I hope everyone is living their best life despite the created chaos intended to destabilize us. Several people have inquired about my not writing extensive research articles lately. Here’s what’s up…
There is actually a confluence of merging events that requires me to pause and think long and hard about whether the next step is correct for our CTH community in general, and specifically for me personally. It’s also very hard to write about this stuff without sounding like a braggadocious nut.
Here’s the problem that 360 million+ people do not comprehend.
♦ I need you to think about the person you are familiar with who you believe has a solid grasp of the scale of the problem in DC. This person doesn’t need to solve it, they just need to understand how massive the problem is. Who is the person you would say understands the root and essential core problem that creates the corruption in DC? Does that person in your mind, the person who really understands at a granular level what this corrupt enterprise is really all about and how it works, does that person look like Donald Trump, or Devin Nunes, or Kash Patel, or Ric Grenell?
Who would you assign that competency skillset to? Seriously, no joke – honest question, who understands the scale of the problem?
Here’s the hard pill to swallow, it doesn’t matter what name you put down, you are wrong. None of the aforementioned names, or any others, have a total picture of the problem from both a macro and micro view. None of them do.
The silo system in DC creates impenetrable barriers. I have not found a single person who knows how it all works and connects as a corrosive cancer buried deep inside our U.S. political system.
Factually, and I mean this with no joke at all, if you have been reading here for a while you have a better grasp on the problem than any elected politician. This is not a disposable line. I’m deadly serious. I have not found a single person inside the system who understands the dynamic that creates what they claim to stand against, not a single person.
So how can they fix it? Short answer, they can’t.
The only people qualified to fix this mess are the people who understand it.
Again, do you know who that is?

♦ After 12 years of stewardship over our conversation, literally 24/7/365, I also admitted I was not following my own advice. As Dr. Stephen Covey would say, “I was not sharpening the saw.”
I did not write for 3 days over the Memorial Day holiday of 2011, but other than that (and time spent in Hurricane recovery) every day I have researched, written and worked on this labor of love we call the Treehouse.
As time continued, the network of the Treehouse resources grew. We now have the ability to contact and review just about every facet of that previously described corrupt system.
I spend more time in contact with those resources now, answering their questions and raising a few more nuanced points for my own inquires. This, along with travel to educate myself, is how I can assert with confidence that no one understands the problem better than, well, us.
However, when you spend time facing down this corrupt system, it starts to gnaw at you… bigly. I am a person with strong central disposition, not easily knocked off mission and certainly not ever destabilized by the professional liars. But dealing with them, writing about their schemes, putting the sunlight on them (not what they would have us see) while constantly monitoring their moves, is exhausting.
♦ At the same time as the above came into clarity, I was also planning for the 2024 election year. Y’all know it’s going to be ugly… the scale of government institutions that are going to align against Donald Trump is going to make 2016 seem like a stroll in the park.
Part of that planning included the potential to launch a twice weekly recap podcast. Literally a mechanism to distill CTH articles and analysis into 30-minute, no extra words, straight talk about events. Twice a week (Sat/Wed). Self-hosted and only viewed here on CTH as the originating platform.
Everything at CTH stays the same, but every Saturday and Wednesday there would be a recap video on the more challenging stuff. Many people have asked, but there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out before such an endeavor is considered.
I discussed the technical issues with our server and data processing group, they feel confident they could handle the traffic. However, that’s the same thing they said right before the unique CTH issue of ‘simultaneous users’ surprised them.
Put it all together and I decided to sit still and pray about the next steps.
It is true that something has to change, something or someone needs to break through the nonsense and pretending. It is also true that continuing to do the same thing while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
I made a promise to pause, think, study, learn and pray before making any decision. And I needed the break.

