County, IL: Kennedy d Nixon by 320K votes. IL: Kennedy d Nixon by 10K votes
Just a view PA #s to show why I am sceptical DJT can win PA:
Since ’88 DJT was only presidential GOP candidate who won PA:
’00: Gore: 2.49M (+ 200K); ’04 Kerry: 2.94 (+ 150K); ’08 Obama: 3.28M (+ 620K); ’12 Obama: 2.99M (+ 310K); ’16: Trump 2.97M (+ 44K); Biden 3.46M (+ 80K)
GOP hold Class III Senate seat from 1969 until 2023. Mehmet Oz l John Fetterman by 260K votes in ’22.
Do you think that “W”s & “Bridgewater”s David McCormick (l in ’22 Primaries to Mehmet Oz by 1K votes) will oust Bob Casey Jr (d Incumbent Rick Santorum by 710K votes in ’06) in ’24s Class I Senate race?
His Childen have no place in the WH been down that road, shouldnt be so active as it is in the way Don Jr is i guess. Eric has been so silent for so long. I really like your list, and i think you are right on your Thoughts. I didnt see Gen Flynn tho i thought for sue he would be in there somewhere ? I know hes very close to Trump Thank you Sundance, and Happy New Year to you and all Readers
Slighting General Mike Flynn?
Great list, Sundance, but no mention of a Homeland Security Director. We are going to need someone with a titanium spine to fix the boarder and to start the deportations.
DHS needs to be disbanded. The country worked well for over two-hundred years without its existence, which by the way, was a knee-jerk reaction and an attempt to control and meddle in our lives using the attack as a predicate. That’s a place we can save money and close one more agency that is corrupt. IMO.
Maybe…this where Flynn comes in!
The easiest fix for illlegal immigration is to completely disregard those people. By that, I mean, no anchor babies, no tax payer benefits at all, none! If they have no welfare benefits and no jobs and their kids aren’t considered legally Americans, they have no reason to come here. Not to mention the kids that they bring with them wouldn’t be allowed to use our schools unless they paid tuition. Take away the advantages and you take away the reasons to come here illegally.
Good Morning everyone, Hope you made it threw Christmas day with good Spirts and are now ready to hit the road and help Sun Dance to help President Trump,
When I look at all of these suggestions, I think they are almost as I would choose because most of the people here are truly America First type people even though some of them do not always say so, however one is Tomas Massie, Is he not in Desantis group and wants him for President ?
any way these are great picks and I would hope that all of them would think about what it would mean for them to join this wonderful Team of Trump and America first.
What about You Sun Dance? how about you becoming something wonderful in side the group maybe doing so, would protect you from the crap that gets thrown at you now . I know sometimes my idea get way out there anyway I hope you had a wonderful Christmas ?
Oh, yes… Sundance… DITTO THAT!
Other Trump loyalists to consider…
Jeffrey Clark, John Eastman, Rudy Giuliani, Michael Flynn…Missouri AG Eric Schmitt and Louisiana AG Jeff Landry who co-filed Missouri v Biden…
19 State AG’s led by Steve Marshall of Alabama in Amicus against Jack Smith….Trump loyalist Mike Lindell and a cadre of his lawyers, Cyber-experts and investigators who have connected with him pounding on the door of “The” key issue….systemic election fraud…
John Eastman is a brilliant Constitutionalist. His arguments at the disbarment trial were sublime.
WE, the MAGA Nation, need at least ONE State Government that IS MAGA, to lead the fight from the State level, even as PDJT and his Wolverines Are dismembering the Fed Gov. from the DC level.
So far, Loisianna and Missouri SEEM to be the most likely prospects, although I admit I am not very familiar with their internal politics,..so maybe Landry needs to stay where he is?
RFK2 would be a winner as CIA director but I prefer him as Special Prosecutor for the COVID response.
Brilliant!!
Robert Kennedy Jr for CIA Director.
Trump has wolves in sheep clothing at his door. RFKjr and Ramaswamy are the most notable, very toxic. RFKjr is a whacko and a Marthas Vineyard Kennedy clan and Vivek is a plain hustler. The two will never survive vetting. IMO Trump won’t touch them.
Ben Carson would be a good choice to return to HUD, if he’ll take it. He’s probably the one of his old Cabinet whom Trump. trusts most.
Great picks, Sundance!
All things considered (to include https://www.essence.com/health-and-wellness/ben-carson-covid-19-treatment/ ) Peter Navarro for VP.
For V.P., Mark Robinson of North Carolina.
Mark has been Lt. Governor for only a short while and therefore is not corrupted by politics.
He does not have Trump’s economic skills – who does?
Mark does see through the liberal B.S.
Deleted
I have never liked Carson- his run at the Presidency struck me as nothing more than a book tour, and he shows me nothing that impresses me as to his qualifications for the Presidency. My choice is Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Sarah’s truer colors showed up after she won the governorship.
Let’s ask one of her constituants how well she is viewed.
NO FAMILY TIES!! I like your list. Another plus about the good doctor is he’s an outsider like Trump! 😉
Magnificent choices, Sundance. The actuality of such outstanding and capable people in these roles would be a dream come true for the USA and its citizens.
