At first blush, the following question might seem like a sideways throwaway snark at the professionally political. However, at the heart of it, there’s a truth in the question I am genuinely curious about.
Have you ever noticed that Donald Trump supporters have a better sense of humor than the supporters of all other political candidates?
I mean, it’s just a truthful observation. Trump supporters are just plain funnier, have a fun disposition and are humorous people.
Like many of you, I’ve followed politics for a long time, and this is just one of those random observations that I have noticed.
The people who support President Donald Trump just have a much greater sense of humor. Why is that?

People who take themselves too seriously have no real ability to laugh at themselves, which makes for VERY grumpy people, IMHO!!

MAGA folks are comfortable with their beliefs. Non MAGA folks are not, thus causing bitterness in themselves.
I have two pictures I’ve kept of the Queen and President Trump.
In each one she is looking at up at President Trump and smiling.
And I mean truly smiling…with her eyes.
She was as happy in his company as he was in hers; and it showed. I have never seen her smile like that in any other photograph with any other President. And she was photographed with many.
She was known to have a wicked sense of humour, and I would have loved to be an unseen observer during that visit…I’m betting they both laughed their socks off.
So glad to see this picture of the pair of them. It has done my heart a power of good.

Trump is a throwback to pre-PC. People who talk about “cringeworthy” Trumpisms are conditioned to “cringe” due to PC sensitization. Trump doesn’t get butterflies before tossing Rosie offhandedly. People sense that and love a regular person who is comfortable in his own skin–the hell with anyone who wishes to disrupt that–that’s refreshing, magnetic, and invigoratingly contagious.
When you’re happily miserable among friends or friendly commiserates, joviality ensues.

President Trump is the best! In anything he does – he outshines all others.
I have never laughed so heartily and unexpectedly as I did in 2015-16, during the campaign! He was SO FUNNY, with an impeccable sense of timing.
And he still is!
I have often laughed harder at PDJT’s wit than at any professional comedian’s, except maybe the subtlety of Stephen Wright.
Wright was on another level of comedic genius.

My Trump evolvement. In early 2015 I hated the man.
In November 2015 I tolerated him.
In January of 2016 I liked him.
In March of 2016 I LOVED him!

Being joyful is a gift from God. Most people love to laugh, at themselves and others. Most can see the humor/irony in the human condition. We share how absurd man can be, and laughing together is comradship and agreement. The people on the left have no joy, they are seeking a way to make everything and everyone conform to their joylessness. So sad to be around such unhappy, downer souls.

Trump supporters have a sense of humor whilst the liberals are always angry and full of hate.
A little anecdotal secret if I may…….Liberals go through life trying to find HAPPINESS. They make such a big deal of it. I am not sure many ever really find it (highly doubtful). ADMITTEDLY, I don’t believe it exists other than a temporary state. How do you even define it? Its why I don’t try and look for it. I am content and I don’t need to constantly remind myself of it.
However what is dangerous about the left is they actually blame others for their inability to capture it. Guess who they feel the need to take it out on.

It’s because we are happier and have the joy of God in our lives. For those who don’t believe or worship a God, they have a powerful connection to good feelings and harbor love in their hearts in spiritual ways that work well for them.
Having this endowment enables one to fight back negative will towards others and it fosters a willingness to get along with everyone in order to boost our lives with creative, meaningful and upwards momentum together.
We want freedom and liberty for all. But, our opposition does not. So, here we are.

I despised Donald Trump. Early 2000’s when I saw him with that beautiful lady I scoffed and assumed it was because of money. Figured he was like any other celebrity. THEN I taped the Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump in 2012 (I think). He was ripped to shreds by a multitude of some very hardcore comedians who held nothing back.
Trump took it like a champ. I couldn’t help but love him for that performance. Had never paid any attention to him beforehand. He really is a funny dude. It really humanized him in my eyes.
He is a good guy who can laugh at himself. Makes him so likeable to those who are curious to get to know him. The ones who HATE him have never taken the time to meet him. He is a showman but its the warmth that resonates with others.
Good on you. I believe that Melania was a millionaire in her own right before she met Donald.

