The New York Times has an article written yesterday noting how the DeSantis team has a special agreement with the RNC, via WinRed, to hide the small donor contributions to their campaign.
Knowing how the Big Club operates within the private corporation known as the RNC, and with small donor contributions being a debate qualification, it makes you wonder if this “special RNC agreement” with the DeSantis team might carry a motive to ensure a debate hurdle is overcome.
(New York Times) – When WinRed, the company that processes nearly all online Republican campaign contributions, recently released its enormous trove of donor data for the first half of the year, donations were conspicuously absent for one presidential candidate: Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida.
It was no technical glitch. The DeSantis campaign worked with WinRed in a way that prevented the disclosure of donor information, ensuring that the campaign’s small donors would remain anonymous, according to a person familiar with the campaign.
The arrangement appears to be the first of its kind for a presidential campaign since WinRed’s founding four years ago and could presage a return to an era in which far less information on small donors is made public, at least for Republicans.
Representatives for Mr. DeSantis declined to describe details of the arrangement.
[…] The strategy may be most notable for what it could suggest to competitors about Mr. DeSantis’s campaign.
“To the extent that unitemized contributions could tell you something about a candidate that might be valuable, it’s that they are regional, in one place,” Mr. Mackowiak, the strategist, said. “The only thing I can think of is that their small donor base may be primarily Florida-based, and they didn’t want to appear like a regional candidate.” (read more)
Knowing with absolute certainty that everything surrounding the campaign of Ron DeSantis is manufactured, fake, Astroturf and artificial, I would strongly suggest the special arrangement between the RNC and DeSantis is motivated by their joint goal to remove MAGA from the organization.
I don’t care. We need to start consolidating true MAGA is really red states and make them even more red. Then as we grow MAGA babies spread our wings. We can’t win the big contest so let’s smash the little ones and at least hve safe communities to thrive. You eat an elephant one bite at a time. But if we withdraw from rino-group we can destroy one leg of evil while harvesting local goodness
DeSantis will always be standing in the shadow of a giant. He’s utterly nauseating, and sadly for Florida, his actions may mean a Dem win for the next governor!
Look at the contrast between DeSantis and Suarez. While DeSantis has ruined his career, Suarez will come out of this smelling like a rose. I think he is our next Florida Governor.
Start growing MAGA by turning your county into a Second Amendment Preservation Act county after the pattern of Newton County, MO where the Sheriff can arrest Federal Agents (for gun grabbing) and is fined if he cooperates with them. 1) this gets your county on the “map” with Constitutional conservatives; 2) this is a cause many conservatives will support and flock to regardless of party affiliation; 3) the group once assembles can be cultivated to grow. Because the Constitutional values are the SAME for MAGA as SAPA one cannot be strengthened without the other being strengthened. This is also a time where the conservative base in your county can assemble and win. Either get your county board to vote SAPA into effect or put in on the ballot for the public to decide and let the county board explain to the public why they wouldn’t support your initiative. Note: more than 60% of the counties in the US and 15 states are SAPA “sanctuaries.” See Noah Davis’ SAPA Sanctuary Counties web site for more informaiton.
Yeah, well, that MO SAPA law was struck down as unconstitutional of March 23′ via an Obama appointee Federal Judge Wimes.
I doubt it’s Florida, all the Northerners are gone for the summer. Did anyone see a episode of project veritas and when he went and interviewed people that supposedly made multiple small donations to Biden. Some people said they never did. Some people said they never would. And he got chased off a few times. I guess the point was… the origin of small donations are rarely ever questioned but can still really add up. Kind of like votes from a
graveyard.
Yes! Actblue stole $10,000 from my mom with dementia! She thought she was making a one time $20 contribution and they were withdrawing fund’s almost weekly.
It took about 6 months of calls and threats of filing elder abuse charges to have them return the money.
One was a $2,300 charge to attend a fundraiser.
Good you caught them raiding your mom’s funds. Makes you wonder how wide spread this abuse is.
I wonder how much money was bamboozled from all those in nursing homes that were vaxx’d and not allowed relatives to be around, or those that died and didn’t have any relatives. If democrats are involved things are dirty.
