It’s too late.
After losing 12% of stock value, $16 billion in company worth, more than 25% of sales and dropping out of the #1 position for beer in the USA, Anheuser Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth finally announced, “Today we took the very difficult but necessary decision to eliminate a number of positions across our corporate organization.”
The effort is described by Oxygen Financial CEO Ted Jenkin as corporate speak, where “simplify and reduce layers” can be translated to “clean up the corporate mess,” make the shareholders happy and increase the stock price. However, Anheuser Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth, a former CIA operative and woke corporate leader, waited too long and still doesn’t recognize the issue.
Stick a fork in Anheuser Busch and Bud Light, they’re done.
None of this was accidental or unforeseeable. Factually, former Budweiser Light Vice President of Marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, told Anheuser Bush executives exactly what they were getting when they hired the Wharton business school graduate. Her intent was to bring a new cultural wokeism into the company, and the cultural wokeism is exactly what the company wanted.
Anheuser Busch got exactly what they structurally set themselves up to require. VP of Marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, did not fail in her job – she delivered exactly what she was hired to generate. The infection will not be removed or cured by firing approximately 400 corporate white-collars who executed the Heinerscheid vision for the company, because it was not her vision alone.
The Anheuser Busch CEO and Board of Directors created the space for Heinerscheid to operate, approved of every move, gleefully celebrated the intent and purpose, and yet now stand back jaw-agape at the outcome? The time for pearl clutching, and reactionary perspectives is in the rear-view mirror. Do you really think the same CEO who approved the Heinerscheid agenda is really capable of removing the Heinerscheid culture?
Stop pretending. A generational collapse of a once heralded brand is complete. No one is going to touch Budweiser and the brand is permanently destroyed. How can I be so certain? Check out the video after the article.
[Side Note – The collapse is so complete and consequential, even General Mills is in damage control mode, scrubbing all connections after supporting and enlisting Alissa Heinerscheid in their college internship program.]
(Fox News) – […] According to a letter sent to employees, laid-off staff will receive severance pay, six months of continued company-paid health insurance benefits and resources to help find a new job.
The controversy embroiling Anheuser-Busch over Bud Light’s short-lived partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney has sent shockwaves through the company and the beer-making industry.
The Ardagh Group, a global glass producer who contracts with the Anheuser-Busch company, recently announced that it will be closing its plants in North Carolina and Louisiana in July, putting roughly 645 employees out of a job.
The bottling company did not reveal the reason for the move, but an investigation by WRAL reportedly found that the plants are shuttering because of tanking Bud Light sales.
Data from Evercore ISI shows that in the 12-week period leading up to July 2, Bud Light’s sales volume fell by 27.1% over that timeframe — which includes much of the aftermath following Mulvaney’s partnership with the beer brand.
Will Hild, the executive director of Consumers’ Research, noted that customers are now seeing firsthand how much power they have to control the market and “make their voices heard.” (more)
Pretending has consequences….
This is a video of Anheuser Busch CEO Brenden Whitworth on June 28th, explaining the issue as he sees it. Stop for a minute, just pull back to the 30,000-foot level, and look at the basics.
Does this guy with a scruffy beard, sneakers and a business suit with no tie, look like a corporate executive who understands stewardship? Not even close.
CEO Brenden Whitworth represents the culture of popular style in corporate management. Marketing VP Alissa Heinerscheid is what you get with this specific type of CEO.
Effective corporate leadership is boring, bland, steady, stable, consequential to the core mission and yet brutally focused on consumer value and long-term steady outcomes.
Yes, in a modern era some stuffiness needs to be removed from the cultural climate, Tim Cook is a great example of that. However, Brenden Whitworth is what you get when you take “popular image” or progressive creep too far.
Who Brenden Whitworth is, meaning the stuff inside this guy, reflects exactly why Donald Trump did not put Don Trump Jr. in charge of Trump Corporation. Donald Trump chose Eric Trump to run the company for this exact reason. [Oh snap, was that my outside voice?!]
Bud Light is done. WATCH:
AH does not care about financial losses and layoffs. Their only concern is their DEI and ESG scores regarding the WEF’s and UN’s diversity agenda and a few other NWO agenda’s. They are fighting to be in favor. CEO’s stiffing shareholders to make the agenda’s above, complete. Stockholders will lose whether on board with their agenda or not.Funny that AH has a former CIA officer at the helm. Look around at other companies and see who their CEO’s really are. Check it out folks. Question everything.
