Greetings from the free state of Florida, we appreciate what you do here“… and things went rapidly downhill from there as the audience turned to see King Meatball, deliver his prose. [video below]
This latest exhibition takes place as the Daily Mail notes donors are increasingly apoplectic as the “awkward” and “gaffe prone” campaign strategy rolls out – seemingly under the control of Casey Desantis.

They are now figuring out ways to overcome his rigid appearance as he makes trips to more diners and meets with smaller groups of voters in his bid to nail down the Republican nomination.
‘He just needs to chill out a bit and be less stiff,’ one source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said. ‘He always looks awkward and needs to get out and meet more people.’
Another senior member of Team DeSantis fumed: ‘If his wife is a former TV reporter and she can’t teach him, who can?’
A third source said that they even had to coach the Florida governor on ‘when to smile’ when trying to interact with ordinary Americans. (read more)
Keep in mind, ABC News reported last month that Ron DeSantis will skip the exploratory committee phase and go straight into full campaign mode. However, the best part of the information provided from within the DeSantis operation is this, “The team has been paying close attention to how to help manage the governor’s facial reactions in the upcoming debate.” Too funny.
Nothing screams authenticity quite like taking political lessons in controlling your facial expressions. However, given the outcomes, as represented in the Iowa appearances, the face control classes didn’t work out too well. Casey must be big mad.
The problem DeSantis has is a matter of authenticity. In the big picture, authenticity is an outcome of believing in your message. President Trump is exceptionally authentic because his America First message is his. President Trump believes his message. Juxtapose this with the brutally inauthentic Ron DeSantis, and you’ll find the outcome of a candidate who is selling the message created by others.

I was watching a true crime show the other day where a woman drugged her husband and then pushed him overboard in a lake.

I was looking for GOP primary poll info for Oklahoma. In April Trump was ahead by 9 points. I’ll bet Trump’s lead has increased since then.
It wasn’t clear to me why DeSantis would go to Oklahoma but I see Cruz won the 2016 GOP primary there. But just barely, Cruz 34% to Trump 28%. That’s not a winner-takes-all state either, the delegates were divided up proportionately. Trump was an unknown then, now he has 4 years of presidency under his belt. I think DeSantis’ handlers are stupid to have him show up there, especially this early.

I think the likelihood of this happening is near zero but I still want to plan for it. We cannot allow Rob to win the primary, and I don’t think a write-in campaign will work because the GOP controls itself and if they won’t accept Trump as a candidate he cannot be the winner of their primary. I think we need to choose a different candidate. Any suggestions? We need to all be on board just in case.

I am 100% certain DeSantis’ run for Florida Governor in 2018 was a springboard for a presidential run in 2024. DeSantis’ wealthy anti-Trump donors were not going to wait til 2028, they were determined to run DeSantis in 2024 even if it meant DeSantis would be running against the man who helped him. Oh I see. The Oklahoma Governor endorsed Trump. That tells me that the Oklahoma Governor doesn’t care about average citizens throughout the US. Trump was a very effective President, did so much good for the economy, for workers, for the middle and lower classes, and for the entire world, really. But the Oklahoma Governor doesn’t want Trump to be able to repeat the success. I got it.
Per New York Post article: “Stitt backed Trump in the 2020 election and Trump had endorsed Stitt in both of his gubernatorial runs in 2018 and 2022.” So Stitt is another disloyal lout, just like Rob.
Stitt didn’t win by a whole lot in either 2018 or 2022. If Trump had spoken out against Stitt it’s possible Stitt would have lost.
My next task will be to check Oklahoma campaign finance laws and see who donated to Stitt’s 2022 election.

A commenter here mentioned that Meatball has his support coming thru the RGA Association which I had forgotten . Sundance spelled that out recently in explaining how Meatballs donors obscuring their identity by funneling the cash thru the RGA. I would imagine this OK. gov. is hoping to graze at the same trough or he already is. What if this guy Stitt is eyeballing a perch along with Meatball ?
You can see the donations to Meatball in the Florida campaign contribution site. More difficult to find now because the PAC was renamed to Empower Parents to try to make it look like it no longer has any relation to Meatball.

Edit: OK, I did add it up. If I added correctly, it amounts to $20.95 million. For a popular candidate’s re-election, so they claim. Total money laundering, everyone knows this money was intended to be spent on Meatball’s 2024 presidential run even though the FEC doesn’t allow state campaign money to be used for federal campaigns. They’ll find a way around it, they’ve already started the process.

I have a few friends who are ‘on the spectrum’. I recognize a lot of those symptoms in Ron. Difficulty with social interactions and communication is a hallmark of autism. People with autism may have difficulty picking up on social cues, with understanding and predicting the thoughts, feelings, and intentions of others. Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition that is considered a lifelong condition. However, there are interventions and therapies that can help individuals with autism manage their symptoms, develop skills, and improve their quality of life. I hope Casey does the right thing. Carrying on like this is pure spousal abuse.