Wow – did they return the funds, or did they obfuscate with lawfare tactics to avoid accountability?
That is so sad but it shows the level of corruption infecting our government.
act blue is also laundering millions to candidates using that scheme.
Act blue also laundered the money through BurnLootMurder during the summer of love. More riots meant more money for demoncrap candidates. That’s just one scam. I can’t even imagine how many scams these scumbags have.
Sickening. They belong in jail.
I have a rhetorical question that I would like answered.
When an entity ,in pursuit of financial gain ,misrepresents itself to potential clients ,for example if a junkyard were to refurbish wrecked cars And market them as new, wouldn’t that run afoul of a list of fraudulent acts too long to list here ?
The answer would be yes wouldn’t it?
Isn’t that what the RNC and all their offshoots like WinRed do to the grassroots republicans.
There is a reason that most republicans mistakenly think the RNC represents their political interest.
It is due to the RNC’s constant cultivation of the deception that this corrupt political organization proffers day in and day out.
Why on earth are we allowing these scum to wedge themselves between the conservative base and interfere with our most sacred of civic duties ?
At least in the junkyard scenario they steal our money once time, only abusing the customer in a one and done scam.
Conversely the RNC continues the deception over and over again by using our donations fraudulently deceive us.
In both cases the victims of the fraud are left with nothing but a patchwork ,unreliable, worthless pile of excrement.
When will this BE STOPPED?
It surly will NEVER STOP ITSELF.
Just look at the over surgical plastic woman who now sits at the head of the RNC and the 10s of millions she spent on gifts for large donors.
She looks like she has had 10 million in plastic surgery since her installation
Just refuse to play their game.
“Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive”
Win-effin-Red is a top-down control mechanism. Who’s directing the floods of money they handle?
In this era of money-driven political influence, outfits like WinRed pretty much control the game. I’m giving to Trump via that P.O. Box detailed at the end of his emails > > Trump Save America JFC, PO Box 13570, Arlington, VA 22219. Whatever Trump does with the money is his business. At this point the U.S.A.’s political house is infested and over-run with rats and roaches humpin to make a money-for-corruption payday. We need the Orkin man real, real bad…
Every time I go to the site it is the “Paid for by WinRed. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. WinRed.com”
THAT, puts me off. The pdf which can be downloaded has the address Trump Save America JFC, PO Box 13570, Arlington, VA 22219 for cheque or credit donations.
I’m never ever going to do anything connected to WINRED. The last time there were individuals sending emails/texts under Pence, Nikki Hailey, forgot who else; asking for donations under Trump campaign donations.
What to make of all this?
Both urls at :

I don’t see why that puts you off. It’s all part of campaign finance law. They have to worry not just about title 52 but also state campaign finance laws.
State Campaign Finance Laws do not apply to “Federal Candidates”
I would be very leery in using any of the process payment systems based on what I have read here.
WinRed is a middle man to funnel online donations to republican campaigns. Most campaigns can’t afford to build a web finance platform so need WinRed. Of course, WinRed gets the data for use of RNC and Senate / House campaign committees.
How about a Post Office Box? Mail donations to a P.O. box. A Post Office box can be an effective, always-on “finance platform.” An honest, bonded Certified Public Accountant completes the picture. Right?
There are many easy ways (well not to easy) for candidates to process donations; but the parties seem to try to intimidate the candidate committees to use their preferred method.
There is no need for a CPA though if you have one that will do the work that is good.
How would they know that all or any small donors are MAGA? Is there a question to that effect on the donor form?
Maybe a bunch of ActBlue bots are making those small donations…🤔
That is my hypothesis as well. Team Meatball cannot disclose that those “small donors” are phony people with phony addresses/one address.
See title 52 US Code section 30104 concerning reports that campaigns must make to the Federal Election Commission and title 11 CFR for presidential candidates.
It’s funny. The Government hardly ever cares about privacy (as in – why don’t you give us your medical history before we allow you to board a plane) Or their future wet dream: why don’t we scan your iris to get you to withdraw some money?
And these same institutions now care about privacy.. Hah what a joke!
