Politico writes a vast majority of stories from a slanted perspective; however, on the aspect of DeSantis influence in Florida disappearing, they are correct. One is the loneliest number.
Republicans in the sunshine state are ambivalent about the governor returning, after a disgraced and failed presidential effort. Quite frankly, DeSantis is an irrelevant gnat now, and he has three years left in his term as Florida governor.
This isn’t a surprise; it was easily predicted over a year ago when we first discussed the ruse of the Florida election. We knew DeSantis was going to run. We knew he was going to fail miserably; and we knew he would return to Florida a broken politician with no political currency.
The DeSantis operation was built on fraud, and the Florida policy successes were factually constructed (Rovian network) as groundwork for his presidential ambitions – not the Florida voters.
FLORIDA – TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is losing his clout in Florida.
College boards, stacked with DeSantis appointees, are rejecting job candidates with ties to the governor.
The chair of the Republican Party of Florida urged executive committee members to attend all GOP candidate events — giving cover to party faithful who want to attend a dinner at Mar-a-Lago with former President Donald Trump.
And the board that oversees many of Florida’s affordable housing programs this month placed on leave its executive director, who was helped into the job by a top DeSantis adviser.
Interviews with nearly two dozen lobbyists, political consultants and lawmakers revealed that DeSantis’ struggles as a presidential candidate have already eroded his influence in Florida. There is a widespread expectation that his candidacy will end in failure. His standing at home may depend on how long he slogs forward in the presidential campaign — and how he will manage his exit from the race if he eventually drops out.
Now, it may be just a matter of time before Florida Republicans, once unflinchingly loyal, seek distance from DeSantis and his hardball governing methods.
“You don’t get the assumption they are measuring drapes anymore — they are waiting for him to drop out,” one long-time Republican consultant in Tallahassee said of those working for the governor. (read more)
Ron’s ego won’t be able to cope with the failure. Casey will be salt in the wound. The state legislature is already back to the pre-Ron era, and the toxic pressure his team exhausted in order to bully the state is going to come back like an 800lb boomerang.
The establishment and globalist donors will be looking for their next victim. DeSantis destroyed his career listening to them and they couldn’t care less. He was only a tool, to be discarded when he broke. Next up, they’ll try to convince Youngkin to get into the race. He should be smart enough to pass after seeing what happened to DeSantis. Youngkin can do what DeSantis should have done. Wait and to see if the globalist cabal can take Trump out of the running. If that happens, Youngkin could get Trump’s supporters. DeSantis ruined his chance. If Trump gets taken out, Trump supporters won’t vote for DeSantis.
Youngkin specifically said he wouldn’t run unless Trump’s campaign craters and he becomes unviable
DeSantis — who I thought might have been a good candidate in 2028 is now toast. If Younkin is smart, he won’t let the destroyers talk him into anything. Is Karl Rove preparing the way for a Geo. P. Bush run in 2028?
Naaaaaaa it’s Niki Haley they are going to get behind
She’s Mike Pence in a dress!
Any credibility Karl Rove had was destroyed with the Ken Paxton victory in Texas. Rove is also toast!
Goodness knows pols are honest.
Rove is a bloated bullfrog and he’s another worthless and narcissistic big mouth.
We do not need someone coming on here pitching Youngkin.
We will not vote for him.
Trump supporters will voteTrump or write in Trump.
Anyone else in the Republican Party is dead.
We will kill the Republican Party as it’s known today.
Do not put your wild imaginings on here.
That’s my plan as well…write Trumps name in, and as Parker McCollum sings:
Absolutely!!
Same here, this Trump supporter will only vote Trump!
No cabal ‘selected’ candidate for me.
It’s Trump or bust!
Bust up the Republican Party once and for all!
Couldn’t have said it more clearly than you did! A million thanks.
GOOOOOOOD WARNING TO ..KENNETH FELTON
BIG AMEN to THAT!!!
Sweater vests. Must be a clue!
If Trump is gone, all future elections and freedoms are gone because the people will scatter.
Scatter? To where?
I’m thinking Italy. ai
Mexico? They’re pro-oil.
Certain eastern bloc nations, where a man is still a man and a woman is still a woman, and God is still on His throne.
You can still find it in the SOUTH AMERICA…
Serbia or Hungary, perhaps my Orthodox Christian people in Russia. If USA is gone, I pray for PDJT, then a huge shift all around the globe, we in Canada are first to be toast. Sweet Jesus, please come.
Hungary.