I was wondering about that myself, as “former CIA” has cropped up twice today reading CTH, the first was Will Hurd former CIA operative at the Iowa Lincoln Dinner attempting to damage Trump. Now the Anheuser story brings up that the CEO is former CIA. I have heard “former CIA” mentioned a few other times in relation to “former CIA” running for state government offices. It has made me wonder about a concerted effort to plant them everywhere. So, just thinking outloud here, is the CIA a vehicle for the WEF cabal and agenda?
Also, as a side note, Whitworth said the word “impact” 6 time in less than 30 seconds and used the phrase repeatedly to say nothing. It was reminiscent of how vp Kamala Harris speaks in circles using the same word over and over and saying nothing of substance.
Dr. Robert Malone on Bannon’s War Room discussing the CIA. This may not explain everything, but it explains MUCH:
https://rumble.com/v32s9a0-dr.-robert-malone-we-needed-to-protect-the-ccp-that-was-part-of-the-logic-i.html
He’s smiling throughout the interview. He’s not worried, he’s happy. He’s doing exactly what he was hired to do, which is to destroy the company. He’s smiling and happy because he is succeeding superbly at the task his CIA handlers assigned him, to destroy AB. How many more Brendon Whitworths has the CIA put place?
It seems that the alphabet agencies of the government have tasks outlined and when the season is ripe, they pull the “surprise” cord and we get crap like the AB fiasco, Pride in our Face marches and parades, and ….. let me say this we a prayer of regret, it is school shooting time again. They take mentally or emotionally challenged individuals and manipulate them into doing evil acts to promote their efforts at anti-2nd amendment sentiment. We are on to the scam!
Certainly would be easy to do with the advent of social media manipulation. I am certain all of these shooters are on social media 24/7, and it would be easy to slide “triggering” content into various feeds and bombard them with antagonistic type content. Adding that to an already unstable mind would be an easy target. Would be an interesting study to be able to see exactly what content they were looking at in the months leading up to the shooting.
It certainly is a strange career path. CIA to CEO of a huge beer brand. I would guess that all of the larger American corporations have been converged to one degree or another.
One has to wonder how long before they do things like use formaldehyde in the beer (a vintage practice in some asia beers …)
Destroy companies; job losses make everyone dependent on government?
It’s like so many other things we talk about on these pages.
It’s pro-American vs anti-American.
These people are not pro-American. They are part of the group attempting to destroy America and tear us apart from within.
It’s plain and simple. Viewing this through any other lens is just a distraction.
“Everything woke turns to shit.” These people know this and are using it for that very purpose. They want to destroy America.
“Woke” similar to the “Climate Change” hoax are programs/operations put in place for the same purpose, to weaken/destroy America.
Wake up!
The Dylan ad campaign worked so well that people are lining up to buy Bud light. Oh wait…how did that not work?
That is what happens when you are more worried about DEI than the people who actually buy your product.
I wish them total success on their self destruction.
Just like Disney. Congratulations on pulling the pin on self-destruction. Go woke, go broke.
The last sentence of this article is perhaps the most interesting.
The WOKEism traces all the way back to InBEV HQ in Brussels. A proud member of the WEF and crusader for new world order. Notice, top dogs at Anheuser Busch remain, planning the next foray.
with a BLACKROCK hung around their neck, Anheuser will sink to the bottom
Can someone explain why there are no shareholder class action suits being files as a result of this grand marketing “misstep”
He knew exactly what he was doing. Never forget that accidents happen when we least expect them. This was no accident. Well planned and executed with precision. Now, in our weak economy people have lost their jobs due to this idiot and his leadership.
His leadership on marketing strategy has failed and I must remember to etch his name in my brain and when he shows up somewhere else, I will recognize his forked tongue and tail feathers for what they are. Idiot and mean spirited fool he is.
BRENDAN WHITWORTHPuppets for the puppeteers.
Watched the video. What a bunch of two way Bullshit talk. His problem is he never picked up a case of beer and delivered to a store. You need people who came from the bottom up to successfully run a business. He’ll be out there within a year.