By omission you can pretty much conclude the number of small donors for DeSantis are very pathetic and / or some donors are so abhorrent and smelly nobody wants to be seen with them in the same room. Take their money though.
I have a question about donors… Who are the donors of Vivek? This guy is quite an anomaly.
By design.
As a candidate he has something; very few candidates have that something, I probably could count them on one hand; most win some do not. I am not saying I agree with his politics or want him to win.
Every time I go to YouTube a video about him is pushed, I never watched any of his videos there (cant be sure that no one else in the house has, but I doubt it). The media is also pushing him now. He has the right techie demographic to raise money and run a primary campaign with voluntaries.
The other potential candidate is the Governor from Michigan being subvertly pushed by the media. Along with the state of Michigan maybe she is the Dems chosen one this time. Havent seen a Dem candidate pushed like that since when Bill Clinton first ran.
Maybe the whole idea is for Meatball NOT to be on stage at the first debate…sounds like something the RNC would do. Their #2 pencil eraser is really getting a workout
Agree … things I’m reading today appear to indicate yet another tactic:
DeSantis … better than nothing.
It’s as if they’re admitting he’s floundering and shrugging it off as – so what – he’s not Trump.
The lack of small donor issue is huge – as small donors = voters.
I got 3 things against R. Desantis: Harvard, Yale, Guantanamo.
Ivy League lawyer with ties to intel community, how’s that been working out for us the last 100 years? Maybe I’m missing something?
No… you’re not missing a thing!
Does he have enough contributors to qualify for the debate?
Supposedly JUDASpence does … so probably.
DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO WINRED!!! Only contribute to the individual candidate and their organization!!! DEEsantis has been running a campaign, as Sundance noted on smoke and mirrors, it’s all fake!!! 😝
Do not try to suppress donations on this site.
Winred is a process server not the RNC.
Yes, people writing this sort of thing have no knowledge of how campaign committees work and how WinRed fits in.
That is false information!!!
donaldjtrump.com uses Winred as the credit card processor. WR gets the usual credit card processing fee AND NOTHING ELSE. The rest goes to PDJT’s campaign.
“Under the new plan, which WinRed President Gerrit Lansing outlined in a memo sent to senior Republicans this week, the platform will charge a flat 3.94 percent fee per donation. Until this point, the for-profit outfit had been charging 3.8 percent per contribution, plus another 30 cents. The change is set to go into effect Jan. 1.”

Donate here instead. 100% of the money goes to Trump: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/
I see that even Trump’s website uses WinRed. Here, you can send cash straight to Trump and bypass online fees:

This form gives out the address below.
Checks not Cash. You don’t want another indictment 🙂
Better they get it all instead of some processor.
To be fair, WinRed does get the data and it goes to RNC database. That in turn is accessed by for example precinct president / committeeman for get-out-the-vote which as we know from 2020 is vital where mail-in is concerned.
Thank yoo
Deleted.
This intrigued me, so I did a little research into the Ron! donors, and I found a weird thing…
There are 11 donors who donated exactly 204.10, each of them donated $100.00 first time and then $104.10 the second time.
Weird, right? See for yourself. In the meantime, I’m going to take a peek at who these donors are.
https://www.fec.gov/data/committee/C00841130/?tab=raising
One of them is a Rubio supporter: https://twitter.com/ejschmitt114?lang=en
There appears to be nothing that connects them all. Only thing of note I see is that none of them have a social media presence, so they’re not activists. They appear to be low-infos.
or fake
The operative word being “appears”…look to see if these people are either contributors or commenters on so-called conservative sites, such as Salem Media, which consists of Townhall, Red State, PJ Media, Hot Air, Twitchy & Bearing Arms.
SM is nothing but a DeFraud cheerleading site…save a tiny, tiny minority that supports Trump.
I know Daily Wire & The Blaze (exception Jason Whitlock & “maybe” Mark Levin) are also DeFraud cheerleading sites.
SMH at all the supposed “conservative” people on the Right that are DYING to assist the GOPe with ridding the party of Trump & we unwashed MAGA voters.
HELL NO…WE WON’T GO!!!
I refuse any social media presence, so I guess I am in your “low info” demo.
Well, you are defending WinRed while you obviously don’t know anything about them.