🇵🇱 Poland
Not sure “scatter” is the correct word. It implies that we are indeed listless vessels. President Trump represents the longing of a hundred million Americans to matter, be belong, to be loved by a Nation that treats us with disdain.
No, we won’t scatter. There is hell to be paid.
Raise hell and put a prop under under it.
I respectfully disagree. I don’t think the people will scatter. I think there will be some hot heads who “burn it all down and lynch the so called officials” and there will be others (my camp) who will plot subterfuge and push for reform.
There are many types of people in this world; some will be frightened like rabbits and cower in terror (i.e., submit to the jabs and do what they are told) and others will stoke the cold anger, throw sand in the levers of control and fight back at every opportunity.
At 76, I don’t have much to lose.
I have faith in the Strengths of We, the people to restore our freedoms and rights! FAITH
I can’t see myself supporting Youngkin. He doesn’t have enough experience. I know that Reagan and Trump didn’t either, but people like that only rarely come along.
Youngkin is UniParty.
Youngkin is Uniparty for sure. I’m not even sure that he doesn’t hold the MAGA corps in DEEP contempt.
True that! Virginia History is being destroyed and he’s “not my table hon.”
Youngkin = The Carlyle Group a multinational private equity, alternative asset management and financial services corporation.
Carlyle = Bush Mafia
I hope you know the difference between a private equity firm and firms that manage assets and financial services. The Carlyle Group is a private equity firm. They are only private equity and yes, they are the largest such entity in the world. So Youngkin worked for them and therefore you are dismissive of him despite the fact that he is building a good record in Virginia so far.
I live in VA. I know what Youngkin is doing and not doing.
I am unclear on your question of “do I know the difference?” I clearly stated Carlyle is private equity.
Are you denying the close relationship between Carlyle and the bush machine?
I am dismissive of him because he is another Ivy League RINO. He will work for Bankers and betray the rest of the nation, as the bushes did.
Wasn’t President Reagan governor of California? Wasn’t President Trump a very accomplished businessman? Or did I miss something?
Youngkin is a fratboy goober inbred who lusts for his Young Kin.
Youngkin is a businessman and therefore smart. Failed lawyers are stage actors to be used and discarded. I am a Trump guy, but would warily steer toward Youngkin depending on Con Inc.
Note, anyone who is “smart enough” to wait in the wings for DJT to fail before entering the race is part of the cabal. Bottom line, you are either for or against DJT/MAGA. Very simple. This uncommitted middle ground be the alternative waffling is where the uni-party/globalist money feeding trough operates.
Seriously. That’s like saying , to use an American football analogy, that we’ll only field our practice squad against the Champ but use the starters against the next doormat team. Anyone who says Ronald DeSantis should have waited shows a complete lack of understanding the MAGA movement. Ronald DeSantis, Glen Youngkin, et al are owned politicians and not suitable to lead our nation.
“Seriously” you should reread my comment with a little more comprehension. If you are going to run for something you just do it with none of the parsing BS back room planning with none of the if this or that strategies that all the paid off uni-party employees do. That implies all the every POTUS candidate (GOP or Dem) currently or considering running against DJT.
Moreover….Florida voters should chastise Desantis for his stabbing Trump in the back and not give him another term…especially since he wasn’t interested in finishing his first term anyways…actually got the law changedvthere so he could run…and lose! He’s gonna have plenty to do anyways…..he’s hot a marriage to salvage cause his wife was already First Lady in her mind….and he’s to blame that she will never be that now!
I don’t feel sorry for him.
“Youngkin could get Trump’s supporters”
Lol. You must be new here.
Youngkin is a RINO and former executive with the Carylyle Group. No, he isn’t an alternative.
Would you prefer our next candidate to be a coal miner from W. Va?
Youngkin, if smart, will stay in Virginia and hopefully make Virginia “red” again. I doubt there is much hope for Loudon Cty since so many government workers reside there. Nevertheless, he has put together a good team and he has made some positive changes, particularly in education despite the fact that many of the school boards are still in a power struggle with his administration.
What do you have against coal miners? I don’t think they could foul things up any worse than the professional repub-cons have for the last 70 years.
You do not seem to understand the complete collapse in trust across institutions that is driving the rejection of: pence, DeSantis, Haley, bush, McConnel, etc, etc..
Cplogics is a troll.
It’s Trump or bust! Period.
Why isn’t he accessible to people? Sounds sort of tyrannical.
Just go say Hello to him, I think he’s accessible?
