I spent a lot of time thinking about this after I left Canada in 2020.
My conclusion – the real fight for liberty and Western culture is happening in America. The population in Canada is too far gone. The few holdouts are spread too thin to make a meaningful difference.
This hurts to say because I love these people. I lived in both urban and rural Canada: the cities are gone, and have been for some time. The real Canadian lives in low pop density areas. The best people on the planet. Especially in western Canada.
They have zero pull politically. Completely unrepresented. These are the people who built the country. Being bled dry financially until they are dependent on the government that wants to kill them.
They have one remaining course of action and it involves things I can’t say publicly. That’s how bad it is, but reality hasn’t quite hit them yet.
So, Canadians should leave if they can. It’s difficult, but not impossible.
Not only are your taxes funding your own destruction, withdrawing your capital is an effective way to hurt the hostile regime.
If Canadians are able and want to be involved in the Fight of our age- I would move to America. Otherwise move to a LatAm country where you can structure your affairs to live tax free legally, shore up your wealth and support the fight in America online or behind the scenes.
If America falls, the West is over.
Americans should stay – relocate within the country. Unless they are a visible political target and have families that are in danger.
You may feel an attachment to your country, but history is replete with instances of people fleeing persecution from their homelands – my own ancestors fled France to South Africa in the 1680s. So did the Pilgrims who settled Christian America around the same time.
These things happen – and we are in that cycle now.
Those who have no choice but to stay should relocate to rural areas and form strong communities.

I have a BIL who was born in the states, travelled to Canada and found his wife in British Columbia. He’s an even-tempered sort but, along with her, a raging lib. Since both retired they have taken up residence in St. Maarten, having to travel back to Canada several times a year to take care of the house, and all I hear about it how hard Canada makes it for ex-pats. If left up to me and I was single I would have sold our properties ( all but one) and moved on from our place of true beauty on Canada’s west coast.
We are in our mid sixties now, and our grandchildren are infants and will benefit from having us around.
Our adult sons are really in no position to move countries.
We will stay and fight..at truckers rally’s we attended the spirit was immense, and that has only grown.

We know of several neighbours that are planning to or have moved back to their native central or east European homes.
This is an American based site, and would not wish to offend any American.

We’ve had many friends move from ontario after the trucker convoy to Dominican republic, Florida and of course Alberta. As a veteran I have lived in many provinces, all beautiful! I think the professionals at your County Clerks Office will automatically remove the extra vote if there is one. Likely, your mail-in ballot was lost in the mail. In Texas going to Amarillo on I27 around Lubbock and north you see hundreds of 300ft high wind turbines. Someone who is a billionaire has made a ton of cash selling wind to politicians who I am 1000% positive were wined and dined and had some “perks”.
Great sector for wind but as usual its all in the execution. When you see inactive turbines next to active ones then it becomes a matter of repair and maintenance. Trying to repair or maintain something 300ft off the ground that is 200ft long and probably at least 50 tons in weight either requires a huge crane or a helicopter or both. High costs all around. Then there is the Texas sized wind turbine junk yard we drove by.
Every year utility costs go up in Texas. Low gasoline prices does not save Texans from higher utility prices. I have no idea how a senior citizen survives just on Social Security payments. Electricity or cat food?

As a EVP real estate (RE) banker for 42 years at Chase Manhattan Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and several other banks, I can assure you that a banks mostly make a loan in two ways:
If it’s a secured real estate bank loan, the bank must have an independent 3 party appraisal to determine the value of the property. The bank loan IS based on this appraised valuation, NOT what the developer says. It doesn’t really matter to the bank what the financial statement from the developer shows.
Long term estimates of RE value go up and down, developers do not appraise all assets every time they borrow money. Sometimes they show the historic value which might have gone down but will also likely go back up. The developer’s balance sheet often showed what they think the properties are valued at, but it makes no difference when the bank makes the loan. It’s based on the bank’s independent appraisal, period!
If the bank makes an unsecured loan, the cash flow from the various properties must be confirmed, it doesn’t matter what the developer’s financial statement shows, banks need demonstrated proof of the cash flow for an unsecured loan.
There cannot be fraud based on an optimistic developer showing what they believe the property value consists of, banks MUST do their own 3 party appraisals and evaluations.

This is the wrong argument. The state has a duty to step in if they suspect fraud, but they have to present the evidence to a jury. What happened here is the findings of the AG were presented to the court, which treated it as incontrovertible evidence and ruled against Trump without a finding of fact, without a defense by Trump, and without a deliberation by a jury. Whether or not the properties were valued properly is completely irrelevant. It’s the total corruption of the judicial system that is the issue.
It’s a natural result of the introduction of ‘Participation Trophies’ several decades ago.

From my very limited POV, most people I know support RFK not as a substitute for DJT but as a PLAN B candidate and they are quite enthusiastic about supporting RFK from that perspective. But that is a very limited circle, so who knows what the real independents / swing voters are thinking ?
