I hope everyone is living their best life despite the created chaos intended to destabilize us. Several people have inquired about my not writing extensive research articles lately. Here’s what’s up…
There is actually a confluence of merging events that requires me to pause and think long and hard about whether the next step is correct for our CTH community in general, and specifically for me personally. It’s also very hard to write about this stuff without sounding like a braggadocious nut.
Here’s the problem that 360 million+ people do not comprehend.
♦ I need you to think about the person you are familiar with who you believe has a solid grasp of the scale of the problem in DC. This person doesn’t need to solve it, they just need to understand how massive the problem is. Who is the person you would say understands the root and essential core problem that creates the corruption in DC? Does that person in your mind, the person who really understands at a granular level what this corrupt enterprise is really all about and how it works, does that person look like Donald Trump, or Devin Nunes, or Kash Patel, or Ric Grenell?
Who would you assign that competency skillset to? Seriously, no joke – honest question, who understands the scale of the problem?
Here’s the hard pill to swallow, it doesn’t matter what name you put down, you are wrong. None of the aforementioned names, or any others, have a total picture of the problem from both a macro and micro view. None of them do.
The silo system in DC creates impenetrable barriers. I have not found a single person who knows how it all works and connects as a corrosive cancer buried deep inside our U.S. political system.
Factually, and I mean this with no joke at all, if you have been reading here for a while you have a better grasp on the problem than any elected politician. This is not a disposable line. I’m deadly serious. I have not found a single person inside the system who understands the dynamic that creates what they claim to stand against, not a single person.
So how can they fix it? Short answer, they can’t.
The only people qualified to fix this mess are the people who understand it.
Again, do you know who that is?

♦ After 12 years of stewardship over our conversation, literally 24/7/365, I also admitted I was not following my own advice. As Dr. Stephen Covey would say, “I was not sharpening the saw.”
I did not write for 3 days over the Memorial Day holiday of 2011, but other than that (and time spent in Hurricane recovery) every day I have researched, written and worked on this labor of love we call the Treehouse.
As time continued, the network of the Treehouse resources grew. We now have the ability to contact and review just about every facet of that previously described corrupt system.
I spend more time in contact with those resources now, answering their questions and raising a few more nuanced points for my own inquires. This, along with travel to educate myself, is how I can assert with confidence that no one understands the problem better than, well, us.
However, when you spend time facing down this corrupt system, it starts to gnaw at you… bigly. I am a person with strong central disposition, not easily knocked off mission and certainly not ever destabilized by the professional liars. But dealing with them, writing about their schemes, putting the sunlight on them (not what they would have us see) while constantly monitoring their moves, is exhausting.
♦ At the same time as the above came into clarity, I was also planning for the 2024 election year. Y’all know it’s going to be ugly… the scale of government institutions that are going to align against Donald Trump is going to make 2016 seem like a stroll in the park.
Part of that planning included the potential to launch a twice weekly recap podcast. Literally a mechanism to distill CTH articles and analysis into 30-minute, no extra words, straight talk about events. Twice a week (Sat/Wed). Self-hosted and only viewed here on CTH as the originating platform.
Everything at CTH stays the same, but every Saturday and Wednesday there would be a recap video on the more challenging stuff. Many people have asked, but there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out before such an endeavor is considered.
I discussed the technical issues with our server and data processing group, they feel confident they could handle the traffic. However, that’s the same thing they said right before the unique CTH issue of ‘simultaneous users’ surprised them.
Put it all together and I decided to sit still and pray about the next steps.
It is true that something has to change, something or someone needs to break through the nonsense and pretending. It is also true that continuing to do the same thing while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
I made a promise to pause, think, study, learn and pray before making any decision. And I needed the break.