” Alone again….naturally “
we got a lot of music going on here……lol
DeSatan really puts the lame in lame duck.
For some reason, the entire, s it show wrapped in a dumpster fire, that is now the DeSanctimonious campaign brought this song to mind.
Pretty good. I prefer the Cream version, though.
I can’t be happy about this. He was a good governor for Florida and has done a lot of good things there and is still quite Young and if he had held the line on his principles, he would have been able to throw his head in the ring next election cycle.
What a waste.
I believe the establishment wanted to destroy his future chances as well as use him as an attack dog against President Trump.
Well, that’s the problem when you’re a career politician with no real money of your own – your principles are for sale.
The fact he sold out to the Bush crowd showed us he’s just another typical GOPe phony conservative. Good thing DeSantis exposed himself now. He will never be a presidential candidate ever again.
He didn’t sell out to the Bush crowd. He was raised and molded by them from the get-go. Being a turncoat is in his political dna.
Well all 3 of the above are accurate , I believe – Anybody that looked at his history of always jumping for the next available higher office could see he was an overly ambitious politician , always on the make and lookout to advance HIS career prospects – No sympathy that he got too close to the Sun and his fake waxen wings melted. Probably Next up will be a Casey and Ron cable news show audition …
Ummm, take a look at your Corrupt Beyond Meat Puppet in the Whitehouse.
He was disgraced in 1988 for plagiarism and his overall arrogance and ignorance as a Human.
Then, Big Mike’s chew toy, the Devil wannabe, Barrack, installed him in 2020.
Anything can happen when FILTHY Marxists are involved.
Indeed. Had he supported Trump in his time of need — particularly, had he (after receiving advance notice) surrounded Mar-A-Lago with State Troopers and National Guard to prevent the FBI raid (even at the slight risk of starting Civil War 2) — he’d have been a hero to, and inheritor of, the MAGA movement.
What was that great final line (from the Satan character portrayed by Pacino) in the film “The Devil’s Advocate”?
“Ah vanity … definitely my favorite sin.”
Favorite and very popular among the rinos.
For politicians – you could amend that line a bit – “Vanity … definitely my favorite flavor”
He wouldn’t even have had to go that far – BUT his bunker silence , then some very tepid generic comments a few days later – showed he probably KNEW IN ADVANCE that it or something was going down with respect to PDJT that would have a significant impact on launching his opening move to the nomination —But PDJT stole the march from him and CNN by announcing the Raid himself —-So it was downhill from there for an Exposed Ron …- IMHO
You just can’t fake authenticity. Not for long, anyway.
DeSoros flamed out very quickly, because there was no substance behind him that wasn’t poll-tested, pre-packaged and entirely manufactured by his ANTI-MAGA, big money donors.
Karl Rove is behind this. Bank on it.
Battered Conservative Syndrome. It almost seems incurable..
They used and abused him. He allowed it. I don’t feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for the collateral damage done to Floridians – extremely high auto insurance (2n in the nation), and extremely high homeowners insurance – if you can even get insured.
Spot on and thanks.
We are getting crushed on home owners.
I’m anxiously awaiting my car insurance bill which should be coming in any day now.
Not sure how much longer I can take this and I love it here.
All RDS had to do was say ‘I’d be honored to be PDJT’s VP’, and then very likely a two-term president. So why didn’t RDS do this? There is a LOT to that answer – all bad.
They had a “plan” and sold him on it ( that plus a lot of silver coin ) . But as Mike Tyson said: “ Everybody has a plan until they get hit in the mouth “ . PDJT delivered that “message”..
Let go of the myth that he was a good goveno and it all makes sense.
I can think of one prominent person that cannot let go of that myth.
DeSantis is proving he is your typical GOPe CONservative phony. Most of us should see now he wasn’t duped into running for president. He was and always has been part of the establishment, and gladly did their bidding. He was never on board with MAGA!
Now that his presidential campaign is in total freefall the GOPe has no use for him. Now he goes back to Florida with no political capital in the state and his future presidential hopes in ruins. The GOPe doesn’t want him and neither do we. Maybe Disney can offer Ron and Casey jobs when their time in the statehouse is over.
Yea, they can be the new Chip and Dale
I think it’s sad, really. If he had just been patient and a lot less arrogant he might’ ha dgood chance of being VP and then he could’ve taken the torch in 2028.
Except he exposed himself as GOPe so MAGA won’t have him. In any year.
Thank goodness we found out he was a fraud before that happened.