Hmm… gotta chew on this… some seem logical… others not so much… have you been in the eggnog?!
My choice would be J.D. Vance. I know he didn’t start out pro-Trump, but he jumped on the bandwagon as soon as he realized Trump was for real.
He has lived the issues plaguing America and I believe him to be sincere in his pro-America stance and actions.
He is seasoned enough and hardened enough to survive the campaign and the propaganda about himself, and young enough to anticipate a further role in the next election.
If he IS truly on board, he needs to stay rightvwhere he is, to recess the Senate so that PDJT can make recess appoitments as any nominee McConnell/Thune agrees to confirm is automatically disqualified, BECAUSE McConnell/Thune has agreed to confirm.
Hence, the only way PDJT is going to get cabinet members that WILL help him dismantle the Administrative State, is by recess appointments, good for ONE YEAR, or Temp. appointments,…or have enough evidence against McConnell that he can blackmail Mitch into confirming his nominees.
Rand Paul never recessed the Senate during PDJT’s first term, knowing McConnell was forcing PDJT to take traitors into his admin, so whyvin the HELL would PDJT want either Paul?
Carson would be destroyed! Doctors are some of the most specialized people in the world and beyond their field they fall hard. The very fact Carson did not step to the podium the debate night is a tell, don’t discount it.
Just to be clear, are we talking about the same Thomas Massie for NSA Director ?
I appreciate Massie’s voting record but he is unable to let go of his hatred for Trump. We can’t afford saboteurs this time esp the ones who always think the problem is Trump, not the TDS corrupting their ability to think rationally.
https://x.com/RepThomasMassie/status/1739645325965512787?s=20
I have the strongest of feeling that Dr. Ben Carson is the man also. You’ve done well tree trunk.
In my humble opinion, I nominate Sarah Palin for VP. We need a real Momma Grizzly to fight the libturds.
If indeed we need a mama grizzly, then we need Kari Lake, leave Sarah where she is, and lets see her USE the massive POWER a State Governor HAS to actually DO SOMETHING to move the MAGA needle.
For example, BECAUSE of the operation to ship illegals in, ANY State Gov. is fully justified in declaring an Invasion, and unlike Abbott actually USING those additional powers, granted BY the Constitution, to DO something.
THANK YOU!
I have been saying Ben Carson is the ONE for VP for months now. He has all the qualities necessary. And his manner is so calm and reassuring.
He is the perfect contrast for Trump’s fiery personality.
People on here talking about how he’s not “tough” Holy cow he brought himself up out of extreme poverty and became one of the best neurosurgeons in history. He also became a best selling author, ran for President and was HUD director. But people say he is “soft”. Wonder if any of them could cut into the brain of a child with confidence and spend hour after hour on their feet performing life changing surgeries? Really ticks me off these people on here dissing Ben Carson.
I love this group. Heads would explode! RK jr for CIA. Brilliant!
Love Dr. Carlson but not sure his calm persona is best suited to the office. I’d have no qualms with him as VP. Suggest someone else for secretary of defense. General Mike Flynn would be great.
In the end, even if Trump is able to implement positive changes via executive authority, we still need legislative wins that would cement these changes more permanently. The house and especially the Senate are complete basket cases full of feckless cowards and uniparty trash. A red wave with MAGA candidates would help further that agenda.
All the EOs need to be undone. That system was only intended for true national emergencies.
It is possible to write legislation that names every single EO and negate them so that they cannot be utlilized against We the People again.
It’s a job, but put the right person on it and it would be ready to go at the beginning.
You hit the nail on the head, and I couldn’t agree more as to purpose of the next VP selection. That’s why Harris was O’Biden’ insurance policy. No Conservative wants Harris sitting at the Resolute Desk.
I’m shocked at your selection for several positions, including Vice-President though. Ben Carson is a man of character, but he sure didn’t show his mettle when during the previous campaign. He comes across as being very weak, and not as a fighter. The selection needs to be someone of similar temperament to DJT, or he’ll get run over.
Vivek for Defense Secretary? He hasn’t been able to decide which side of a policy he’s on. I admit not knowing his foreign policy stance though I believe he’s strong against China.
Robert Kennedy Jr. for CIA made me laugh. Not because he would be wrong for the job, but because it would be a retaliatory assignment. I like Steve Bannon’s pick for CIA, Kash Patel. There is a loyal, brilliant, Trump visionary.
Ron Paul as Treasury Secretary is brilliant. Rand as ODNI is a good choice, but again, perhaps Kash Patel would be a better selection. Rand Paul might be best as NSA Director.
Matt Gaetz at FBI is masterful. I would hate to lose his voice in Congress, but his mind and voice could serve better there.
Peter Navarro is a fighter, and would be great in either of those positions.
Marjory Tailor Greene as Interior Secretary had me laughing again, though harder. She has the cajones that is required to execute that position, and doesn’t back down from attacks. She’s lost some integrity points lately, but not her stamina and willingness to fight.
I’m praying that we are in the position to see who President Trump selects this time.
