The private corporation (RNC) has a vested interest in Trump delivering credibility to the organization. The Fox News corporation has a vested interest in Trump delivering credibility and ratings to the organization. Whether President Trump decides to attend or not, the desperation expressed by the two corporations is a little funny.
The Freudian slip in this soundbite “20 million dollars” is also funny. WATCH:

All Trump’s presence will do is to increase the ratings biggly. If Trump should decide to entertain the RNC’s idea of a debate, he should first extract some pain and blood from the corporation. Nothing short of him recording Rona on her knees begging him to attend, as well as a high threshold of requirements for the other contenders to qualify for the debate.

Saw an interesting interview with the author of a Tucker Carlson biography. The author was a frequent guest on Fox until the biography became known. The he was dropped. He said that the reason Fox settled that Dominion case is because Rupert is senile and they did not want to take a chance on him being called as a witness. Another theory is that Fox fired him to show that all the talent was at risk of being fired no matter their ratings. Apparently the ratings have crashed with the present lineup.

I keep reading the viewership numbers and they talk about Fox or CNN or MSPMS getting a couple million viewers and maybe 150,000 in the “target demo”. Aren’t there around 330 million people in the country? Less than one percent of the country watches Fox News. Its an irrelevant cable news channel that practically no one watches.