There have been times when things seemed all tied up in a knot and it looked impossible to correct.
But God knows how the knot became formed and which string to pull that will begin the unraveling in a controlled manner. When asking Him what to do, obeying the “pulling the string He says to pull” has always been an amazing experience in how to correct something.
I see this as the same for the evil web trying to choke the nation.
We the People can ask for the same thing, knowing we need to be the string pullers.
God can orchestrate all of us, skattered across this land. We just choose to decide if we will step up to pull the string (take the specific action He indicates we personally should take.)
It’s been all downhill since 1781 in Yorktown VA. Nothing will change until another Yorktown defeat of tyranny! And I mean that sincerely. Unfortunately, it will never happen because there are very few “Americans” left.
Sorry Sundance, no amount of blogging or podcasts will change anything. If you’re in your late 60’s like me just ride it out as best you can and pray for your children and your younger friends.

Looking at messaging, podcasts are most similar to radio programs like Rush’s. The plus here is that by using a podcast hosting service listeners can subscribe and podcasts are automatically downloaded to their phones. I think both iPhones and Androids have pre-installed listening apps. Podcasts are very popular and can reach a lot of people. They’re easy to listen to while doing other things such as commuting or exercising.
A YouTube channel would allow (maybe, considering how leftist YouTube is) something similar to Neil Oliver. I always read the transcript rather than watching and listening. Possibly RSBN would be a good fit? Maybe a future option.
People learn differently, some are audio learners, some visual, so a combo of those would be effective. Bill Whittle comes to mind. He started with short talks and has built a big network, so think about eventual expansion too. Glenn Beck on Fox back when did a really good job with his blackboard.
How’s your voice, Sundance? You’re definitely a pro at what you’re doing now but most who speak professionally benefit from some speech training. I can’t stand Mark Levin’s voice (don’t like him for other reasons too, like doxxing and insulting certain people) so I never listen to him. Do a test podcast, check your speaking speed and clarity.
Your podcast episodes can be elevated by a bit of theme music, just a snippet at the beginning and end, and by a title for each episode. No need to go overboard on that. Close with an invitation to the CTH site. Think about the possibility of guests on your podcasts and, if possible, offer to be a guest on other podcasts.
Always remember the old PBS mantra: to Educate, Inspire and Entertain. Jesus showed us the power of the parable, and you often utilize that in your writing as well as your personal stories. Make a connection.

We talk amongst ourselves here but i constantly shake my head at how so many normies are so clueless, even many of the experts who contibute worthy information.
But for those striving through life, who has time to learn what is happening and to do something about it?
I listen to alot of podcasts,I like alot of the true crime stuff, but also a fair amount of political/current event pods and I am blown away at how often a host or guest is presented with a fact or theory or quote that I have been aware of for some time, and they are positively unaware of said fact. It happens all the time and some of these shows are HUGE with big staffs and production.
I am worried that people won’t listen to facts. They will not engage in debate or accept anything that I say or look at any links and they say that they “don’t care about privacy” and “trump is literally hitler” or “that’s not true” and they never bother to even look at it. I can’t seem to convince anyone of anything at any time. It’s some kind of cult. Maybe I need deprogramming lessons.

I cannot recall who said this, but it’s good: Remember that anytime you are engaged in a discussion with an unbeliever (politics or faith), whether or not you ultimately convince him (or her) of the truth is not as important as the clarity and honesty of the facts you present within your argument.
Why? Because a third party unnoticed by either of you may be listening to the debate and, because they aren’t “on the spot” to counter either side, are probably listening with more of their brain tuned into the content and manner in which it is presented.
You might unknowingly pique their interest in hearing more of what you have to say in a seperate conversation or going home and researching what they remember you presented.