Now do you believe me?? It begins with brain fog then irritability followed by irrational behavior as the brain is slowly damaged by the synthetic spike protein in the jab. The shape of the spike protein abrades the inner lining ( endothelium ) of all of the body’s blood vessels but for this discussion I am talking about the brain, inflaming them and limiting blood flow leading to brain fog, irritability and irrational behavior over a period of about a year. Want to know why so many are asking “why is it that so many people say and do stupid things in the last 2 years”. Brain damage ( permanent ) caused by the jab is why. Coming is the unprecedented death caused by destruction to the immune system and other critical organs in the body that will be unfolding over the next 5 years. Key people around the world are exhibiting this brain damage already and still are making decisions for all of us with consequences for all of us yet they are impaired by the jab. Unlike substance abuse there will be no test for this impairment. This is worse than the ignorant impacting the economic workings here and around the world. The damage will be done to all of the jabbed even on the conservative side so the lunacy will be beyond all comprehension.
USAA is has been going down the same path over the past few years, it’s just not getting as much publicity. Well known to the members, more and more are moving their money out to other institutions.
Although I fear soon there will be nowhere to go.
When I was young USAA was just a place where officers got car insurance. But management decided that growing the business was most important. As a mutual-insurance entity in theory the members can control direction, but in practice that doesn’t happen.
Brenden Whitworth looks like Hunter Biden. ‘Nuff said.
Bub bye commie sympathizers….
NO MERCY
Whatever happened to CEOs with age and maturity and the useful experience that comes with both? Perhaps a paunch and jowls, but could do the job?
Today, every important decision seems to be based on superficiality.
Same thing that happened to government leaders, who previously, were often evil but semi competent replaced with people who have 80 IQs, like the Vice President. Hell, we have at least two of them on the US Supreme Court.
Where is the Manifesto?
Weak leaders “take” decisions, strong leaders “make” decisions. Easy to spot! His use of the term “take” says it all.
Also, keep in mind that Bud Light doesn’t have a distinct taste. Sales were driven by marketing. Therefore, when a Bud drinker moves on to another beer in that category and it tastes the same or better there is no reason to go back given the wokeism association with the Bud brand.
Reminds me of the Schlitz debacle of the 1970s when they got some honcho that thought heroic cost cutting had no consequences and even had a quote, something like… it’s all horse p!ss and the plebs won’t notice.
Schlitz went from No. One to none in the 70s.
Those AB shareholders, suppliers, employees and distributors all need a SWAT team or better to clean out these idiots.
Schlitz was family owned so they have no one to blame but themselves. But the family (Uihlein) I guess is pretty MAGA so there’s that.
He does not exude CEO qualities at all. And the tech exec no tie and tennis shoes outfit just looks silly. He should just go ahead and wear a tee shirt and look like a character from “Billions/”
On July 3, the following article was posted at Western Journal.
Former A-B CEO, Anson Frericks scorched Whitworth for ignoring several opportunities to recover this Titanic example of poor business leadership.
However, the questions now are, was Whitworth ignoring those opps intentionally and was the business plan to sink the brand, altogether?
https://www.westernjournal.com/former-anheuser-busch-president-calls-brands-ceo-resign-scathing-letter/
AB is not alone in its desire to appear woke. All one need do is scroll through the thousands of Linked In accounts to get a picture of Corporate America’s desire to simp to the hipster fascists they’re afraid of.
HR departments and boards of directors across the land are loaded with those hipster high brows and have a strangle hold on the American workforce using indoctrination techniques (called Learning Management Systems) as well as fear based policy reinforcement.
Hiring and promotion standards also now mirror those of the nation’s professorate. If a prospective candidate is a known wokester, that candidate will automatically become a top one. Its easy to know who those candidates are simply because they’re allowed to speak freely while patriots have been muted out of fear of professional repercussions.
Anheuser is NOT alone. It has a LOT of company.
“In 2008, InBev acquired Anheuser-Busch, creating Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), expanding on InBev’s previous status as the world’s largest brewer, creating one of the top five consumer products companies in the world.” from wikipedia.
Inbev’s purchase of Anheuser-Busch is old enough to buy beer. If you are going to critique this, name Inbev.
Busch is cowboys, and Bud is the King of Beers. Inbev is bud light dragonfruit seltzer.
Being a retired businessman myself, I can see why Sundance wrote that Trump Sr. chose his son Eric over Donald Jr., to run the Trump Empire, while he was trying to Save America from Liberalism & what it traditionally does (in the past).