Piece by piece, day by day and topic by topic these “candidates “ destroy themselves. Tim Scott aced himself by saying something about firing the striking auto workers. Okay, Mr. Rocket Scientist where are you going to find proper replacements with skills to build any quality vehicles?
Ron! destroyed himself by getting elected governor for a second time and then 5 months later announcing he didn’t want the job after all. Ron! is done in Florida.
Seemed to me that Tim Scott was attempting to channel Ronald Reagan. Recall that Reagan fired 12,000 striking the air traffic controllers. He had every right to do so as their strike was illegal. The UAW strike is legal.
Times have changed quite a bit since Reagan. The Trump coalition includes the working man and does not include the people that run the corporations that are trying to destroy America.
He would have found them where they already are, in Chy-nah. gM already builds multiple brands there https://www.gm.com.cn/en/home.html
“Okay, Mr. Rocket Scientist where are you going to find proper replacements with skills to build any quality vehicles?”
Mr. From the Cotton Fields to the Halls of Congress will find them at the southern border.
The only good thing about DeSantis run was it exposed a few GOPe morons like Chip Roy and that guy from Steve Bannons Warrom. I hope Steve Bannon never lets him back on the show.
Steve Cortes. He’s a loser that belongs on Fox News with the other losers.
Steve Bannon fired traitor Cortes off The War Room podcast for supporting DeSantis.
Indeed, add Jason Chaffets (sp) and all hat no cattle can’t recall mr hair guy’s name all can be on Fox, have their three panel Talk Show. The three stooges. God Bless PDJT. Canada is in another deep dodoo with India, castro giving more money to Ukraine, and I have not seen so many homeless poor Canadians in tents, in neighborhoods no one could have imagined a few years back. I will be taking a few new blankets, coats, socks, hats and scarfs to give them out if they will accept them. I have last week taken some groceries to them, I was in tears, so thankful they were and the look in their eyes was enough to make a grown woman/man cry like a child. I can’t say what I would say, then do to these evil, corrupt scumbags we call politicians. Interesting our msm paid by castro never shows pictures videos of these poor souls. They too, know where they gather around the city, a swift kick in the ass to them as well. Lord Jesus please come.
Thank you for noticing Chip Roy is a pure RINO, he is our representative and we can’t wait for him to be gone. Its dang impossible to vote these RINOs out esp in Texas.
Is he getting primaried?
Chip Roy worst kind of “rhino”. Pretends like he’s going to fight for you while stabbing you in front, back, and credulity.
Roy does have a very conservative voting record. His Conservative Review Liberty Score is 100% or an “A” rating which is extremely rare in the Republican Party. But, he is not MAGA or America First. And is Never-Trump!
He screwed over his state for the sake of his ego
May he be cast into the dustbin of history.
My retired now doctor, told me years ago, any one that can’t achieve anything in real life goes into politics. How true those words are. A lawyer from our serbian community, a dumb ass, no brain cells became a judge very quickly, I asked his lovely wife why did he get the judgeship, her honest answer was, he is deep in the the Liberal Party campaigned for one big govno in our city and he promised him the position. I blame our community, the Italians and other foreign communities that believed in this loser, voted for the MP, crooked, loved his women and booze. Shame on them all. This so called judge, told his wife she should not be in our choir at church, so she dropped out. I know he was not pleased that his beautiful, lovely wife and I liked to go out for coffee, shopping, so gone she was, I was beneath the jerks they socialized with.
The usual greased pole of a state politicians’ ambition –seeking national office– is the best indicator of Deep State sponsorship.
The Feds are dead to us, or should be.
Conservative populism and MAGA realizes itself best at the state level. Subsidiarism is the way forward. Starve the Beast.
I keep getting emails from Sheriffs and Navy SEALS who want to ‘save us’ by running for the Senate. Sorry. That’s either serving their own ambitions or misreading the prevailing political winds that point to re-ascendant States Rights.
The US Senate is where MAGA goes to die. The goal should not be to win the Senate for MAGA (a near-impossible task given the money arrayed against us), but rather to render it obsolete.
Covid taught me that the way our Founding Fathers structured our government was always with the intention of keeping the federal level from having more power than the state level. There was a time when I viewed my state level Senators and Congressman as “lower level” officials trying to make it to “the big-time”. Now I have been reeducated about the 3 levels of government.
Unfortunately, the 17th Amendment screwed it up by allowing Senators to move to DC and forget they were supposed to be representing their state’s interest above all else. They sold it as giving the power “to the people” instead of to the state legislatures. Yeah, well, who elects the state legislatures?