Having concerns with Vivek in such a powerful position just under CIC. I don’t trust him. All we have are his words, slick, polished and often flipped when that better serves him. Brian Dennehey’s “Sidestep” dance scene in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas comes to mind. No political track record. He popped up out of nowhere.
His idea that all Americans, even natural born, should be required to pass a test to earn the right to vote is very troubling. It would undoubtedly be a digitalized process, as easy to manipulate as voting machines. Aside from that, it’s an unAmerican idea to take a natural right of citizenship and turn it into a qualified privilege.
In a twitter conversation many months back, Vivek defended his P & D Soros scholarship by saying that Paul Soros was not associated with George Soros. (Disingenuous response. Maybe not business-connected on paper but philosophically?) Vivek ended the discussion by saying Paul Soros is dead now so it doesn’t matter anymore. (Didn’t Bill Gates recently use that line about Epstein?)
Always a slick sidestep and back to the “show”, shades of early Barack. What about Vivek as Press Sec, where his quick thinking verbal skills could be put to use, in a less powerful position? Trust is essential this time around.
Dr. Carson was my pick in the Primary before I understood Trump.
Carson is no Trump. But he has high ethics, Christian and intelligent. (Lacking lion ferocity.)
God made us unique. Only one Trump. Next one up can use Trump’s example but will have to run it their own way.
And in case no one noticed or were too polite to point it out … he is BLACK. Winning back our freedom is not possible without the avid support of blacks. Must defeat the premise that freedom lovers are racist.
Make no mistake, The One was selected partially because of his color. The great divider had to be black.
Don Jr is the ultimate protector choice. They cannot kill Trump if Don is backup because he would execute righteous retribution.
Eric is a lot closer to having all the assets of his father than does junior. Jr is too emotional and loud. Eric is sneaky smart.
I cannot disagree with any of these, especially Carson; he doesn’t seek national attention which tells a complete story.
God Damn Judas Pence and his globalist controllers.
I believe that Dr. Carson COULD be a great VP. It MAY be a nice counterbalance to the brashness (which I love) to PDJT.
I could see the left and the RINOs conducting a racist smear campaign against him (remember SCOTUS hearings for Clarence Thomas) which would expose their vile racism even more to people who don’t pay attention.
Perhaps that will bring some people on the fence about PDJT (moderate left, Color is Everything Group, younger voters) over to Team MAGA.
Does DrBC have the ability and temperament to fight these monsters? Not in the way PDJT has but he would just need to learn the system and, just like Barry and ValJar, have Team Trump set up shop near DC to “pull the strings” post-Trump.
He is very intelligent. That gives me great hope that he WILL learn and learn quickly All Things MAGA. Perhaps he and others are already being educated, prepped, tested, and vetted for VP and all other critical positions in the Trump Administration.
As far as those saying Ben Carson BECAUSE of his soft demeanor; in 2016 Candidate DJT employed his unique style AS a fighter, and had Pence as hus VP, ‘flipping’ the usual standard form which is after the primary the VPOTUS Candidate is the “attack dog” enabling the POTUS Candidate ti “stay above the fray” and so appear more “Presidential”,…think Agnews “nattering nabobs on negativity”..
IF PDJT had a real fighter as a VP,,it WOULD have enabled him to “move above the fray” in 2016, and it could again in 2024.
Ben Carson is no “attack dog”, but “trump in a skirt” KL,…IS.
I agree with you. My choice is Kari Lake. You and I seem to be in the minority on that choice unless all of this is a distraction for them to bring her in stealthily.
We were just discussing this very situation 2 days ago. If there are any SCOTUS openings, I hope he nominates Ted Cruz. We were spot on with Ken Paxton as AG.
Oh please, Ted Cruz said that it was candidate Trump’s fault that violent leftists attacked Trump rally attendees as they tried to go to a rally in Chicago.
Yes, Ted said (paraphrasing): Sure, the leftist mob shouldn’t have been violent but it starts with Trump and his words which triggered these people into being violent.
Ted went on to say that he is concerned with Trump’s words that ask people to follow him and vote for him. As though Trump was building a cult.
So, Mr. Constitution said that the Trump voters do not have the Constitutional Right of Freedom of Assembly, Freedom of Speech, and Freedom to support the candidate of their choice.
STOP PRETENDING THAT YOU DON’T KNOW THESE THINGS.
Lyin’ Ted (AS TRUMP CALLS HIM) will never step near a Trump Administration. Nice try on whitewashing scumbag Ted.
Cruz is another ivy grad.
Thank you Debbie Downer!
Ken Paxton as AG would just be all kinds of awesome !!
Robert Kennedy Jr. as CIA Director…I love it!
Kennedy for CIA? Don’t like this one. Trump needs a ruthless reformer for this position to end all the skullduggery for once and for all! GEN Flynn would be ideal.
With all deference Sundance, Vivek Ramaswamy is is a deep state prodigy – identified, recruited, groomed and set atop shell corporations by Wallstreet.
Pence 2.0 in the making.
Surprised Gen Flynn is not on the list.