Steph, I do not recall that. I’ve been listening to Bongino’s podcasts since they were audio only. Now they are approx. 1 hour videos on RUMBLE.
I do not ever remember him negative on President Trump, in fact he frequently says unequivocally that he is voting for Trump unless Trump for some reason doesn’t run. Once in a blue moon Dan has expressed a difference he has with something specific Trump says or does, but we all do that and Dan always qualifies it by noting that it does not change his support or intention to vote for PDJT.
While he was a frequent guest on Fox News evening shows and later when he had his own 10pm show on Fox, “Unfiltered” I always thought he seemed “filtered” – forced to NOT talk abut the 2020 election fraud, because he never did, directly. He alluded to it a few times but very obliquely. After he quit the Fox network, he soon afterwards started speaking MUCH more openly about political happenings and has excoriated the Dems’ (& corrupt Republicans) vote fraud multiple times.
Listen to him over a couple of weeks and you will see a slightly different & more passionate, truly unfiltered Dan than one you may remember from a few years back.
“Video content” is very expensive in terms of server resources, because the server must simultaneously supply a lot of data to potentially a large number of users at one time. I do not think that this would actually be of benefit to the CTH site, and I would not pursue it here.
Some sort of bit torrent would probably make more sense in terms of hosting. Peer to peer video hosting like all of the file sharing apps of the past. We may have to resort to this method in the future for other reasons for all alternative media consumption. A complete peer to peer freedom network serving up all types of content…text/markup, video, audio, streaming, etc. With this method, the content can’t be pulled down from one source. I might have to dig into this a little.
Years ago I worked for the big agency that handled all of Coca-Cola’s advertising. I got that job thru a magazine I was writing for. The first jet plane ride I ever had in my life was in one of Coca-Cola’s jets. They flew us to NYC for a big press conference where the agency executives were rolling out the new It’s The Real Thing campaign.
That campaign changed the advertising game; and not only soft-drink advertising. It changed how copywriters, art directors and account exec’s thought about advertising for their clients. Music and excellent photography were the keys to Coca-Cola’s success with that campaign. They blew their competition out of the water.
Fast forward to Right Now: Podcasting, youtube, etc, strike me as old-fashion already. The half-life of anything in modern media is now in permanent decline. They just don’t make’em like they used to. lol. As I write these words I’m trying to imagine a format or stylization of information that is so far out of the box it will change the game of political news, cultural news, news about how normal people work and live.
The creeps who run the show these days are using (more or less) the same format that burst on the media scene when It’s The Real Thing broke out. It’s definitely time for something new but I can’t imagine what it might be. Because like King Solomon once observed, “There is nothing new under the sun.” Whatever happens will be a rehash of what has happened before. Figuring out how to attractively update the commonplace is best-case
Human beings are creatures of habit. The creeps running this global con are specializing in habituating as many as possible into accepting the impossibility of resisting their lies. A lot of people are already sold-out. Figuring out a way to help them break their chains is a tall order. The #1 product being sold by the creeps in charge today: cynicism. A lot of people, especially young people are totally sold on cynicism. That’s my $.02 for now.

I’ve been thinking for some time how great if CTH had a podcast as it would reach so many more people and be a godsend for those who have poor vision as I have.
I send videos/podcasts to my mother and sister who live in Europe, plus info from CTH and other sources. My mother is 96 years old and blind. Her mind is as sharp as ever. She and I have also had interactions with some of the evil characters in the political and financial worlds. We just didn’t realize how extensive their influence is.

I took Feynman’s advice to “Take the World from a Different Point of View.” This has allowed me to look at “silos” as Patton looked at “fixed fortifications.” They can be side stepped.
What I have discovered has no right being so simple. Everyone is very familiar with all of the components. We talk about them every day. However, no one has put them together in the right order. The best analogy I can think of is the artist who draws a picture that is incomprehensible until it is turned upside down. Then it becomes obvious.
My problem has been getting to the next level. That is, being able to speak to people such as yourself who over years have built a platform. Like you, I believe we are running out of time. Building my own platform is not an option.
We do have one mutual friend. You know him very well. I believe he could be imposed upon to make an introduction, if you need one.

I think podcasts are a brilliant idea. Whether we choose to admit it, or not, a wider audience is definitely needed, but most of that wider audience has been raised on the “want it now”. They don’t read, they listen for catchy soundbites, and broadcast them without thought.