Also now, who pays much attention to state legislatures?
So much slides under the radar as we focus on DC instead.
In many states your state senate and house are just the minor leagues. To a certain degree they can be more profitable with less visibility. It has become a wicked grift at both minor and major league levels.
No different than three letter clubs. Just another part in the production.
I’m mostly with you, coaster.
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union…”
Given the Constitution’s preamble and the states’ preexisting signatory authority (as well as the chronology of history itself) there’s no great argument that State sovereignty didn’t preclude the formation of the Federal government i.e. the states relinquished partial sovereignty in order to form a union which, with the requisite Consitutional amendment, they should be able to dissolve.
In short, the states signed the feds into existence, not vice-versa.
However the Magic Dollar Printing Press coupled with the enticement of Federal matching funds (predicated of course on states adopting Federally-sanctioned policies), seduced states away from their sovereign prerogatives.
The corrosive effects of King Dollar has been a disaster for all parties (except the bankers) both at home and abroad.
We need a great Devolution Movement back to the state level. That’s where our best statesmen and politicians need to be focussed.
National ambitions need to be viewed as traitorious. Period.
You should read about Kentucky’s hornswaggling politics preceding and during the Civil War. It makes one’s head swivel.
I am impressed how people on the right in this country have learned to suss out information. In spite of the fact that the media is entirely controlled by the left, or perhaps because of it, our fellow conservatives have become pretty good at smelling a rat. DeSantis’ campaign did not stand a chance once his prospective voters figured out who he was really representing irrespective of the resources at his command. He should have known better. Such a pity, he had so much promise
Usually the people on the Right were herded by Fox News and the Murdochs. In 2015/2016, it simply didn’t work against Trump’s skillset, who took on the platform of Buchanan, Perot, Paul and the wing of the party that hates endless wars, globalism, etc. In 2020, the Globalist Right helped the Commie Left get Trump out of power so they could try and retake control, but it has failed, despite their precious narrative engineering. People smell a rat, and the rat is dead.
The reality is the GOPe are stuck in their ways, were easy to figure out and outmaneuver. Very few Republican politicians know what they’re doing, and have to be led around by the hand, DeSaster included. They never wanted to get smart, they never wanted to win, they just wanted a seat at the table for a cut. In reality, they were always going to end up with nothing, Trump or no Trump.
The long and short of that is that the ‘Right’ needs to take over the Republican Party. Trump and MAGA is effectively running without a political party. Well, there is one, it is just that they are running against it. This severely dampens everything from fund raising to coverage in the MSM. The Republican party is so bad, they cannot even acknowledge mass voting fraud. Their funders will get angry.
I truly wish some people would stop saying glowing words about Desantis, such as “had great promise”. He was a rat from the begining,,, Research some of his congressional records. What did he really do for Florida? He was bad on covid and has done nothing to combat insane insurance and property tax rates.
He is a backstabbing, Casey tormented, overly ambitious GOPE whore. He has no character. He has no personality. He has no future in politics. He just needs to go away. Stop praising him.
Sundance had him pegged from the beginning. I rarely doubt Sundance.
This^^^^!!!
Being deeply flawed myself, I don’t get too hung up when a politician makes mistakes or compromises. It takes a certain skill set. That having been said, DeSantis failed at the only thing that really mattered. He failed to honestly represent his constituents. And this is at a time when the country really needed him and others like him. He sold out and it made him unforgivable. Worse, he did no atone for his perfidy. He thought the squid ink the MSM / Social Media ejected would cover up his tracks but we were not fooled even if he was.
I think he has a touch of autism.
He is socially awkward.
We have Sundance to thank for exposing the truth!
He has his faults but he pushed back on the Covidians during those months. As someone persecuted in Canada for declining the “shot” the freedoms that Floridians enjoyed gave me a place to feel hopeful for. He has human failings for sure but I won’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
If Ron D.had had true promise and discernment, he would have made different choices.
The absolute worst part of this for DeSantis is not failing in his presidential aspirations …. its the realization that President Trump is going to primary his ass outa existence Ron runs for governor again in 2026.
His political career ENDS in 2 1/2 years.
Isn’t he term limited anyway?
Yes he can’t run again for Governor. His current term ends January 2027.
Who knows he may drop out of the Presidential race and immediately announce he’s challenging Rick Scott for Senate. Maybe he’ll challenge Rubio in 2028 or maybe he’ll run for POTUS again in 2028.