Sometimes “I don’t know” is the most correct answer to give, especially when you haven’t done your homework.
So, I see it going like this: Guy donates $100, they ask him to double it and he does so, then they ask him to cover the processing fees and he agrees to that.
As they always ask those things, it’s not a stretch to imagine many donors produce the very same pattern in a completely innocent non-sinister manner.
Other than that they are donating to Runt DeSanctus of course.
So, on top of hiding who’s funding his past, present, and future travels, now he’s hiding who’s contributing to his campaign. The more I hear about this snake-in-the-grass, the more he appears to be like all other politicians to me.
Time for America First to split from the GOP. The GOP subtracts value. They sabotage, obfuscate, lie, and steal the base’s contributions. Time to remove the rotten, gangrenous GOP from the America First body politic. We will never succeed in kicking them out of their own club. They are not only not helping us rebuild America–they are undermining our effort. They mouth our issues and campaign on them, and then they act in a 180° opposed manner. WE CAN’T FIX THEM! We have to cut loose their dead weight and build a party from our core principles on up.
RDS is quietly turning looking like pffy cheeks Marlon Brando in Godfather!
According to Laura Loomer: “Ron DeSantis’s Presidential Campaign has just been slapped with a VIOLATION letter from the Federal Elections Commission in a 49 page letter detailing 46 pgs of what FEC is calling “Apparent excessive, prohibited and impermissible contributions” that have been made to DeSantis’s campaign for President. FEC is giving DeSantis’s campaign until 9/11/23 to respond w/ documentation & a course correction, or else his campaign could face legal & financial penalties for not being in compliance.”
Does this mean RINOS are actually stupid enough to believe they can cheat – too?
demonRATS create, control & have complete access to ALL cheating !!!
I’ve been posting here & everywhere that the Campaign Legal Center filed an ETHICS complaint with the FEC on May 30. Part of the complaint is the illegality of how DeFraud transferred 82 Million leftover gubernatorial campaign money into his Never Back Down super PAC.
Thanks for posting this!… I’ve been wondering how the investigation was proceeding.
No Trump no audience.
Fox is having meetings daily to persuade Trump to help them out on showing up for the debate.
They are also having meetings on how to stick the knifes in his back if he shows up for the debate.
You know the phrase
“Fair and Balanced.”
Don’t show up!
I think President Trump is having fun with this.
How can Christie, Pence, or Ass-uh Hutchinson sign the pledge given what they have already said about Trump?
O’Keefe did an expose on how Dems were using unsuspecting people’s names and addresses to make multiple “small” donations, sometimes several in the same day! Don’t be surprised if RDS resorts to this type of manipulation in order to meet whatever thresholds the club has set up, or to project grassroots strength that doesn’t exist. The astroturf operation is very very real.
After this all plays out…everyone will forget about De-Santis and the others… We need to be worried about Election Integrity!
This stinks and appears like a potential violation of FEC disclosure requirements.
https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/keeping-records/recording-receipts/
I’m sure that the RNC and WinRed folks have someone how reads this blog to ‘take the pulse’ and for ‘research’.
To those folks I’d like to say that what you’re doing is as weaselly as it gets.
BTW, we’re watching you, we know your tactics, and have a healthy contempt for you, yes you.. personally.
Your candidate will fail.
The weasels aren’t as invisible as they think
It’s distinctly possible that there are very few small donors to the Ron! op…that could be why they are trying to hide that information. It’s difficult to imagine a large corpus of small donors supporting Ron!, particularly in Florida.
I also truly doubt that they’re doing it to keep donor information “anonymous”…since when do they care about regular ‘mericans?
I never believe anything from the NYT, WaPo et al. anyway…🧐
The other aspects of DeSanctimonious donors that most people aren’t aware of are the connections between his large donors and the CCP. See Laura Loomer’s video.
Laura Loomer on Twitter: “MUST WATCH NEW VIDEO: DeCompromised: How @RonDeSantis’s Presidential Campaign is Being Bankrolled By Affiliates Of The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and @tiktok_us’s Largest Investors @TeamDeSantis @sequoia @NvrBackDown24 @club4growth @TrumpWarRoom @JasonMillerinDC @susie57 https://t.co/MYnXjFFgcJ” / X
could it be that. The RNC made the numerous small donations to get them qualified? Whaaattttt.