Sundance for analysis, you are the tip of the spear in this subject. At some point, just as with Trump, the fix will not be a one person job. However, change requires a plan that has goals that are clear, actionable, trackable, and quantifiable that addresses true root causes.
The treehouse has definitely pulled the curtain back to reveal there is a problem with how the republic is functioning. Now may be the time to consider linking arms to expand the definition of success to include more than just heightened awareness.
The treehouse may need to consider becoming more than a digital forum and more like a concrete network. I for one am tired of hearing about the Soros network doing things in the real world that are directly impacting our lives and seeing no real equivalent MAGA network. The unspoken truth of the matter is simply our only overt activity has been attending Trump rallies by the 10s of 1000s.
At some point, the resolve to do more will need to translate into action. While it is not my intention to volunteer another to lead the change, since I am just a guest, I am am willing to commit my talents to physically participate on the Texas team. Just to be clear, I am not a billionaire, so we will still need a patron.
I am like you in what you have posted.
We may have the numbers but we need to connect those numbers together thru one foundation with the money and staff that can compete against the corrupt foundations.
We need like minded billionaires, plus all of us to fund an action group.
As ever thanks so much Sundance. I have been thinking about this critical question and I have a suggestion: we fight the silos as good has always fought evil with truth. The way to fight centralized authority is not with other centralized authority, it is with small independently moving actors who spring up spontaneously where needed – like Hayek writes about language and markets.
Starting with what knowledge we have and spreading it. For example – please bear with me here. I know a lot about one particular federal agency, their silos, and how a lot of well meaning people in one area ‘just presume’ that other areas do what they say they are doing. I have a ton of practical specific info which could be of great value to someone trying to persuade a govt actor why he should act – in accordance with the laws – to choose a different pathway. I am a lawyer but what if regular people could access the useful facts for their own use.
Why can’t we set up a marketplace of ideas — practical facts, cites, records, effective techniques available to each other to use on your own missions ? Categories could be a problem but start with executive agencies by name and break it down from there. We learn from each other and teach other and along the way – arm each other with facts.
I understand what Sundance is saying about silos but my experience is that silos can be broken down with truth and dogged persistence. Get used to being disliked. Just a though and I am open to suggestion

The pen is faster and more comprehensive. It can also be more incisive, such as a meme that shows a blatant contradiction in the narrative.
We need the right information funneled to the right people, people in a position to do something with that information.

Pretty sure he does. His post-Faux News podcast is very reflective of CTH principles. I’ve been following it for a couple of years now.
It was originally blissfully ad-free, but I think he needed an income stream directly after the lawsuit, so it changed then.
I don’t remember his mentioning CTH specifically, but he might have.
Don’t know for sure but my favorite radio host Jeff Kuhner WRKO, Boston morning radio did a show one morning resembling a CTH Sundance post from the day before. He has a podcast too which I listen to when I can’t catch the show. They call him the Boston Bulldozer, but since he started his program the former history professor, Washington Times editor has acquired serious health problems.
I don’t know how he and Sundance can sift through all this vile garbage day after day w/o having health problems. Day after day they bring their A game, to inform us, to warn us, but they do need to take a break from it or we will be without them. I don’t know about Sundance but Jeff has said he gets death threats every day from the moon bats in Massachusetts.

I concur. I listen to Jeff Kuhner almost every morning and come to CTH a couple of times a day. These two sources along with Steve Bannon’s Warroom, Jack Posobiec’s Human Events & daily prayer ( Holy Rosary) and frequent reception of The Eucharist at the Traditional Latin Mass are what keep this 66 year old grandfather of six, soon to be seven going. I pray for Sundance and all of the aforementioned. God has put all of us here at this time for good reason. It’s going to get worse before it gets better. It will get better, though. Put on our armor and let’s slog through this and get President Trump back in the White House for starters.