He’d be well advised to practice law or try his hand at lobbying. Maybe be a stay at home dad and let Casey go back into television. I don’t think he will though, I think he’ll run for some other office.
A political analyst for Fox News comes to mind.
He’ll be wasting his time if he does. He stepped in it big time, and I don’t think there’s any coming back from it now.
YES HE SHOULD BE TERMINATED….
That is an insult to delicious bread and butter.
The toast should be burned, just like Meatball’s consultant campaign has become. All burned out.
De Santis should learn Cubano Spanish, do his job well, support Trump, keep the Blue Election cheating out of his State, and then after his tour of duty in the Gov’s mansion he might have built up enough good will to make a living.
Otherwise, se habra jodido…
DeSaster’s problem is he lost his political capitol by running for President and getting embarrassed. No one in the state of Florida is going to want to listen to a thing he says anymore. His clout is gone, his career is over and his ego will lash out.
Mrs Meatball will soon be tired of Tallahassee Walmarts and move on with the kids.
I sincerely hope not.
Mike Lindell says DeSantis cheated in the Miami-Dade area to win that big. I’m with Mike.
No, it was the single black mothers in Miami – Dade that were pro – school choice that put Soy Boy RD over the top. Dan Bongino said so. <sarc>
Many frauds have been perpetrated on the U.S., many have made their way into the WH, (Present cirumstances especially). It’s to Trump’s great strengths that he’s outlived Desantis.
Burnt Meatball just got incinerated!
And sucked into the Trump quicksand.
Buh bye! See ya, wouldn’t wanna be ya!
On deck – Paging CCP Kemp!
Hmm. Kemp has been rather quiet lately…
He needs quiet and concentration while he’s counting his receipts for his election fraud. One million one, one million two….
Ever since that closed door meeting he and Meatball had a few weeks ago that Sundance mentioned.
Hmm 🤔, indeed!
“…. however, on the aspect of DeSantis influence in Florida disappearing, they are correct. One is the loneliest number.“
It’s just no good anymore since you went away
Now I spend my time just making rhymes of yesterday
Good song from a great group.
On the other hand, One is a ”hole” number and he is in a hole now.
I absolutely agree with “Chooseamerica”. Should the left succeed in convicting and incarcerating Trump, or removing him from the ballot in some states next year, his supporters will rise up and wage a scorched earth campaign against any possible rivals. They will vote for him where they can, and write him in as their choice where they can’t. The B.S. must stop, and short of civil war, only Trump is strong enough to do it. After what happened to him in his first term, he will choose his Cabinet much more carefully. He also will use the power to pardon and the power to punish more frequently. This is a fight he, and WE can’t lose.
I would like to say (and I have) that the demise of the DeSantis’s campaign is no small part because of the light Sundance shed on DeSantis. I still believe there’s truth to this but I don’t think the rate of fail is owed entirely to Sundance’s work (no disrespect at all!).
We are still a fringe group. What we are seeing is a MASSIVE rejection of DeSantis. Is it that they are seeing the same things we see? Some, probably. But for the rest, I think they are seeing a LAME assed RINO in the man and the RINO politics have really pissed off and annoyed the masses.
The people want Trump and no substitutes. I think the RNC has decided to come to terms with this. If there’s one USEFUL thing the RINO swamp can be counted on to do, that is to LOSE and to lose easily. I could be wrong but I feel like the keeping Trump off the ballot idea is already withered.
And on an aside… I haven’t heard anything great about Vivek Ramaswamy lately. Hrm…I’m thinking that plan B or C isn’t working out either.
Slick Vik Obamaswamy is a fraud.
“We knew he [DeSantis] was going to fail miserably; and we knew he would return to Florida a broken politician with no political currency.”
Indeed. Scott Walker Redux: 8 Years Hence.
The Trump Curse: It’s Real … And It’s Spectacular.
Does DeSantis have a scar around his neck and on hid left side chin?
Do you think he was lynched?
Curious about that ring on his neck. Wrinkle? If not, then what? He has secrets! Personal and professional.
Evidence of a tectonic shift in the political sphere? Ken Paxton’s successful demolition of the Bush-backed, Karl Rove strategized, impeachment-by-innuendo kerfuffle, in Austin, Texas. (Paxton, himself, lays this incident in Rove’s lap.) And now this, in Florida (JEB! country). The Bush-era, if not over, is showing significant signs of distress.
Leaving McConnell as the sickly, aging and incapacitated figurehead of the main stream Never-Trump minions.
Whoever it is advising Trump (My guess is Kushner?) is a political genius!