I love the new podcast plan. I am optimistic that it will help to educate the masses and reinforce the messages that many of us read here daily.
Although mostly quietly lurking, I think I’ve been visiting the Treehouse for around 10 years. Like most here, we build upon the history and knowledge acquired. I often have a difficult time sharing my knowledge with people who do not have this same base of information. Too many have blindly eaten the nuggets of ‘news’ fed to them by the mainstream media and even some very convincing ‘conservative’ influencers; too many have lost all critical thinking skills. The new podcast sounds like a great way to spread more truth to more people in a different format and hopefully crack through more closed minds.
My continued prayers for your protection in every aspect of your life, and prayers for God’s guidance through it all.

You have a very heavy weight on your shoulders, Sundance. So many of us depend upon you and your amazing insight. I come here to find the truth. Many of us are retired or close to retirement. Please call us all into action.
Podcast twice a week is big undertaking. Start once a week. See how that goes. Heck, just start with one podcast, see how that goes. Don’t bite off more than you can chew to start or set unrealistic expectations that can sap productive energy. Slow goes it with mastering a new format for you. If it comes natural you’ll know it. Building the infrastructure at the beginning that contemplates expansion is smart. But don’t ink contracts and commitments to fulfill expansion until you demonstrate proof of concept and desire to jump in with both feet.
Sadly the simple truth is, decades of an inept educational system has resulted in millions of our citizens having poor reading and comprehension skills. This is by design of course as an illiterate population is much easier to control. We certainly have seen proof of this in the Covid-19 response from the public. Taking this into consideration, a podcast may produce a surprising results.
I have been watching this slow and deliberate disintegration of our America for the past 50 years. When I became aware of the puppet strings, it just about sent me over the edge. I was a hair dresser and every patron that sat in my chair got an earful, like it or not. I felt it was my obligation to spread the word. Back then, most people were in denial of anything close to what I described could ever happen in our beloved country. At least now a large portion of our population has a fair idea what is going on. They may not be able to assemble the entire puzzle, but they know we are in deep du-du. This has occurred because of people like Sundance who are willing to spend the time, effort and energy to provide volumes of truth for us to digest. It has taken decades to get people to even recognize we have a problem.
Sundance, you have provided an “earful” to those who seek truth. They come voluntarily and are well equipped to spread truth to others. Thank you so much for that. There is no doubt in my mind the decisions you will make for the future will be the right ones. Stay strong and take good care of yourself and your treeper helpers.

I remember watching Mueller testify (crash & burn) before Congress trying to explain what the Weissmann “Russia, Russia, Russia!” “investigation” uncovered and a question posed to him about Joseph Mifsud – – – Mueller seriously seem to have no idea who Misfud was, whereas those who spend time at CTH knew he was an integral player in the operation against Team Trump (Durham didn’t mention Mifsud either).
I do often find it frustrating myself trying to explain things to those who insist on talking politics, but haven’t the slightest idea of what the hell is happening in this country beyond the MSM / Democrat media version they’re being fed.
Unfortunately, the bottom line – and the problem we can not solve – is the fact that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them think.
Ignorance, intellectual laziness and apathy (willful ignorance) are our biggest obstacles.
I think in many cases it can eventually get through. Ever wonder why ministers, teachers, motivational speakers, parents, salespeople and others repeat themselves so often? It’s called ‘effective frequency’. PDJT and Sundance do it too.
It can take from 3 to 9 times of telling someone something before it sticks. Sean Conner wrote on this re advertising/branding in Say It 7 Times: The Art of Overcommunication. You can’t tell most people something important just once. It’s likely they won’t hear you the first several times.
It doesn’t have to be exactly the same way either, though the same words/message are churned out by media. Several years ago I read that when media ownership consolidated into 6 mega corporations, all used AI for their messaging. That’s why we hear the same phrasing (such as “the walls are closing in”, etc.) from all of them. This message multiplication gives the left a huge advantage.
Subliminal messaging works too. Media manipulates photos and footage of PDJT to make him appear orange, shorter or heavier. Our side has memes and post-its or stickers on gas pumps and grocery shelves.
We can’t stop trying. We wouldn’t tell our kids just once to look both ways when crossing the street, no, we repeat ad nauseam to be sure the message sticks with them. We need to make that same type of effort for our country. The more conservative voices that speak up the better. Even if you think it’s not making a difference, you never know when something will stick.
The podcast is a great idea. The truth is that many today do not read. It is another medium that will undoubtedly reach some who have not been programed beyond hope yet.