Yes… just our knowledge/awareness of the depth of dangerous corruption inside our govt (fed and state) is staggering, seems insurmountable… and is exhausting.
So… Sundance explaining it to us, after thorough research and analysis, would be “off-the-charts” exhausting for him.
There are many leftist/dems in my extended family… plus I still have a few Dem semi- friends, sort of.
Even most of my Rep family and friends are still operating on past conservative views of how the world functions and who they believe our Republican politicians are. It’s very hard to get them to see, let alone accept, that what we’ve believed re: our side … isn’t true. No one wants to believe it on either side of the isle. I don’t want to believe it. Acceptimg that OUR government has devolved into a systemically severely corrupt, even anti-constitutional, entity is devastating and terrifying.
Some have said: “I don’t want to talk about it. I’m struggling through xyz (job, kids, financed) and even if you are right, and I don’t think u r, there is nothing I can do about it.”
I spoke with one R family member the other day who said re: support for Ukraine that “we/USA cannot be isolationists.”
Yah, that was my view too. Now, I realize we/our govt is not actually trying to “make the world safe for democracy.” Just the opposite. We incite wars we have no intention of winning. The result is the world becomes a more dangerous and unstable place because of our deliberate and reckless actions.
Yesterday, I spoke with a leftist Dem cousin. She’s traveling to DC to participate in a pro-Israel protest. She was raised Irish Catholic, emphasis on the Irish. Now, she’s dating a Jew she hopes to marry. She’s dated other Jewish men too… and is considering converting to Judaism. Because of that, she has a better understanding (than most dems) of the truly frightening and increasingly dangerous anti-semitism we are witnessing globally.
She NOW sees that 90% of this dangerous anti-semitism is coming from her party– the left — the Biden Administration (e,g, anti-islamophobia policies), college campuses, etc.
She was outraged to learn that only 9 House Democrats voted to censure the Squad for their blatantly anti-Jewish rhetoric. She’s now determined to “primary out” her Dem rep who voted not to censure the Squad.
The reality of WHO the left/Dems have become in 2023 is difficult for most Dem voters to grasp and accept. She’s not fully there yet but she does finally SEE reality. The Dem party of JFK is nothing like the Dem party of today.
IMO, the Jewish constituency/vote should be rigorously pursued by Trump and Rs in 2024.
We might say… “yah, you’re a traditional Dem liberal and consistently vote Dem in every election but it IS Trump and conservative Christians defending Israel with the strongest, clearest voices… so in 2024– JUST 2024– vote for Trump and an R Congress because dangerous, violent anti-semitism is clearly on the rise, globally, and its coming from the Left/Dems, not the right/Rs. LOOK at what’s happening in the State Dept– a substantial group of bureacrats are openly attacking Biden for his defense — ANY defense of Israel. WHO are these bureacrats? Who is hiring them? Having said that, I am not someone who believes that the Jews are 1oo% the innocent victims of history… and never do anything that causes animosity toward them. They do. I think, though, that the root cause of historical anti-semitism against the Jews … is … envy and jealousy. “Though shalt not covet thy neighbors goods” is a Commandment for a reason. As frequent outcasts, Jews, throughout history, start their own businesses or go into lucrative fields of business and, as a small race/people, they have consistently done very well. Human nature being what it is … causes … others to resent Hewish successes/prosperity. So, IMO, the primary cause of historical anti-semitism … is envy and jealousy. That is also what fuels historical pushes toward marxism/socialism/communism too — envy.
Years ago, I read an account, written by a Jewish historian, who listed all the persecutions of Jews by Christians in history, primarily committed by Catholic Christendom.
While reading his list, I was surprised to see how FEW persecutions he cited. Often, there were long gaps in time between persecutions.
One amusing example of persecution/discrimination against Jews that this historian (a rabbi I believe) cited was some Pope who wrote an edict that Jews were forbidden to own Chistians as slaves. Interesting. I researched the edict and discoverd the REASON for the edict. The reason was that Jewish masters were consistently forbidding their Christian slaves to practice their Christian faith.
That was the one example of Christian discrimination against Jews this Jewish historian could find/create over a 75-100 year period.
In addition, the fact there were enough Jews owning Christian slaves to even warrant this edict proves Jews were not being discriminated against in general (at that time) b/c they were wealthy/personally successful enough TO own slaves.
Of course, there is no question that Jews have been uniquely and 80%+/-unjustly targeted over the centuries. Still, that was a pretty frivolous, even outrageous, example of alleged persecution of Jews, offered by a Jewish historian.
Another example: after 9/11, I studying how Islam managed to swiftly conquer the Middle East, North Africa and Christian Spain.
Muslims conquered Spain in the 700s and remained in control for several centuries until the Catholic Spanish finally defeated them; Grenada was the last battle… after which began the infamous… Spanish Inquition.
I was shocked to learn that the Spanish focused first on extricating the Jews from Spain instead of the remaining Muslims. Why- they were slaves of the Moslems along with us?
The answer is … that the Jews constantly blamed the Christians for anything and everything that happened. Why? To save themselves. I don’t blame the Spanish Jews for doing that. No doubt the Catholic slaves did the same thing. Both were trying to make themselves indispensable to their Muslim masters in order … to survive, literally. And, part of that was likely pointing the finger at the other guy, hoping they would become the target and not your people.
When the Catholics finally reconquered Spain, they had become a formidable, very tough fighting force, toughened by many years of oppression, tyranny, survival and war. The Spanish Catholics sought to extricate the Jews first because, IMO, they were the most angry and bitter toward Jews.
The Spanish Inquition was certainly brutal but the focus was on forcing people to admit they were NOT catholics/christians… so they could be deported. Plenty of people just lied to remain in the country and the Spanish wanted EVERYONE who was not really a Catholic out of Spain. This was Spain’s “never again.”
And, the next few generations in Spanish history involved Columbus discovering America and the Spanish expanding their influence and control over other areas in the West– the “Spanish Conquistadors”, Isabella & Ferdinand, etc.
The Spanish were also angry with other Catholics — the French, Germans, the pope, etc. No crusaders were sent to save/free the Spanish Catholics from their Muslim conquerers. Many, most Catholic Cathedrals in Spain were converted to Mosques. The remnants of some remain today.
Anyway… the Spanish Inquisition finally made sense to me where it hadn’t before.
By comparison, what we/colonialists endured at the hands of the Brits — the cause of our American Revolution– was nothing compared to what the Spanish endured (both Catholics and Jews), for 100s of years, under Muslim occupation.
BTW, during the Spanish Inquisition, the pope did chastise the Spanish Catholics and tried to stop that brutal inquisition multiple times. The Spanish Catholics totally ignored him. Not surprising b/c no Christian Crusaders were sent to save the Spanish Christians. The Spanish saved themselves with no/little help from the rest
of Christendom.
I pray that our world is not progressing toward another global war although it spears we are. Likely the ONLY person who can stop this train … is Trump, and I’m not even sure he can. Today is increassingly reminiscent of the 1930s, not as bad … yet … because there is stronger push-back this time… but not necessarily enough.