It all comes down to intelligence. Trump supporters happen to know their stuff. They are critical thinkers, not followers. Those who follow are too easily led down a dark path.
God gave us the gift of discernment and we use it. Positive people are happy. Happy people are joyful. Joyful people are playful and yes, playful people are often very funny.

Humor is all around us daily.
God shines his light on the good humor in our imperfect world and those who are blessed with wisdom and common sense see it immediately; therefore much laughter.
It’s a glorious day after all when we find humor and happiness in all the small things happening in our everyday lives.
Smiling and laughing also gives us a healthier perspective, prettier faces with less wrinkles and no need for plastic facial surgery because we are comfortable in our own skin.

The essence of humor entails surprise – this is why there is a general tradition in Christianity that Christ on earth never laughed, because, quite simply, nothing ever surprised Him since He is omniscient.
The normal person is neutral or optimistic about the possibility of surprise; the maladaptive leftist is pessimistic at the thought of surprise. Hence the leftist’s ancillary motivation for control over others’ lives.
They also project this attitude onto others, hence their “humor” more often than not is not humor at all, but more just blatant malice; in their world of scarcity where everything is interpreted in the worst light, social life is a competition to one-up the next person. Their humor is less delight in surprise, and more delight in spiteful denigration of whatever chosen mob target.
Their “humor” is fundamentally intended to hurt people. There isn’t anyone who knows more than they do, so there’s no room for delightful surprise. (Ego and arrogance kills genuine joy.)

The idea that Christ never laughed while on Earth is ludicrous. Laughter isn’t just about surprise. It’s also about enjoyment, joy, contentment, and happiness. To claim that Christ never laughed with His disciples, His friends, or anyone else is to totally dehumanize the God-Man.

I think the key is that President Trump truly loves people, Dekester. And it shows.
No matter what station in life they may come from, he is not false in his genuine affection for them. And that’s the difference.
There is no barrier between him and his supporters.

I think MAGA’s sense of humor may be our most defining trait. When we say the left can’t meme, what we really mean is, they don’t have a sense of humor.
They’re miserable and haughty. I feel that those who aren’t MAGA often actually PREFER establishment politicians who feed pretense, rather than the reality we seek – warts and all. It’s through humor that we process and accept human imperfection, whereas our counterparts regularly adopt the position of angrily beating the wall, trying to perfect humans. That we dare just laugh through our imperfections and the political wars, infuriates them.
Trump’s “look at this photograph” meme was a shining moment of this.
Firstly, it was absolutely hilarious while pointing out Biden’s corruption and lies. Secondly, the anti-funny democrats went ballistic and managed to get it removed under some sorta copy right crap. They went absolutely crazy, because, they can’t stand when we have fun – especially at their expense. They get big mad.
The Trump body slam’s CNN tweet, along with his tweet calling Kim Jong-un short and fat, are all a part of the greatest hits. It still amazes me that his Presidency actually happened, and God do I hope it happens again. His Tweets, during his 1st Presidency, should all be photographed and turned into an art gallery!

From what I can tell, Trump supporters are unique people with humor…and heart.
People on the right of politics are genuine people who love other people. They are open because they are not afeared. They hold truth deep within their core. They can take the micky out of themselves with fun receiving laughter back. So much enjoyable ‘moments’ when striking up conversations with strangers – in the lift, on the bus, at the shopping centre. Just stop a lady with a very nice hairdo coming towards you and comment on how lovely her hair is and immediately her face lights up and she tells how miraculous it is because her hairdresser was sick and SHE DID IT HERSELF. Laughter is medicine. The Giver and the Receiver walk away ON HIGH.
Because we’re just more “funner” people lol
God gave me a great sense of humor. And I thank him for that. Otherwise I would have been a liberal.
