I’m actually unsure. He allegedly said this when he was at a rally on the evening of the 25th and I’ve seen a mention somewhere on Twitter that he said he’d return within five months.
I was hoping someone here would know more about this …. or even if they could verify hearing this.

I quickly examined a transcript of his speech at the South Carolina rally, and nowhere did he mention FIVE MONTHS.
He did mention that it’s only four months until February 24th.

Authorities in Baltimore City, plagued with out-of-control crime, “initially withheld details” from the public that a convicted felon raped and set fire to a person last week. For some reason, officials felt the need to leave out the “rape” part of the crime – just calling it an “arson.” The felon went on to murder a young tech CEO on Monday. Adding to the disgust, officials freed the man last fall, having served only seven years of a 30-year sentence.
Local media outlet Baltimore Banner said registered sex offender Jason Billingsley,32, kicked down the door of a home last Tuesday in West Baltimore and “pointed a gun at two people inside, then handcuffed and duct-taped them.”
A source told the media outlet, “Authorities believe Billingsley raped the woman and cut her neck. He doused her and the man with some liquid, then set them on fire. The couple survived and were hospitalized along with a child in the house.”
Police then issued a warrant for Billingsley’s arrest last week but left out one very critical piece of information. They initially called the crime an “arson,” leaving out “rape.”
Why officials in the crime-ridden city would ever do that is beyond comprehension.

I am on a telephone town hall with my congressman, Nathaniel Moran, right now. Rep Chip Roy is on the call too. They say that we are almost certainly heading for a shutdown. This makes me happy because I called Rep Moran’s office today and stated again that I wanted the aid to Ukraine to stop. I also expressed my willingness to have a budget shutdown.

Moran and Roy are very aware of military families who live paycheck to paycheck. They said that tomorrow is federal payday. The next federal payday is October 13th. There will need to be a little time to calculate payroll so that checks go out on time on the 13th. They think that they can play hardball against Schumer and win without disrupting the household revenue flow.
The Republicans do not want a continuing resolution. That would be continuing Nanzi’s spending package. They are trying to push through a temporary spending bill (30 to 45 days) that cuts the amount of discretionary spending by about 8% or so. They are trying for actual cuts, not simply cuts in programmed increases in spending.
I was on a telephone townhall call with Ted Budd of NC last night. I was shocked that the many questions asked of him were personal questions, not relative to some of the more pressing questions which needed to be asked. So many really don’t know what is going on in this country except for how it affects them on a personal level.