My guess is they are hiding the donors, because they are all employees of a billionaire who gave them the money to donate.
He is special, now get back to FL and Do what you were elected to do!
Hi, I’m the ‘original Beau Geste’ at CTH. (taken from the childhood novel)
Could you be Beau Geste2?
It’s not that his small-donor base is exceedingly small, it’s of perfectly normal size… and it’s, uhhh… regional! Yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket. Regional. Nothing to hide. His perfectly normal-sized small-donor base is just regional, centered around his home state where, like everywhere else, he’s getting the s#!t kicked out of him by the frontrunner.
Sneaky Meatball.
Floridian here. After the events of the last few months, I don’t even want DeSantis as my governor anymore. Time for him to step aside and let Nunez take over.
Sundance, how do we start organizing protests at Red Team events? Calling on people to bring their Trump gear, stand outside, and instead of Trump’s rallying cry of “lock her up,” yell “write him in.”
There needs to be a massive effort, now, of people willing and planning to do the largest write-in effort in American history to win the presidency. No way is the republican party going to give him the opportunity again.
Go to the rallies that Trump puts on and gather signatures and contact info. Also, precinctcommitteemen.com will put you in touch with locals who can help too.
It’s not because it’s regional. It’s because he’s not getting the threshold of small donors. I sincerely doubt the people of Florida, from whom he’s taking a salary for a job he isn’t doing, are sending him even more money to not do the job he’s already getting paid for not doing.
I stopped giving to WinRed or any of their affiliated candidates or pacs, a long time ago.
But you and many others never cease to discourage those that otherwise have no call to fear supporting our Champion.
PDJT puts it all on the line, is in the ring with the worst of the worst on our behalf, and we put our noses in the air declaring we are too good to send him funds via a site that is much less our enemy than those he is battling daily.
You are not giving “to” WinRed to support President Trump, you are giving “through” WinRed, and they pittance they take is called a processing fee that any credit card processor would take.
I, and all Treepers, get the disdain for all things GOP, but most of us can get past that to support PDJT.
Here, you can send cash straight to Trump and bypass online fees:
https://cdn.donaldjtrump.com/djtweb24/general/TSA_JFC_Contributor_Form_230217.pdf
This form gives out the address below.
Yup, easy peasy, though I’d sooner trust WinRed than the USPS.
Found something really interesting….
“While the pro-Trump super PAC spent more than it took in during the first six months of the year, the super PAC backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has continued to stockpile cash for the primary fight.
.
Never Back Down reported more than $96.8 million in its campaign account as of June 30 — roughly three times the $30.8 million that MAGA Inc. had on hand at the same time.
.
The filings showed the bulk of the money Never Back Down raised, $82.5 million, came from one source: DeSantis’ Florida political committee. Monday’s filing is the first time that transfer has been publicly disclosed, although it had been previously reported by news outlets.”
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trumps-legal-woes-are-costing-political-operation-millions-dollars-rcna97196
“New fundraising data from WinRed, the online donation processing firm used by Trump and most Republican candidates, shows he ended June with almost 400,000 unique, online donors from the launch of his campaign through the end of June. That includes more than 115,000 new, online donors who joined the fold the week surrounding the New York indictment, plus another 29,000 who gave for the first time in the 2024 campaign after his federal indictment in Miami.”
Now we know why DeSantis doesn’t want WinRed to show his donors, because there’s only one….
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/donald-trumps-indictment-fueled-throng-small-donors-looms-rivals-rcna97702
I think DeSantis doesn’t have the required small donor numbers. Clearly RNC was worried Pence would not be able to debate but they hid the donors or lack for DeSantis- for a reason.
Hummm…. let’s see, his wife (1); her mother (2); both of their housekeepers (4); the dog groomer (5) and… well there’s…. um…. uh…. SO THEIR PRIVACY IS SACROSANCT!
DeSantis didn’t see that the powers that be convinced him to run now so they can destroy him. Mission accomplished. Stick a fork in him. He is done.
