My impression of Newsom is that he is thin skinned, arrogant, and entitled, but has benefited from living in a state where the GOP can’t seem to put up a decent candidate to save their lives! Just like Jay Inslee here in Washington, Newsom is protected by the press, has the benefit of a legislature that doesn’t have the numbers to challenge him, and says all the right things to appease the crazed hard Leftist contingency…
BUT, how will all of that translate on a national stage? Will he actually have to face tough questions and competent opponents? Will he melt into a puddle on the floor and refuse to debate like Inslee did when he tried to run for President in 2016?