Everyone learns differently. Some people are visual, so they like to read and see the words. Some people learn through tactile interface. They have to “do it” and feel it to learn it. Some people like to listen and mentally take notes because sitting still and reading is hard for them. Seems like Sundance is offering an additional communication path without subtracting anything from the current format.
I would be very happy to listen to the podcasts through my headphones-able to move around and not glued to staring at my phone. Although I know I can’t give up reading the articles and all the great comments as well.
To me the biggest thing we can do is try and enlighten the unaware as to what is really going on. Once we get enough people aware the bad actors will be on the defensive. My wife and I break the unaware into 2 main groups: The Pretenders and The Insecures. (Note: I am ignoring the group that is aware and has no problem with what is going on.)
The Pretenders (Sundance talks a lot about this group) think everything is normal and any problems we are experiencing will resolve themselves in due course. Thus there is no need to investigate the problems or worry about a few bad actors. In psychological terms this is called Normalcy Bias.
The Insecures are driven almost exclusively by social acceptance and thus will not listen to ideas or facts that fall outside what is approved by their circle. This is called Compliancy Bias.
Different strategies are required for helping these groups become more aware and it’s likely far easier to wake up The Pretenders than The Insecures because The Insecures have a deeper psychological weakness.
For The Pretenders, simple (but repeated) exposure to basic truths about what is going on should help. Use facts, not opinions. For The Insecures, you probably need to take a more aggressive approach. Shame them for being weak, for following the herd. You will likely lose them as friends (temporarily) but you will make them think about themselves and they may change.

The main reason I enjoy coming to the site is the unapologetic truth found here.
Although not opposed to podcasts, I find them much too “Formulaic”.
The “Process” of producing a podcast for the masses requires one to take in to account the “Sensibilities” of the masses. The cold hard, unapologetic, no agenda truth, is often “Tempered” somewhat (a reasonable consideration) to not provoke some to an emotional reaction to the information vs an intelligent one. (The rolling of the eyes vs connecting the dots, if you will)
In movie making, there are a handful of formulaic “Plots”. Each has been tested over time and perfected to achieve maximum effectiveness (profit).
The actors change. The locations change. The minutiae changes. The “Formula” stays essentially the same.
(How many NCIS (insert your favorite city here) series have there been? Boy meets Girl? Aliens Invade? Lived happily ever after?)
If the intent of a podcast is to deliver cold hard, unapologetic, no agenda truth, and dots are hoped to be connected, imho, a new formula needs to be considered.
If herding cats (connecting and understanding, what may seem disjointed, unrelated and independent facts) is what lies in store during the presentation, many are simply going to call it a day and head to the barn.
Imho, a brand new, out of the box cliffhanger, is what is needed. One that keeps you at the edge of your seat. Something so engrossing the thought of going to the bathroom or grabbing some 🍿 doesn’t even register.