DPJT jettisoned Jarvanka a while ago, they are not part of the campaign anymore.
IMHO – Heavy D’s only chance at redemption is to drop out of the race and heartily endorse Trump and work honestly for his election.
and you know the fkkking Democrats are waiting in the wings with saliva drooling down their chins. Florida and Texas are the big casino prizes while he was out screwing around trying to be something he’s not, they already got Jacksonville.
Meatball’s window for saving any political capital he has left is closing fast. Next week he needs to withdraw from the Presidential campaign, tell Floridians he loves Florida and its people, put his full support behind President Trump, go into Meatball Mansion and eat his plate of crow, finish his term as governor, and try to just be a good human being.
his opportunity was after the hurricane — now it looks like defeat.
DeSantis had high hopes but the Uniparty plan was to kill off any heir to MAGA after Trump. By letting RINOinc talk him into running against Trump, Ron displayed that he wasn’t up to the job.
What are the chances that the Lincoln Project set DeSantis up for this run in order to neutralize his power until 2026?
Who knows but if true we dodged a massive bullet. Obviously Meatball is dumber than dirt. Hard to imagine someone misreading the room as badly as Meatball did. He would have been a colossal failure if he managed to fraud his way into the White House.
You just know there’s some dweeb staffer even today telling Meatball “Trump’s going down any day now…just wait him out.” 😂
DeSantis should wait until 2028 Then I will vote for him But now I won’t vote for him anytime,
After he has shown an alliance with neocons and forever wars, after he was able to be enticed by money from globalists, after he has hurt people in Florida (insurance and electric rate hikes, retirement fund mis-allocation), after he slyly lied to voters in Florida that he wanted to be a governor and not a stepping stone to other offices, I would NEVER vote for him. EVER.
KATHY..DO NOT DO THAT..IN THE 2028….MEATBALL IS …BURNT!!!!!!
He has proved to me that he is an arrogant, compromised run-of-the-mill GOPe politician. I will never vote for DeSantis for president in any future race. He did that to himself. He was weak enough to believe the anti-Trumpers who backed him. He showed a very flawed character in his politically knifing the man who helped get him into office as Governor. I will never forget what he is attempting to do to Trump.
I would never vote for the guy. He’s clearly extremely dumb and has zero loyalty. The guy tried to stab Trump in the back and you’re still willing to vote for him? SMH.
Hahahahaha the magic rove whiteboard is a jinx

Since Network, the Uniparty can no longer compose believable scripts, and their real addiction is to a dying model of self-promotion and ‘greatest human’ award shows.
Anti Trump globalist billionaires, thought Florida ron was ready for prime time. They forgot the real President Trump had the MAGA Patriots and 4 years of America First dominance when he was President, backing him up.
Following in the wake of DeSaster we’ll have to deal with this…
“Oklahomans love Ron DeSantis. We have got to take our country back,” said Gov. Stitt during a Tulsa campaign rally for DeSantis last weekend.”
Turned his back on OK and Pres. Trump.
DeStitt may be toast too.
Set Casey free! Let her eat again!!!
DeSantis did this to himself.
He should have waited till 2028…or to be asked by the Trump campaign to be VP.
He did not see the obvious.
DeSanctis’s problem is that TRUMP is even running…IF he was not in the mix, Ron would be in first place.
He did not read the tea leaves correctly.
No, he’s a lying, conniving, corporate-owned RAT! THAT’S why he lost.
If you still think it’s because he simply didn’t wait until the right time, then you don’t know much about Ron!
Hackett and hack
LOL!
I wonder if Karl Rove still has any credibility after the licking he took in Texas?
This and the Bush rejection in the Paxton case tells a Bigly story. I can be a cynical guy when it comes to politics, but I am feeling even more of a MAGA vibe in former democrats than in 2020.
I am working in local politics; convert one person and it goes exponential.
The biggest question is how the hell do we get rid of Ronna McDaniel? She is the root cause of all of this anti-Trump nonsense.
Retired Magistrate here: Pride goes before a fall; that is Ron DeSantis.
I know some people think that if DeSantis only would have waited he could have had a great career in politics. Really? DeSantis showed himself for who he really is; a man easily swayed by power and money. A man who really doesn’t think for himself; a man with an arrogant personality who can’t or refuses to connect with the common person and a man who is totally out for himself.
So he has been “outed” for who he really is; just another politician in it for the money. But in DeSantis’ case, he doesn’t even have the charisma that some politicians have.
