The insurrection clause bars officials who have engaged in insurrection or rebellion from holding office.

The Ukrainian government needs to look at what Germany did in WWII to stand a chance against Russia, according to Ben Hodges, former commander of US Army forces stationed in Europe.
Hodges, who retired as a lieutenant-general in 2017, has long been an outspoken supporter of Ukraine. In an interview with the Australian YouTuber Perun, published over the weekend, he repeatedly cited examples from the Second World War to argue that Kiev can defeat Moscow on the battlefield.
“They are gonna have to increase production of ammunition and weapons in Ukraine,” Hodges said. “Some of these things are already happening, but it is possible when you are at war to increase production, even with Russian missiles raining down on your cities.”

Lots of nice beaches in Ukraine. I watched a lot of these live shots during the summer when this was taken.
The Black Sea beaches at Odessa are nice…. in summer. I was there mostly during the winter . I think one can support location with the people in the video, especially the men. They look Slavic to me. My family is from Russia; they left during the Revolution.
I see it a lot like here in the U.S. ….. some of us are suffering and dying, others are partying like nothing is going on out there.

My guess is that video was taken in the Sochi area. The combination of mountains, snow capped here, and beaches looks right. My remembrance of the area around Odessa was that it was flat. Unlike illegally and pointlessly trespassing in Capital buildings or doing other illegal things which is what they’d actually prefer because of the opportunity it presents to put you in prison, here’s a perfectly legal protest which is something that will negatively affect your “leaders” and their true owners in the only areas in which they are interested: money and power.

Item #2 can be accomplished in many ways other than moving to a cabin in Idaho: kids should NOT have smart phones, only small, cheap phones with text and voice service ONLY; send the kids to trade schools for lucrative trades that won’t go obsolete and can’t be shipped overseas; enlist for four years into a low-probability-of-death military branch like the USAF into a guaranteed career field with high value in the civilian world (ex., communications equipment installation and maintenance; jet engine mechanic; IT, etc.) and take advantage of the associated college educational benefits in technical subjects, not liberal arts crap. Replace items only when they break, etc., etc….

#1 & #2 has been completed for awhile. #3 is somewhat difficult in my town which makes #4 tough. Our banks are local.
I did #1 around 25 years ago. In addition got almost entirely off the associated “Insurance” trap, with the only Insurance being the legally required liabilty on our 2 25 y.o. vehicles.
As a result of these and other lifestyle choices, we live BELOW our “means” not slightly above (as so many that are caught in the debt trap merry-go-round of keep-up-with-the-joneses do) and so actually have “$ left over” every month, which we can invest in further moving towards sustainable self-sufficient lifestyle, that cuts the cord to the supply chains of civilisation.

A chronicle of what’s been shattered yields a litany of horribles: educational losses, ruined businesses, rampant mental illness, medical injury, homelessness, job upheaval and loss, depleted arts, wrecked families and communities, inflation, ruined national accounts, a generation of students traumatized, bitter political divisions, and a widespread lack of hope in the future.
That list is only a fraction of the cost. And the words above are anodyne to the real experiences of people. Whenever the subject comes up in private conversation, the result is a jaw-dropping accounting of personal despair and tragedy, often followed by tears under some circumstances. Constitutional government was shot and most of what we believed was and was not possible in public life was torched by the sheer ferocity of tyranny pushed by mostly unelected bureaucrats.
None of what you just read is overtly disputed by anyone. Hardly anyone can be found today who defends what happened, except perhaps in the most sheepish terms, and nearly always with the obviously false proviso that “We just didn’t know then what we know now.” That seems like a shabby excuse for what’s resulted. The public silence over this entire subject is beyond bizarre [Nah… In the western world, we live in games and circuses distracted, intentionally dumbed down, attention deficit societies that just want the subject to go away despite it’s Nuremberg crimes against humanity level offenses. – W]. There are political conventions happening all over the country. They are attended by thousands. Everyone is rallying about and for something. But the Covid response hardly comes up. When it does, it is quick and perfunctory conversation and quickly dropped. The only two candidates who dwell on the topic at all – Ron DeSantis and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. – are systematically marginalized and silenced, with large and active juntas of opposition working around the clock.
It is deeply dishonest to say that DeSantis “dwells” on Covid response issues. He tries to capitalize on a perceived quantitative difference in the amount of tyranny that he employed, and that’s not the same thing at all.
I would go farther than that.
Events of the last 8 years or so, the “era of Trump” by exposing long accepted lies and manipulations, and thereby undermining so much credibility, have cause the “supply and demand” effect to apply to both TRUTH and the closely interrelated CREDIBILITY.
Hence, the percieved value of both has gone UP, as the supply has shrunk.
With Truth percieved as being rare and prescious there are a # of people stepping up to market themselves as champions of, or speakers of truth, leveraging truty in order to bank credibility.

That being said, should not ALL of these lawsuits be immediately fought against with counter suits, demanding financial consequences and reimbursements to President Trump?
Including, SPECIFICALLY, the Colorado Supreme Court?
After all, they are costing him VAST amounts of money to fight lawsuits that have been destroyed since *1898*!

Just had a co-worker had to retire early because of cancer. She was a full Covid Vaxxer, who has been constantly sick and has gotten Covid, since the vaxxes, which she got “AFTER” she got Covid the first time, thus destroying her natural immunity.
