I’ve been reading about Saul & David and thought about Trump. When you think about it, the situation today is very similar in the way the powerful government is trying to destroy & take out President Trump, the one person trying to do right for his country and the people.
Truth to tell, there are many, many people trying to do right for this country. Men like Andrew Breitbart, Rich Higgins and Phil Haney, who gave their lives. And many others whose names will never be known.
President Trump has done a magnificent job in his role, no one can deny it. But this is a team effort, and we should always remember:

Your first job is to get our government back on track. That means prohibiting government employee unions and be able to bring new teams in when there is a change in administrations. No more deep state unelected fiefdoms that have permanent longevity and usurp elected powers.

OK, think about this scenario. PDJT takes office as the 47th President of the United States on January 20th, 2025. The very next day, half of the federal work force announces they are going on strike.
What could/would/should be PDJT’s next move in such a situation? Give the strikers a day to think about it; and if some or all don’t resume their assigned work responsibilities the next day, terminate for insubordination everyone who refused to come back?
Hurry and terminate them immediately so they can’t change their minds.

Unusually for me over the past week I can’t seem to find the words to express what I want to say. They are there, but get stuck between heart and “pen”. Nor can we let go of our hope and our faith in God’s eternal presence, even as sometimes He seem to be silent. We are His people and the sheep of His Pasture. Kenji, I remember during the hideous lockdown years I saw a photo from the beautiful Norwegian mountains where there was a lovely church which had forbidden those who weren’t jabbed from partaking in Christmas services. And there were outside multitudes bundled up in the snow singing carols , welcoming our Saviour into this fallen world…fallen so much further since then. A terrible thing to read the legend under that photo on one hand. But on the other it was a picture to fill the heart.
I spent many minutes just staring at it, thinking about what a perfect metaphor it was for the birth of Christ. I am betting those shut out of that church on that night felt closer to God than those who were inside.

so far am up to page 27, but on pages 23 and 24 PDJT’s lawyers bring up possibly illegal actions by Bush (the lie about Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction) and by Obama (the murder by drone of 2 US citizens) that, if it is true that acts taken by a President can be used to make him/her criminally liable after they leave office, as is trying to be done to PDJT, then – I think that paragraph alone puts the swamp folk on notice if they come for Trump we coming for them!

With this move, nothing has been decided. If my impressions hold that SCOTUS wants to intervene as little as possible in electoral processes (in ’20 Alito didn’t find four votes about 2.5+ million mail in ballots dispute in PA), then it could be that the decision only affects GOP primaries in CO. As a result, SCOTUS would gradually become involved in further cases.
After the primary season comes to an end and assuming President Trump accumulated enough pledged delegates to be the GOP nominee, the “Free the Delegates” movement will come in play and various court cases aiming to block Trump.