Love it! Many states need it, MI is a start.
I believe what Sundance is saying, and we are going to have to be engaged personally ourselves with what he outlines for us to do. He may write about it, but he’s going to need help implementing it, and that may be us.
We need to make the effort to decide how WE can, in Our area, with our expertise, and contacts influence those around us who do not understand.
That takes skill at social awareness of how others see things, and learning what avenues you can move in to strike that peculiar point that will open them up to being more directly approached.
I am not particularly skilled at that. I sometimes am successful, but do not have clear understanding of how it works.
Suggestion – help spread the truth beyond your circle of life. It doesn’t have to be conversations, but can be things like posters at high volume locations, leaflets left on store shelves, posters of QR codes to websites (hides the message as it were so it isn’t torn down), letters to the editor if there is a local paper, call ins to radio shows or podcasts, comments on high traffic websites not associated with partisan discussions (health, business, etc).
Simple, concise information presented in a way to slip past people’s bias filters and make their brain cells take notice – raising questions in their own mind.
If it’s discussions, something as simple as talking about how bad inflation is due to all the government spending or asking if they saw where the couple was killed by an illegal alien can be nudges without partisanship to get past the filters.
In regards to the aspect Sundance raised – you can try to educate your congressional rep and/or their staff via letters, email, visits to their local offices, town hall meetings, etc..
Just some ideas on what any of us could doesn’t require above average skills.
Living in a bubble behind enemy lines in blueMA, I also use inflation as a topic, engaging every stranger at the supermarket who is gobsmacked at the prices.
And I find that no-nothing older Dims (my age) on the ground are often former hippies who were intensely anti-war. Remind them of that when it comes to Ukraine and the see eye ay (which killed the favorite president of their youth), plus endless forever wars elsewhere that do nothing but feed the war machine.
It’s good to have a short elevator speech about why America First is not America Isolated. PDJT practices tradefare – not warfare.
I agree we are a very informed bunch here at the Treehouse. I see very intelligent people on Twitter and Telegram who have “figured it all out” and give their statement of what is/was happening. The thing is, Sundance said the same thing, or better, YEARS AGO. We ARE definitely ahead of your average fact checker and investigator!!
I am also seeing the awakening in the comment sections of “The New York Post,” YouTube, many others.
Sundance, I believe the video podcast is a much-needed tool to help us help you on OUR mission. I constantly tell people in my life about this site. And honestly the information can be overwhelming. I often have to reread articles a few times to understand the material. It takes effort. And I believe a new person to this site would have to dedicate months or years to catch up. A video podcast may help a new person get up to speed faster. Maybe your first podcast can be longer, and cover things at the 30,000 foot level. It needs to be a shock an awe experience that will educate and hopefully motivate everyone to action. God bless you for what you do. And thank you for the red pill!