That said, I have watched videos, where Donald Jr. is “warming-up the audience” before his father’s speech & have concluded that I’m looking at the next Trump family member to run for Public Office.
IMO, I think that Donald Trump Sr. “sees” the same thing as I do, in his son Donald Jr. He’s better suited to be a Politician & his son Eric is better suited to run the Family Empire!
Am I wrong here or maybe you can correct me with your “expertise”?
No offense to anyone here, but I’m just trying to “weed-out the trolls here”, with a “troll-trap”! LOL!
Tranny beer will never be a best seller, and a college grad couldn’t figure this out.
That is what I call a wake up call.
For some reason my comments get deleted eventhough they are innocuous so I won’t be commenting anymore.
I have a plan to rehabilitate Bud and Bud Light. First sell the company to the distributors and bottle makers for 10 million. Second, fire Twitfield the CEO. Third, fire the board of directors. Fourth, hire Jason Aldean as CEO. I know, he didn’t go to Wharton, but the guy who did along with Heinnersnide ruined the company. Fifth, adopt Aldean’s “Try this in a small town” as Bud’s theme song, and watch the customers come back!
The problem isn’t Bush Lite. The problem is Anheuser Busch! I hope the company sinks very soon.
The problem is InBev, a Belgian/EU company that owns A-B.
That’s a lot of jobs lost , when there are not many being created , hmmmm
Who are the largest share holders of INBEV? They have got to be on board with this.
Great insight into the corporate types who supported Hitler.
Don’t forget. They’re not going to be firing the least productive employees, they need to maintain DIE.
Much rather see a “comeback” of those who respectfully recognize deviant behavior for what it is, not having the militant alphabet tribe destroying them for their beliefs.
The Bud Light boycott is a triumph of normal people with traditional values over the oppressively woke who wish to force their far-left views on everyone else.
People are tired of being expected to go along with the delusion that people can magically change their sex. That is absurd and incorrect. You remain the sex you were born as for life whether you like that or not.
You can try to make yourself appear to be the opposite sex by adopting the clothing, hairstyles, makeup, and behaviors culturally associated with the opposite sex, but that doesn’t change your sex.
Surgery and hormone treatments don’t change your sex either.
People are often pressured by other people and institutions, such as employers and schools, to go along with the delusion that occurs when someone decides to become a tranny.
This pressure includes the expectation that one must refer to trannies as their tranny sex instead of their biological sex and that trannies should be able to use the restrooms and locker rooms of their choice.
It also includes the expectation that trannies should be able to join sports teams and other organizations intended for their tranny sex instead of their biological sex.
People suffer familial, social, academic, and career repercussions for not going along with the tranny delusions of others.
The Bud Light boycott provided a powerful opportunity for regular people to push back against the woke, militant push for trannyism.
I’m glad that the Bud Light boycott has been successful. I want it to continue indefinitely and expand to other brands, companies, and institutions as well.
The executives at Anheuser-Busch InBev are so woke that they will never change or admit they were wrong for hiring the Bud Light Tranny and for insulting their customers as being “fratty.”
Anheuser-Busch InBev deserves to be driven out of business. The non-woke employees at AB-InBev that will be put out of work due to the woke corporate executives can find new jobs at companies more deserving of their labor.
The collapse of a brand of beer or even a giant corporate brewery is not a big deal except for the poor saps whose jobs were destroyed by the foolish CEO. It is no threat to our economy or lifestyle either. Fortunately, there are hundreds of alternatives, many better than the flat, tasteless swill put out by A-B. What is important, is consumers banding together with no leadership but a common disgust at having woke politics shoved down our throats by activists and elites. By universally voting with our wallets, we are saying we are not going to take it anymore and succeeding to a degree never imagined by the Ivy League no-nothings who live in their privileged bubble. This is only the beginning of the rise of the silent majority. 2024 will have an equally surprising outcome, in spite of all the Democrats, liberals, elites, and their lapdogs can throw at President Trump, A-B can do nothing to fix this now. They can throw their marginal and unknown CEO under the bus, and no one will notice. He is as forgotten now as the stupid Marketing types who thought this was a good idea. But I am enjoying the weekly theater that they have all provided, and I have discovered a few new good brews like Modelo Especial thanks to their bonehead actions.
