However, for some seemingly incurious reason, Nikki Haley never received that question from Tucker Carlson.

He used a version of Psalm 23:4 in his Twitter vid on RFK, Jr. I had written a version of it on here the day they dragged Trump into NYC to be framed, just as a sole quote. I was feeling very burdened. I come from right outside NYC so it seemed extra-personal in various ways.
Anyway, Tucker cited a version that comes from the King James Bible (mine didn’t). It included the ‘Yea’ before the main line, which is indicative of KJB: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,” he said. The rest would have been “I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.”
It is kind of interesting to me that he included the more formal, authoritarian version where words like ‘thou’ and ‘thy’ replace ‘you’ and ‘yours,’ clearly hearkening the King James Version. King James I had his bible written for several reasons, but a main one was to repress the burgeoning Puritan movement in England, particularly the radicals among them, although at that time most were ‘radical.’ James abhorred the populist spirit of the Puritans and especially the Presbyterians (main drivers of American Revolution) who wanted a congregation based on democratic type ideals and governance:

Tucker Carlson in his speech that mentioned God and prayer and was the last straw for Rupert Murdoch, forthrightly acknowledged the truth that anyone familiar with the path of the Episcopal Church already knows: That “church” is no longer Christian in its theology, teachings, or practice. Carlson said that truth out loud, and that took spiritual courage on his part to say it.
I do not think it is fair to tar Carlson now with the failings of the church in which he was raised.
I too am descended from Presbyterians, and well acquainted with the sins of the Church of England, from the 1650’s onward. But we are not our ancestors, and a female pastor in the PCUSA apparently just said that aborting a Downs Syndrome child is an “act of love.” The Presbyterians may have fallen even further, faster, than the Episcopalians.
As for the King James language, whatever theological or translation difficulties it may present, the beauty of the language is undeniable.
I have read that Psalm aloud to a person on her death bed. I chose the KJV, for in that moment, no other version would have been as familiar, or as comforting.

I’m not concluding anything here. I am suggesting people look deep into what TC does and says, however. I don’t know if TC himself is all that deep by his inherent nature, but the world he inhabits and his fellow travelers are. He is absolutely communicating things at times on multiple levels. Most don’t pick up on an element of menace he is capable of.

I’m not sure if that is because he was not confident or perhaps he is one of those people who is a hero in a room by himself, but a huckleberry when he has to actually confront someone..It’s was weird….like something a school boy would do…his head lowered and the posture withdrew…it was not a strong and confident reaction. He allowed DENSE to roll over him. Why bring it up and then fail to follow through. ? seemed weak to me.

I thought Nikki Haley did a pretty fair job in that interview. She knew who blew up that pipeline, but she doesn’t want to be targeted for saying so and have to answer the same question every time she gets a chance to push her own agenda. The question I have always had about her is why does she do such a good job of saying one thing and doing the other while the spotlights are not on her? But I have to give her points for thinking about her answers before opening her mouth and she was fairly well coached on what to say when asked obvious questions.