If I lived in Florida I would not be a happy camper. No, I am not AI; just a retired magistrate.
Floridian here. We are NOT happy with him here.
I virtually hear no one speaking about him at all, good or bad.
Just nothing.
I do like the meme, He’s TOAST! But I’d say burnt toast, without butter.
DJT is the ONLY candidate I will vote for…👍
The same reason Team Obama (esp. Obama himself) washes their hands off FJB/Kamala Harris ‘re-election’ bid. Nobody wants to be associated with a (perceived) loser, if they still want to have their hands in the game.
Question is – Can DeSantis rebuilt his reputation and general goodwill from the Republicans (both in state and nationwide) during his remaining years as the governor (and maybe transition into running for a US senate seat)?
Many of us tried to tell Ron’s annoying message board trolls that he was committing political suicide by running against Trump and we were all right. It was a no brainer for anybody who was paying attention. The fact that he did it while the left was and is trying so hard to persecute Trump with their BS indictments makes it a traitorous act, as far as I’m concerned. That goes for every Republican running against Trump and not defending and/or endorsing Trump right now. They’re making it crystal clear that they care about the party over we the people and that’s why I’m pretty much done with the GOP, unless they make some drastic changes.
Someone needs to look into the destruction of the Governors Mansion by their kids. Casey gushingly exposed the damage they are doing. Parenting like this, is what’s wrong with this country. It is called no respect for others property, or belongings. I really want to see what comes out of the Disney breakdown, on that self governing bust up, by dissolving Reedy Creek!
Watching where those DeSancto lovers end up too. X should be entertaining.
The whole Disney/DeSantis showdown was a scam.
Instant Karama 😂🤣😂🤣
Failure can be forgiven. Betrayal, not so much.
It is really a revolting development, I liked him at the beginning and thought we had a good man for Florida. But when he turned a blind eye to the fema crimes against people after the horrific hurricane last year, actually it was more like ‘yeah, sucks to be them’, while he’s showm strolling the wreckage with biden, I knew then he was ds puppet. The sad part, or should I say the question now is how will he be treating our state and its residents? If his popularity has tanked among those who once supported him, I can’t imagine him caring about Florida or what happens to it.
What a let down for Florida and our whole nation! Pray without ceasing!!!
When Dishonest first announced several Treepers suggested that the this was a BOGO or even a Trifecta operation by the Uniparty:
1. Destroy Trump
2. Destroy Florida
3. Destroy GOP chances in 2024 so Dems take control of WH, Senate, House
Bingo.
You all have forgotten, no matter the process, DeSantis’ set in Florida when COVID was being used to devastate the economy and take away personal freedoms in other states. Living in California I can tell you that the Communists have made it possible to eviscerate the US Constitution with deadly results. Suicides are rampant, jobs are gone, groceries are through the roof. Just look at our $5 dollar plus fuel, our 50/ KW power and a government at every turn trying to eliminate the middle class!
So, yea, I thought he was silly to run but much good has come from his governorship!
Well, maybe better than California, but DeSantis shut down the state during COVID for a few months.
Housing costs have skyrocketed. Car insurance exploded to about 2nd highest in nation and homeowners’ insurance is even worst. Multiple insurance companies have pulled out and the ones remaining are putting onerous demands to update or repair or replace roofs and other items in their homes to even keep their high cost insurance.
The Disney thing was all a ruse. Failed miserably. Appears to have been constructed that way.
And after claiming he was running for reelection for Governor he promised to serve us and then abandoned the state after 1 year if that to run for president; and had the law changed where he could without giving up the governorship AND changed law to hide info regarding his efforts.
So, when you DeSantis has done a lot of good, it falls deaf on the ears of a lot of Floridians.
Practically speaking alot of parental rights he marketed was an unenforceable ruse as well.
They can do little to control school districts that possess home rule powers.
If you’re about to overtake NJ (current #1 in population density) for the highest auto insurance rates in the country… wow!
Agree, he’s now more of a threat to Florida’s well being.
Like Satan he suffers from hubris , he was in a good future position but because of his excessive pride , he and his handlers (Bush/Rove), wife wanted it all and they wanted it right now, they failed miserably.
Maybe that was the idea all along!
It does knock a major Republican challenger out against Youngkin, who now likely jumps to the top of the 2028 contenders.
And just like After Reagan, After Trump, a RinoRat Youngkin, like Bush the Elder, returns the UniParty to power.
I have No Confidence in the long or even Short Term prospects of the USSA. Sorry to be a party pooper.