Perhaps a dumbed-down podcast for those you speak of while we watch the hard core.
Continual self-education is a great thing….but if the ignorant are not brought along somehow, we are going to be in a world of hurt.
I think we’re on the same page here. If not we’re at least is the same part of the chapter in this book.
People have different learning styles aside from whatever their intelligence is. Some retain and process the printed word the best, some do better with visuals, some with spoken word.
It is more in the digesting of what one reads that is a lost art.
Agree; and was just thinking even simple explainers with examples of how lawfare is used and works will be an eye-opener for many people. Of all the people who understand what’s going on, Sundance’s gift of explaining things so it cuts to the heart of the matter is so needed right now; what Rush Limbaugh was able to do with spoken words, Sundance’s gift has been with the written word, and suspect he has more than just that one gift in his quiver!

Rather than a podcast, quick shocking presentations may be the better way to attack this. Assume 12 year reading skills but 20 year old gaming skills and you might just find your audience.
As Dave Chepelle said/quoted Trump from the Hillary debate, “I know the system is currupt because I use it.”
So far, Trump is the only person with both the desire AND the financial ability to push. He is the ONLY billionaire who has actively stepped into the ring.
Many many people have the desire (Kari Lake, etc), but not one other financially independent person has stepped up to carry the baton.
Yes yes I know, we can all be our grains of sand and we can act local, but it would be quite helpful if there was a billionaire to step up for a national push.

You have won the admiration and respect of those of us who follow you daily. It is well-deserved. I stand in awe of what you produce.
I have some small measure of understanding of what it takes to run a website. I once ran a Facebook page for six years when I was an elected official in my town. The page became my baby. I felt the need to inform the towns people of all documentation that I received as a board member. The FB page took over my life because of the sense of responsibility I felt for educating the people. It did, however, do some damage to my relationship with my daughter who felt I wasn’t focusing enough on her family. Please consider what effect an additional job will have on your family relationships.
I think many people would enjoy a podcast for it would allow them to multitask with jobs that do not require too much thinking.
Recently, I was diagnosed with sepsis. Now I didn’t really know what sepsis was, but I KNEW it was BAD. Sepsis had me “near death” bad.
I bring this up only because, in order to educate more people, you need to reach more people. A podcast may very well do that. Perhaps only a small band of 300, like Gideon’s army, are needed to explain the micro details of a given topic. Perhaps the rest of us need only to understand things on a macro level so that, as a country, we know “this” or “that” is “bad. ” Then we individually can take action and not expect only a few people to “save” our country.
Sundance, please take MORE time off to feed your soul and spirit and to hear the “still small voice” of the Holy Spirit. If God is calling you in a new direction, you will want to have utter peace about it. We Treepers know that we are blessed beyond measure to have this resource. Perhaps it’s time for others to be made aware of CTH, too. I believe a podcast will do that.
May God richly bless you with all wisdom, discernment, health, wealth, comfort, joy and peace as you seek His face.

Time always seems to prove sundance correct on his analyses, predictions and other insightful contributions about the increasingly corrupt political and justice systems etc minus probably a few minor errors that prove he is a human. (Although I can’t think of any now. Only the times he was right)
I suspect others here were also considered foolish to many people if we encountered the “conventional” wisdom and disagreed with a person on several issues like “Russia Collusion” and numerous other lies about P Trump and his supporters etc. I learned the truth about most controversial issues at CTH (and Steyn) .
It seems rational to me to continue following a news, opinion and education source when it is proven right (CTH) but it is mind boggling that millions of people are so inculcated by their emotionally charged, incomplete mind sets that they continue to follow proven liars and charlatans like MSNBC, Facebook, TicToc et al when years pf their reporting is proven to be false dirty trick politics. Truth is not important to them. I also like the willingness to add a good dose of Christianity to the site. Thanks to CTH sundance, Ad rem, Menagerie etc.
Here is a “tough” question to answer. Is it possible that these 2 UK police officers read and support CTH as I know a few Brits do visit this site:

This kind of reminds me of Roman Catholic history during the late 15th to 16th century. The popes and the Vatican bureaucracy were extremely corrupt, epitomized during the Alexander VI papacy. This eventually led to the Counter Reformation during the late 1500s when they gradually started to clean their act up and continued into the 1600s. How did they do this? When a corrupt bureaucrat left his position either by death or something else, it was an opportunity to replace that individual with a morally good one. Sometimes it was a success, sometimes it wasn’t until finally alot of the filth at that time was replaced with good people. This is but 1 example of their history. Corruption also occurred during the 600s-700s ad, 1100s ad and so on. It gave an opportunity for great people to rise up like St Benedict of Nurcia or St Francis of Assisi or St Catherine of Siena or St Teresa of Avila . (Some may say the CC is going through another corrupted period right now. And who will rise up?)
Moral of the story —- these are the times for people to show their mettle and place a leash on the filth for a while with God’s help.

This post has weighed on me all day, I can’t begin to imagine how it feels for SD. I rely so heavily on this site. I have to believe somehow, someway we can prevail. Please God give us all wisdom and courage. And perseverance.
Sundance, your work here at CTH is priceless. Yesterday I decided to re read a book by Dr John Coleman the committee of 300. It’s overwhelming information and if true we need to talk about it with anyone and everyone who will listen. These people have been planning the destruction of our beautiful USA for decades. Nationalism/Patriotism is their enemy and worst nightmare. Take care All.

Do you not remember him imploring President Trump to remove Ronna Mcdaniel, and replace her with Catherine Engelbrecht in 2020, which might have stopped the steal. Would Sundance have appointed Chris Wray, or Bill Barr? Wasn’t Rick Grinnell Director of National Intelligence when the covid scam erupted? Wasn’t Kash Patel his deputy? Was just telling the wifey that we conservatives are very good at words, reason, and intellectual virtue — but what we really need are actions, passionate engagement, and physical virtue (risk, courage, organization e.g. civil disobedience, national strikes, “Irish Democracy” et. al.).
I know that’s outside your bailiwick (and virtually everybody else NOT NAMED TRUMP), and I’m disappointed that President Trump hasn’t built an action-oriented organization to mentor & develop future Trumps, unite the clans (all the patriot groups and strays) into a monolithic force of tens of (if not a hundred) millions that could be used for directed action to shut down the country or whatever other targets (e.g. destroy Disney, destroy the universities & other public education, destroy all anti-American institutions).
Anywho, not much you can do about that unless you have — or can procure access to — the ear of President Trump.

A long time ago in a mid size county, in anystate, a man ran for sheriff and won. He was good at his job and knew there was wall to wall corruption.
He immediately went about sorting the mess, only to be visited his second week in office by the county cartel. He was told, you only clean up what we want you to clean. You either understand what your job is or you won’t make it to the end of your first term.
He understood.
This garbage going down in the house with the budget and the new Wonderboy from LA, is just a repeat we have seen a thousand times. Doesn’t matter who gets in, or the intent. The negotiation for decent change never comes to fruition.

The narrative needs to shift- people need to be asked what will they DO when they can’t vote their way out of this nightmare in 2024 because it’s rigged. At this point I’ll be surprised if there’s even an election next year, but people have to stop taking the pacifist approach to our government and we have a year to start changing that mindset.

Human rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali announced Saturday she has abandoned 20 years of atheism to become a Christian as “Western civilisation is under threat” from a multitude of forces that seek its destruction.

The research fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution wrote of being born into a Muslim family and then the years that followed as a religious activist driving “Islamism” saying, “I learned from my years with the Muslim Brotherhood was the power of a unifying story, embedded in the foundational texts of Islam, to attract, engage and mobilise the Muslim masses. Unless we offer something as meaningful, I fear the erosion of our civilisation will continue.”