First off…..I disagree with everyone on here speaking down on DJT. Do you have somebody better in mind? Do you know of someone else who has put everything on the line for this country and your vote? His business, his family, his fortune and his life. So even if you do know someone, is that person willing to do this? Probably not. And to lump Trump in with the political class is obviously not seeing that Trump is outside of that….and has seen inside and behind their curtain. Deeper than anyone on here and more aware of things we have no clue on or about. And if you Don’t think he understands the magnitude of what we are dealing with….than none of us here do either! One only knows anything….no matter what it is through experience….dealing with it….going through it. You can read all you want about something, you may know the words verbatim, but you do not know the experience….the reality of going through those words in and through an experience. That is the whole reason man is here….to know himself through experience….the experience of this thing we call life! Without it….we would not know it. There is no one better that DJT right now to go back to the White House and do what needs to be done. Why do you think…even as Sundance mentions here…the whole of the deepstate swamp will be up in arms against this man in 2024? Because….he promised to give the POWER back to the people! That makes him…and us an exponential threat to them. No better way than to UNITE! That’s the point here! And to do that….we need to coalesce around him and support him in his effort to get back into the White House. It was never about another 4 year election…it was about exposing and replacing a corrupt and rigged system and giving the POWER back to the people! I’m a little dismayed at those who think that there is no one who has an idea of what is going on and the depth of the corruption. Does anyone really know the extents of this….on this site or people you might know? Probably not….we would all be shocked I’m sure! And to think there is not something in the works by Trump and team…other than just trying to win another election I believe is naive. You don’t think from the days of JFK….through all the other orchestrated things including 911….that there is nobody that is trying or has a plan of sorts to do something and take the country back? Because if one thinks that it is up to people like us on here that probably are more aware than most……were talking 1776 stuff! Working at local levels attempting to win elections one by one will take years if not decades….the jump they have on us will never be overtaken….and by the time it would make a difference…this country would be lost! I have faith! I have faith that there are people who feel and believe like I do….and I have seen it….that there is more going on than meets the eye! And a lot of that is expressed through the body language and actions of Trump. One must really listen to what he says and analyze the words….he does know what is going on and there is a plan! The Art of the Deal was written…..and with the spirit of The Art of War! We are in a war. Has nobody listened to General Flynn…are you telling me this is a guy that does not have a grasp on what is and has been going on? Sorry….I don’t believe that! He has experienced the enemy and knows the enemy is within! And he stands with Trump and team! THAT is where I suggest everybody else get! Stand with Trump and team unless you have a better idea! Yes….this next year is going to be and get ugly…but that’s war. Be glad it’s not with bullets…yet! The way we make a difference is…UNITED! And that’s how we stand up to this…UNITED! SUGGESTION: Do not necessarily use the CTH as the direct means of broadcasting this info. For instance (and just an example) what about a twice a week podcast (by whatever name) using Carlson Tucker and “X” as the media? Might even be commercially profitable.

Everything has to become worse than it is for the public to notice. They are frogs in the pot.
We are a lazy nation living off the investments, ingenuity, and labors of others. Especially those who have come before.

As I get older I become more convinced that I don’t know the depths of my own ignorance, and by the time I’m really old and gray, I’ll be convinced I was a fool all along.
Might I suggest respectfully that your growth in engagement is organic. People that are capable of viewing the world with the same analytical lens filter in, and I’d imagine the strength of the aligned values between commentators and site moderation weed those that don’t out. To create more engagement you’ll have to fundamentally challenge and change the principles that make up the worldview of others. Bring them into alignment with your analytical lens through fellowship. If you don’t do that you are left with the pretending. The Last Refuge tends to look inwards for like minded people, you are going to need to tweak things or change the formula to look outward and spread the gospel.
It’s the end of mankind’s run at running this world Sundance. The Lord’s return is the answer, and nothing else.
I have often said on this site, there is no one that understands the issue, players, details and workings of this evil corruption that has taken over our country, better than Sundance.

I knew it! So many here wrote being worried that they hadn’t heard from you. I kept writing here that you were on a break from all the work you had done, and to leave you alone. One commenter even asked me how I knew this. It was very simple really: working non stop with deep thinking and writing can overcome a writer on an level more than physical. As a student in my studies at universities with research and writing, I also experienced after a while that exhaustion takes over, and I was no where near the output of Sundance’s researches and all that he had written. Giving, giving, giving is commendable, but exhausing.
