Wife and I have voted for him multiple times, but I never wanted him to run for POTUS in ’24. REALLY wish he had sat this one out and supported Trump.

He did it to himself by viciously turning on Trump and his millions of supporters for political gain. If he had waited 4 or 5 years, he might have fooled enough voters to support him but that kind of intense acting is draining and it is difficult to hide it from insightful people like sundance and most MAGA voters.

I’m sure he will attend the rally. He knows his future as senator is at stake. He was so-so as Governor and he has been a disappointment to me as Senator. However, he would be better than McConnell as minority or majority leader. I would prefer Rand Paul or someone like JD Vance as Senate leader.
Any senator willing to support Trump is a big deal. The RINO senate is not exactly inclined in that way.

I disagree. DeSantis is a fantastic leader. Only one reason to oppose his bid for presidency. He is doing a spectacular job in the state of FL, and I would hate to lose him here. But if Trump is sabotaged by the Dems and doesn’t run, who will you vote for? Trashing all of his opponents is self-defeating.
Trashing his unworthy opponents is entirely appropriate.
Should, Heaven forbid, our Champion not be on that stage at that day, all who have stood against him are automatically and eternally disqualified to take his place.

The GOP challengers still in the race are there for some other reason than winning. They are either there out of pure TDS, to sponge up donor cash or to elevate their own profiles for future races or books or gigs.
